Samsung, at an event today, launched the Galaxy Tab S3 in India and it will be available via offline channels and on Samsung’s official website as well. There will be two variants of the tablet i.e. one with LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity and with only Wi-Fi connectivity. 

The Galaxy Tab S3 will have the S Pen included in the box and has a 0.7mm tip and 4,096 pressure levels. The tablet will also have a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display and weighs only 434 grammes. The tablet also has High Dynamic Range video playback capabilities and comes with 4 speakers that have been tuned by AKG for a superior audio experience.

The Galaxy Tab S3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor (Quad Core 2.15GHz + 1.6GHz), 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory that is expandable via microSD up to 256GB and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a 6,000 mAh battery and can support 12 hours of video playback. The device also has fast charging capabilities. The tablet also comes with a 13MP autofocus rear camera with flash and a 5MP front camera and supports Pogo keyboards that require no separate charging or pairing. The Pogo keyboard can be bought separately and retails for INR 8,499 and a smart cover (without the keyboard) retails for INR 3,000/

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will retail in India for INR 47,990 for the LTE variant with the S Pen bundled in the box. The tablet will be available in two colours i.e. Black and Silver. Reliance Jio users will also get a double data offer at launch i.e. 28GB + 28GB per month at Rs. 309. The company is also offering a one-time screen replacement at Rs. 990 for tablets bought before July 31 and will be valid for 12 months from the day of purchase.
