    Additional Information
    Developer Notes
CKEditor updated to 4.6.2 Template Tags are now parsed in plugin CSS while IN_DEV All tables that store member ID's have been adjusted to use BIGINT(20) on new installs. Existing installs will remain the same. Our converters are now part of the core Suite. The following updates have been made:
If a specific conversion has things available to convert but there are none in the third party database, you will no longer be required to convert them. For example, if you are converting from vBulletin and you do not have any profile field groups, you will not be required to 'convert' this step. The converters have been updated to work with developer mode properly (which has in turn led to many miscellaneous bug fixes) Converting from SMF will now prompt you to choose whether to keep member real names or display names when converting members Full language abstraction Redirections are now handled automatically without the need for uploading extra PHP files (and in the case of some conversions, overwriting the default index.php upon each upgrade) Converted links (i.e. links to topics, forums, profiles, etc.) will no longer redirect to the new locations within the Suite if the user does not have permission to view the content Gallery images embedded as attachments in posts in vBulletin will now work correctly post-conversion (for new conversions) Improved converters so that conversions that require a 'parent' (i.e. converting forums requires members to be converted first) will not allow you to start until the parent has been converted Converter version number has not been set inline with the rest of the Suite API endpoint added for converters to fetch details about what can be converted Joomla, Photoplog, Coppermine, BBPress converters added Miscellaneous performance improvements Dozens of bug fixes

IPS Community Suite 4.1.9 With All IPS Apps Nulled

    Key Changes
This release fixes reported issues from clients in our bug tracker and support tickets and adds refinement to existing features.
    New or Changed Features

When your link auto-embeds in a post such as with an image, YouTube video, Twitter link, etc. an option will now display to revert the embed back to a plain text link if you do not want the embed. New setting to disable embedding. Facebook/Twitter integration improvements If you are an administrator and encounter a system error, additional debug output will now display. Regular members will see the normal error message. Custom Fields for Support Requests in Commerce now show on the front-end. If an advertisement is set up with a main image, but not smaller images for tablets/mobiles, the ad would not show at all on tablets/mobiles. This has changed so the main image will display on all devices unless smaller images are provided. Topics scheduled to automatically lock or unlock will now reflect this in the topic listing and when viewing the topic. Placing a link to a Facebook status will embed when possible. When viewing a report, the container (for example, the forum) the content is from is displayed. Three character searches are now allowed in the Admin CP Live Search. The Account Settings page now uses vertical rather than horizontal tabs to prevent overflow. If Gravatar is enabled, and a user has not defined an profile photo, then their email address will be used to fetch from Gravatar unless explicitly set not to. Gfycat embeds now use their oEmbed endpoint rather than their JS API. Using Amazon CloudFront as https provider will now be recognized as valid secure connection. The member REST API endpoint will now return custom fields. The Developer Center for Plugins now shows the filename in the list of hooks, and when editing a hook, a breadcrumb includes a link back to the list. Inline notifications can now be dismissed Efficiency improvements to the search index You can now close a poll independently of the topic
    Important Fixes
In addition to dozens of smaller fixes this release includes fixes for the follow items that impacted many clients:

Several security enhancements. The posting parser has been made more efficient. Some BBCode does not parse correctly in version 4 and we have applied some fixes for this. In general BBCode is deprecated so we only provide basic support. Sitemaps could sometimes be blank if there was no content in a specific section. Certain URLs from version 3 were not redirecting properly to the new version 4 format. The timezone detection is now more robust and will more gracefully fail if it cannot determine a visitor's timezone. Permission matrices have been reworked to send less data to prevent exceeding server limitations. Decimal handling has been reworked in Commerce for more precise calculations. The database class now handles InnoDB deadlocks more gracefully, and some queries have been changed to reduce the likeliness of deadlocks. Performance improvements to areas which perform large updates on the members table (for example, when editing permissions). Pages 'number' custom fields previously had an upper limit for submitted values around 2 billion. Multiple fixes for tag searching
    Additional Information

    Security Enhancements:
Some potential issues have been brought to our attention with MD5 checks within the suite, including: In very specific situations, it can be possible to trick certain MD5 checks in to passing when the supplied MD5 hash does not actually match. Due to the way PHP compares strings, it is theoretically be possible under very controlled conditions to brute-force certain MD5 checks by measuring the response time. When logging out or changing one's password, the key used to automatically authorize a user on subsequent visits was not appropriately reset, meaning if someone had access to a machine you had previously logged in on (but not logged in again since you logged out), it may have been possible to reclaim the session. In addition to the above, we have also added additional entropy to the generation of certain hashes.
While these issues are mostly theoretical in nature, they have been addressed in 4.1.9. We would like to thank Ian Carroll for bringing these issues to our attention. We do not use MD5 hashing as part of our password checking so none of these issues apply to the method used for password encryption.

We have resolved an XSS vulnerability. Though we employ techniques to limit the damage possible with XSS vulnerabilities, they can be used to cause annoyance and for social engineering attacks.
We have added noopener and noreferrer to the rel attribute on outgoing links to alleviate certain types of social engineering attacks.
We have resolved an issue where under certain circumstances users could delete attachments without permission. We would like to thank https://www.malwarebytes.org/ for bringing this issue to our attention.
    Activity Stream Improvements
The activity stream has a new toggle and filter bar that replaces the "Edit Form" link. It is now faster and easier to customize existing streams and to change the filtering options without having to create new streams.

    Example of "un-embed" option

    Facebook/Twitter integration improvements

If signed in with Facebook or Twitter, when posting a status update, a checkbox to share on these services appears instead of the old setting to export statuses in the account settings panel. This change ensures IPS4 conforms with Facebook's Terms & Conditions and will pass Facebook's App Review. When setting up Facebook integration, a new setting allows disabling status imports so you do not need to go through Facebook's App Review if you only want to allow users to sign in with Facebook and not integrate with status updates. When setting up Facebook or Twitter integration, the setting to allow automatic sharing is shown in addition to in the sharing settings so it is easier to enable this feature. Facebook integration has been updated to use their latest API endpoints. A new guide will be available after 4.1.9's release to explain in detail how to go through Facebook's App Review process

IPS 4.1.11 Retail with all apps

This is a security release and we recommend all clients upgrade as soon as possible.

    Key Changes
This is a small maintenance release to fix a few issues reported in 4.1.10. In addition to bug fixes and performance improvements, it includes following new/changed features:
Integration with SparkPost replaces Mandrill for optional email service as Mandrill is stopping their current service toward the end of April. Questions in Question and Answer forums can now be sorted by most votes. The "All Activity" activity stream now has an RSS feed. The filter bar at the top of the activity stream no longer sticks to the stop of the screen when scrolling. If you receive a browser notification your notification menu will now reload to get the latest notification. More consistent visual feedback when a post submit or edit is processing to reduce duplicates. Sidebar widgets now how rounded corners to match rest of Suite. Recaptcha style is now a per-theme setting. You can now set which theme should be the default for the AdminCP separate to which should be the default for the front-end.
    Important Note
This is the last release that will support PHP 5.4 as it is end of life and no longer supported by PHP.
Please also note that PHP 5.5 goes full end of life in July 2016 so you should look into upgrading if your web host is using outdated versions. We will not immediately stop supporting PHP 5.5 in July but it may follow soon after.

    Additional Information
    Important Fixes
In addition to many smaller bug fixes and performance improvements, the following important fixes are included:
Guests were able to create streams. Logging into the AdminCP using Microsoft Sign In wasn't working. Pas were missing from the report center. In some circumstances, "0" would be removed from post content. MySQL 5.7 could throw an error when trying to clear out sessions. A recent Chrome update caused ACP search results to not display. Replying to support requests on an iPad wasn't working in some circumstances.
    Security Fixes
We are engaging in a third-party security audit of IPS Community Suite so you can expect the next few releases to contain a lot of security hardening. Many of these issues are not critical but we do still want to get the updates to you. This release includes fixes for several security issues:
Several CSRF vulnerabilities - most importantly on the process for associating OAuth sign-ins (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) with an account, meaning a malicious user could associate their own OAuth sign-in with another user's account. A session-hijacking vulnerability where after a login key is reset (such as after a password) since a new key is not immediately generated, the account was vulnerable to hijacking until they sign in again. A bug which meant the names of forums or other nodes a user did not have permission to access may have been exposed by accessing a particular URL. Several XSS vulnerabilities meaning if a malicious user could convince another user to perform particular steps, limited arbitrary JavaScript could be executed. A vulnerability where if using the "Download Member List" feature and opening the file with certain applications, malicious user data could cause expressions to be evaluated.
    And several security improvements:
Any existing sessions for a member are now cleared if they change their password, meaning users signed in on multiple devices will need to sign in again after a password change. A more secure hash generation algorithm is now used for login keys.
    Information for 3rd party developers
ModCpMemberManagement can now return NULL to not display the tab. CKEditor has been updated to 4.5.8.

This is a security release and we recommend all clients upgrade as soon as possible.
Dont be leech click at like and share forum link with others.

    Key Changes
This is a security release to fix a number of security related issues.
A vulnerability was recently discovered in ImageMagick, which, depending on your configuration, IPS Community Suite may use manipulate images. This update verifies that images sent to ImageMagick begin with the expected "magic bytes" corresponding to the image file type. We are engaging in a third-party security audit of IPS Community Suite and this update contains a lot of security hardening. Many of these issues are not critical but we do still want to get the updates to you.
This release only contains security fixes only. 4.1.12 will be our next general maintenance release.

    Additional Information
In addition to the ImageMagick fix described above, this update contains fixes for the following issues:
Session hijacking vulnerabilities with unmunged URLs and with referrer leaking  Several XSS vulnerabilities An open redirect vulnerability Under some circumstances, the reputation activity on a user's profile could reveal the titles of hidden content. Under some circumstances, the "post feed" sidebar widget reveal the titles of hidden content. The "Resend Confirmation Email" and "Change Email" buttons which appear when validating, and the "lost password" tool had no rate limiting, which could allow a malicious user to send lots of emails damaging the server's reputation. Uninstalling an application caused Pages pages to lose their sidebar configurations.

IPS Forum IPS Gallery IPS Blog IPS Commerce IPS Download IPS CMS Key Changes 4.1.12.1
This is a maintenance release to resolve the following issues:
Permission matrix can show incorrect permissions when using the Member > Group permission tool. Using Authorize.Net Payment Gateway may result in an error. A logged in member without a valid timezone set will trigger exceptions any time another members age is checked. Where the upgrader can result in a fatal error due to an invalid class stored for a Pages record comment. An upgrade error where reports are loaded for Pages databases that no longer exist. Orphaned comments trigger an exception when search index is rebuilding. An exception can occur continued upgrades: DateTime::setTimestamp() expects parameter 1 to be long, object given. Recursion can occur if the core_log table doesn't exist yet (as happens during auto upgrade). An issue where importing a theme can break CSS. MySQL strict mode upgrade to 4.1.12 can fail. Installing a new plugin via the ACP can fail. As part of our ongoing internal security audit, this release also improves security in the following areas:
Possible XSS in the "hovercard" system. Further hardening to the insecure file upload code.

    Key Changes  4.1.12
This is a maintenance release to fix reported issues and add refinement to existing features. In addition to bug fixes and performance improvements, it includes following enhancements:
    New Features:
When you mouseover the badge showing who liked a post, you will now see a larger list of who liked that post. You can still click to get the full list. Ratings now show half-stars for the average (for example, if one user votes 3 stars and another 4, it will show 3 and a half stars) and there is now an indication if you have rated something. A "Preview" button has been added to the post editor which shows how the post will appear after BBCode processing. Tabs show how the post will appear on desktop, tablet and mobile. Users can now choose to ignore notifications for being mentioned in posts by particular users. You can now filter searches by specific forums/categories. You can now control whether open and click tracking should be used for emails sent by SparkPost. Activity Stream enhancements:
The filter dropdowns now have an "Apply" button for better usability (previously you had to click outside the dropdown). The "Expanded/Collapsed" toggles are now clearer. Hitting back from a clicked item in any activity stream now remembers your position and loaded results. Other enhancements and improvements:
The way dates are formatted can now be customised by language strings. For example, if you want to change the date format to "DD-MM-YYYY" that is now possible. With this change, the new default is US-style ("March 4, 1992") rather than the previous European-style ("4 March 1992"). Advertisements no longer have padding which makes them easier to position in other areas such as headers. When comparing revisions of articles in Pages databases, a new browser-based diff tool is used which is more user-friendly and moves the computation from the server to the user's browser for greater performance. Better indication of files pending approval in Downloads. The version number for themes now displays in the AdminCP list. Technical features:
If you are using the utf8 rather than utf8mb4 character set (which will mean you can't post Emoji) there is a new tool in the AdminCP to upgrade to utf8mb4. System logs have been rewritten to use the database for logging where possible with a more user-friendly interface in the AdminCP. Downloading files from Amazon S3 has been changed to redirect the user to a temporary download URL rather than serve the file through your server for significantly improved performance and reliability, especially with large files. If it is available on the server, ImageMagick will now be used rather than GD by default. ImageMagick also has a new setting to control JPG quality. APC User Cache is now supported in addition to APC. Warning This release does not support PHP 5.4 as it is end of life and no longer supported by PHP. Key Changes 4.1.12.1

If you are running PHP 5.4 do not upgrade and ask your web host to update to a supported version of PHP. Additional Information

    IPS Community Suite 4.1.13 RETAIL

    Key Changes
This is a maintenance release to fix reported issues and add refinement to existing features. This release also contains a security improvement for older versions of PHP.

In a recent change to their API, Google now requires an API Key to access their Maps API. After upgrading to 4.1.13, follow our Google Maps guide to restore this integration. This is especially recommended if you are using Commerce which uses the API for address input auto completion.

In addition to bug fixes and performance improvements, this release also includes following enhancements

New per-group setting to highlight posts made by certain groups. 2 theme settings control the color and border, which are editable in the easy theme editor. New setting to make providing a billing address optional for purchases in Commerce. Personal conversation management improvements: Can now filter personal conversations to just read/unread. Can now move multiple personal conversations into a different folder at once. Can search by recipient/sender name. Notifications about Calendar events now include the event date. New setting to control which images sizes should have a watermark applied in Gallery. New setting to control which IP pool to use for SparkPost if you have purchased dedicated IP addresses. Better handling of upgrades if files have been modified. The sidebar widget for showing Downloads files can now show just free or paid files. When searching templates or CSS files in the AdminCP template editor, it will search for templates or CSS files with a name matching the term provided, in addition to searching the content of them. When viewing a log in the AdminCP, it will now show you on which page the log occurred and by which member. When the search index is being rebuilt, a message is now shown on the search results page to indicate why results may not be complete. The "details" modal for applications and plugins now has a tab which shows the hooks associated with that application or plugin. The placeholders that display on date/time inputs (e.g. "HH:MM") can now be translated. Rebuilding the search index, and rebuilding posts after a 3.x upgrade now processes newest posts first for a more user-friendly experience after upgrading. When a file is deleted, a log is created and a new setting controls how to keep these logs for.
The following Pages features are also included:
HTML pages are now editable via Designer's mode. Ability to rename, or delete a group of Database templates Ability to ensure the Page's title remains in all database generated links (categories, records, forms, etc) Reciprocal linking when using relational fields Date and time fields, and Yes/No fields are now filterable. Filterable custom fields now available when creating a record feed block Ability to make some custom fields unique, so that only one record per database can have the same value. Ability to delete a folder in the media manager Ability to use $record->field_key_name_here programatically to get and set values, instead of relying on $record->field_11 which may change when you export and import databases.
    Additional Information
    Information for 3rd party designers
The new feature to highlight posts made by members in a particular post adds to the article.ipsComment element a.ipsComment_highlighted class and a data-memberGroup attribute with the group ID (so a site could do different colors for different groups, though the default implementation does not do this). On the default theme, the new CSS is:

Official PHP 7 support Major performance improvements to Activity Streams Important
This is the last release to officially support PHP 5.5 which is now completely unsupported by PHP. If your web host is still using PHP 5.5 you should contact them to upgrade to either PHP 5.6 or PHP 7.0.

If your application defines language strings for the names of content types with an indefinite article (which use the prefix "__indefart_"), for example:
    '__indefart_post' => "a post in a topic", '__indefart_topic' => "a topic", '__indefart_answer' => "an answer to a question", '__indefart_question' => "a question",
You must add matching strings which provide the name of the content type as it would appear with (but not including) the definite article using the "__defart_" prefix:

    '__defart_post' => "post in a topic", '__defart_topic' => "topic", '__defart_answer' => "answer to a question", '__defart_question' => "question",
IPAddresses extensions can now define two methods: supportedInAcp() and supportedInModCp(), both of which can return a boolean value to indicate if that extension should show in the AdminCP IP address lookup and ModCP IP address lookup respectively. If undefined, it behaves as if true is returned. CKEditor has been updated 4.5.10. CodeMirror has been updated to 5.17. Plupload has been updated to 2.1.9. buzz.js has been updated to 1.2.
