  1. Bengaluru aka the Silicon Valley of India has forever been ahead of its fellow cities, be it in technology or lifestyle. Let's keep public transport out of this discussion (we know you will pick it up first), but we can have a debate on that later. There is some air about Bengaluru that makes those living outside envious and the ones living there grin with pride and now the Bengalureans just got another reason to be more boastful. Yesterday, Bengaluru became the first Indian city to get its own logo. You can twitch your eyes in astonishment as much as you want, but it's true and Karnataka Tourism Minister Priyank Kharge unveiled the logo at the Namma Bengaluru Habba festival. © Twitter With this logo, Bengaluru has not only left other metros like Delhi and Mumbai behind, but has also joined the league of global cities like New York, Paris, London, Singapore, Berlin and Melbourne. These cities already have their own tourism logo. Launching Brand Bengaluru - the most enterprising, dynamic, progressive & glocal city; a city that allows U to be yourself. Participate in the #NammaBengaluruHabba near Vidhan Soudha today, and celebrate Namma Ooru Bengaluru! @PriyankKharge @KarnatakaWorld pic.twitter.com/zFGi1sLLfc — CM of Karnataka (@CMofKarnataka) December 24, 2017 The logo highlights the city's rich history, art and culture; indicates at its open culture and how people can be themselves here. The first two letters 'B', 'E' and last letter 'U' are in red colour which stands for 'Be You'. This red and black logo is part English and part Kannada. The third and second last letters 'U' and 'R' resemble the vowel 'oo' in Kannada. This logo was crowdsourced and design firm called Nammur made the cut by surpassing over 1000 entries that came. © Twitter While, this is something totally unique and great for Bengaluru to get its own logo, being a savage platform that Twitter they could not help but dots that were totally random but made sense after they pointed it out. On one hand where Bangalore was basking in the glory of winning a brownie point against Mumbai and Delhi, in the race for the best city in India; there were some who brought Bengal that was until now nowhere in the picture. While, others saw 'Be You' in the logo, Twitter couldn't see beyond 'Bengal' and we are tripping over this amazing observation. This is the new Bangalore logo. Highlighted 'Be u' = you can be yourself The typography is part English part Kannada (Uru = town = à²à²°à³) I noticed 'Bengal' before I noticed all of the above ð#NammaBengaluru pic.twitter.com/WpyOvv9CMt — ashenai (@ashenai) December 25, 2017 I love Bengaluru, and the city now has a new logo for itself too! Only, at first glance it looked like someone wrote 'Bengal' and accidentally dropped a noodle after it! ð pic.twitter.com/wFJm8NLNj1 — Tweetosaurus (@abhi413) December 25, 2017 There was one who was quick to notice how this logo looked strikingly similar to that of Amsterdam. I have to say the new Bengaluru logo looks eerily similar to the 'I Amsterdam' logo. A bit more of originality would've been appreciated — The Blue Crusader (@theangryblue) December 25, 2017 While, there were some who could not see anything beyond traffic. 1. @silk_board Before launching logo for Bengaluru 2. Wish the roads and traffic would also be as "open" in the city...https://t.co/JF80MEE8LC — Mithun Kumar (@picsnapr) December 25, 2017 So folks, let us know what you think about this new logo.
  2. The party's logo KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) unveiled on Wednesday the official logo for its Golden Jubilee Foundation Day on November 30, 2017. The party has planned a rally in Islamabad to mark its 50th anniversary. PPP was founded by former prime minister and popular leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto on November 30, 1967. The party, through a mass mandate, managed to form the federal government thrice in its 50-year political journey. Speaking at a press conference on October 13, PPP leader Chaudhry Manzoor said: ?PPP has survived four martial laws and remained firm in its vision?. PPP continues to serve people the same way it did before, he added. The party is known for braving the harsh dictatorship of General Zia-ul-Haq, who not only dismissed the Bhutto-led government but was also perceived to be involved in the controversial decision against the party leader, leading to his hanging. After Bhutto?s demise, the party was led by his wife late Nusrat Bhutto. Later, his daughter late Benazir Bhutto took the party?s helm of affairs till her tragic assassination at Rawalpindi?s Liaquat Bagh on Dec 27, 2007. The party is now led by Benazir's son, Bilawal.

The logo ? which includes the word ?Italia? ? features a more modern design than the crest introduced after the 2006 World Cup victory and will appear on the new Italy 2018 home jerseys to be released later this month.
