  1. If you have been following the world of bodybuilding closely, you already know who Calum Von Moger is. If you don't, then here's a primer. (c) Youtube A wildly popular figure in the online fitness community, Calum has been pushing iron for over 15 years now. His incredible physique proves what he's capable of and what he's accomplished under the bar. He has also been pretty popular for his stark resemblance to the legend Arnold Schwarzenegger. What comes as a surprise to his fans is the news that he will be essaying the role of Arnold in the upcoming movie 'Bigger'. The movie is essentially a biopic of the Weider Brothers, Ben and Joe who are known worldwide for promoting bodybuilding and turning it into as big of a sport and business as it is today. (c) Youtube While it's almost impossible to stand next to the classic and undying physique of Arnold during his prime, Von Moger's physique isn't very different from the golden era look. (FYI- Von Moger is pound for pound heavier and bigger than Arnold.) Who's at the @ausfitnessshow this weekend? I'm here Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Come to booth A39 and pickup some @teamvonmoger and #koalafreak gear! ðªð¼ð¨ catch ya later A post shared by CALUM VON MOGER ð¦ðº (@calumvonmoger) on Oct 12, 2017 at 9:35pm PDT Here's Von Moger busting his guns. Shorter shorts & tighter tanks = extra filthy pumps! Who's getting one today? ðð»‍âï¸ @teamvonmoger (new koala freak tank and shorts) ð¨ðªð¼ A post shared by CALUM VON MOGER ð¦ðº (@calumvonmoger) on Aug 3, 2017 at 12:10pm PDT During a competition, Moger sits at an easy 115 kilos and off-season he shoots up to about 122 kilos. Moger was also Mr Universe 2015-15. More or less, he's always in YouTube-worthy shape which justifies his massive social media following as well. Can't wait for the movie to come out!
  2. Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone confirmed that she will be a part of Shah Rukh-starrer Aanand L Rai's next movie, according to Indian media. During an interview with a leading media channel, Deepika revealed that she has a cameo in the movie. She shared: "It?s a cameo and it was fun. Shah Rukh just called me up and said that they wanted to do something special and it happened. And I believe that if the heart is in the right place and just call took place." "Literally, he just called me and I think in a couple of days we shot. It was such a fun. None of us felt like we were working. It was like a couple of friends catching up," the Bajirao Mastani actress added. The two stars have worked together in blockbusters such as Happy New Year, Chennai Express and Om Shanti Om. The actress will be seen next opposite Ranvir Singh and Shahid Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati.
  3. US producer Harvey Weinstein (3rdL) leaves the presidential Elysee Palace in Paris with his wife Georgina Chapman after the French President awarded him with the Legion d'Honneur (Legion of Honor), March 7, 2012. AFP/Eric Feferberg/Files NEW YORK: The Weinstein Company announced Monday that Colony Capital had agreed to provide the scandal-plagued studio with financing and that the two parties were in talks on a potential sale. Founded by Thomas Barrack ? a longtime friend of US President Donald Trump ? Colony Capital will provide an "immediate cash infusion" into The Weinstein Company, the firm said in a statement. "In addition, the Company has entered a negotiating period with Colony Capital for a potential sale of all or a significant portion of the Company's assets," the statement added. The company fired co-founder Harvey Weinstein earlier this month following numerous accusations of sexual harassment and sexual assault. Since that time, questions have swirled around whether the enterprise, started by Harvey and his brother Bob, could survive the disgraced exit of one of its co-founders. US business media have reported that four of the board's seven members have resigned. The studio's website still lists Harvey Weinstein as co-chairman. British news site the Daily Mail reported that the remaining board members were set to meet in New York City Tuesday. "On behalf of the board, we are pleased to announce this agreement and potential strategic partnership with Colony Capital," Weinstein Company board member Tarak Ben Ammar said. "We believe that Colony's investment and sponsorship will help stabilize the Company's current operations, as well as provide comfort to our critical distribution, production and talent partners around the world." Trump fundraiser Colony Capital is led by Barrack, who raised funds for Trump during the presidential campaign and has served as an informal advisor since. Barrack, who is of Lebanese descent, has publicly disagreed at times with the president on immigration and other matters. Barrack founded Colony in 1991. He built his fortune by investing in high-risk real estate in the Middle East and Germany and once saved Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch from foreclosure. "We are pleased to invest in The Weinstein Company and to help it move forward," said Barrack. "We believe the company has substantial value and growth potential," he said. "We will help return the company to its rightful iconic position in the independent film and television industry." Colony previously worked with The Weinstein Company on a venture to monetize content from the library of Miramax, Weinstein's earlier company that was sold to Disney in 1993. Colony was part of a consortium that bought Miramax from Disney in 2010. Colony and other partners sold Miramax to Qatar-based BeIN Media in 2016. The Weinstein Company has been in free fall following revelations that Harvey Weinstein assaulted or harassed more than two dozen women in the movie industry, including major stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Ashley Judd. Once called "God" by Meryl Streep, Weinstein is credited with helping to ignite the rise of major independent cinema in the early 1990s at Miramax. The numerous films he has steered to Academy Awards glory include The Artist, The King's Speech, and The Iron Lady. But Weinstein, a supporter of progressive politicians including former President Barack Obama and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, has been castigated by political and cinematic figures alike in the wake of accusations by more than two dozen women of predatory behavior. He is alleged to have sought to deploy his immense power in Hollywood to pressure starlets and other young women into intimate relationships. On Saturday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences expelled Weinstein. French President Emmanuel Macron has also asked officials to strip Weinstein of the prestigious Legion of Honor award. The Weinstein story continued to reverberate in Hollywood and beyond. Thousands of women took to social media over the weekend in response to an appeal by actress Alyssa Milano to respond "me too" if they have been sexually assaulted or harassed. It became the top trending topic on Twitter. Meanwhile, New York prosecutor Cy Vance announced that the Center for the Advancement of Public Integrity, based at Columbia University's law school, will conduct a 90-day review of his handling of campaign contributions. The move follows criticism of his decision not to file charges over sexual assault allegations by Italian model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez against Hollywood giant Weinstein. President's children Vance also decided against charging the children of now-president Trump, Ivanka and Donald Jr, over allegations they lied to buyers of units in a SoHo district building. Critics accuse Vance of failing to pursue charges in both cases because of financial contributions he received from lawyers for Trump as well as David Boies, one of Weinstein's attorneys. Vance has denied the campaign contributions influenced either decision.
  4. Parents always want to protect their kids from anything and everything under the sun and it's quite understandable, because they want to keep them secure. Reasonable. But what happens when this love triggers their overprotective instincts and they set out to control their kids' lives? We guess John Cena, Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz might be in a better position to answer this, since that's exactly what they will be doing in the upcoming comedy movie 'Blockers'. © Universal Pictures Since time immemorial, Hollywood has been making big bucks by stressing on the importance of prom night in teenagers' lives and how their parents freak out, imagining their kids losing their virginity one fine day (or should we say night). So what makes this one special that the rest? The mighty John Cena as an overprotective dad, who even dares to chug beer through his (I can't even) butt for his daughter? Of course! But this isn't the only 'special' element. The movie smartly plays around the concept of using emojis for conveying sexual messages – you know just millennial things – and how poor parents are trying hard to decode those *** emojis. © Universal Pictures The premise of the movie is slightly cliché; a trio of parents who have seen their daughters grow up together, stumble upon a group chat where the daughters are busy chatting through emojis. Turns out, the three have signed a '*** pact' where they will lose their virginity on their prom night. Well, definitely the shock was bigger than walking in on kids masturbating. So the parents decided to ruin the prom night for their kids and go to extreme lengths to stop them from having ***. We wonder if the thought of teaching their kids to have safe *** ever crossed their minds, it could have been a less painful option, especially for John Cena. While Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz share a great comic timing, professional wrestler John Cena managed to tickle our funny bones as well with his hilarious antics. 'Pitch Perfect' writer Kay Cannon wears the Director's hat for this film which stars Kathryn Newton, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Gideon Adlan as the beautiful daughters. The coming-of-age comedy movie is expected to release on April 6, 2018.
  5. Chetan Bhagat always has been the favourite target for trolls on Twitter, and he honestly makes it quite easy for them. It's actually kind of sad that he now has more haters than fans, but he himself is responsible for that. Every few weeks, he blesses us with a gem of tweet that immediately catches everyone's attention. This time it happens to be a poll regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding the facts that ‘Taj Mahal' has been left out of an Uttar Pradesh tourism booklet, which was recently released by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department. © Twitter Basically, ‘Uttar Pradesh Paryatan – Apaar Sambhavnaayein‘ (Uttar Pradesh Tourism – Limitless Possibilities) is a 32-page booklet featuring prominent heritage and cultural sites in the state. I think everyone can agree that the Taj Mahal is probably one of the most recognised symbols of Indian culture all over the world; therefore, the omission of this historic site has caused a lot of uproar. Chetan Bhagat took to his Twitter account to ask his followers about their opinion on this topic, but he really should have double checked what he wrote before posting. Referencing a Washington Post article titled “Is India neglecting the Taj Mahal because it was built by Muslims?”, he posted this question — “Did you ever, as an Indian, saw the Taj as a ‘Muslim' monument (as @washingtonpost is saying it's being neglected because it is Muslim)”. Did you ever, as an Indian, saw the Taj as a 'Muslim' monument (as @washingtonpost is saying it's being neglected because it is Muslim) — Chetan Bhagat (@chetan_bhagat) October 4, 2017 But, he made one fatal mistake. People started calling him out for his bad grammar, and it's so ironic considering he's a best-selling author. A lot of people were quick to point out that the sentence should've been “Did you ever, as an Indian, SEE the Taj as a ‘Muslim' monument?” Okay fine, it is probably just a typo, but that doesn't stop people from making fun, obviously. No one can saw the Taj. As an Indian once wanted to Saw the Taj but they didn't let me enter with a Saw and said u can only see the Taj, not saw it — Joy (@Joydas) October 4, 2017 Simple and effective. see* — Vaidehi Murthy (@ButVai) October 4, 2017 Just so ironic. For a guy who claims to be a writer in English, that's some really bad grammar! — â¤SoM⤠(@crazy4fawad) October 4, 2017 Shots fired. "Did you ever saw..", does not an author behoove. — Vijay Srinivasan (@Vijays_tweet) October 4, 2017 Even the kid knows better. Did saw? Did? Saw? My kid laughed out loud. — Roflindian (@Roflindian) October 5, 2017 Best hashtag. #DontSawTheTaj #SeeSawTaj — Prasanto K Roy (@prasanto) October 4, 2017 Photoshop at its finest. ???? — Neha Yadav (@nay_yeah) October 4, 2017 Yes, Chetan Bhagat is very gud at englizh. — the sheriff ð®ð»‍âï¸ (@sheriff_eye) October 4, 2017 Chetan, did you ‘saw' your mistake, though?
  6. After a long time we finally get to watch a film that makes you fall in love with it as it proceeds. Adaptation of Jon Favreau's ‘Chef', Saif Ali Khan starrer is a refreshing tale. Unlike most of the directors who would have made it a frame to frame copy, director Raja Krishna Menon adds his own ingredient to the already liked dish, giving it its unique taste. Roshan Kalra (Saif Ali Khan) is a three-star Michelin chef who works for New York's Gulli restaurant but gets fired after he breaks the nose of a customer who criticises his food. Left with nothing to do at the moment, he flies to Kochi to spend time with his son Armaan (Svar Kamble) and his ex-wife Radha Menon (Padmapriya Janakiraman). The trip gives him the time to rebond with his family and build memories. Things take a turn when Radha suggests him to start a food truck and to start afresh once again in life. © Abundantia Entertainment As Saif mentioned before, this isn't a rip-off of the original film and that's exactly what makes ‘Chef' such a heart-warming story. The movie works on two different levels: first, it takes you on a gastronomic ride making you hungry all the while. Well, there is a huge chance you might want to go out for brunch somewhere to satisfy your hunger pangs. And secondly, the film deals with the small issues with father and son and how they try to get along, and that's the high point of the film. ‘Chef' isn't all about culinary skills and cooking but truly radiates the warmth and emotions making it a cinematic treat for the viewers. The film brilliantly mentions how passion and dedication while cooking makes a difference. Wish directors nowadays could understand the same. Without delving much into the emotional drama or forcing things down your throat, ‘Chef' very wisely captures your attention, making you live Kalra and Armaan's journey. © Abundantia Entertainment Watch this film because you will totally connect to it on different levels. Self Obsession Accept it or deny it, we all are obsessed with ourselves at least some bit. Same is the story with Saif. A Michelin-starred chef who fails to accept that he has lost that touch and taste that made his food succulent. In the race of life, he has surrounded himself with middle-class barriers leaving his passion somewhere behind. That rings a bell, doesn't it? Co-Parenting ‘Chef' also throws up the merits of co-parenting, which is a constant state in today's urban society. In our society, a divorce is such a huge deal that when a marriage breaks, eventually everything about it does. However, ‘Chef' brings a much-matured tale where despite the relationship failing, the exes still bond with each other. Radha and Roshan throw light on the merits of co-parenting. You see the chemistry between the couple, but nothing goes beyond. If this would have been any other Bollywood director, we bet attraction would have turned into a one-night stand and a lot more. But ‘Chef' is realistic and not just about, ‘They lived happily ever after!' © Abundantia Entertainment A Tale About Father And Son Bonding Wish you had a better relationship with your dad? Or trying to build one after a long time? Then this is totally a story that every individual might connect to. It's about a time where you tie all the loose ends and get hold of things you have lost. It's about rebuilding memories from scratch for both father as well as the son. Armaan is not being used to his father's presence and you see regret in Kalra's eyes that he missed something that meant so much. Life And Identity Crisis Don't we all face it? No matter what's your age. Yeah, that's about Kalra finding his passion for food again and not making it a usual chore. ‘Chef' celebrates the glory of food with a perfect blend of spice and ingredients that represents life. © Abundantia Entertainment Finding Love And Passion Again What makes this film special is that gives you a slice of life and tugs at your heart. It's about finding passion and igniting the flame once again. There is one point where Roshan says feeding people with your hand is ‘rab ki meher' that binds up the meaning of cooking for him. What's makes this film so realistic and touching is the perfect cast. Saif Ali Khan totally rocks as Roshan Kalra reminding you of a boy from Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Padmapriya Janakiraman is so natural and graceful that you can't get your eyes away from her, & Svar Kamble is spot on as well. ‘Chef' is a film filled with perfect ingredients, infused with the right spices, giving it a mild aroma that lasts longer on your tongue and mind.
  7. Judwaa 2 (2017) Watch Full Movie Online Download Free,Watch Full Movie Mom (2017) Online Download Free HD Quality Clear Voice. Judwaa 2 (2017) Latest Movie Online Director: David Dhawan Writers: Yunus Sajawal (screenplay), Farhad Samji (dialogue) Stars: Salman Khan, Anupam Kher, Jacqueline Fernandez Judwaa 2 2017 Synopsis A sequel to David Dhawan’s 1997 film Judwaa. Judwaa 2 Story: Twin brothers Raja and Prem are separated at birth after their father exposes a kingpin and his racket. They eventually come together to battle a smuggling ring and save their family from certain doom.
  8. Actor Naseeruddin Shah once said Bollywood "films that should never have been made are being re-made". David Dhawan, who directed a series of crass comedies in the 90's probably doesn't agree, because he's made the same film twice. Once in 1997 with Salman Khan and 20 years later - in the Bollywood tradition of nepotism - with his own son in the lead. To Varun Dhawan's credit, he is the best thing about a film that simply doesn?t hold up. Twenty years ago, "Judwaa" barely passed the test of any comedy. Watch it again today and it grates on your nerves. The director makes cosmetic attempts at keeping up with the times. The film?s location changes to London, which explains the deletion of the song ?East or West, India is the best.? In ?Judwaa 2?, India is shown only in flashbacks when a smuggler kidnaps one of newborn twins to extract revenge on the father. The family moves to London, unaware that Raja (Varun Dhawan) is alive and is being raised in a fisherman?s colony in Mumbai. He runs away to London after an altercation with a criminal, leading to a comedy of errors. While Raja is boisterous and always ready for a fight, his twin brother Prem is meek and avoids confrontation. They both fall in love with women whose only role in the film is be arm candy. The director milks the same joke over and over again. Prem and Raja mirror each other?s actions - so when one is kissing, so is the other; when one lands a blow, so does the other. This leads to many slapstick moments and is funny just once, after which it gets repetitive. There is a host of ensemble actors who add nothing to the film?s humour quotient, and saunter in and out of the screen with no purpose. "Judwaa 2" is already treading on thin ice, given it never had strong material to begin with. Thankfully, as in the original, it has a leading man with enough screen presence to manage scenes that would be too outlandish otherwise.
  9. The highly anticipated movie ‘Judwaa 2' just released today, with everyone quite excited to watch this new remake, starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Everyone was obviously quite excited for the movie, but there are some people who couldn't help but compare it to last week's big release ‘Newton'. The Rajkumar Rao-starrer ‘Newton' is set in a Naxal-affected area in the state of Chattisgarh, with the story revolving around an election officer who goes against all odds to make sure elections are held in a fair manner. © Drishyam Films As anyone can tell, both movies have extremely different storylines, but will that stop people on Twitter from bashing the slapstick comedy that is ‘Judwaa 2'? Absolutely not. And, it's not just talking about the movie, but they're comparing it to India's Oscars entry, ‘Newton', dragging in everyone's favourite word these day – nepotism – in the process. Okay fine, that is totally unfair, but some of them are still hilarious nonetheless. Wish Judwaa 2 Ki Dussehra Could Be Celebrated By Burning The Raavan Of "Nepotism" From #Bollywood. We Need Quality Movies, Not #Judwaa2ððð — Sir Ravindra Jadeja (@SirJadeja) September 29, 2017 So much nepotism. Ekdan sahi. We need a brilliant film like #Newton for sure but we will never stop needing #Judwaa2 coz All india blockbusters get money into industry! — Milap (@zmilap) September 29, 2017 Using science to roast, pretty cool. 10. Yippee ki-yay, it'll be good to see you again, John McClane. It's difficult to kill this iconic character, no one dies harder. So obviously, Bruce Willis is returning as everyone's favourite badass New York City cop in an upcoming Die Hard instalment, but the next flick will be unlike anything we've seen before. © Fox Even though the plot has been kept under wraps, it is being described as a prequel/sequel of sorts that will involve John McClane in both present day and 1970's New York. So, now with Bruce Willis on board, casting will now begin for the actor who will portray McClane when he was a NYC beat cop, according to Deadline. © Fox Talking about his return, the 62-year old star said, “I'm really pleased to continue to be asked back to do other versions and other incarnations of Die Hard. The first one really is… that's all there is. Everything else is just trying to be as good as that film.” — len wiseman (@LenWiseman) October 15, 2015 Director Len Wiseman is quite set on finding the right person to portray young McClane. He said, “The right casting for this role is crucial. Those bare feet have some very big shoes to fill.” Since the next movie is both a sequel to 2013's ‘A Good Day to Die-Hard' and a prequel to 1988's ‘Die Hard', it seems likely that McClane's back-story will be told through flashbacks. © Fox Even though the rumours of the upcoming movie surfaced back in 2015, this is the first confirmation of Willis being on board. There's not much information about it as of now, not even the release date, but this is enough for now, and as for the diehard ‘Die Hard' fans, they can just binge watch all the previous movies while waiting for the next one.
  11. Guess what, you horror movie freaks? Pennywise the evil clown is making a coming back for the sequel of the record breaking, highest grossing film ‘It'. The film is scheduled to be released at a theatre near you, in less than two years; in September 2019. The second half of Stephen Kings' marvelous scary-to-the-hilt rendition will be directed by Andy Muschietti . If you remember, the first half ends with the kids finally sending Pennywise back where he came from. Since Pennywise surfaces after every 27 years, the second half will focus on the kids from the ‘Loser's Club', when they're all grown up, 27 years later, and are brought back together by a devastating phone call. © New Line Cinema The sequel was envisioned from the start, when Gary Dauberman penned the first part. He will also be writing the second half, while Muscheitti gets ready to direct it. The kids from the ‘Loser's Club' will be in their 30's to early 40s roughly and many actors have already been suggested on social media to fit their roles. Let's see who gets to fight the clown and send him back to hell, this time! ‘It' was a huge success in the horror movie genre, not just for this year, but for every horror movie ever made; ‘It' surpassed box office collections and beat even ‘The Exorcist', earning a record breaking $123million in the US. ‘It' also had the biggest opening for an R-rated movie, largest opening for a movie based on a book and the best opening for a New Line release and get this, ‘It' is almost nearing half a billion worldwide! If this one didn't scare you, we really don't know what will! © New Line Cinema Coming back to the sequel though, we're sure it will do justice to the first one and give us a peek into the lives of the seven kids who bravely fought the monster, in order for him to stop haunting them, for the next 27 years. The sequel will be titled ‘It: Chapter II' and we're more than curious where the story is heading, with the scary clowns haunting adults now, or wait, will he be haunting their kids instead? Only one way to find out! Let the wait begin.

  15. Every time Elon Musk makes a mistake, it obviously does not come cheap, especially when it comes to SpaceX, his aeronautics company. And, instead of sweeping all of his failed attempts under the rug, he's out here flaunting them. Yesterday, Musk shared a video highlighting what happens when you fail to land an orbital rocket booster, and it is insane. Musk once said that he would like to measure the success of his company's efforts to land and reuse rocket boosters on how it becomes such a routine, that it's not even newsworthy anymore. And, doing just that, SpaceX has landed about 16 rockets, on either a landing platform at sea or its helicopter-like landing pad at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, turning what once was considered an incredible and jaw dropping feat to achieve, into an everyday thing. Since SpaceX has landed so many rockets, Musk thought it would be nice to remind everyone just how difficult it is to reach that point with a two-minute blooper reel of all the failed attempts, set to Liberty Bell, the tune used as the Monty Python theme song. The whole video consists of just rockets exploding and getting destroyed, one after another, complete with funny and self-depreciating captions like “Rocket is fine? It's just a scratch.” Another hilarious caption said, “Well, technically it did land….just not in one piece.” The rockets can be seen crashing into a landing platform at sea, or the ocean itself, and during one of the tests, the rocket just exploded mid-air. Obviously, all of these failures led to a successfully run operation in SpaceX, which is highlighted towards the end video by demonstrating the company's first land landing and the first droneship landing. Sharing the video on Twitter, Musk said, “Long road to reusabity of Falcon 9 primary boost stage…When upper stage & fairing also reusable, costs will drop by a factor >100.” Watch the spectacular video here:
  16. Bollywood and its experimental nature has resulted in some great work out there. However, there's one theme that no one has dabbled with, something filmmakers are wary of doing and even the society sweeps it away under the carpet. It's the whole issue of dealing with incest. Just because a major part of our upbringing has been about not addressing it, doesn't mean that the elephant is not in the room. However, that is going to change now with a new movie called ‘I Am Roshni'. © crescendo films The movie is India's first major attempt at dealing with incest and before you jump on the car that leads your brain to some kind of judgement, calm down. The trailer gives us a peek of what the makers have tried to do. A perverted uncle, an insensitive mother, a weird boyfriend and a violent father are some of the characters which are actually a reflection of the people around us. How they and a bounded life pushes Roshni (the lead) to get intimate with her brother is what the story is all about. © crescendo films The movie is produced by Crescendo and the nature is nowhere sleazy. The movie has a strong social message that urges families to identify all kinds of abuses and have an open relationship with their kids. The movie stars two newcomers in the lead.
  17. The ‘Purge' franchise has earned a lot of flak for its bold moves but gained a lot of success, thanks to its extensive blasphemous use of political allegory in the movies. The concept was bold, it was voyeuristic and sadist in nature, and the fact that many people love it, speaks a lot about how humans function. © Universal Pictures Out of all the movies, it's the first one that set the tone right, hitting people in the feels. Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey did a wonderful job after all. If like many others, the first one was your favourite too, then this spells good news for you. James DeMonaco is coming up with ‘Purge: The Island', the next instalment in the series and the best part about this is that it will pick up right from where the first one ended. More like a prequel to what actually happened before the purge night. This movie will tell the story of the first ever purge, which could mean more violence. © Universal Pictures You know what's even better? Monaco is also working on a TV show which will be set during seven years after the first purge. The series tackles larger issues like social and class division in a very dark manner. For those of you who are not familiar to the whole gruesome concept of the series, ‘Purge' is set in a hypothetical world, America namely, where an annual ‘purge' night is held. This means that all criminal activities are legal and allowed in a 12 hour window and the government doesn't intervenes. © Universal Pictures Watching the new Purge which will trace the history of how it all began will be a treat for the fans. The movie is all set to release July 4th, 2018.
  18. A scene from the movie My Pure Land directed by British-Pakistani director Sarmad Masud. Photo: Internet My Pure Land is a modern-day feminist Western, set to hit UK cinemas on 15 September, will take you on an incredible journey through its protagonists. Based on a true story, British-Pakistani director Sarmad Masud?s debut movie portrays the moment Pakistani woman Nazo Dharejo and her two daughters defended their land from the 200 heavily armed men that sought to claim it as a part of a familial feud. The movie has been shot in guerilla style in Pakistan itself and has premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival earlier this year. As he narrates Dharejo?s story through the film, the director switches between the incident itself and the events that led up to it. The movie is based on a true story that portrays Dharejo?s strength and resolve to fight against the oppressive and often violent patriarchal system that most Pakistani women face throughout their lives. My Pure Land is a drama that is both tense and claustrophobic; it is a new spin on the most classic genres in film.
  19. Photo: Indian Express Alia Bhatt is all set to appear in Meghna Gulzar?s movie based on Harinder Sikka?s book ?Calling Sehmat.? Vicky Kaushal will play the male lead opposite her in Raazi. Bhatt will play a Kashmiri girl married to a Pakistani army officer in this intelligence thriller, which is set during the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. The role is different from the ones Bhatt has played in the past, and it appears as if she has worked hard to get into character. Fans have gotten to see sneak peeks of her look for the movie on Instagram. When asked about how her shoot is progressing, she said, ?I won?t lie. Yes, it has been very challenging. The shooting [of the film] is still on, and I still have a month left [before its completion]. We have been shooting in almost a non-stop manner, barring a few days when the shoot got disrupted [due to the recent unrest in the region].? She continued to say, ?But overall, it has been a good and an interesting journey ? creatively as well as mentally. I am in Patiala right now, and I feel that when you are shooting outdoors, it?s always lovely because you are only with your film dedicating all your energies and attention to it. Plus, it?s lovely being in Patiala.? Discussing her role, Bhatt shared, ?I?m going through one of the most extensive preparations for this film. The last time I did something like this was for Udta Punjab. But that also was only with the dialect.? The young actress also said, ?Raazi is about dialect, body language and things like driving a big heavy jeep? Shifting those gears is a different ball game for me altogether. I am learning Urdu so it?s also going to help me in the longer run. I?m playing with the language for over a month now and every day, I am sitting with it for hours. I know most of my dialogues by heart right now because I have been reading them over and over again. I am having a lot of fun with it.?
  20. Christian Bale is back and like a good penny this time with his new western release, 'Hostiles', which just came out on the 2nd of this month. 'Hostiles', a sorrowful and action packed Western is set amidst beauty, revenge and tears. The film highlights the Native American resistance in the 1890's. © Geek Tyrant This Scott Cooper drama resolves around a respectful army general (Christian Bale) who is tasked with escorting a Native American chief across hostile territory, post his civil war years. Rosamund Pike who plays Rosalee Quaid is settler who loses her family to Comanche renegades. They murder her husband and shoot her daughters and her infant son and the movie grows from there when Rosalee carries her lifeless children in her arms for days. That's the grim and gripping reality of Cooper's underpinnings of the Western genre. The characters fall through beautifully and connect on increasingly bold strokes of compassion and resentment all put together. The group of men along with Bale, escorting the American Native chief, finally come to where Pike's house was burned down and find her tightly clutching the dead bodies of her children. That's when Bale makes an executive decision to escort the helpless, shivering woman to safety. The film eventually revolves around the group facing many challenges as they walk together in the wild-wild west, one of them being the engaging masculinity all the male characters display, where the men have to be men with heaving deep voices, silent eyes and wounded hearts. The director however has tried to romanticise violence through a lot of blood and gore. The characters are shot, gutted and hanged at every given scene and they aren't really given a chance to put up a good fight, throughout. Although, each character has a well defined role and the selection of actors for the film is justified, the film too beautiful unfolds along the Western land of opportunities and bad fate, presumably. The film beautifully introduces Bale's character as a staunch patriot, who has nothing left to show for his patriotism from the past, except a bitter view of prevalent human condition in which mindlessly killing one another is the way of life. © Youtube The film is more suited for Western movie connoisseurs than for younger audiences as its more contemplative and serious and not really something that'll keep you at the edge of your 400 rupee seat. Watch it for the thrill of the long lost west, in any case. Check out the awesome trailer below:

  22. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Welcome' has been creating a buzz in B-town ever since it was announced. Not only it is his dream project but he has also roped in amazing actors like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor to play the main characters. While Deepika plays the titular role, Shahid as her husband Raja Rawal Singh and Ranveer, on the other hand, will be seen donning a grey avatar and playing Alauddin Khilji. We all know how passionate the actor is about portraying his character flawlessly and as per the latest news it looks like he is leaving no stone unturned to do justice to his role. (c) Twitter This time is no different. While shooting a scene with Raza Murad, something happened that went viral within no time. The senior actor was supposed to slap Ranveer in a scene but pleasing Sanajy Leela Bhansali ain't that easy! Known for his perfection, SLB went on from retakes to retakes and it was only on the 24th slap that he felt content with the footage that was captured and gave his nod. In fact, when one of the Hindi newspapers covered that news, the actor took to twitter and shared the story stating, “True Story!” True story! ð¤ð¾ #Padmavati — Ranveer Singh (@RanveerOfficial) September 2, 2017 We can definitely see Ranveer doing everything possible to perfectly get into the skin of his character but then you can't accept anything less from a stunning actor like him. We already vouch for the fact that he will ace his role as Allauddin Khilhji. Earlier talking about his role, the actor shared, "What a guy! Can't believe he does the things he does, he is an appalling human being. You can't even call him a human being, call him a ‘haivaan'. You would love to hate him. You will be like, ‘I hate this person how can he be this way, how can anybody be this way, is there no compassion.' He's a hard guy.” (c) Twitter The more we hear about this magnum historic drama, the more we can't help but get excited about the film.

  24. Since the day of its release, Akshay Kumar's ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' has been smashing records and the fact that it has already entered the Rs. 100 crore club further crowns this movie as the king of box office for this year. The unusual yet quirky concept was welcomed with open arms by the audience and hopefully struck the right chord with people, although his wife Twinkle Khanna's recent post shows a different story. Having said that, although we don't know how much of an impact the movie managed to have on humans, doggos seem to be super impressed by the movie, so much so that they have unleashed the ultimate level of toilet training. Look who's a good boy! #ToiletTraining 101 — Akshay Kumar (@akshaykumar) August 27, 2017 Recently, Akshay Kumar posted this tweet where a dog not only peed in the commode but also flushed it after finishing his business. While we can't take our eyes off this adorably smart dog, we also can't stop thinking about his owner who trained him to such perfection. In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Damon said “It's great to have stars like Akshay and films like ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' spotlighting the open defecation crisis, as it helps to drive more awareness of not only the issues but also what can be done to tackle this and create change.” In fact, Damon too has been actively addressing the issue of open defecation on a global level, through his non-profit organization
