  1. Name- Akash Saxena I have always been athletic. I was a sportsman back in school and fairly active even when I undertook an infamous corporate job. However, when we launched GetSetGo Fitness, our own online Fitness company, things took a turn for worse. Like every person who uses work as an excuse to sideline fitness, I took the liberty to tell myself – you can't do much about it, buddy. There's no time! Work was hectic indeed. The whole team was grinding. I stayed glued to my chair, being the CTO myself, staring into my laptop at least 15 hours a day was something normal for me. I had started smoking again. Late night strategic discussions that stretched up to 4:00 or 5:00 AM in the morning had become commonplace. © Akash Saxena Then came the moment of realization! On one of the rare afternoons when I could squeeze in some time for a quick shower, I was shocked. I turned back after drawing my clothes from my closet and there was the most dreaded sight – that belly sticking out of my torso. Now, I have been really skinny in the past but never ever have I been skinny-fat. Yet, here I was. While I was quite disturbed, I was not really scared. Those who know me will testify that I have a pretty strong will. I knew if I got back to the grind, I would lock it down. But that meant spending hours in the gym running on the treadmill, lifting some weights, cutting outside food and eating clean, home-cooked food. On an average day, this would have been a breeze. But right now, I could not afford to dedicate 3-4 hours a day to fitness. I shared my dilemma with my wife – Shraddha. She is the CEO and a coach at GetSetGo Fitness. Surprisingly, the solution was the pitch that she presents to her clients. She asked me to make a lifestyle change and not see this as a crash course. She told me that a diet should be sustainable and customized to my lifestyle, not only to a goal. I was like – What, really? Save this for your clients. I want a quick fix, lady. But as we all know – wives are always right! I followed her guidance and here I am. © Akash Saxena This is precisely what she prescribed. She made it really simple for me: • A custom 3 days a week work out that lasted 40 minutes • A diet plan that was flexible enough to fit into my regime and had enough calories to get me going through a hectic day • A list of healthy restaurant food, because cooking at home was not always an option I stuck to it like a snail would to the edge of the blade. Being the classic ectomorph that I am, results followed sooner than I expected. I did not make any significant muscle gain, but within 2 months, I finally morphed into a shape that I loved! And since then, I have stayed away from the yo-yo approach.
  2. Following Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's dream wedding in Italy last December, there has not been a single day when the couple did not break the internet with their antics. Be it their larger than life two-part wedding reception in Delhi and Mumbai, Virat learning a trick or two about romance from Shah Rukh Khan, the couple inviting their special Sri Lankan fan to the party or Virushka setting the dance floor on fire with their crazy dance moves; their wedding was nothing short of a big banner film that the whole nation happily binged on. © Instagram Now the celebrations are over and the couple has resumed their respective work, but what stays behind are the sweet gestures they are showing towards each other and winning their fans' hearts in the process. Virat is currently in South Africa slaying the test series like a true boss and if giving a tough time to his opponents on the field wasn't enough, Virat is also making all the husbands in the world burn with jealousy, by taking home the best husband award. © Twitter Virat is currently in his best form and undoubtedly one of the best cricketers in the team right now and his killer form against South Africa only goes on to prove the same. It was the second session of Day 3 and Kohli went past 150 after hitting a boundary on Morne Morkel's delivery. This was definitely a major triumph, both for Kohli and Team India and Virat made sure that he does not let this milestone pass by just like that. Kohli took this opportunity to express his love for the leading lady in his life Anushka, by kissing the wedding ring that he hangs around his neck on a chain. HE IS KISSING THE RING, the ring that Anushka gave him. He has it around his neck and HE IS KISSING IT. This is what we girls want, this is love and respect and utter devotion to the woman he married. What's more, with this score, Kohli has become the second Indian captain after Sachin Tendulkar to hit a century in South Africa. While, Kohli is flooring us all with his exceptional performance on the field, Anushka is set to floor us with her acting prowess off the field. Currently, the actress is busy with her upcoming film 'Zero' alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif and we have already seen a glimpse of her next flick 'Pari' which is slated for a March 2nd release.

  5. On the back of a sensational home season, the Indian cricket team embarked on a new journey as they took the long road to South Africa which marks the beginning of the gruelling away tours this year. The contest between India and South Africa - currently ranked no. 1 and 2 respectively in Tests - was always going to be exciting as the visitors aimed to improve their poor record in the Rainbow Nation. To the sheer pleasure of the fans, India got off to a roaring start, taking three wickets in quick succession. However, resistance from AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis and Keshav Maharaj helped the hosts amass 286 runs in the first innings. Following a decent bowling performance, Team India was counting on their star-studded batting line-up to back them up, but what eventually unfolded in their first innings was probably not worthy of their world no. 1 tag. AP At the end of first day's play, India had lost their top three batsmen after Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli were all sent back to the hut for a mediocre score. Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma did hold the fort for the visitors but it wasn't for too long. Soon, the Indian team found itself reeling by a loss of seven wickets at just 92 runs. While the Indian cricketers were faltering on the field, their wives and girlfriends (WAGs) - cheering from the stands - did turn up the heat at the Newlands stadium in Cape Town. From Anushka Sharma to Ayesha Mukherjee, the WAGs of Indian stars didn't have much to cheer for, but they still cheered on for the team in a bid to motivate them. The girls gang of the ICT!! 6. After enjoying a great run at home, the Indian cricket team will embark on a new challenge when they lock horns with South Africa in a gruelling series involving three Tests, six ODIs and three T20 Internationals slated to begin from 5 January. But, even before the highly-anticipated series begins, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has already got off to a bad start. While all the other Team India members and their families have reportedly reached Cape Town - where the first Test match is scheduled to be played, Dhawan's wife Ayesha Mukherjee and his kids were not allowed to board the flight for South Africa from Dubai. © Instagram/shikhardofficial It seems that Dhawan's family was not allowed to board the flight by the airline after they failed to produce the birth certificates of their children. And, for those who know Dhawan, would have probably anticipated what happened next. The left-hander went hammer and tongs at the airline (Emirates) slamming their unprofessional behaviour in a series of angry tweets. "Absolutely unprofessional from @emirates. Was on my way 2 SA with my fam & was told tht my wife and kids can't board the flight from Dubai to SA. The FO was responding to criticism from the Indian government which claimed that cultural and religious sensibilities were disregarded due to security. "This included removal of mangal sutra, bangles and bindi, as well as a change in attire that was not warranted by security," said India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Chetankul Jadhav, the wife of the convicted Indian spy, was given an alternate pair of shoes to wear. According to the FO, Chetankul's shoes were taken over after authorities felt there was something fixed in them. The shoes of Jadhav?s wife were kept for inspection, while all other belongings, including jewelry, was returned, confirm FO Spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal. Authorities were ascertaining whether the metallic object in the shoe was a camera or a recording chip, added the FO. Jadhav?s wife Chentankul and mother Avanti reached Pakistan on Monday to meet him at the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad. It was also reported that Chetankul and Avanti were asked to wash their faces wash away any makeup they were wearing. They were also asked to remove whatever jewelry they were wearing. The roads leading to the Foreign Office building were closed for traffic for the meeting. Walkthrough gates were also installed outside the FO building amid strict security measures. Commander Jadhav ? an on-duty Indian navy officer working for Indian covert agency Research and Analysis Wing ? was arrested on March 3, 2016, from Balochistan, after he entered into Pakistan from Iran. He has been convicted of espionage and sabotage activities.
  8. Kulbhsuan Jadhav's mother and wife pictured at Pakistan Foreign Office on Dec 25, 2017 NEW DELHI: The mother and wife of spy Kulbhushan Jadhav met with India?s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj here on Tuesday. The meeting with Swaraj was held a day after Jadhav?s mother Avanti Jadhav and wife Chetankul met him at Pakistan?s Foreign Office in Islamabad. According to reports in the Indian media, the meeting was held at Swaraj?s residence following which Jadhav?s mother and wife were taken to the Ministry of External Affairs for a debriefing. Pakistan?s Foreign Office spokesperson, Dr Mohammad Faisal in a news conference after Jadhav had met his family said consular access had not been granted. Elaborating on the meeting, Faisal said an Indian diplomat was present during the meeting but was not allowed to speak or listen in to the conversation between the convicted spy and his family, and could only observe the meeting. "We upheld our promise and all of our commitments. The meeting was promised for 30 minutes and was extended to 40 minutes after Jhadav requested 10 minutes more, hence we increased it." Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav?s mother, wife depart for India after meeting at FO Family of the arrested spy arrived in Pakistan earlier today "The meeting was very present and they talked openly. I will not go into further details. We also had an officer present," added Faisal. Faisal clarified that the meeting was not the last meeting between Jhadav and his family, adding that the decision for consular access to the convicted spy would be taken at a later date. Jadhav alias Hussein Mubarak Patel, was arrested on March 3, 2016 in a ?counter-intelligence operation? from Mashkel area of Balochistan for his involvement in espionage and sabotage activities in Pakistan. The incarcerated RAW agent, in his video statement, confessed to involvement in sabotage and espionage inside Pakistan, which has also been the crux of Islamabad?s case in the ICJ. On April 10, a Field General Court Martial ? under the Pakistan Army Act, 1952, and Official Secrets Act, 1923 ? awarded death sentence to Jadhav for espionage and sabotage. Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa ratified the sentencing by the army tribunal. Jadhav has since been on the death row.
  9. Mashaal Malik, wife of detained Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik. Photo: File ISLAMABAD: Mashaal Malik, wife of detained Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik, has questioned India over doing all-out efforts for its spy Kulbushan Jadhav while she has been kept from meeting her husband for over three years. In a recent video message, Mashaal expressed reservations over India not making efforts for their meeting, despite being a country that talks the most about democracy. She said it has been over three years now since she and her daughter met Yasin, a Hurriyat leader detained in Indian-occupied Kashmir. Mashaal added her husband was part of a ?great struggle? and added that she believed Kashmiris will get the fruit of their struggle. Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav?s mother, wife depart for India after meeting at FO Family of the arrested spy arrived in Pakistan earlier today She started her message with paying tribute to Mohammad Ali Jinnah, citing a quote from American author, John C Maxwell, ?A leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way?. Mashaal said the saying fit well for Quaid-e-Azam for the way he won Pakistan, adding that people should walk in his footsteps and follow his teachings. Earlier in the day, Jadhav met his mother and wife who had flown in from India after they were granted permission. The meeting was held at the Foreign Office in Islamabad.
  10. ISLAMABAD: The mother and wife of arrested Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav arrived in Pakistan on Monday to meet him at the Foreign Office. According to itinerary details obtained by Geo News, Jadhav?s mother and wife flew in to Islamabad via Dubai. They will meet him today and leave the same day. Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh will also be present at the meeting between Jadhav and his family, which will last 30 minutes, according to the Foreign Office spokesperson. The roads leading from and to the Foreign Office building have been closed to traffic ahead of the meeting. Commander Jadhav ? an on-duty Indian navy officer working for Indian covert agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) ? was arrested on March 3, 2016, from Balochistan, after he entered into Pakistan from Iran. He has been convicted of espionage and sabotage activities. Kulbhushan Jadhav has not been given consular access: FO Pakistan Foreign Office said in a statement Monday that arrested Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav has not been given consular access. Clarifying earlier reports in the media, the Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said the presence of Indian diplomat during the scheduled meeting between Jadhav and his family does not mean Jadhav has been given Indian consular access. Arrested Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, during his appearance on Geo News' programme 'Naya Pakistan' earlier, had said that India had been given consular access to the convicted spy, describing it as a "concession." He had added that Pakistan had allowed Jadhav's meeting with his mother and wife purely on "humanitarian grounds." Noting that Jadhav's case is sub judice in the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the minister had said they were also advised to allow the meeting. "We didn't want any weakness in our case in the ICJ over the meeting." On Saturday, Indian authorities had shared the itinerary of Jadhav's family. India shares itinerary of Jhadav?s family with Pakistan: FO Pakistan had earlier issued an ultimatum to India to submit travelling details of the spy's wife, mother "India informs that the mother and wife of Commander Jadhav will arrive by commercial flight on 25 Dec and leave the same day. Indian DHC in Islamabad will be the accompanying diplomat," Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal had said on Twitter. Pakistani authorities had earlier issued an ultimatum to India, stating that it would be difficult to arrange a meeting between Jadhav and his family (wife and mother) if the itinerary of the latter was not shared with Pakistan. ICJ proceedings On April 10, 2017, Pakistan sentenced the RAW agent to death for carrying out espionage and sabotage activities in Balochistan and Karachi. In a reaction to the move, Pakistan?s relations with neighbouring India tensed, and New Delhi approached the ICJ to hear the case. On May 18, the ICJ ordered Pakistan to halt the execution of Jadhav until a final decision was made in the proceedings. India then moved the ICJ to give it six months to file pleadings in the case, which the United Nations? judicial organ had turned down in June this year. Later, New Delhi submitted its memorial (arguments) to the ICJ on September 13. On December 13, Pakistan submitted its reply to the ICJ, dismissing India's stance in the case of the convicted spy. In its counter-memorial, Pakistan stated that Jadhav is not an ordinary person as he had entered the country with the intent of spying and carrying out sabotage activities. The reply also stated that Jadhav, who was a serving officer of the Indian Navy, does not fall under the purview of the Vienna Convention. The case remains sub judice. Arrest, confession, sentencing Jadhav alias Hussein Mubarak Patel, was arrested on March 3, 2016 in a ?counter-intelligence operation? from Mashkel area of Balochistan for his involvement in espionage and sabotage activities in Pakistan. Pakistan Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, during his appearance on Geo News' programme 'Naya Pakistan', confirmed that India has been given consular access to the convicted spy, describing it as a "concession." He said that Pakistan allowed Jadhav's meeting with his mother and wife purely on "humanitarian grounds." Noting that Jadhav's case is sub judice in the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the minister said they were also advised to allow the meeting. "We didn't want any weakness in our case in the ICJ over the meeting." On Saturday, Indian authorities shared the itinerary of Jadhav's family. Indian DHC in Islamabad will be the accompanying diplomat," Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said on Twitter earlier.
  12. ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office (FO) on Thursday said that the country is ready to permit media interaction with the wife and mother of convicted Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav. FO Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal added that the ministry is waiting for India's decision in this regard. Elaborating further, the spokesperson said the meeting would be held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and would take place on December 25. Answering a question on the possible immediate execution of the convicted spy and this being his last meeting with his family, the spokesperson assured that Jadhav is under no threat of immediate execution and his mercy petitions are still pending. "The mother and wife of Commander Jhadev are being provided with a meeting with him in the light of Islamic traditions and based on purely humanitarian grounds," said the FO. The visa applications of Jadhav?s mother and wife had been received by the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi on December 16 for their visit visa on humanitarian grounds. The spy, who was an on-duty officer for the Indian Navy, confessed to his crimes in a recorded video statement televised by the army last year following his arrest. While Virat Kohli was busy tying the nuptial knot with Anushka Sharma in Italy, his dear friend and teammate Rohit Sharma was given the responsibility to lead the Indian cricket team during the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against Sri Lanka. Photo: The Globe and Mail TORONTO: Canadian police said they are investigating the mysterious deaths of the billionaire founder of Canadian pharmaceutical firm Apotex Inc, Barry Sherman, and his wife, Honey, who were found dead in their Toronto mansion on Friday. The two were found dead after police responded to a medical call just before noon (1700 GMT) at their home in an affluent section of northeast Toronto. ?The circumstances of their death appear suspicious and we are treating it that way,? said Constable David Hopkinson. Homicide detectives later told reporters gathered outside the home that there were no signs of forced entry. Two bodies covered in blankets were removed from the home and loaded into an unmarked van on Friday evening. The property is listed for sale for nearly C$7 million ($5.4 million). Sherman, 75, founded privately held Apotex in 1974. He stepped down as chief executive in 2012, but remained as executive chairman. Forbes has estimated his net worth at $3.2 billion. Apotex employs 11,000 people and is the world?s seventh largest generic drugmaker, according to its website. Toronto Mayor John Tory said in statement that he was ?shocked and heartbroken? to learn of the deaths, and noted the couple had made extensive contributions to the city. ?Toronto Police are investigating, and I hope that investigation will be able to provide answers for all of us who are mourning this tremendous loss,? he said. Other politicians echoed that sentiment. ?I am beyond words right now,? Ontario health minister Eric Hoskins said in a tweet.?My dear friends Barry and Honey Sherman have been found dead. 17. The America dream is just as much desirable as it is difficult to achieve. When the number one country in the world calls, you either answer or regret not answering. Anything can happen in America, anything. This dream caught hold of the Indian population in the 80s and 90s and still lives on robustly in 2017. Thousands of Indians make their way into the American mainland every year and are ready to sell their souls to the devil to live the American Dream. But there are always people who value their relationships more than the money and the fame they accumulate. Microsoft's Indian CEO Satya Nadella is one such person. This is the incredible story of the sacrifice he made, for the woman he loved. © Youtube In 1992, Nadella married his wife Anu. While everything seemed sunny, a shock was coming the couple's way and they weren't prepared for it. At the time of their marriage, Nadella held a green card in America. The couple thought that they'd reunite in the US after their marriage in India but American laws, as complicated and unreasonable they are, started creating problems. When Nadella applied for his wife's spouse VISA, it was repeatedly rejected. She could visit him on a tourist VISA but couldn't stay for an extended period of time. The Risk That Made Him The Man Who Gave Up His Green Card © YouTube Tired of the back and forth with American laws, Nadella approached Microsoft's immigration lawyers. Yes, he's been long with Microsoft for that long. The lawyers looked seriously into the case and came up with a solution that would either untie Nadella and Anu or completely crush his American Dream. They advised him to surrender his green card and apply for a H1-8 aka skilled workers VISA. Unlike a green card, an H1-B VISA is temporary and needs to be renewed but H1-B holders can bring their spouse to America without waiting, unlike green card holders. Told you, American laws are too damn complicated. Since his wife was his first priority, he went into the Indian Embassy in 1994 and gave up his green card and applied for a H1-B VISA. Luckily everything worked out and Nadella got a H1-B VISA and finally reunited with his wife after 2 long years. Nadella is today the famed CEO of one of world's biggest tech conglomerates and yes, he holds a green card as well. After this absurdly brave move, he was called 'The Man Who Gave Up His Green Card'. What an incredible story!

Photo: Reuters file LONDON: The uncle of Kate Middleton, Britain?s Duchess of Cambridge, behaved "like a nasty drunk" when he hit his wife during a late-night argument last month, a magistrate said on Tuesday. Gary Goldsmith, 52, was given a community order and told to attend 20 sessions of rehabilitation after admitting assaulting his wife, 47. He was also fined 5,000 pounds ($6,650). Westminster magistrates court heard Goldsmith and his wife Julie-Ann were both drunk and were arguing on the doorstep of their Marylebone home after arriving back in a taxi from a night out in the early hours of the morning. When his wife slapped him, Goldsmith hit her in the face and she fell down, hitting her head on the paving and briefly losing consciousness. After the taxi-driver, who had seen the incident, got out of his cab and approached him, Goldsmith squared up to him"You were not immediately remorseful at what you had done despite your wife?s obvious distress," Chief Magistrate Emma Arbuthnot told him. "In short, that night you were acting like a nasty drunk - not the happy drunk your friends or you describe." Goldsmith is the younger brother of Carole Middleton, the mother of the Duchess of Cambridge, wife of Prince William, the second-in-line to the throne.

  20. Back in 1882, when Australia recorded their first Test win on English soil after beating England at The Oval, a satirical obituary was published in a British daily - The Sporting Times. The obituary took a dig at English cricket team, claiming it had died and "the body will be cremated and the ashes taken to Australia". Since then, the mythical ashes has gone to become one of the most exciting and gruelling contests in international cricket. The environment is electric, the contest is closely-fought and the intensity is at an all-time high. But, what makes Ashes one of the biggest contests in the sport, is the quality of cricket on the back of some friendly banter. But, fast-forward to the 2017-18 Ashes series, and you'd realise how far this old cricket rivalry has come from its premise. There has been a great increase in the level of competition with a new crop of stars looking to make an impact. But, in the present day scenario, cricket seems to have taken a back seat with trash-talking and insults flying around. Reuters The build-up to the ongoing Ashes series has been classic case showing how current and even former players feel it's utmost important to intimidate each other by getting into their skin with words. But, how far is too far? That's exactly the question we left asking when the Barmy Army - a boisterous group of travelling English supporters - targetted Australian vice-captain, David Warner. Instagram/@candywarner1 The notorious fan group is infamous for rattling the opposition players with insults and vulgar chants from the stands. But, this time - thanks to the vocally chaotic build-up - they seem to have attained the license to go an extra mile. And, that's what the Warners and fans across the globe witnessed they used David's wife Candice to rattle the Aussie opener. Instagram/@candywarner1 The Barmy Army have posted the lyrics to some of their more offensive anthems where one song, in particular, makes reference to David and his wife Candice, highlighting her infamous toilet tryst in a Sydney bar with New Zealand rugby star Sonny Bill Williams. Instagram/@candywarner1 "Davie Warner is over the hill, Came second to Sonny Bill," the chant goes. The horrific insult is bound to infuriate the Warners and could prove particularly humiliating to Candice who is often seen attending her husband's matches with their two young daughters Ivy Mae and Indi Rae. Instagram/@candywarner1 "I wasn't in a state where I didn't know what happened, but you don't think of how your actions, when you're drunk, can have an effect on your life," Candice said of the infamous incident where she allegedly had *** with Sonny in a toilet cubicle at the Clovelly Hotel in 2008. Instagram/@candywarner1 Apart from his wife, Warner was also laughed at for his bar incident in 2013. Sharing a few drinks with Joe Root, Warner lost his cool and punched the England star after the latter reportedly held a wig to his face and mocked South Africa's Hashim Amla who is a close friend of the Oz batsman. "He'll only pick a fight with men in a wig, When he opens his gob, We think he's a kn*******b, With Root our captain we'll take the urn home," the Barmy Army anthem reads. The rivalry between Australia and England has always been fiery with a bit of a banter every now and then. But, over the years and especially in this series, the focus on cricket has gone down while the insults are getting more brutal and obscene - something which is not worthy of any series, let alone the hallowed Ashes.

While speaking to The Mirror, Amir said the whole situation seemed ?silly? to him. ?...starting with the texts, then when I accused her of messaging Joshua, it was all just nonsense really from the start.? Amir had accused Faryal of cheating with heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Besides, the couple had been having issues for some time, with Faryal claiming Amir slept with other women and was not a good role model. However, Amir has said, they sat down to speak over the matter and decided they had to fix the issue for their kids, three-year-old Lamaisah and the one who has yet to be born as Faryal is pregnant. Amir Khan takes mansion off the market after reconciliation with wife The mansion was listed for £1.6 million Amir called it a wake-up call, saying he was wrong to put his life on social media. ?I assumed things which were wrong. 22. Republican Roy Moore, along with his wife Kayla, arrives at the RSA Activity Center in Montgomery, Alabama, US, September 26, 2017. REUTERS/Marvin Gentry/Files WASHINGTON: The wife of Republican US Senate candidate Roy Moore of Alabama said on Friday her husband would not end his campaign in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations, dismissing reports about his past behaviour toward some women as political attacks. ?He will not step down,? Kayla Moore said at a news conference on the steps of the state capitol in Montgomery. ?He will not stop fighting for the people of Alabama.? The former Alabama Supreme Court chief justice?s campaign has been in turmoil since the Washington Post published a story last week detailing the accounts of three women who claim Moore pursued them while they were teenagers and he was in his 30s. More women have since spoken out with allegations of their own. Reuters has been unable to independently confirm any of the accusations. Before the allegations came to light, Moore was heavily favoured to defeat Democrat Doug Jones in the special election next month. Two polls this week showed Moore now trailing Jones. Fox News released a poll on Thursday putting Jones ahead with 50 percent to 42 percent for Moore. But Moore?s embattled candidacy also got a boost on Thursday, when the Alabama Republican Party said it would continue to support him, putting it at odds with Republican leaders in Washington who want him to withdraw. Republican Alabama Governor Kay Ivey on Friday told reporters she would vote for Moore, emphasizing the importance of keeping Republican control of the US Senate. Asked whether she believed the women accusing Moore of sexual improprieties or unwanted romantic overtures, Ivey said, ?the timing is a little curious but at the same time I have no reason to disbelieve them.? The White House has said President Donald Trump finds the allegations troubling and believes Moore should step aside if they are true. White House legislative director Marc Short on Friday said Trump previously backed Moore?s opponent, Luther Strange, in the primary contest and that Moore?s explanations ?so far have not been satisfactory?. ?At this point, we believe it is up to the people of Alabama to make a decision,? Short told CNN. ?The president chose a different candidate.? During the 2016 presidential campaign, several women went public with accusations that Trump had in the past made unwanted sexual advances or inappropriate personal remarks about them. Trump denied the accusations, accused rival Democrats and the media of a smear campaign, and went on to be elected president. Kayla Moore noted that the Washington Post endorsed Hillary Clinton over Trump in last year?s election, accusing it of being part of a concerted effort to push back against anti-establishment conservative candidates. ?All of the very same people who were attacking President Trump are also attacking us,? she said. The Post?s editorial board, which endorsed Clinton, works separately from the reporters and editors who work on news stories, as is common at most newspapers.

  25. It's always a little cringeworthy to see couples fight in public places. But, the worst thing would be if that place turned out to be an airplane, where there is literally no escape. Just stuck in a weird situation, and just watching someone else's drama. Unfortunately, this became a reality for the passengers of a Qatar Airways flight going from Doha to Bali. But, before the flight could complete its 10-hour journey, a married couple got into such a bad fight that the pilots were forced to make an emergency landing in India. So, basically what went down was that after a few drinks, a woman ended up unlocking her husband's phone using his thumbprint when he was fast asleep. First of all, snooping through someone's phone is not cool, seriously. But, as it turns out, the wife was right in not trusting her partner, as she made quite an unpleasant discovery. She found out that her husband was cheating on her and obviously she lost her mind. She, unsurprisingly, made a scene and honestly, we feel so bad for each and every single person on the flight who were now witnessing a very personal fight. Reportedly, the woman started misbehaving when the cabin crew staff tried to intervene and calm down the situation. Well, because of all that rowdiness, the pilots had no choice other than throwing the couple, and their young kid, off the flight altogether. The family was dropped off in Chennai, which is about halfway between Doha and Bali. Apparently, the woman has still a little drunk, so the authorities in Chennai kept the family at the airport until she sobered up. Later, they were put on a plane to Kuala Lumpur and taken to Doha by a connecting flight from there. To be honest, the whole thing sounds like a nightmare, especially for the woman. Just imagine finding out that your partner is cheating on you and then being stuck in an unknown place with them. Moreover, they still had another long flight before they reached back home. Refusing to go into all the details of the matter, Qatar Airways, in a statement just said, “In respect of passenger privacy we do not comment on individual cases.”
