Jurgen Klopp Is the Best Thing To Have Happened To Liverpool And These Comments Prove Why

Jurgen Klopp has reinvigorated the Liverpool squad since taking over the reins from Brendon Rodgers in 2015. He not only has the support of his players but also the fans because finally they have someone at the helm who knows how to maintain a balance between performance and growth.  As soon as he took up the mantle at Anfield, Klopp has slowly and steadily build a team which is in no ways perfect but does the job efficiently and therefore he has earned the respect of the old guard at Liverpool. Take for example the shock defeat which was dished out to the men in red after leading 3-1 at halftime. © Reuters When asked about the amateur mistake made by Loris Karius in defending the post to concede the fourth goal against Bournemouth, this is  what Klopp had to say: "If you make mistakes, you get criticised. That's life, absolutely no problem. If you have the quality you get stronger from it. I'm pretty sure Jamie Carragher was criticised during his career at some point. I respect and accept everything you say about us today. If you want to say we are blind, silly, not good enough, then do it. It doesn't influence what I think about my team. That's all,” Klopp said. He further implied that mistakes were the pathway to success and elaborated, "Of course we made mistakes today, what else should I say? We missed chances... so we don't have good strikers? We have good strikers. The last goal wasn't the luckiest situation for a keeper. Loris will wish he had made a decent save, I'd have wished for a decent save. But this says nothing about him as a goalkeeper. It has happened and we go on." © Reuters These comments by Klopp show what kind of a manager he actually is. He is hard on his players during training and he rides them to perform and give their best on the field but once the game is done, he goes back to the drawing board because no matter how much he would love to change the result of the game, the only thing under his control is the preparation for the next one. This is one of the reasons why Liverpool has looked so strong this season. They are always looking to improve are taking the season game by game. There won’t be too many surprises if they do go on to clinch the title because this is one team which has figured out how to move forward without being anchored to the results of the past.

Top 10 Hollywood Movies to Watch Before You Die

Movies have been an integral part of most of our lives. If you've spent your lifetime cribbing about never getting to watch good movies, it is the right time to visit the nearest DVD store because you won't be around for too long. 2012 is close on your heels which is why you should grab the below listed moves and be a part of the history of international cinema. Here are 10 Hollywood movies you must watch before you die. The Godfather Trilogy 'The Godfather' trilogy takes you into the world of gangsters through the combined brilliance of Francis Ford Coppola, Al Pacino and Mario Puzo. Star Quote: "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse." The Shawshank Redemption The highlight of this movie is the simplistic yet endearing take on human relationships. It might not entirely influence you to alter the way you live your life but will definitely help you realize the importance of building healthy relationships. Star Quote: "I guess it comes down to a simple choice. Get busy living or get busy dying." Fight Club This is the ultimate guy movie which shows how two men build an almost global 'organisation' of sorts for people to vent out their anger and frustration. The pulsating movement of the plot will keep you glued till the 'end of time'. Star Quote: "This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time" Raging Bull Another story of an angry young man played by the insanely talented Robert De Niro. It deals with the rise and fall of a temperamental boxer whose personal life becomes a wreck because of the same temper. Star Quote: "If you win, you win. If you lose, you still win" Pulp Fiction Believe us when we say this movie will take you on a roller-coaster ride. It revels in violence, profanity and generous use of drugs, while the speed, that is crucial to the movie, will definitely make your head spin. Watch Quentin Tarantino prove why he is the boss in making movies that almost always have a cult following. Star Quote: "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children.." Saving Private Ryan Watching this movie is bound to be a heart-breaking experience as it explores the uncharted perils of war. Also, you don't actually need a reason to watch a Steven Speilberg film starring Tom Hanks, do you? Star Quote: "I'll need a wheelchair before this war is over." Apocalypse Now Yet another movie by Francis Ford Coppola, 'Apocalypse Now' is considered by many to be the best war movie ever made. An adaptation of Joseph Conrad's novel, this movie is truly 'a vision of hell' owing to the darkness of theme and action. It is also counted amongst the best movies ever made. Star Quote: "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn’t find one of ‘em, not one stinkin’ dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like… victory. Someday this war’s gonna end…" One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest We're really hoping you've read the book. If you haven't, you probably don't know the significance of this in the list. Just like the book, the movie leaves quite an impact on the viewer. Be a art of the experience that so many people treasure, before you die. Star Quote: "Why don't ya shut your goddamn mouth and play some music?" GoodFellas Another Martin Scorsese film makes the cut. Dealing with the life of a gangster, this movie was a classic in this genre. In fact, it was considered a benchmark in the '90s and was hugely lauded in various award ceremonies. Star Quote: "As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster" The Gold Rush You cannot possibly go to your grave without watching a Charlie Chaplin movie, can you? 'The Gold Rush' is a quintessential Charlie Chaplin film, complete with some great comic and emotional moments. An added advantage of watching this movie would be that you could surely have something to discuss about in case you meet him in heaven. Star Quote: You do know Charlie Chaplin's movies were made in the silent era, right? P.S. The author has deliberately avoided the inclusion of movies like 'Star Wars', 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy, The 'Rocky' series, etc because she assumes that you've already seen this movies. Toyotaandamprsquos Research Centre Has Unveiled Their Own Self-Driving Car andamp It Looks Mighty Promising

From Uber to Google to Apple to Tesla to Ford, it seems like every tech company is now looking to develop their own self-driving car and one more car manufacturer can be added to the list. The Toyota Research Institute (TRI) has been testing their own self-driving car and it happens to the Lexus LS 600hl. The vehicle is equipped with camera arrays that assist in driving itself. In addition to the camera arrays, the car is also equipped with LIDAR radar, which works in synergy with the cameras so that it does not have to heavily rely on high-def maps. © Toyota There are two types of self-driving levels that Toyota has developed. i.e. Chauffer and Guardian. The Chauffer level is typically restricted to certain locations and areas such as cities and the highway. It also has a higher tier of self-driving levels which would enable the self-driving car to go anywhere. The other tier of the self-driving system i.e. “Guardian” will act more as a driver-assist system which will monitor the surroundings around the vehicle and alert the driver about potential hazards. The system will then step in to take control in order to avoid a crash when necessary.  © Toyota Toyota’s research suggests that “Guardian” will be available on future cars sooner than the Chauffeur. There are already similar features on other cars today such as a security feature better known as Automatic Emergency Braking.

Karan Singh Grover's Ripped White Jeans Are Flipping Us Out

KSG is a dude in the true-blue sense. You know, those ripped-jeans-wearing, denim shirt over white T-shirt over rippling muscles, hot-chick-by-his-side kinda dudes. There's nothing off the Karan in Sanjeevani left in him anymore, it's almost like Bipasha has married a re-born human. But well...we have nothing to complain. He knows how to rip the **** out of his jeans and look really sane while doing it. And these are not my words, these are words his sartorial outing uttered yesterday... ©Viral Bhayani First off, the light-blue-shirt-over-white combo is having us refreshed. Thanks to the real dudes of the country, this colour harmony will never go out of style. But again, that's not what's best here. Notice the maximized airflow in this outfit? He looks like he's in absolute ease! Of movement, fit and all in all, he knew he didn't want to take too much time dressing up today.  ©Viral Bhayani But the takeaway here isn't why you deserve these jeans. Ripped to the T jeans, we mean. Lesson here: you need to have broad shoulders like Karan's, to carry a relaxed and gigantic pair of jeans like these. If you're lanky and have the body type of a Ranbir Kapoor, you'd probably just appear hanging loose in the air.

Gautam Gambhir Comes Up With A Perfect Reply To Shahid Afridi's Comments Over Kashmir

Just like India and Pakistan, Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi share a rivalry like no other in international cricket. No one can possibly forget their explosive on-field exchange which had set the tempers soaring during the 3rd ODI between India and Pakistan at Kanpur in 2007. While Gambhir is potentially out of contention of making the Team India cut, Afridi has already called time on his career. But, despite being away from international cricket, their rivalry transcended off the field after the former Pakistani cricketer publicly claimed that he will never be seen hanging out with the Delhi opener. The present-day scenario is no different and there is no love lost between the two cricketers. On 3 April, when Afridi was battling serious backlash from the Indians following his insensitive comments on the ongoing dispute in Kashmir, the Delhi Daredevils (DD) captain wasted no time in taking a pot shot at his old nemesis. Media called me for reaction on @SAfridiOfficial tweet on OUR Kashmir & @UN. What's there to say? Afridi is only looking for @UN which in his retarded dictionary means “UNDER NINTEEN” his age bracket. Media can relax, @SAfridiOfficial is celebrating a dismissal off a no- ball!!! — Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) April 3, 2018 Taking to Twitter, Gambhir wrote: "Media called me for reaction on @SAfridiOfficial tweet on OUR Kashmir & @UN. What's there to say? Afridi is only looking for @UN which in his retarded dictionary means “UNDER NINTEEN” his age bracket. Media can relax, @SAfridiOfficial is celebrating a dismissal off a no- ball!!!". Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren't they making efforts to stop this bloodshed? — Shahid Afridi (@SAfridiOfficial) April 3, 2018 Earlier in the day, Afridi became the subject of immense criticism for his insensitive tweet about Kashmir where he labelled Indian army as an "oppressive regime". "Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren't they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?," he tweeted. Afridi's tweet was in reference to the series of counter-insurgency operations in three different areas of South Kashmir on Sunday. Indian armed forces handed a major setback to the terror groups in the Valley. A total of 12 terrorists were gunned down in what turned out to be one of the biggest counter-offensives against terrorist outfits in recent times in Kashmir. The operations rendered a severe blow to terror groups such as Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba, but it sadly came at a cost of five lives. Two civilians and three Army jawans lost their lives during the gruelling operations. While the details on how or why the two civilians were killed isn't revealed, the demise of the three Army soldiers once again highlighted the never-ending sacrifices they make to keep us safe.

The Apple App Store Makes Double The Amount Of Money As Google's Play Store

Whether you want to accept it or not, Apple's App Store is more successful than any other digital store that sells applications and games. The platform has managed to outsell its rivals such as the Google Play store and Steam.  According to a report by Sensor Tower, Apple's App Store managed to rake in $22.6 billion in worldwide gross app revenue, while the Google Play Store earned $11.8 billion.  What's interesting to note is that Apple managed to generate double the revenue with half the number of downloads.  © Sensor Tower Apple's iOS store has been consistently generating more revenue than its competition. In fact, when one compares numbers, historically Android users spend less on apps than iOS users. There could be a number of reasons for this, such as other Android app stores like the Samsung Store, the Amazon App Store, and others.  It's obvious knowledge that there are significantly more Android smartphones in the world, but Google's Play store still managed to remain behind Apple's offering. However, one should also note that Google's Play Store is not available in China, the world's largest market for smartphones.  © BCCL Last year, Apple earned $38.5 billion from the App Store while Google Play could only manage to earn $20.1 billion. Sensor Tower estimates that consumer spending has increased in 2018 by 26.8 percent on iOS, whereas it's up by 29.7 percent on Google Play.  This growth in spending may have many reasons, but it can be attributed to players like Tencent Video, Netflix, and other services. App revenues have seen a huge rise thanks to subscription services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. In fact, Netflix was 2017's top non-game app by revenue.  © PUBG Game spending is considered to have a huge chunk of the revenue, thanks to popular games such as PUBG, Fortnite, and others. Apple's App Store earned $16.3 billion from games alone, while Google Play earned $10.3 billion in 2017.  © Sensor Tower It could be argued that Apple's platform earns more due to its presence in China, however, Sensor Tower reports that even if China is removed from the equation, the App Store would have earned a 30 percent gross revenue than Google's Play store.  If you're interested to know more about Apps and its revenues, you can read the original report by Sensor Tower here (https://sensortower.com/blog/app-revenue-and-downloads-1h-2018).  Source: Sensor Tower

10 Artists You Shouldnt Miss Out On At The NH7 Weekender Shillong This Year

It kickstarts tomorrow-the suitcases are packed; some of us are already in Guwahati and the rest are on their way there. The excitement is brimming. We simply cannot wait for NH7 Weekender Shillong 2016. And what a lineup they have in store, too. Yes, it's humanly quite impossible for you to check out each and every act that's going to be happening during the two-day festival amid the quaintness of the hills. But, you can be prepared and shortlist a bunch of artists to take out time for specially. And that's where we come in. Shillong is a city that has long been due on the NH7 Weekender map and it's finally here. So, while you do get to check out the more mainstream artists at regular gigs in the metropolitan cities back home, you don't usually get to check out the lesser known ones that are equally good. That's what Weekender Shillong 2016 is for; so you get the best of the lesser-known lot. Wondering which artists are definitely worth a shot? These are on our list. Steven Wilson Ever heard of Porcupine Tree? The US Band? The song 'Lazarus'? Yeah, that's why you think Steven Wilson "looks familiar". He's actually quite the big deal. Only, this is his first in India. He's performing as part of his Hand. Cannot. Erase tour that kickstarted this month and that's how he's on the NH7 Weekender bandwagon and we (fans, that is) could not be happier. You can expect a lot of quality rock music from this guy and we would like to see him give us some Porcupine Tree throwbacks while at it. Hashtag "Can't Wait".  Vertical Horizon If you haven't heard 'Everything You Want', go listen to it right now and then come back to this. The American alternative rock band owes a lot of their following to this one song from '99, the album of the same name. Plus, they've given us hit songs like 'Best I Ever Had' and 'You're A God'. You need to listen to this the way you listen to Indie legendary musicians for feels. Wild Palms The London-based alternative band is better known by their former name, Ex-Lion Tamers. Post the name-change in 2009, they've given us two significant albums to rock out to-Over Time and Deep Dive. Wild Palms have been on a touring spree ever since their latest albums, Live Together and Eat Each Other and it's going to be one heck of an experience to hear them live and loud at the Shillong leg of Weekender; least to say, you're going to return with a refreshing playlist that I'm going to want to peek into. Parekh & Singh Closer home, we have Nishchay Parekh and Jivraj Singh who have been making waves with their latest and debut album Oceans. Precisely, one track, 'I Love You Baby, I Love You Doll' has taken the duo from Kolkata to New York and beyond. It's been a while since Nishchay gave us some sound melodies to tune into and, as an enthusiastic follower of the musician, I'm actually relieved and pleasantly impressed by the latest single that's got everyone humming in the circuit. You couldn't have not heard it, you know. Kumail Not everyone knows about Kumail Hamid, one of the most talented electronic musicians India has seen rise in recent times. It's probably because he seems to keep things pretty low key, even for an electronic artist in a country that has a relatively small circuit of such musicians. But that's exactly what intrigues you about Hamid, first off. All of 22, the Mumbai-based music producer has already released two EPs and an album, during his 6-year journey in the industry. He's one of the newer and more interesting electronic artists to look out for at Shillong this time. Dossers Urge The three-member band came under the spotlight when earlier this year they won the Road To Converse Rubber Tracks contest. The members are three brothers whose musical sensibilities are in perfect synchronization-be it punk rock, soft rock, blues or pop. If they feel the music, they create it. They're young, they have energy about their music and live performances and they're worth a watch if you want to check out the newer artists on the Weekender radar this year. Blue Temptation The Shilllong-based boy band is a favourite in the town and with Weekender as their "Other Stage", you can rest assured that their blues tracks will give you the right kind of mountain feels. A young boy band, founded in early 2010, by El Nathan Ford Nongrum, Gregory Ford Nongrum, Shepherd and Daryl Diengdoh, takes its inspirations from legends like Frank Zappa, Ray Charles, B. B King, Simon and Garfunkel and David Gilmour, amongst others. The Ritornellos When The Supersonics split, they gave rise to The Ritornellos-a Kolkata-based band that derive their musical genius from their ardent love for rock 'n' roll. The six-member band comprises of ex-The Supersonics' lead, Ananda Sen who remains the vocalist as well as Avinash Chordia who is the band's drummer. They'll be bringing down the Bacardi House Party in Shillong on Day 1 and it's absolutely not worth missing. Bipul Chettri Drawing massive influences from his grandfather, singer-songwriter, Bipul Chettri made the crowds listen up with his debut album Sketches of Darjeeling, in 2014. Ever since, he has been a voice worth keeping an ear open for. This year, he gave us his follow-up album, titled Maya and he's going to be performing at the Shillong leg of Weekender. Why you shouldn't miss him? It's pretty simple. Chettri's performances, especially international ones have been major frontliners and if there's one thing we look forward to at Weekender, it's good refreshing music for the soul. Elephant In The Elevator Amid all the sprouting talent in the Indie music scene is one other band, Elephant In The Elevator. These guys came to be in 2015 and so are fairly new on the block. However, when you listen to their music, you'll know why and how they've realized their journey thus far at such short time span.

This Chimpanzee In A North Korean Zoo Smokes 20 Cigarettes A Day And Animal Rights Activists Are Furious

You heard that right. Azalea, a 19-year-old female chimpanzee in North Korea zoo, is addicted to smoking and puffs up to 20 cigarettes a day. The chimp can even light her own cigarette using a lighter, and has already been attracting a lot of visitors to the zoo. © AP Animal rights activists are fuming at the zoo authorities over the chain smoker chimpanzee. PETA president told ‘TIME’, "How cruel to willfully addict a chimpanzee to tobacco for human amusement. Gradually, zoos are learning that spectacles like chimpanzee tea parties, elephant rides and photo ops with tiger cubs are inappropriate and exploitive, with the big question now being, why are we keeping wild animals behind bars at all?" © AP But the zoo authorities claim that the chimp doesn’t really inhale the smoke, so it’s not as harmful for her. Guess they’ve never heard of passive smoking.   We all know how chimps replicate human behaviour closely, but this went a tad too far. Clearly, we humans are a bad influence.

When it comes to looking cool, Ranbir Kapoor can (apparently) do no wrong. Not only can he rock a pair of nerdy glasses better than us, and date the women of our dreams (Deepika, Katrina et al), he also owns the best streetwear in the market (right now). Between rocker-approved Balmain jeans, oversized slogan sweatshirts, and Asymmetrical Antar Agni kurtas, and classic suede jackets—the man has the perfect body to wear EVERYTHING. For his radio interviews, the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' star was spotted wearing a custom ‘A night in Paris’ sweatshirt—which could easily pass off as a tribute to his Grandfather, Shammi Kapoor’s iconic movie of the same name. He paired his Balmain biker jeans with a plain white T-shirt, black joggers and Yeezy 350 Boost v2 kicks. Even though the Yeezys are sold-out worldwide (sob), get yourself these look-a-like sweats to recreate his look: 1. Here Are All The Details About The Anurag Kashyap Controversy And What Exactly Happened

So, Anurag Kashyap has been in the headlines a lot recently and it’s not all straight forward because there have been twists and turns daily and the controversy is just going on and on. So, here is everything you need to know about it. It all started with a tweet by Anurag Kashyap addressed to PM Modi asking him to apologise for his 2015 Pak visit. @narendramodi Sir you haven't yet said sorry for your trip to meet the Pakistani PM.. It was dec 25th. Same time KJo was shooting ADHM? Why? — Anurag Kashyap (@anuragkashyap72) October 16, 2016 @narendramodi why is it that we have to face it while you can be silent?? — Anurag Kashyap (@anuragkashyap72) October 16, 2016 His intention was to support Karan Johar on the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and indirectly react on the ban on Pakistani artists. His stance backfired and twiterrati was furious. Anurag being the chilled out guy that he is, he didn’t react to any of the hate but when a media personnel tried to approach him to get a word on the issue, he leaked the screenshot of the WhatsApp chat with the media person and the screenshot even included the person’s number. He gave this vague caption to the image ‘There is the media outside my house when I am not there ….looking for headline’.  Later on, he deleted the post and clarified his initial tweet with this Facebook post:

The Stronger You Are The Bigger You Are andamp Heres How To Build Raw Strength

A lot of lifters, in the pursuit of aesthetics, ignore strength developing routines. Lifting heavy is not an invitation to injuries, unless of course, if you act like a douchebag and ego lift. But let me put it straight to you: the stronger you’re, the bigger you’re. Strength is a catalyst for the muscle growth reaction and the heavier you can lift, the more muscles you can stimulate. To be honest, nothing beats being BAD-ASS strong. If you’re a beginner you’ll automatically gain strength with each passing day in the gym. But if you’re a lifter who’s past the new-bee gains, you certainly need a concrete path to strength gains. In this article, I’m going to present you a very simple strength periodization protocol by Eric Helms that you can apply in your current training routine. This technique is primarily intended to enhance your strength in compound movements. Key terms to understand: Volume: It is the total work load you perform. Volume=Set x Reps RPE (Rate of pursued exertion): It is basically the measurement of how intense/hard a set was for your muscles. Let’s assume your current best on the bench press is 70kg load for 8 REPS at a RPE of 8 i.e. 2 reps shorter of failure. Here’s how applying this periodization technique you can grow your strength. Week 1 We will do every set of bench press with 70kg load for 8 reps. The last set might take you close to failure as fatigue kicks in. Set Reps Load (in kgs) RPE 1 8 70 8 2 8 70 8 3 8 70 8-9 Week 2: Micro Load Increment © Bodybuilding This week you need to increase a micro load 1.25 kg or 2.5 kg whatever you can progress with. You will notice that we have decreased the overall volume by decreasing the reps but that is necessary in order to make steady improvement in strength. Set Reps Load (in kgs) RPE 1 7 72.5 8 2 7 72.5 8 3 7 72.5 8-9 Week 3: Micro load increment or maintain same loads This week we cut back on the volume again to make a step forward on the strength gains. Increase the load by a micro-load that you can handle not necessary 2.5 Kg it can be less or slightly more. Set Reps Load (in kgs) RPE 1 6 75 8 2 6 75 8-9 3 6 75 8-9 Week 4: Increase load and intensity Set Reps Load (in kgs) RPE 1 5 77.5 9-10 2 5 77.5 9-10 3 5 77.5 9-10 Week 5: De-load week This week we cut back on the volume aggressively by decreasing the reps and sets. We also decrease the loads because it is necessary to give our muscles and central nervous system a period to recover and eradicate the fatigue developed. This is what a de-load week is. Set Reps Load (in kgs) RPE 1 7 70 7-8 2 7 70 7-8 Week 6 Set Reps Load (in kgs) RPE 1 8 75 8 2 8 75 8-9 3 8 75 8-9 So, you can see we how we started from 70kg as our load for 8 reps on the bench press at a RPE of 8 and improved it to 75kg. The strength gains you make following this protocol can even be more depending how good your diet and rest is. Whether you’re planning to smash it at Supersonic in Pune, chug beer at Nh7 or chill against the amazing backdrop of Alsisar Palace at Magnetic Fields Festival—your festival backpack should be packed with clothes that strike a fine balance between functional and cool. Clueless In The Gym? This Beginnerandamprsquos Training Guide Will Help You

If there’s one thing done terribly wrong in the Indian gyms, it has the way beginners are made to train. For a beginner every workout session is a huge shock to the body. Making them train 5-6 days a week is like surviving nuclear fallout. If you’re a beginner, follow the guidelines in this article and make the best of your newbie gains. Training frequency © Thinkstock I have already talked about why training every muscle group twice per week is vital for muscle growth. For a beginner, it is even more important to train every muscle twice in order to get accustomed with the movements of various exercises. To perform a movement precisely, your central nervous systems needs to learn it and to learn anything, you need to practise it more often. Therefore, the bro split (Monday-chest, Tuesday-Back………) training every muscle group once per week doesn’t make any sense.    The Fundamental Movements © Bodybuilding Muscle building is not entirely about the work load you perform. But another key factor for muscular hypertrophy is progressive overload.  You need to get better at the work you’re performing and as a beginner, if you’re spending a lot of time on accessory movements like skull-crushers, cable cross overs and etc you will not learn the fundamental movements like pressing, pull downs, rows, dead lifts, squats, lunges, curls and press downs. Once your newbie phase is over, you will not be able to make progress with the weights. With poor form you can only make limited progress in the weights you lift. Therefore, the first 6-9 months of your training focus completely on learning the fundamental movements correctly. Beginner Training Program Below is a beginner’s training program, which I give to my clients having fairly lesser lifting experience. You will be training each muscle group twice per week, concentrating primarily on the fundamentals movements and you will get optimal rest to recover. It might seem too less to some of you. But it is augmented according to a beginner’s body and I’ve made people lose fat and build muscle with this. Day 1 Upper Body Excerise Sets Reps Incline bench barbell press 3 10 Barbell rows 4 10 Pec Deck Flies 3 12 Lat Pull Downs 3 12 Bicep Curls 3 15 Day 2 Lower Body Excerise Sets Reps Barbell Squats 3 10 Romanian Deadlifts 3 10 Lunges 3 12 Day 3 , Day 4 Rest Day 5 Upper Body Excerise Sets Reps Pull-ups 3 8 If you can’t do pull ups: Lat Pull Downs 4 10 Decline barbell bench press 3 10 Seated cable rows 4 12 Barbell over head presses 3 10 Pec Deck Flies 3 12 Cable Push Downs 3 15 Day 6 Lower Body Excerise Sets Reps Barbell Squats 3 10 Romanian Deadlifts 3 10 Leg Press 4 15 Day 7 Rest And yes, couple this with proper nutrition and you will reach your goals efficiently and at a steady pace.  Yash Sharma is a former national level Football Player, physique Athlete & personal trainer. This Artists Powerful Illustration Brings Out A Very Uncomfortable Truth Behind Our Plush Everyday Lives

Ever looked at a swanky building, a hotel or a mall, being constructed—the labourers toiling it out in the harsh sun, lifting heavy material on their lanky shoulders, sweat dripping down their muscular yet malnourished bodies tanned from being too much in the sun. When the mall or the plush hotel is done, a security guard is positioned at the entry. Those very people, with their tattered clothes, dishevelled hair, and sunken cheeks are not allowed to enter. The labourers worked to raise a building for a price, and they keep paying it forever. That’s how the world works and capitalism functions. It’s sad, it’s a bitter pill the working class swallows every day. Artist Daniel Garcia came up with a brilliant illustration titled ‘Your Own Personal Slaves’ that points to the oppression and modern form of slavery that works to make our comfortable everyday lives possible.  © Facebook From the coffee we drink to the clothes we wear, hundreds of poor hands work tirelessly to make it happen. We pride ourselves in the lifestyle we have earned for us; we flaunt our clothes and our cars, but we never realise that it’s actually the less fortunate who are actually behind those flawless pieces. The modern consumers, even if unknowingly so, end up being a reason why workers, especially in the third world countries, work in deplorable conditions with a pay that hardly justifies the hard work they do.  Sometime back, a report by Amnesty International revealed the horrific working conditions in Democratic Republic of Congo where workers, many of them underage, mine minerals used in smartphones. A documentary by Pulizter Center showed how young children in Congo are forced to work in mines in sub-human conditions, risking their health and lives itself.  © Reuters This is the sad paradox of our modern lives—we are consumers of luxury and technology, and even if we are sympathetic towards the plight of those less privileged, we might inadvertently be contributing to their misery. Daniel’s illustration is a stark reminder of that paradox and it is important that we spread the message.  To see more of his work, check out his Facebook page or visit his website here. What's surprising and sad is that the illustration has been banned by Facebook for 'not meeting its community standards.'     Guess it's up to us now to share the message.

The Russian Fleet Is Heading For the English Channel andamp The British Are Tracking Them For Ulterior Motives

The British Navy aka the Royal Navy is currently tracking Russian warships that are currently heading towards the English channel and might be passing through. According to sources, the warships are heading towards Syria and will be used for the final assault on Aleppo.  The Royal Navy sent a Type 45 Destroyer that sailed on Tuesday to keep an eye on the Russian fleet along with a Type 23 Frigate. They are being used to escort the Russian fleet in the Norwegian Sea, which is set between Iceland and Norway.  "When these ships near our waters we will man-mark them every step of the way. We will be watching as part of our steadfast commitment to keeping Britain safe.” says the Ministry of Defence spokesman. The Russian Fleet will sail through the English Channel today and into the Mediterranean Sea to eventually reach Syrian shorelines. An anonymous source told Reuters that the Russian Warships are ready for the final assault on Aleppo and are equipped with fighter bombers.  © AP The source also said: "They are deploying all of the northern fleet and much of the Baltic fleet in the largest surface deployment since the end of the Cold War. "This is not a friendly port call. In two weeks, we will see a crescendo of air attacks on Aleppo as part of Russia's strategy to declare victory there. "With this assault, it should be enough to allow a Russian exit strategy if Moscow believes Assad is now stable enough to survive."  Russia has a track record of using ships to shadow ulterior motives and false flag operations which the British Government is not ready to take a chance with. Russia is known to conduct illegal activities through official channels in order to push their own agenda in the unstable region.  NATO and the British navy are currently monitoring the Russian warships until they sail through the North Sea and the English Channel.  Russia announced that the aircraft carrier being sent is to only reinforce their military presence in the eastern Mediterranean and are focused on conducting bombings in Syria.  However, as a gesture of “goodwill”, Moscow announced a halt on raids by their Air Force for the evacuation of civilians from targeted areas.

Know Your Artist: Indian Ocean

Indian Ocean was formed more than twenty five years ago but has still managed to stay relevant to this day with a loyal and dedicated following. The band’s current lineup consists of Amit Kilam on drums, percussion and vocals, Rahul Ram on bass guitar and vocals, Himanshu Joshi on vocals, Tuheen Chakravorty on tabla and percussion and Nikhil Rao on guitar. Indian Ocean is primarily a fusion of rock music with Indian traditional sounds and was one of the first homegrown bands to give impetus to this genre in the country. The band combines numerous themes in their music ranging from poetry to spirituality and even a call for revolution—and still manage to balance it pretty well, keeping it fresh and entertaining.  © YouTube They have released seven albums over the span of their careers and have remained loyal to their signature jazz-filled sound while adding newer elements to their music. Indian Ocean is one of the most famous homegrown acts in India and extensively toured all over the country, and world.  © Facebook/Indian Ocean In 1992, the band released their debut album which was recorded in no less than ten days. The self-titled album was purely instrumental and only had a couple of lyrical lines. And while their next album came after five years, it was worth the wait. The live album, ‘Desert Rain’, was spontaneously recorded at one of their concerts in New Delhi. The next album, ’Kandisa’, came out in 2000 and was a game-changer for the band. It was massively loved by the fans, acquiring a cult status and put Indian Ocean on the map as one of the most original music bands in the country. They followed it up with ‘Jhini’ in 2003 which was recorded in the hills. The band even made their first ever music video for a single off this album. Their next album, ‘Black Friday’ was inspired by the soundtrack of the 2004 movie of the same name. ‘16/330 Khajoor Road’ was the first album to be released after the tragic demise of their former band member Asheem Chakravarty, in 2009. With this album, the band took their stance against record labels by putting up the album for free download online. Their latest album ‘Tandanu’ is considered to be their best album till date with its anthem-like sound. The politically progressive album delivered a new sense of patriotism and awareness in a distraught time.  The legendary band can seen playing live at the Bacardi Nh7 Weekender on the 5th and 6th of November in Hyderabad.

This Mans Co-Passenger Was An Indian Runner Duck With Red Shoes And A Captain America Diaper

When you board a plane, you have no idea about the passengers in there. A flight hoards a bunch of loud people, some wailing kids, the quiet lot which is seen snuggled with a book and a few other random varieties. But how many times have you witnessed a cute, two webbed feet quacking duck, wearing red shoes, strolling in the aisle? Mark Essig, an American author who was flying from Charlotte to Asheville, took to Twitter to share his encounter with possibly one of the most adorable co-passengers—an emotional support duck. My seatmate, CLT➡️AVL, is this handsome duck named Daniel. Bengaluru FC Is The First Indian Club To Reach The AFC Cup Final And This Is Why Itandamprsquos A Really Big Deal

Bengaluru FC became the first Indian team to reach the finals of the AFC cup after a high octane second leg clash resulted in a 4-2 win on aggregate over Johor Darul Ta'zim. It’s a historic achievement in Indian football considering Bengaluru FC was founded in 2013. © BCCL After conceding an early away goal in the game, the Blues upped the ante and put pressure in the final third. Sunil Chhetri netted a regulation training routine corner and brought back Bengaluru FC into the game. This, however, was nothing in comparison to the most scintillating moment of the game when Chhetri once again, through his sheer brilliance scored a scorcher from a fair distance. This short clip gives an idea of how good the Indian striker was on the night. A golazo worth watching (even Batistuta would be proud of!) from the golden boy of Indian football, take a bow Sunil Chhetri! pic.twitter.com/KxfzJmuVa4 — Sivan John™ (@SivanJohn) October 19, 2016 This goal by Chhetri ended all hopes of resurgence for the Malaysian giants. It was however another assist for Lyngdoh with Juan Antonio which put the final nail in the coffin. Begaluru FC demolished Johor Darul Ta'zim 4-2 on aggregate and scripted history for Indian football. © BCCL It’s one of those rare moments for the sport in India which reinvigorates the entire football community, a glimmer of hope for the ever pessimistic Indian fans. The finals will now be played on November 5th against Iraq’s Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya club in Doha. It’ll be a difficult final for Bengaluru FC but one which might earn them a place in history. No matter the challenge, Chhetri and co. will look to give it their best shot and announce the advent of Indian football on the world stage.

This Wheelchair-Bound Activist was Kicked In A Theatre For Not Standing Up During The National Anthem

Patriotism in our country is a feeling which fills everyone with pride, it gives us goose bumps and a strange power of love overflows inside our hearts. But is it justified to force it on others and get violent if someone’s definition of the love for their country is not similar to yours? Salil Chaturvedi, a famous writer and an activist, faced a lot of flak and was assaulted recently while he was at a theatre in Panaji. The reason for this bizarre absurdity is shocking. He is wheelchair-bound due to a spinal injury and therefore when the national anthem was played, he could not stand up.  According to the report in The Times Of India, a ‘patriotic’ couple took offence and the husband hit, while the wife questioned that why couldn’t this man stand up? © Twitter Needless to say that Salil was beyond being shocked, but still maintained his calm and asked the irked audience to relax. The couple realised their mistake but instead of apologising, simply left the drama that they had stirred. Son of a career military officer, Salil cannot possibly go back to watch a movie. “I’m afraid someone will hit me even harder, and worsen my spinal injury. I just don’t understand why it seems impossible for so many people to express patriotism in a non-aggressive manner”, he said. © Twitter  He also voiced his angst by explaining, “I now believe that even if I could stand up during the national anthem, I would rather not, simply because I am being forced to do so. My father is an Air Force veteran. I represented the nation in wheelchair tennis at the Australian Open. Look at my life choices! Who are you to judge how much I love India?” © Twitter He also expressed his discomfort by adding, “Is this why we fought the colonialists? Did we get our freedom only to become sheep, and that too led by the most sinister, manipulative brutes among us? I will not participate in this sham”, which is sad but true. Salil Chaturvedi was a part of the famous Indian version of ‘The Sesame Street’ which was called ‘Galli Galli Sim Sim’ and he also compiled a Konkani audio book specially meant for the blind. It is unfair and brutal on the part of pseudo patriots to actually point fingers at someone who doesn’t need to justify his love for the nation.
