Priyanka Chopra said ?Wishing you so much joy and happiness. You are an absolute vision? -
As the wedding season descends upon us, we are already brimming with news of either newly married couples or those who are on the precipice of tying the knot (whether they admit it or not). And the first ones to kickstart this season are none other than the Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, a woman who has inspired thousands with her tales of courage and words of wisdom, along with husband Asser Malik. Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead. : @malinfezehai pic.twitter.com/SNRgm3ufWP — Malala (@Malala) November 9, 2021 Malala recently posted a picture of the two of them, looking at each other with dreamy eyes, somehow delivering the message that there is both - love and light at the end of the tunnel. And as much as we were happy with the news of her getting married, we were also curious to find out more about the guy. Turns out, Asser Malik is a General Manager High Performance for the Pakistan Cricket Board, however, that is not what caught our eye. What did, was a picture of the happy couple from a few years ago, with none other than Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan photobombing the two! Happy Birthday to the most amazing @Malala @iamsrk had to make a necessary cameo of course. pic.twitter.com/kSFBgSqzVz — Asser Malik (@MalikAsser) July 12, 2021 Upon a little digging into the guy, Internet users found a rather startling picture of Malala and Asser with a life-size cut out of Shah Rukh Khan, captioned, “Happy Birthday to the most amazing @Malala @iamsrk had to make a necessary cameo of course." Safe to say the newlywed couple is an SRK fan and we love it! Malala and Asser got married in a ceremony in Birmingham, England which is where Malala’s family moved to after she was shot by the Taliban in Pakistan for speaking up for girls’ right to education. She was 15 when she was shot, and by 17 she won a Nobel prize. © Twitter Malala is 24-years-old now and married to Asser Malik who works as a manager for Pakistan’s governing body for cricket, according to his LinkedIn profile and graduated from Pakistan’s Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2012.
