  1. Spoiler ahead. “You are my queen”. You can literally make a 'Game of Thrones' drinking game based on this one line because that was basically the extent of Jon Snow's dialogues this season. Jon Snow was always one of my favourite characters throughout all the seasons, and not just because he's 'pretty', but seeing him reduced to basically a 'yes, ma'am' person towards the end was disappointing to watch, to say the least. After thinking of himself as a bastard child, he found out he was the rightful heir to the iron throne and the one true king. He literally died and came back to life. But, it seemed like everything was for nothing. He has always proved how honourable he is, he's always looked out for everyone, he literally killed the person he loved because people would be better off without her. His duty became the death of his love. And, even after so much, he doesn't become the king? I know he doesn't want, he never wanted that but he was born for it and everyone whon knew about his true identity knew that and wanted him to come to power. What was the point of so much build-up regarding his identity - which even got Varys killed - when it was all forgotten immediately. Ever since Tyrion found out about Jon being a Targaryen, he wanted him to be King and own the Iron Throne and not Daenerys. But, what happened towards the end when Tyrion suggested Bran as the new king? Did he just forget that Jon exists or what? It honestly didn't make sense. I want to know why his true identity was hyped up so much for it to not even come up in the end. Only a handful people knew he was a Targaryen before he killed Dany and then the secret was just kept with the same people? No one thought of actually calling upon the true heir to take up his rightful place? Not even Sam? Then, there was the whole season cliffhanger with his death, and then him coming back to life because of the Lord of Light. We kind of saw why Beric came back to life, to save Arya so she could kill the Night King. But, what was Jon's purpose of coming back? It couldn't be to kill Dany since she probably wouldn't have become 'Mad Queen' if she never even knew who Jon was because him having a better claim to the throne than her was one of the major factors that led her to burn down King's Landing. So, his resurrection was for nothing? I can think of a couple of alternating endings for him. He could've become king after killing Dany and then just became ruthless and started killing people like her in a few years. Becoming what he once saved everyone from. It would've been such a twisted ending, but trust me, it would've been better, to be honest. Or, Drogon could've tried to kill him instead of burning down the iron throne and he could've come out of the fire unburnt since he is a Targaryen as well. Or something interesting other than just him going back to where he started - the Night's Watch, which technically shouldn't exist since the Night King is dead. It was a proper full circle for his character but I wish the writers had broken the wheel. The entire ending was a letdown after a ten-year and eight-season build-up and Jon's ending was the most disappointing for me since he deserved so much more. #JusticeForJon
  2. The way things went on with the eighth and final season of 'Game of Thrones', a show that had the potential to become the greatest television series of all time, I don't think there is a need for this, but nonetheless… ** SPOILERS AHEAD ** The final episode of the final season of Game of Thrones came out a couple of hours ago and a lot of us got up to watch the series finale at 6:30 on a Monday morning, just for the sake of finishing the series we had invested nine years of our lives in. Honestly, with the rate at which every episode of season 8 was dropping our expectations with the show, I am glad that they were able to just end it, regardless of who won the “game of thrones” and how. But because it is our duty to make the best out of waste, I shall rather focus on something that used to be good about the show and one of the very rare moments of the finale that could be compared to the better times of the past. ** AGAIN, SPOILERS AHEAD ** After Daenerys Targaryen decided to burn the entire King's Landing to a crisp, and told her lover/nephew about her plans to “liberate the entire world”, the perpetually confused Jon Snow finally decided to take a stand against the 'Mad Queen' and his aunt. “You will always be my queen,” he said as he drove a dagger into her heart, ending her short lived yet impactful reign of terror as the “Queen of the Seven Kingdoms” and ironically the “Protector of the Realm” laid motionless with streams of blood coming out of her mouth and nose. Congrats Jon, you shall now be known as 'The Queenslayer'. When the series had begun, Jaime Lannister, who used to look like Prince Charming from 'Shrek' back then, was infamous for doing the same. Stabbing the “Mad King” Aerys II Targaryen in the back, at the steps of the Iron Throne, Jaime 'Kingslayer' Lannister had saved the royal capital from Aerys' outrageous wish to be destroyed by wildfire. © HBO Now, Aerys II Targaryen looked like he was a hundred years old and we did not like him. On the other hand, we watched Dany truly evolve from a helpless little girl who “couldn't count beyond 20” to the “Mother of Dragons” and boy, did we like her. But essentially, they both wanted to do the same. If anything, Dany was worse than the Mad King because she actually succeeded in barbequing the city with Drogon's breath. So, why is it that while Jaime got to become Robert Baratheon's Kingsuard but Snow got exiled to the Night's Watch, where he's not allowed to marry or mate with anyone? Is this not the first failure of the new “King of the Six Kingdoms and the Protector of the Realm”, Brandon the Broken? The fact that a drunken ruler like Robert Baratheon had a lot more control over his army than the 'Three Eyed Raven' has to feel like a gut punch. So much for destiny.
  3. Our beloved 'Game of Thrones' is about to come to an end. As we gear up for the finale, braving a disappointing plot and lacklustre storyline, a bittersweet ending awaits us. Irrespective of our disdain for the final season, we still are just as interested in finding out what is going to happen in the finale, thanks to the emotional attachment we have developed over the years. We might just have a clue of what's going to happen, because of a clip we chanced upon. © HBO The clip we are referring to is a part of the trailer of 'Game of Thrones: The Last Watch', the official documentary on the show by Director Jeanie Finlay, described as 'a farewell to Westeros with the people who built the realm'. It's two hours long and will premiere on HBO, on May 26th. The trailer features an emotional cast and crew. Kit Harrington is captured in a tearful moment, as the directors address everyone. © HBO However, what caught our attention is Emilia Clarke's final shot. She is walking on snow, and there is also a bit of green screen behind (probably Drogon). Even though according to the story, she should be in King's Landing (where there is no snow), she seems to be somewhere in Winterfell. After it gets over, someone yells, "This was Emilia's last shot on Game of Thrones", post which she embraces the director and someone is shown drying their eyes. © HBO We don't know whether she shot the Winterfell scenes last, but we surely are hoping for a solid ending. You can see the trailer for the documentary here.
  4. With 'Game Of Thrones' nearing its end faster than we had expected, it is safe to say that the story of the television series digressed from the storyline that author George RR Martin had spent years coming up with. While it deprives the show of a lot of love from the dedicated fans of the books, it also opens doors to an uncertain future and all sorts of theories about the way it all ends for Jon Snow, Cersei, Daenerys, and the rest of the crew with the series finale a couple of weeks away. One such theory could be about the main man, Jon Snow, who surprisingly seems to 'know nothing' about all the tattletales present in his “family” with whom he spent the better portion of his unusual life. via GIPHY I say “unusual” simply because one, he's come back to life after dying and two, have you noticed how ever since he was resurrected, he somehow managed to survive every major war he's been a part of while people around him continued to die, mostly saving him from danger? So, this theory is about how ever since he was brought back to life by the Lord of Light (through Melisandre), Snow became the most powerful and influential agent of the “one true god” especially because of the fact that Snow or rather, Aegon Targaryen was always the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, thereby the King of the Seven Kingdoms, a King who could force his subjects into worshipping the Lord of Light alone, while dismissing every other religion. via GIPHY The biggest hints about the theory dropped during the fourth episode of the eighth and final season of the show. After winning the Battle of Winterfell, with the Night King and the rest of the army of the dead decimated after Arya stabbed him in the torso with dragonglass, it was the wildlings who spoke of how Snow did not remain dead even after getting murdered: “He is little but he is strong. Strong enough to befriend an enemy and get murdered for it. Most people get bloody murdered, they stay that way. Not this one,” said Tormund to which Snow slyly replied: “I didn't have much say in that.” via GIPHY Also, a couple of moments ago, in a conversation with Tyrion, Ser Davos expresses his concerns with The Lord of Light. “We play his game for him, we fight his war and win and then he fucks off. No signs, no blessings. Who knows what he wants?” Maybe this is what the Lord of Light had planned all along. There also exists another theory according to which the Lord of Light and the God of Death are one and the same. In the last episode, Melisandre, a devout of the Lord of Light said something very peculiar to a terrified Arya that gave her the strength to kill the Night King. via GIPHY Interestingly, she spoke about the God of Death and the lines were first told to Arya nearly a decade ago by her sword-fighting instructor, Syrio Forel, who followed the God of Death aka the Many-Faced God as well. via GIPHY Once the Night King was dead, Melisandre happily died as her destiny was fulfilled by Arya and now it was Snow's turn to fulfill his by taking the throne from Cersei and Daenerys to complete the Lord of Light's plan.
  5. Today's gory and dark episode of the Battle of Winterfell left us all shook with horror and squinting our eyes to see who died and what was actually happening during the battle, thanks to some great camera angles and brilliant cinematography, however, all was forgiven when we watched the brave Arya Stark slice up the Night King like no one's business and just like that, the Battle of Winterfell got us thinking hard about what comes next. One theory that was debunked in today's episode was about the identity of the mythical hero, Azhor Ahai who was promised to the land. According to the legend in the 'GOT' world, he is born in the line of Aerys II and Rhaella and according to Rhaegar Targaryen, his is the song of ice and fire. However, it is more of a gender-neutral word. The Azhor Ahai has forged a sword called the 'Lightbringer' meant to defeat the god of death. It is believed that he had to sacrifice his wife in order to pay the price and it is believed that he will come back again. Until now, everyone thought either Jaime Lannister or Jon Snow might be the prince and either of them would kill the Night King and reveal their true nature. © HBO However, we witnessed what happened and boy, was it crazy?! Now, everyone believes that the promised prince is none other Arya Stark herself. One of the things which trace back to that possibility is back in season 3, when Mellisandre meets Arya and predicts that she will kill people with green, blue and brown eyes. She killed the Night King who had blue eyes. © HBO Also, Arya got the dagger from Bran at Godswood which is exactly the place where she killed the Night King. So, now everyone is joining the dots and waiting for an official declaration but until then, Arya Stark is being believed to be the promised Azhor Ahai.
  6. The entire world is preparing to witness the gory aesthetics of the battle of Winterfell as the armies have united with the Starks to save themselves from the wrath of the Night Walker and his wights. we got hold of some unseen images from the next episode which gives out a few hints from what can we expect. The one image which surprised and confused us at the same time is where you can see Khaleesi and Jon Snow standing on a hill top as the battle of Winterfell is on in the background ( or that is how it seems to be ), or it could possibly be them looking out for the Night King's arrival. © HBO another image has Tyrion and Varys having a deep conversation in the crypts. There's an image of Sansa Stark in a pensive mood , who later joins her sister Arya. © HBO © HBO © HBO There's an image of Brienne of Tarth with Jamie Lannister as they face the army of the dead © HBO And a scared Jon Snow looks horrified which I don't know, probably announces the arrival of the Night King? © HBO With a myriad of theories flying around us, the wait is making us go mad already! In case you don't wake up at 6:30 am every Monday to witness the madness first hand, you can also catch 'Game Of Thrones' on Star World every Tuesday at 10 pm.
  7. With the biggest revelation that just came out, something that binds the show's fundamental plot line, just blew our mind. Aegon Targaryen, the sixth of his name, King of the Andals and the first men, Lord of seven kingdoms and protector of the realm, risen from the dead to proclaim his throne just officially set foot on the show, and we've got major goosebumps. But what the heck, we're still gonna call him Jon Snow. © HBO Jon's a dedicated man, who lists his priorities firmly and never lets anything get in the way of them. Well, almost. He still has a heart that loves fiercely and even with the daunting choices he has to make, his love for Dany is pure and real. Dany and Jon officially met in season 7 of 'Game of Thrones', where Jon made his journey to the south to meet the Dragon lady. Things unfolded quite quickly and before you knew it, they were making sweet love on their way to Winterfell. Daenerys is as smitten with Jon as he is with her. In fact, in the latest episode Dany tells Sansa how all she wanted was to take back the throne all her life, but now she's fighting Jon's war instead because she loves him dearly. © HBO Their love is pure, clean and strong and we truly hope the recent developments don't deter the compassion and respect the two hold for each other. If anything, Jon and Dany's story is the strongest in the series and we might have learnt a thing or two from their meaningful relationship and that's what this article is about. © HBO Here are 3 main learnings from Jon Snow aka Aegon Targaryen and Daenerys Targaryen's relationship in 'Game of Thrones'. Maybe you can use them to strengthen your bond with your loved one. (1) Effective Communication Is Important One thing that stands out between both Jon and Dany is their love to communicate everything effectively. Whether they're discussing strategies or a thing or two about love, they're straight up about how they feel and always counter each other's decision healthily. If you've noticed, Dany always seeks Jon's councils in pertinent matters, especially when it comes to making important decisions. He's always sought her advice on matters he might be a little confused about. The best way to build or re-build an association is to communicate effectively and build a narrative suited for your purpose. For example, Jon didn't take long to tell Dany the truth about who he was even though he knew it could potentially destroy his dynamic with her, on a permanent basis. Maybe they'll find a way around this, maybe they won't, but they're sure of how they feel for each other which might act as a saving grace, thanks to their excellent communication skills. © HBO (2) Sometimes Sacrifice Is Inevitable If you've truly been in love and have struggled to keep it alive you'll know what I mean by sacrifices then. Let's face it, sometimes love isn't easy, especially if you've fought for it in the past and failed miserably. That's what Dany and Jon did earlier. They met people they fell in love with and couldn't be with them in the longer run, so they decided to strive harder. While Dany joined the Dothraki to be with Khal Drogo, Jon couldn't give up his Night's Watch responsibility to be with Ygritte. But when the two come together, they both realise how important sacrifices are in love, in order to keep it alive. While Jon gives up his title as the King of the North, when he bends the knee for Dany, Dany too gives up her lifelong dream of marching to King's Landing and taking over the throne. Instead, she's in the North helping Jon prepare for a bigger war. That's what sacrifices enable you to do. Show empathy where it's required most and give up on something for a greater good. © HBO (3) The Ability To Keep Calm During Conflict This isn't just pertinent for people in power but for every relationship. The only helpful resolve comes through calmness and nothing more. If Jon and Dany were disagreeing on matters that affect the Seven Kingdoms then they'd be on loggerheads most times, instead of leading a war. While both have had a different approach to conflicts, there are times when they've intervened in the other's working and told them what they're doing is wrong. Especially Jon, who has always openly told Dany what he feels, when she asks him for his council. When Dany wanted Jaime executed, while he was in Winterfell, Jon didn't agree with her and she ultimately took his advice on the matter. Even after disclosing who he really is to Dany, we didn't see them get in to a brawl, knowing fully well that he's the true and rightful heir to the throne. To make love a stronger bond, you need to have adequate tools for it to work and avoiding conflict with a sense of calm is one of them, which these two display with ease. © HBO Jon and Dany display other learnings throughout their time together. For instance, sometimes you need to keep your ego aside to balance an equation, or how it's important to maintain balance between family and love. Though GoT happened a million years ago, there are some important lessons primarily from relationships in the show you can take back home with you and Jon and Daenerys' equation is probably one of them.
  8. The insane wait to watch the final season of 'Game Of Thrones' is about to end in a week's time when we finally witness some crazy action. Naturally the premiere has happened and the cast is pretty active on social media, contributing to the buzz around the digital premiere. Over the weekend, the good folks at 'SNL' got Kit Harington to host the night and needless to say, it was just as we expected. The best part, however, was the cast members, especially Emilia Clarke budging in and asking for spoilers, which Kit extensively refused to reveal. Adding to humour was the Night King himself asking if they could be friends and Kit's real life wife who had some fun questions to ask as well. Kit is ððð revealing how @GameofThrones ends. #SNL pic.twitter.com/cVyUmFbsGT — Saturday Night Live - SNL (@nbcsnl) April 7, 2019 Now isn't that a big tease because as the days go by, all we want is for 15th April to arrive soon so we can finally get some visual action. Until then, this was the best pre-watch for sure!
  9. Kids are supposed to look like their parents. Well, not always but mostly. It's basic biology. However, some kids look so much like their parents, that they almost look like their younger version. And when that happens in Bollywood, fans go gaga because they get to see a version of the oldest Bollywood cliche IRL. Ever since Aryan Khan started posting pictures on Instagram (which is rather rare tbh), the entire SRK fanbase started going crazy because, well, do the math. Ibrahim Ali Khan probably goes a little higher on the scale, but people still swear by Aryan as the 'better doppelganger'. We don't blame them and Aryan just gave them another reason by posting some pictures on snow. © Instagram/aryan Doesn't he look exactly like his father? That jawline, that hair, those eyes? We're half expecting him to break into a KJo-esque song and dance anytime tbh. © Instagram/aryan SRK has always had this thing for dancing on the snow with elaborate winterwear, while his heroines would dance in chiffon-sarees, mysteriously unperturbed by the sub-zero temperatures. That image is stuck so strongly in our subconscious, that seeing Aryan harmlessly chilling on the snow is giving us glimpses of SRK. © Instagram/ANI Their style game is also rather similar. Both of them clearly like to stick to outfits that are bright, sporty, and super functional. Exhibit A. © Instagram/aryan All we can say is, if Aryan decides to join Bollywood, God help the lad because all people would search for in him is his father. Having said that, all the best for whatever you decide to do, Aryan!
  10. The Indian Army is an epitome of true valour and righteousness, wherever it's needed. They're almost invincible yet dignified, ferocious and mighty, as well as compassionate. And we only believe these things because we always read about the great work they are doing, while protecting our borders. Recently, the Indian army marched towards another great feat by rescuing a pregnant woman , who was stuck in bad snow to deliver her babies. On the 8th of February, a villager from the same village as the pregnant woman called the company commander of the Thana Panar Camp at Bandipur and asked for help to take his wife Gulshana Begum to the hospital there. Due to Jammu & Kashmir's heavy snowfall, the man couldn't take his wife, since the roads were all blocked and the temperature fell to about minus seven degrees Celsius. The situation was so grave that the woman had to be rushed to the hospital and she couldn't waste any time. © Twitter Upon hearing about the situation at hand, the soldiers of Bandipur National Rifles reached the woman's house, braving bad road conditions and heavy snowfall. They carried her out on a stretcher for about 2.5 kms, before putting her in an army ambulance. © Twitter The men had already spoken to the required doctors before they even reached the hospital in Bandipur, just so there wouldn't be any time wasted and the woman could have a safe and healthy delivery. Fortunately, upon reaching the hospital on time and after some check-ups, it was confirmed the woman would be having twins. If it wasn't for the army's presence in the nick of time, she wouldn't have been able to even make it to the nearest hospital. © Twitter Indian Army as an organisation has been taken for granted beyond measure time and again, especially in Jammu and Kashmir where they are vigilant day and night about terrorist activities. The locals aren't very fond of the army and they definitely have unpleasant feelings towards them. But more often than not, the army goes out of its way to help the local, sizeable population in any way they can and they recognise the importance of an emergency and lack of help in some regions of J&K. That's why they're always there, fighting every cause. Here's to the Indian Army for always lending a helping hand to people when they need them. We're sure Gulshana Begum's twins will have something to thank the Indian Army about. Who knows they might join the ranks someday!
  11. In what happens to be one of the most memorable day in a person's life, a young groom and would-be husband was met with a strange twist of fate. On the day of the wedding, his wedding procession which consisted of 80 people at the beginning of the journey, was cut by 1/4th by the time it reached the wedding venue. The culprit behind this twisted change of events was the incessant snowfall in the area. North India has been facing the wrath of a cold wave over the past week, so on Friday when Rajnish Kurmachali's wedding procession reached Makku Math in Rudraprayag for the wedding, there were only 25 guests with him. © Hindustan Times What's more, all these 25 people wedding guests enthusiastically walked across a stretch of 6 kilometres on snow-laden roads, to reach Makku Math from Triyuginarayan village, where the groom's family lived. According to a HT report, when the groom's family found that roads were blocked due to excessive snowfall, they decided to only send those members of the family who were required to perform the wedding rituals, and the others stayed back. All along the journey, the children in the procession kept playing in the snow and had an amazing time together. © Thinkstock Images The groom's brother, Ashish Gairola, told HT that, “we had seen a wedding procession like this in 2002 and now this was the next one. People will talk about this procession and the wedding for years as in both the weddings the groom was an army jawan”. We presume that this wedding shall be memorable to one and all for many other reasons too. The wedding procession had a great time making their way to the wedding, and were all smiles to be part of such a unique wedding. © Thinkstock Images Talking to HT, Bijay Lal, head of Triyuginarayan village, said, “Even I had to go to the wedding but we were all stuck due to the snow. But those who went enjoyed the whole journey and the wedding took place without any problem.” We are sure that the bride and her family must have been super glad and excited by their efforts, who took the decision to make this wedding a success, and a memorable experience for all those involved.
  12. Now that the new map is available for matchmaking on PUBG mobile, you must be wondering what things you need to do differently and where to land for the best loot. We've been testing the new map in the beta version of the game to prepare you for the best landing locations and strategies you need to follow. Map Size And Strategies To Use © PUBG The new map called ' Vikendi' is a mixture of maps like Erangel and Miramar. It's smaller than the two maps but a bit bigger than Sanok. It's a 6x6 map where it is essentially designed to bring the best feature of the two sizes already available on other maps. It's a combination of action packed hot zones and quaint spots for the best loots. © PUBG Apart from using the minimap on the top right corner, you can use the new main feature of tracking footprints. Being a snow map, you will be able to track fresh footprints on the snow until it vanishes after ten minutes. It will basically give you an idea that someone has already been here recently and could be around you. Ten minutes is an awfully long time and could be possible that the person is now long gone. Clothing Matters © PUBG It's doesn't take much to realise that your clothing will matter a lot in the new map. Try to avoid wearing extremely bright clothes as you will stand out in the white snow. Try to wear grey clothing so that it helps blend better with the environment. This will come most handy during the last phase of the collapsable circle as you need to make sure you're not easy to spot. Remember, enemies can still track your footprints, especially in the last phase of the circle. Best Drop Locations: Hot Zones And Best Loot At the moment, the game's spawning of weapons is a bit iffy as you will see more SMGs and Shotguns spawning than Sniper and Assault Rifles. Having said that, the new update may bring a few changes for the Mobile version to keep it more exciting and fast paced. During the course of our gameplay, we noticed a few Hot Spots where you can land and some quieter locations where you can loot in peace. © MensXP Hot Drops: The main named locations are the hottest spots to land just like the other three maps on PUBG Mobile. You can reach these locations from any flight path however the most noticeable locations are Coal Mine, Castle, Villa, Mount Kreznic and Dino Park. You will find more loot at these locations which may also result in more people landing in your vicinity. © YouTube Quieter Spots: If you want to land in a quieter spot which gets less number of enemies, you want to land in areas like Milnar, Cosmodrome, Winery, Cantra, Dobro Mesto, Peshkova, Movatra and Krichas. There's still good loot here but due to the bigger location size, you may have to hunt a bit more. The 'Vikendi' snow map is now available on PUBG Mobile, Xbox and PlayStation for matchmaking and do follow these essential strategies to get that Chicken Dinner. In order to play the new map, you need to be on the latest version of PUBG for your specific platform and need to download the map separately in order to begin matchmaking.
  13. Now that PUBG Mobile has got the update for the new map, many users are impatiently waiting for the new 'Vikendi' Snow Map. The new update brought some new features such as reporting suspicious behaviour from spectator mode. However, the new map is generating a lot of excitement amongst users. © PUBG The Vikendi snow map is a 6x6km map that is smaller than Miramar and Erangel while being larger than Sanhok. Even though the update has been rolled out, the new map is not currently available to play for users. PUBG Mobile official Twitter account has now detailed information about Vikendi and its availability. © PUBG The new map will be available on PUBG Mobile from December 20 at 5:30 AM (IST); however, it will not be available for matchmaking straight away. The map will be available to users for matchmaking exactly 24 hours after its availability i.e. December 21 at 5:30 AM (IST). Cruise around in #Vikendi. Available on December 20th 00:00 UTC for download, and on 21st 00:00 UTC for matchmaking! https://t.co/0T7kURtAzz pic.twitter.com/VfNXI8Yfra — PUBG MOBILE (@PUBGMOBILE) December 18, 2018 © PUBG The new map will be available with all the classic features such as solo, squad and duo modes. There are even new vehicles such as a snowmobile that can be used to traverse Vikendi's environment. You can even see footprints/vehicle tracks of enemies on the snow for the purpose of tracking. This newly added feature of tracking is said to bring a breath of fresh air to the already popular battle royale game. Along with the map and vehicles, PUBG Mobile is also introducing a new weapon called the G36C Assault Rifle (AR). The new AR is going to replace the uber-popular weapon SCAR-L for the VIkendi map.
  14. Yesterday, PUBG Mobile servers were down in order to accommodate the new snow map that is being introduced to the game today. Now that the servers are back online after maintenance, you can now update your game to get the latest features and the new Vikendi map. © PUBG In order to play the latest map and take advantage of the new servers, you will first need to update your game from the Google Play Store or the Apple App store. The update size is 1.6 GB and once you have downloaded the update, you will have the latest version i.e. 0.10.0. You will also need to update in-game in order to start playing the new map. © YouTube The latest update is now rolling out and there are some changes introduced in the game. For example, users will now be able to report suspicious behaviour after they die as they will now be able to spectate the enemy. The new snow map is 6km by 6km in size and is smaller than other maps in the game with the exception of Sanhok. Other updates include support for Arabic language and cross-server matchmaking. Users will also get other rewards if the game is updated before December 25. In order to encourage players to play the new map, Tencent gaming will offer an Outfit Box (7d) and in-game credits of 1,888 BP. © YouTube Do keep in mind that even though the new update is rolling out, the new map won't be available to play yet. The availability is scheduled sometime this week and some sources suggest it will be available to the public on December 20th. Having said that, the above features part of the update will be active for the game with the ability to play the Vikendi map soon. For more details about the update, you can read our overview here.
  15. PUBG, more specifically the 'PUBG Mobile', is the most popular game on the planet and has gathered quite some steam in India. A new update that was released for the PC version of the game introduced a new map called Vikendi. The new map is covered with snow where players can track each other in the snow. © YouTube The new map is now coming to PUBG Mobile with some of the features. For example, the green ghillie suit has now been replaced with a similar outfit but is completely white. This will let users blend in with the snow environment to get an added advantage over enemies. The feature to track enemies may not be able to make it on the Mobile version as it is graphics intensive and requires a lot of juice which smartphones lack. The new map will also have snowmobiles for users to traverse the environments and also introduce new weapons. © YouTube PUBG mobile servers will not be active today as Tencent will be applying the new update and the new map to its servers from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm IST. The new update will also provide rewards for players who update their games before 25th December. Tencent will be giving away Outfit Box III and 1,888 BP points for users who will update the game before the above-mentioned date. © PUBG The new map will be available from the main menu and PUBG mobile will also get a new snow theme. New important features now include giving users the ability to report suspicious behaviour while spectating after dying. PUBG Mobile's new version will also get added Season spending rewards and added Firearms Finish Upgrade system.
  16. The final season of everyone's favourite 'Game Of Thrones' is still going to take a while before it hits our screens and blows us away with what it has to offer, in terms of the many questions that are hanging on our heads like daggers. © HBO While the wait is crazy and it's less than a year (as if that's a consolation) left when we'll shun social life for decrypting episodes, a bizarre new theory about the insane connection between Jon Snow and the Night King is doing the rounds on Reddit. Let's discuss what everyone is expecting from the finale. A major chunk of the fan population feels that Jon Snow will reign, Khaleesi will unite and have a family of her own with him, Cersei will be defeated and it's going to be one happy ending for our guy who was previously unlucky in love with Ygritte. However, if history is proof then we know that the makers do anything that is ever predictable and everyone changes sides like a game of chess. © HBO According to this bizarre new theory, Jon Snow will be the end of the Night King and will replace him, and not just kill him. Allow yourself a breather and read this before you react: “Someone has to 'pull out' the dragon-glass in his chest which was used to create him in the first place. By doing this the Night King would 'die,' but unlike what happens when someone kills a 'normal' white walker, none of the creatures the Night king 'created' or turned would die. Instead they would lose the mind controlling effect the Night King has on them, and they would start doing whatever the f*ck they want, i.e. rampaging around the country. To prevent this scenario from happening someone has to take the place of the Night King by stabbing himself with the previously extracted dragonglass-dagger. By doing this the person (in our mind Jon Snow) would sacrifice himself for the greater good, gaining control over all of the wights and walkers. He then would lead them back over the wall back into the north where they would stay like it has been before since the last long night (like a beast in a cage).” Now we know that Jon Snow is the ever-sacrificing, people-loving King; so this actually makes sense if you allow this theory to persist. © HBO So I am adding this theory to the list of things that have addled our brains and made the wait harder that it already was.
