If I were to write down a simple recipe for a Bollywood blockbuster, it would be something like this - Loosely knotted plot + major superstar + at least 1 car chase sequence where a few cars fly here and there + passing shots of the heroine who later gets into trouble and needs to be saved by the hero + one item song. © Nora Fatehi Now, while most of the other things are subject to change in Bollywood, considering how ‘woke’ the movie is, what is often not compromised upon is an item number that is almost always present in a movie. At least in the ones where John Abraham has played the lead role. Recently, opening up about his take on item songs that are placed in his movies, the Attack star shared how it ‘kills’ him to have such songs in his movies. With a view of never wanting to break the narrative or the flow of his movie, John explains how music is very important in his films. John, apart from his acting talent, is known to have been a big heartthrob since his Jism days, with women obviously going gaga over him whenever he's spotted in public. © Netflix One such incident, however, really got to a whole new level. It was when John had been in the Netherlands, where a couple of girls having spotted him, came to greet him. Well, greeting really isn't it, exactly! As things really got out of hand. Or Hands! John, while speaking about the incident, said that the girls actually surrounded him and started getting their hands inside his t-shirt. “Once we were in Holland and five or six excited girls surrounded me and put their hands in my t-shirt. There were like ten hands roaming around in my t-shirt,” said John, while speaking with India TV News. Now, while most actors would usually have bodyguards around them to make sure that such incidents don't happen, John said that there really was nothing his bodyguards could do in this situation. “The bodyguards came but said that they would not intervene or else girls would scratch me. So those girls whatever they wanted and it was really sweet,” he said. Soon enough, John asked the girl why she did it and got a really freaky answer in return. “I asked the girl why she did that, she said she wanted my skin in her nails,” said John. Just wow! Now imagine if something similar had happened with the male and female roles being switched. It's obviously not cool to do that to anyone, let alone a celebrity. There have been family pressures, peer pressures, father pressures, and mother pressures. But I feel very complimented that someone wants to do a role that I am doing,” he said. John also reveals how he had to tread carefully in the industry as there was no helping hand waiting for him, in case he made a mistake. “Well, till now I have tried to be very careful because I don’t have any backing. If I fall, there’s no one to really hold my hand. So, I have to stand up there myself and I realize that. And I think I am doing a pretty good job and hanging in there. I think I have created a niche for myself. I have been told that if everybody is dal and chawal, I am caviar. Triglycerides, in reality, are a type of fat found in the blood, which is measured along with cholesterol levels. While they can very well lead to a heart attack, but not by travelling to the heart. The much-awaited teaser of Sanjay Gupta’s Mumbai Saga is finally here. The teaser of this period crime thriller opens with the text: ‘When Bombay was not yet Mumbai’ and ‘When violence ruled the streets’, interestingly suggesting that the film is set during the time when the underworld had a huge presence in the city. The PlotJohn Abraham plays Amartya Rao who ‘rose from the streets’ and now wants to ‘rule’ the city. He is opposed by Emraan Hashmi’s cop character who rose from the ‘ghettos’ of the city. The teaser certainly looks terrific and in fact, we can't wait for the film's release now. Watch Mumbai Saga teaser here: The Cast & Crew The crime drama also features prominent actors like Mahesh Manjrekar, Suniel Shetty, and Gulshan Grover, among others. The film is written, produced and helmed by Sanjay Gupta. Gupta has previously directed films like Shootout at Lokhandwala, Jazbaa, Kaabil, Musafir, Zinda among others. Hashmi previously said in a statement, “An encounter specialist, he can put a bullet into someone if it accomplishes his motive. He is a badass character in a dog-eat-dog kind of world wherein this guy is the wolf. No one would imagine that I am playing a cop, but for this policeman, he is, as I said, like a gangster." He added, "Be it by fair or unfair means, he will bring down the guy he is going for. So, it’s kind of home turf, but it’s a very entertaining pitch for a character in a pure Sanjay Gupta style, who has created his own brand of cinema.
