After all, loving yourself is extremely important. © Instagram/SSIDTH So, to prove that self-love is important, a 35-year-old woman named Meg Taylor Morrison from Atlanta, Georgia married herself and celebrated by throwing a huge party. She bought a wedding dress for herself and cut a wedding cake alone and also made vows for herself. According to Mirror UK, she decided to marry herself after she broke up with her boyfriend and she said that this marriage is not a step towards healing. She expressed that she would have married herself even if she was in a relationship with someone. © Instagram/SSIDTH She said, “I wanted to marry myself as an act of self-love. Part of marrying myself was about going beyond people-pleasing or trying to look a certain way. It was about saying yes to my own desires.” On her wedding day, Meg walked down the aisle in her wedding dress and blew bubbles along with drinking champagne and she made her wear a wedding ring. Not only this, she said the vows to herself and kissed herself in the mirror. © Instagram/SSIDTH Also, the entire wedding cost her around Rs 1.02 lakhs. 9. While India and England look to lock horns in the fourth and final match of the Test series at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, the English brotherhood of pitch-critics have once again come together to shame the spin-friendly turf. The unofficial leader of this fraternity, Michael Vaughan has once again found a new and agreeably hilarious way to criticise the Indian pitch curators with less than half a week’s time before the final Test begins. View this post on Instagram “I can report that preparations for the 4th Test are going great ... The Curator is expecting movement early, good carry & might spin on day 5,” wrote the former England skipper in the caption of his Instagram post. Another former England cricketer David Lloyd too opened up about his disappointment with the deck, predicting “huge ramifications” in the longest format of the game in the future if the International Cricket Council (ICC) did not intervene with the quality of pitches in India. EX-England cricket David Lloyd has said if the ahmedabad pitch, used in the pink ball Test between India and England, is acceptable to ICC, than there will be 'huge ramifications' for test cricket. — Emmanuel Macron (@Emmanue51625756) February 28, 2021 In his column for Daily Mail, Lloyd wrote: "I'm really not bothered who wins when it's a lottery like this. It's just not a contest. Yes, techniques have been poor but if this pitch is acceptable to the ICC and there's more of this there will be huge ramifications for world Test cricket." Interestingly, players of the Australian Test cricket team have come to the rescue of the Indian pitch curators and some of them are even inviting them to make bowling pitches on their home ground. Nathan Lyon ️ 'The Ahmedabad pitch was absolutely brilliant' pic.twitter.com/KjBDXalUAH — ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) February 28, 2021 "We play on seaming wickets around the world and get bowled out for 47, 60. Nobody ever says a thing (about the pitch)," Nathan Lyon was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au. But as soon as it starts spinning, everyone in the world seems to start crying about it." "I don't get it. I'm all for it, it was entertaining," he said. "I was up all night watching it (Ahmedabad Test). It was absolutely brilliant. I'm thinking about bringing that curator out to the SCG (Sydney Cricket Ground)." However, the Aussie’s support for the Ahmedabad pitch did not sit well with the fans of the England cricket team who were quick to react to his opinion: And you are the most over rated offie ever , at least those blokes can drift it — Gary Murray (@bombermurray11) February 28, 2021Ipl auction is over!! 10. Just a day after sharing the teaser, Mumbai Saga makers have now released the first song of the film Shor Machega. The foot-tapping number has been sung by none other than Yo Yo Honey Singh and also, he has composed the track along with Hommie Dilliwala. The song takes place in the jungle-themed bar and it takes you back to the era of the 80s and 90s as the movie is set in that time period. You do get to see Emraan Hashmi and John Abraham in the song but it’s mostly the artists themselves conquering the screen. After listening to the song, we were a tad bit disappointed and felt the song was respective to a point where it started to feel stretched. Here’s the song: There were people who loved the song and are calling it a hit. © Honey Singh Instagram © Honey Singh Instagram Then, there were people who echoed our emotions and felt the song wasn’t up to the mark. They, in fact, went to say that Honey Song has lost his charm and he has got the ‘Tony Kakkar virus’. It’s because even Tony has the habit to repeat his lyrics and has a particular style. People want the old Honey Singh back in the game. © T-Series YouTube © T-Series YouTube © T-Series YouTube Sharing his journey with us, Honey Singh had exclusively told us, “It's been a long journey and I think mein ek jawab mein isko sum up nahi kar sakta. Keeping it short, I would want to tell you that I started as a music producer and I had never imagined that I will be pursuing singing. In the initial stage, I was serving the Punjabi music industry for a good 5 to 6 years and during that time, I bagged quite a few awards as a music director. And then dheere dheere, I started writing songs for other people and then finally, my team decided that we should start singing. Well, I, then, launched myself as a solo artist. I made Brown Rang in 2011 and shot in 2012. The song started to trend and from there, there was no looking back. I think I haven't really struggled. I believe the struggle is when you have the talent and you still are not getting your due. I have been lucky as I have got opportunities since the beginning.” Talking about Mumbai Saga, the film follows the story of John’s character Amartya Rao who has only one goal in life - to rule the city. Amartya rose from the streets of Mumbai and wanted to own the city as a ruthless gangster. He had a stronghold but things change for him after he murders a top industrialist. A prize of Rs 10 crore is announced for his life and it’s Emraan Hashmi who plays the cop that takes up the challenge. Excited about the movie? Let us know in the comments below!
