  1. How funny is it to see a goofy Ranveer Singh bickering with Alia Bhatt over hotel and flight booking discounts and how sweet was it to see Deepika and her mom talk about learning from failures and moving forward as they spoke about what “ander se strong” meant for them in a certain toothpaste advertisement? The Indian advertising industry has found its winning formula in India's obsession with celebrities and anything (and everything) they say or do. From making top Bollywood A-listers endorse everything from toilet cleaners, to undergarments and anti-dandruff shampoos, we have seen it all. © Twitter However, given how much Indians worship celebs and eat out of their hands as they try to sell them some commodity or service, it's no wonder that the industry is booming and sort of becoming a source of major side income for these stars. 2018 was especially a landmark year when it came as close to spending 1000 crores on celebrities for brand promotions. It was Bollywood's 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar who toppled every other star, including the Khans who have dominated the industry for the longest time, by bagging 100 crores through brand endorsements last year. © Twitter While the shift has already begun and brands are more actively seeking out Bollywood's young brigade for the youth connect, some old-timers have managed to hold the top spot after Akshay. 1. Ranveer Singh © Twitter Claiming the second spot right after Akshay is Ranveer Singh who made Rs 84 crore through advertisements last year. 2. Deepika Padukone © Twitter In the third position is Bollywood's leading lady and Ranveer's SO Deepika, who bagged Rs 75 crores through endorsements alone in 2018. 3. Amitabh Bachchan © Twitter Next up, Bollywood evergreen 'Don' Amitabh Bachchan who added Rs 72 crore to his bank balance through ads. 4. Alia Bhatt © Twitter Claiming the fifth spot in the top five is Alia Bhatt, who took home Rs 68 crore through her many advertisement projects.
  2. You can trust Akshay Kumar to take up interesting projects and add versatility to his already super versatile career path. The man knows exactly what kind of movies he needs to pick, which serve a bigger purpose than merely entertaining the audience. Last seen as a Sikh warrior in 'Kesari', Khiladi Kumar is all set for his next movie 'Laxmmi Bomb' and his first look has got everyone screaming. View this post on Instagram âªBringing you one bomb of a story,#LaxmmiBomb starring @kiaraaliaadvani & yours truly!Bursting in cinemas on 5th June,2020ð¥ Fox Star Studios Presents A Cape of Good Films Production in association with Shabinaa Entertainment & Tusshar Entertainment House Written by Farhad Samji Directed by Raghava Lawrence Produced by Aruna Bhatia, Cape of Good films Produced by Shabinaa Khan and Tusshar Produced by Fox Star Studios @foxstarhindi @shabskofficial @tusshark89 #CapeOfGoodFilms A post shared by Akshay Kumar (@akshaykumar) on May 17, 2019 at 10:43pm PDT Now, you must be wondering what this kohl-rimmed-eyes look is all about. The movie is a remake of Southern hit film 'Kanchana' which was the second part of a two-part movie franchise directed by Raghava Lawrence. The movie follows the story of a man who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender woman, who is looking for vendetta against the people who ruined her life. This looks like a very interesting role for Akshay and social media is abuzz with raving reviews of his first look. 3. It's raining sequels in Bollywood right now. It can also be said that sequels have now become a sure shot formula to score success at the box office. The latest one to join the league is Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. Earlier, there were reports about the sequel but now we have a confirmation about the same. Yes, you heard that right. The horror-comedy superhit will have a part two and we cannot help but hope for more twists and turns. T-Series honcho Bhushan Kumar will be producing the film and interestingly, he has got the first narration from director Farhad Samji. A source close to the development told MensXP, “Farhad Samji is both writing and directing the film. He has given the first narration to Bhushan Kumar and he has liked the idea. Currently, Farhad is working on the script and is also looking for a fresh cast this time. The title has always been registered and it's called 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'.” Is Akshay a part of the sequel? Well, then the answer is no. Our source also told us, “Akshay is, for sure, not a part of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. The makers will look for a new cast altogether. Right now, the latest development is this and Bhushan Kumar is quite interested in the idea of this sequel.” The original film was an official remake of the Malayalam hit film 'Manichitrathazhu'' starring Mohanlal and Shobana. Director Farhad is presently working on 'Housefull 4' and it features Akshay Kumar. It will be interesting to see who will step into the shoes of Akshay Kumar. Any guesses? Do let us know in the comments below. Apart from 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2', the producer is already remaking BR Chopra's 1978 drama 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday and Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 1975 comedy 'Chupke Chupke', in which Rajkummar Rao will reprise Dharmendra's role. Stay tuned in for more such Bollywood updates.
  4. Ever since 'Cyclone Fani' wreaked havoc in Odisha, the state has been struggling to get back on its feet. Amidst the worsening situation, Bollywood's OG Khiladi Akshay Kumar emerged as a silver lining, by donating Rs. 1 crore to the cyclone victims in Odisha. © Instagram Although there might be controversies regarding his citizenship, the fact remains that Akshay Kumar has never refrained from going the extra mile for the country and society. This time around too, he reportedly donated Rs. 1 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help the Odisha cyclone victims. According to a report in Hindustan Times, a source revealed this news and said, "This is not new. Akshay has always been contributing for causes, be it his Bharat ke Veer initiative for the armed forces, or his contribution to the Kerala Floods or Chennai floods earlier." © Instagram Earlier in 2015, Akshay had donated Rs. 1 crore for the Chennai flood relief work. He has also been actively donating and urging his fans to contribute to 'Bharat Ke Veer', an initiative launched by him and the Government of India, for the bravehearts and their families. Nature showed its wrath in Odisha with 'Cyclone Fani' recently, and we lost many innocent lives and there are videos that show the extent of infrastructural damage the state has gone through. So far, more than 30 people have been killed and hundreds of houses have been destroyed, despite the planned evacuation. © Instagram But, Odisha refused to give up and so did the entire nation, by coming forward to support the relief work and pray for their safety. Once again, people of the country proved that nothing can break their spirit. Currently, Akshay Kumar is working on his upcoming film 'Sooryavanshi'.
  5. Akshay Kumar has always been the most vocal actor when it comes to showing patriotism. I mean, just take a look at his movies and you'll see how much he loves India - or, at least, is trying very hard to prove that. But, if someone loves their country so much as he claims to do, then why would they give up being a citizen of that country for another one? This is not me questioning, but a lot of people online and they still don't have answers. Recently, Akshay Kumar was asked why he didn't vote and he had a little unexpected reaction. After that, he took to Twitter to share a long post explaining how he never denied that he holds a Canadian passport. He also made sure to say that he works in India, pays taxes in India, and is disappointed his citizenship is always being questioned by the media. pic.twitter.com/i0JEmbFh9c — Akshay Kumar (@akshaykumar) May 3, 2019 He also said that this a matter of no consequence to others but another question comes up with that. While he has no qualms in hanging out with the Prime Minister of the very country he let go of in favour of another, he's showing support for a party that is demanding so many other people living in the country to prove their citizenship. Moreover, if he has never needed to prove his love for India, why did he choose Canada over it? There are no duel citizenships here, so he can't be both Canadian and Indian. His tweet has divided people, while a lot of people are in favour of him and support him, there are so many people questioning the authenticity of his patriotism. If he's not even Indian, there's a possibility it could just be manufactured for commercial reasons aka the long list of patriotic movies that he has done. Actually yes, the citizenship wouldn't even be that big of an issue if he didn't publicize his patriotism so much, didn't allign himself to a party and promote it so openly, basically didn't get so involved in politics when he himself can't even vote. Oh, another clip has resurfaced as well. "Toronto is my home, after I retire from this industry I will settle in Canada" pic.twitter.com/Ypet1U0oBJ — Tarique Anwer (@tanwer_m) May 3, 2019 Well. No one cares about your citizenship until you align yourself with fascists who distribute patriotism certificates to the others. Sonia Gandhi has voluntarily taken up Indian citizenship and she receives the most vile misogynist nonsense for being an “Italian” from those fascists. — Baba Manhattani (@BabaGlocal) May 3, 2019 Wow. So @akshaykumar who exploits hyper-nationalism of the gullible, rubbing shoulders with majoritarian fascist outfits, has taken this oath of allegiance while becoming citizen of Canada, to defend Canada in a potential war situation with India. lulz. pic.twitter.com/jq3wxbXDDu — Baba Manhattani (@BabaGlocal) May 3, 2019 Good question. As a Canadian citizen you can live in India, work here, pay taxes without visiting Canada and still remain a Canadian citizen. A luxury that I as an Indian don't have. If you didn't need to prove your love for India, why be embarrassed about holding a Canadian passport? — Rupa Subramanya (@rupasubramanya) May 3, 2019 Exactly. True, no one should question your citizenship. Nor should you have to prove your nationalism cause you hold a Canadian passport. Now spare a thought for those who are Indian citizens but have to provide proof of their nationalism every day just because they are Muslim or anti-BJP — Pritish Nandy (@PritishNandy) May 4, 2019 An ancient meme. Ghar se. Kuch dur Nikalte hi. Chalte hi pic.twitter.com/n3HoCYky9O — Canadian Nehr_who (@Nehr_who) May 3, 2019 Yep. #AkshayKumar's citizenship would not have been such an issue had he not patronised the reporter in such a condescending manner. Much of #Bollywood is so used to a docile media and choreographed interviews, that all it takes is one unscripted question! — Viju Cherian (@vijucherian) May 3, 2019 All valid stuff. So @akshaykumar why did you choose to be a Canadian rather than an Indian citizen? When you said being granted Canadian citizenship was a matter of pride, do you mean you value it more than Indian citizenship? Why do Modi & Co let you off the loyalty tests they set for others? https://t.co/BFllC6cFAZ — Kavita Krishnan (@kavita_krishnan) May 3, 2019 Important. Relax @akshaykumar, the banter on your nationality is completely APOLITICAL. Also can you please tell us, Canada mein 'aam' kaise khaate hain??? https://t.co/jF8gqJPJAb — Abhijeet Dipke (@abhijeet_dipke) May 3, 2019 He himself has created so much confusion. The issue is of obfuscation of facts. Were you ever given 'honorary' citizenship of Canada as you'd stated in an interview? Now it seems like you've chosen to be a Canadian citizen with nothing 'honorary' about it. Did you lie in your interview? https://t.co/ZGr0bBRR7P — Pratik Sinha (@free_thinker) May 3, 2019
  6. What's your go-to plan when your friends ditch you for the dinner you have been planning for ages? We are sure you, just like us, catch up with your favourite web series. OTT platforms have changed the whole idea of how we consume entertainment now, at least for a section of people and soon, we will see the OTT platforms have completely penetrated into our daily routines. With big names being a part of the web series, the similarity quotient has come in to play and people have got interest in watching original content which is just a click away. Many celebs are now trying to explore the web space and are not shying away from experimenting. Now, we have Akshay Kumar who is at the top of his game and he too is entering into the web arena. The revolution has begun as somebody of the stature of 'Khiladi' Kumar finally signed a deal with Abundantia Entertainment for a mutli-seasoned series, 'The End'. For all Akshay Kumar fans, it's sort of a win-win situation as they will get to see him on the big screen and on their laptop screens too. When Akshay announced that he will be part of 'The End', fans went crazy. MensXP got in touch with the producer of Akshay Kumar's upcoming web series 'The End', Vikram Malhotra, to know more details about this collaboration. © Abundantia Entertainment Akshay and Vikram have, in the past, collaborated on films like 'Airlift', 'Baby', 'Toilet – Ek Prem Katha', 'Special 26', and 'OMG - Oh My God'. We asked Vikram how is it different when it comes to web series. On this, Vikram told us, "Akshay and I have enjoyed a tremendous relationship built on mutual respect and alignment of creative and production sensibility and most importantly, it's the fundamental desire of story telling which is always attempting to break the mould or be a breaker of the genres that are conventional that we are part of. Having been a part of diverse films in a span of a year, so this was the time to take things to the next level. Working with him, I have learnt that what appeals him about stories and story telling is that he would always want to do something new and push the bar each time that he comes out for work. Therefore, the plan of doing an original series came to existence which in turn was genesis of 'The End'." Digging into more details, we told him that one of the reports claim that the show will have three seasons. Wondering if it's true or not, we asked him to clarify these reports. He said, "I will confirm to you that it's a multi-seasoned show and number of seasons can only be confirmed after we see how the story is progressing." Feeding to our curiosity, he said, "It's in the action adventure thriller space. It's a uniquely Indian story with human emotions and will surely connect with the audience across the country." Interestingly, Vikram's last venture 'Breathe' on Amazon Prime did pretty well. Cinema buffs appreciated the show for its originality and power-packed performances. Further into the conversation, we asked him that how does he see the change of A-Listers like Akshay venturing into the web space and giving it a broader outlook. "For us and foremost, it's about which actor fits the role which we have envisaged. If that actor happens to be from film world and therefore demands recognition, attention and love from their wider audience, it becomes a win win situation for all. I will tell you why it makes sense. OTT platforms are relatively new in India despite all the clutter and craze around them. For the lower strata of people to consume the content on these platforms, it's important for them to see a familiar face so that they get a reassurance about the value for their time and money they spent on the platform. As far as my shows are concerned, I am proud to say that no one could have pulled up the role of Danny Mascarenhas and Kabir Sawant better than R Madhavan and Amit Sadh respectively. Similarly, we see Abhishek Bachchan not only as a star moving to the OTT world making his digital debut but somebody who will elevate the role that he has in 'Breathe 2' significantly. When it comes to reigning superstar like Akshay Kumar, it is truly the gripping point because now you have someone who has millions of fans across the globe and he will be available in an original web series. I am checking at my end and I am sure that nowhere in the world you see a current reigning star for an original series as a lead," said Vikram. Considering Akshay always has a line-up of movies and now a full-fledged web series, wondering how has he been able to manage it at all? Well, if you have known Akshay, you would know that his discipline sets him apart from the rest of the industry and he puts in his 100% to the project that he gets into. Well, Vikram also thinks the same and told us, "If it comes to taking a toll and requiring to do hard work or being committed and disciplined, there's no better example than this man in our industry. Akshay's dedication, commitment and ability to push harder are the clear factors with which he becomes an obvious choice for the original web series, especially when the commitment is multi-seasoned. Not only he is doing three to four films a year but they are mostly high quality and highly conceptual which are not only doing well in terms of the creative appreciation but also at the box office. He is successfully managing it." After talking about Akshay and the whole revolution bit, our conversation panned into discussing some technicalities about the OTT platforms. How different are these platforms from each other, considering all the parameters -- recovery of the money spent, audience reach and the budget? Explaining us the concept behind it, he told us, "To begin with, they are completely different ecosystems and they are different not only because they are consumed differently but they are created differently. The technology that enables production, distribution and consumption is completely different. Secondly, how do you recover money is different as well because they are commissioned shows we are talking about. The audience reach is ever expanding and these are the future mediums and the control of what the viewer watches is entirely in the hands of the viewer. It's smaller than the conventional medium but if you are following the growth, you would know that an explosion is waiting to happen and it soon will become the primary medium of entertainment. Talking about budget, you can't put a generic number on it as it totally depends on many factors." With this, we were almost on the end of our conversation. We have seen Vikram's production house Abundantia creating a mark in both film space as well as online space. Taking the massive reach of 'Breathe', we asked him about the growth of Abundantia in the digital space. "Based on the building blocks that Abundantia was created on, we pay a lot of attention to what our audiences want and we take immense pride in collaborating with progressive storytellers who put lot of efforts and focus in creating content that connects with the audience. Abundantia realized this medium as the future of our industry as early as possible in 2015 when none of these big streaming platforms were available in the Indian market. We are building a separate unit that only focuses on the digital aspect. We have 'Breathe 2' coming up, 'The End' is in the production and many other shows are underway," answered Malhotra. © Abundantia Entertainment Before we finally ended the conversation, we asked him something that will be surely of your use. Yes, we asked him when the second season of 'Breathe 2' will be aired. "We have one last lap left for Breathe 2 and according to my sense, it should be out by next year," shared Vikram and signed off with a promise that he will keep us posted about the shows. Are you excited for 'The End' and 'Breathe 2'?
  7. This is the right time for a film like 'Kesari' to ride the patriotic wave that's risen in the country, as many who've misplaced their sense of belonging right now can bring it back with this insanely impactful movie. The Akshay Kumar starrer brewed a solid total of almost 100-crore in the first week of its release and if you haven't watched it yet, it's time to get your a*s to the nearest cinema. The film was released on the occasion of Holi, this year and currently it stands at 87 crore. © Zee Studios 'Kesari' is definitely and by far the biggest opener of 2019 and of course the second biggest show-stopper for Akshay Kumar, after 'Gold'. Fortunately, this also makes Akshay Kumar's ninth hit in a row after 'Gold' (102.10 crore), 'PadMan' (78.22 crore), 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' (132.07 crore), 'Jolly LLB 2' (117 crore), 'Rustom' (127.49 crore), 'Housefull 3' (109.14 crore), 'Airlift' (128.1 crore), and 'Singh Is Bliing' (89.95 crore). All we can really say is Kudos Akshay Kumar, you did good! © Pinterest Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also Tweeted his two bits on the success of the film. #Kesari shows an upward trend on Day 3 [Sat]... While it created an impact with most of the people, some of them thought it was too mainstream for a patriotic film. Rotten Tomatoes had about 11 reviews which were not very tasteful for the film. But other than that, the film did remarkably well, all over. © Zee Studios The film is based on the battle of Saragarhi, where 21 Sikh soldiers defended the fort of Saragarhi against 10,000 foreign invaders of the Pashtun fighters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, now in Pakistan. If you haven't seen it yet, here's the trailer, so you can finally make up your mind!
  8. Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer 'Kesari' hit the theatres on Holi yesterday, and the first 24-hours have brought in loads of good news for the actors and makers of the film. The Holi release turned out to be a huge plus for Akshay Kumar as viewership saw a steep rise as the day flourished, making 'Kesari' the highest opener of 2019 thus far, leaving behind 'Gully Boy' and 'Total Dhamaal' by a good margin. © Dharma Productions While Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starring blockbuster 'Gully Boy' acquired an opening day box office collection of Rs. 19.40 crores and Ajay Devgn multistarrer 'Total Dhamaal' bagged Rs. 16.50 crore on its opening day, 'Kesari' collected Rs. 21.50 crore on the very first day of its screening, thereby making it the highest and most successful Bollywood opener of 2019 so far. © Instagram Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter earlier to spell it all out for avid movie-goers ahead of the weekend that's teasing everyone's senses today. Now, while 2018 turned out to be a highly successful and satisfactory year for Akshay with all three of his releases, 'Padman', 'Gold' and '2.0' performing really well at the box office, 2019 is also looking very promising for him with almost five other films scheduled for release. However, for now, it is 'Kesari' that has been garnering all the interest and rightly so.

  11. The moment someone mentions Bollywood, the first thought that comes to our mind is the luxurious lifestyle of our beloved celebrities lead, the crazy fame and fan-following they enjoy and of course, the insane amount of money they earn per film. But, it's very rare when someone shows us the other side of the coin. A side which is dark and filled with thorns, miseries and struggles. Meet Savi Sidhu, whose story is a reflection of how unpredictable an actor's life can be. A man who was once an actor is now working as a security guard. © YouTube For most of us, Savi Sidhu might be a name we are hearing for the first time, but this man had once shared the screen with Akshay Kumar, Dimple Kapadia and Rishi Kapoor in 'Patiala House'. He has also worked in movies like 'Gulaal', 'Black Friday' and 'Bevakoofiyan'. He played Commissioner Samra in 'Black Friday'. But, today the man does not even have money to buy movie tickets. Now, Savi Sidhu is working as a security guard and a video featuring his life story was recently shared on YouTube. © YouTube The video begins with him talking about how Bollywood happened to him. "Anurag Kashyap mile, struggle karte karte toh mujhe Paanch mei liya, unki jo pehli film thi release nahi hui. Uske baad unhone mujhe 'Black Friday' mei liya, one of the main characters that is Commissioner Samra ka role kiya maine then unke sath maine 'Gulaal' bhi kari. Maine Yash Raj, Subhash ji ke sath, Nikhil Advani ke sath 'Patiala House' kari." While talking about his toughest phase, Sidhu who does a 12-hour shift as a security guard in a housing society said, "Sabse tough phase wo tha when I lost my wife". After that, he lost his father, mother and in-laws too. Eventually, he became alone, "akela hote hote alone". © YouTube Today he does not even have the money for bus tickets and watching a movie has become a distant dream for him. "Bohot filme miss kar raha hoon... dekhne ka mann karta hai par meri financial position aisi hai", he further added. Sidhu does not blame Bollywood for his struggle, "Kaam ki kabhi problem nahi hui. Mujhe hi chhodna pada ki mai nahi kar pa raha hoon. You know... it was like kya mere liye wait kar raha hai... yaha jaise logo ko kaam milta nahi aur mere pas itna kaam hai ki mai kaam nahi kar pa raha. Meri financial problems bhi badh gayi, health problems bhi badh gayi toh kaam khatam ho gaya." Although Sidhu might be going through one of the toughest times of his life, he is still hopeful that one day he is going to come back to Bollywood with a bang, and we hope that we get to see him on the big screen once more.
  12. The desire to build something of their own and focus their grey cells honed by academic excellence in the field of technology, made two friends set out on a very innovative journey, which could change how the world views Indian technology. Akshay Singhal has been working in the field of Nanotechnology for the last 7 years and hold great knowledge of Nanotechnology and Material Science. Along with co-founder Kartik Hajela, the duo set out to build Log 9 Materials from a lab set up in Akshay's backyard. © Mensxp Log 9 Materials is one of our country's leading Nanotechnology companies that specializes in Graphene. So, while Akshay looks after overall research and operations of Log 9 Materials. Kartik takes care of the commercial and market introduction aspect of the products that are launched by the company. However, the duo swears by Graphene and the immense potential it holds. What Is Graphene? © Mensxp Graphene is the most advanced form of Carbon that exists in this world, which was discovered in 2004. Related to graphite at the core, but Graphene is different in properties. It is more conducting than copper and stronger than steel! It has such diverse properties that can be put to use in different areas across the board. What Does Log 9 Material Do? The first product that they launched when they were in college, was a cigarette filter called PPuF. Next, they began to explore the oil filtration domain, and the findings so far have been very promising. They came up with the Log9 Pad which is laced with graphene, which can bring about a positive change during oil spills by absorbing the oil spilt on the water surface. © Mensxp However, their latest product in the pipeline is the Metal-Air Battery. Kartik says, “The battery is still a working prototype and we are working on it. However, the essence of the technology comes in E.V.s.” Yet, the challenges related to belief have been real, both from the side of investors as well as consumers. Because both investors and consumers have a hard time placing their faith, that something of such potential can be developed and manufactured in India. Life at Log9 © Mensxp Log 9 Materials is a team of 34 people from engineering backgrounds, and they have scientists as well as marketing wizards. The company seeks people from the said background because regardless of what they do, they need to have technical competency. The average of the team is around 26 and most of them come from materials, chemical or nanotechnological background. These committed and ambitious people have come on board to innovate and build something that would impact the world. © Mensxp Akshay and Kartik want aspiring entrepreneurs to take that leap of faith, if they have faith in their own ideas and know that it will work. As for Akshay he says, “if you really want to do something, do it today rather than tomorrow. Also, hold your ground. Don't buy into or accept whatever is offered, but hold your ground and things will fall into place.”

  15. Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan happen to be one of the biggest names in the Bollywood industry and theirs is the kind of bromance that most of us grew up watching. While today the world mostly talks about on-screen chemistry in relation to the lead male and female actors in a film, Akshay and Saif's chemistry, back in the day, evoked similar sizzle on-screen, with its ability to strike a chord with the flamboyant, young male audience. © BCCL From amongst the handful of movies that Akshay and Saif did together, from 'Yeh Dillagi', 'Tu Chor Main Sipahi', to 'Keemat', 'Aarzoo' and even 'Tashan', 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' remains their greatest entertainer. So. when Akshay recently shared a hilarious anecdote related to the film, during a chat with film critic and entertainment reporter Rajeev Masand, fans couldn't hold back their guffaws. Recalling their chemistry and friendship from the days gone by, Akshay told Rajeev that during the premiere of 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' in Delhi, he made a funny mess on-stage and that left Saif in splits. © United Seven Creations Talking about the incident, Akshay said, “I also have a very good memory about when we had gone for the premiere... it is very funny what happened that day. Rageshwari, Shilpa, me, Saif... We had gone to Delhi. Now suddenly on stage, this guy comes and says: 'Ab Akshayji, aap ko AIDS ke baare mein kuch kehna hai'. I didn't know the whole premiere was for charity for AIDS. Mr Ratan Jain (the producer of the film) didn't tell us; he forgot. Because I am the senior, they have called me first. Saif is looking at me and he's laughing, he knows I am nervous, he knows I don't know what to say suddenly. And guess what I must have said; I can never forget what I said.” © Yash Raj Films Yes, trust Akshay when he says that what he said that evening is unforgettable, but kudos to his presence of mind which may have ultimately saved the day, because he came up with the most hilarious thing to say. “I had no idea what to say and I just went and I said: 'Doston, anari mat bano, condom istemal karo aur khiladi bano.” Can you beat that? He was unprepared and came up with this, imagine what a more prepared Akshay would have come up with? We bet it couldn't beat this on any given day, because it is so on point.
  16. Akshay Kumar never ceases to amaze us with all the outrageous things he does. He's the ultimate stuntman of Bollywood and well, his stunts are now even escaping the big screen to real-life. He can set any stage or runway on fire just because it's him, but yesterday, he decided to make things a little more literal. By now, everyone has probably seen a literally lit Akshay Kumar walking down the ramp in a suit that was on fire. 17. We all know that Akshay Kumar and stunts always go hand in hand, but despite being 51, the man refuses to give up. He manages to make us lose our minds by resorting to stunts which leave us all flabbergasted, even now. The latest instance? His fiery ramp walk. Now, you'd think that he walked so good that we're calling it 'fire', metaphorically, but wait till you see the real deal. He walked the ramp wearing a suit that was literally set on fire.
