  2. While the Indian cricket team did not have the ideal start to their very first match after the coronavirus lockdown was lifted as Australian openers Aaron Finch and David Warner were sitting on a 127 run partnership (at the time of writing this article), it was the Indian cricket board that faced instant heat online when they asked about the retro jersey that was introduced during this series. How many retweets for #TeamIndia's retro kit?#AUSvIND pic.twitter.com/R4E7063bQn — BCCI (@BCCI) November 27, 2020 The official Twitter handle of BCCI asked their followers to retweet their post if they liked the new look of the classic 1992 World Cup jersey. Instead, they received a lot of backlash simply because of how ‘in-your-face’ the sponsor logos are. Was that India's jersey or Byju's jersey ?? Difference is Nike and Mpl . Mpl logo size is bigger as it is different from nike's "tick" pic.twitter.com/rb859wDa7s — Pratimaan Priyam (@PratimaanPriyam) November 27, 2020Is it BYJU'S team or the national team...can't @BCCI sponsor the jersey. Why are we paying taxes ?? — Pranav Kumar Jha (@PranavK58992173) November 27, 2020Cheeeee.. seems to be Byjus team than India's team — Sandeep Khaitan (@Sandeepkhaitan) November 27, 2020 It is worth clarifying that the jersey itself looks pretty decent and pays homage to the ones worn by Sachin Tendulkar and Co during their World Cup campaign over 28 years ago. It is simply the massive BYJU’s and MLP logos that take away the attention from the fact that it is truly a Team India jersey and not a brand-centric kit. The typical blue and orange jersey continues to be a national favourite, however, when it comes to showing innovation and designing new alternatives, the Indian cricket board has failed to impress, be it the jersey during the Australia series or the ones designed for World Cup 2019 - which many people mistook as the uniform of a petrol pump employee. These new jerseys are amazing! But glad they're only for this one game coming up. #BleedFuel #INDvENG #CWC19 pic.twitter.com/xHIRTU9gSX — Siddharth (@Actor_Siddharth) June 29, 2019 The Indian cricket team are stationed Down Under for a massive tour which includes all three formats of the game. While the three-match ODI series kicked off today, the three-match T20I series will begin from December 4, 2020 and the first of four Tests is scheduled to begin from December 17. Indian captain Virat Kohli will be returning home on paternity leave after playing the first Test at Adelaide to be with his wife and family for the birth of his first child. Meanwhile, there has been a “lack of clarity” on the injury update of Rohit Sharma, as explained by Kohli ahead of the first ODI. Addressing the media in a video, Kohli said: "Right now, there is so much uncertainty and whether they (Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma) are going to make it and if they are going to make it at all or not. After that (the selection meeting) he played in the IPL and we all thought he would be on that flight to Australia and we had no information on why he is not travelling with us. There has been no information, there has been a lack of clarity." View the full article
  3. he iPhone 12 Pro Max is arguably one the most expensive smartphones launched by Apple and the basic variant starts at around $1099 depending on where you are. A delivery man who was asked to deliver 14 iPhone 12 Pro Max units, fled with the consignment after the shipment was handed over to him for delivery. © Reuters (representational purposes only) The delivery man, whose name was Tang, worked for a Chinese shopping platform called Meituan-Dianping. According to the report, the devices were picked up from an Apple authorised store clerk in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province of China. Meituan Delivery was given the order to deliver a package containing 14 brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max devices to a different Apple store. Instead of delivering the package, Tang cancelled the order and paid 10 yuan for defaulting. He then vanished with the phones costing 10,000 yuan (around $1,500). The store clerk was unable to contact him after the delivery was cancelled. However, Tang was apprehended within a short time with ten unopened iPhone 12 Pro Max boxes. He had already opened four boxes from the total order where one was opened for personal use and the other was given to a friend to pay off a debt. The third unit was mortgaged to a pawn shop at 9,500 yuan and the fourth unit was sold to a mobile phone dealer at 7,000 yuan. Tang, with his newfound cash went on a spending spree as he bought a new dress and rented a BMW for fun which cost him 600 yuan a day. The four units that were sold or pawned were subsequently recovered by the police. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla The delivery company Meituan has since banned Tang from its network for life and has issued an industry-wide blacklist preventing him from getting work at any other courier company. Tang will likely also face criminal prosecution by the Chinese Government. This is not an exclusive incident as delivery persons have been found stealing gadgets, smartphones and other valuable items in India as well. Often, delivery personnel would replace these items with bricks, soap bars and other heavy items to fool customers when they deliver orders. View the full article

  5. Chennai Super Kings end their Indian Premier League 2020 campaign with a three-game winning streak and acting as the show spoilers for KL Rahul and Kings XI Punjab, knocking them out of contention for a playoff spot. Nonetheless, this season of the Indian T20 league has been the worst for CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni in terms of numbers, as he scored an even 200 runs with the batting average of 25, a massive statistical drop as compared to his second-worst season in 2016. View this post on Instagram Having said that, in the post match conference after the win against Punjab, a surprisingly upbeat Dhoni could be seen getting interviewed by Harsha Bhogle and gave a lot of insight towards the future of the prestigious franchise that CSK has aged to become. Dhoni spoke about bringing certain changes in the core team, the coaching staff and having over the team to the next generation (even though rumours of Dhoni returning to captain the #YellowArmy have already begun to spread out). ️ @GautamGambhir: "MS has given everything [to CSK]: heart and soul, his sweat, sleepless nights" Gambhir believes #CSK will retain MS Dhoni as their captain in 2021 pic.twitter.com/zhU4l25jhm — ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) October 29, 2020 But the highlight of the interview came when Bhogle asked the former Indian skipper if he had some of his jerseys left, as in almost every match this season, one of the members of the opposing side requested the 39-year-old for the autographed t-shirt he’d wear in game time. "Maybe they thought I am retiring. I have retired from international cricket maybe I will retire from the shortest format also," Dhoni said with a smile on his face. A lot has been said about the concept of a Dhoni-less CSK going ahead. His lack of match-finishing abilities, especially this season, became the centre of debate for countless cricket pundits and analysts. Many critics slammed the wicket-keeper batsman for not “leading the team from front”, hiding behind younger talents to get the win and eventually blaming the same young members of his team for lacking to show “spark” during the matches. MS DHONI - Youngsters are not showing spark Meanwhile Ruturaj#jadeja #CSKvKKR pic.twitter.com/bpi3yhRwRm — tuk tuk academy (@tuktuk_lover) October 29, 2020 However, all those words went to the garbage bin when ahead of the match between Chennai and Punjab, Dhoni straightaway quashed the talks of calling it quits when Danny Morrison asked him about his plans of retiring after this season at toss. “Definitely not,” Dhoni replied and set the records straight with just two words. It seems as if Mahi is not going away anytime soon. As long as the cricketer wants to play and as long as the franchise is willing to pay for his resources, MS Dhoni will continue to be a part of the Indian Premier League, regardless of what fans, analysts and critics have to say about his on-field effectiveness. 6. PUBG Mobile was banned in India however it did not stop gamers from playing the game if it was already installed on a smartphone. Recently, a man in Meerut district attacked his father and slashed his neck when he was asked to not play PUBG Mobile. The father suffered a critical injury in the incident and later, it was discovered the son had slashed his own neck with the same knife. Both the son and father have been admitted to the Meerut Medical College. © MensXP The incident was not reported to the police immediately and took place earlier last week on Thursday in Jamuna Nagar in Kharkhoda town of Meerut district. The son slashed his father’s throat when he was asked to reduce spending long hours gaming. The son then slashed his father’s neck multiple times as he got upset with his criticism. The family also said that the son was addicted to drugs and was undergoing treatment for the problem, according to the police. © MensXP This is not the first time PUBG Mobile has been the cause of violent or horrific incidents in India amongst the youth and addicted players. We had compiled a list of recent incidents in India that were caused due to addiction to the game. Recently, a 16-year-old teenager died because of the game as he skipped meals and instead, opted to play games for a long duration. It ended up causing him severe dehydration which eventually, led to his death due to his addiction to the game. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Even though PUBG Mobile has taken measures to curb addiction it still isn’t enough to deter incidents similar to the ones we have mentioned. ' As mentioned earlier, the game was banned in the country due to its close ties with Chinese company Tencent Games. However, users can still play the game as the servers never closed down and users can sideboard the game from numerous websites that host the APK file on their websites. View the full article

How impactful is daily pace-walking for weight loss? Does it adversely affect our muscle mass? View this post on InstagramA post shared by (@yatindersingh_official) As per my opinion, brisk walk is even more effective than running but you need to do it for a longer duration like 45-50 minutes per day. However, you should take care of the pace as well. 7.5-8 Km/hr would be counted as a brisk walk and you need to maintain the pace throughout. The effectiveness can be increased by adding 2 things: If it is done empty stomach in morning Avoid eating anything within 30 minutes after completing the walk. It will definitely help in weight loss. Also, just to clarify it does not adversely affect our muscle mass if your nutrition is on point. 4. 13. Former Indian skipper and batsman Rahul Dravid has always been considered to be one of the most humble, calm and thoughtful people to have played for the Indian cricket team. He spoke very little, tried to be good friends and teammates with everyone and let his bat do the talking for him on the field. That is probably why even the biggest names from Indian cricket, like current BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and âgod of cricketâ Sachin Tendulkar respected his opinion and listened to him. © Reuters During an interview with Sportskeeda on Facebook, Team Indiaâs ex-manager Lalchand Rajput shared one such incident during which the two legends of the game agreed with Dravid, who wanted them to let the younger players play in the first-ever T20 World Cup in 2007. âYes, it is true,ââRajput said. âRahul Dravid was the captain in England and some players came directly from England to Johannesburg (for the tournament) so they said âletâs give an opportunity to the youngstersâ. But after winning the World Cup they must have repented it when we won the World Cup." It was one of Sachin Tendulkarâs greatest wishes to win a world cup for the country during his magnificent career. He had been a part of the team for over a decade by then and still looking for that glory. © Reuters When the T20 World Cup took place, nobody expected India to win. Also, not a lot of players took the 20-over format of the game that seriously back then. So, when Dravid approached the senior players, they were fine with letting this one go. âUltimately, he (Sachin) won in 2011, but he was dying to win that World Cup, and this team won on the first attempt,â Rajput said. âI was a cricket manager of the 2007 T20 World Cup team. It was a big challenge, because it was a young team. There were a few experienced players, but the real seniors did not play with this team. It was a real opportunity for me as I was the coach for the first time, MS Dhoni was the captain for the first time. So, we really gelled well,â Rajput said. © Twitter /One For All âOur theme during the World Cup was âtension lene ka nahi, dene ka and Dhoni really believed in the motto that people will talk things, but we need to focus on our strengths, and donât have to worry about what others are saying. âThis was the first time T20I World Cup was played, and we had a lot of hungry, young fellows, who were looking to make a name for themselves, and get a permanent place for themselves in the Indian Team. It was a good platform. © Twitter /One For All âThere were certain senior players who were looking to make a comeback and cement their place in the team. It was a good mixture of senior and junior players. The T20I tournament is for young legs, you got to run around, and energetic, and super fit, and this made the difference in the team.â View the full article
