  1. There's nothing better than finding a sharp comeback or quoting something wise when your back is against the wall. Words can indeed be mightier than a sword. Following are some of the most awesome comebacks from famous movies or TV series which you can use on one occasion or the other: 1. When You Tell A Joke And Your Friend Doesn't Laugh: “I'll explain and I'll use small words so that you'll be sure to understand.” —The Princess Bride 2. When Your Friend Does A Silly Thing: “You are what the French call, les incompetent.” – Home Alone 3. When Someone Goes Below The Belt: “You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity.” – Toy Story 4. When Your Crush Asks You If She Should Laugh At Your Silly Joke: “Go ahead, make my day.” – Sudden Impact 5. When Someone Roasts You Badly In A Group: “You talking to me?” – Taxi Driver 6. When Your Girlfriend Complains You Drink Too Much: “Well, nobody's perfect.” – Some Like It Hot 7. When Your Bae Asks Why Are You Visiting The Friends/Relatives You Hate: “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.” – The Godfather II 8. When A Guy You Hate Tells You He'll Destroy You In Front Of Your Bae: "You come at the king, you best not miss." – The Wire 9. When Someone Is Trying To Roast You: “You're boring me.” – Blackish 10. When Your Drunk A*s Gets Into A Fight With The Bouncer & Your Friends Ask You To Chill: “I laugh in the face of danger!” – The Lion King Whatever the situation is, a wise-ass reply will make you savage!
  2. The Indian cricket team began their ICC World Cup 2019 journey on a high with a brilliant and a tactically sound victory against Faf du Plessis' South African team, handing them their third straight loss of the tournament and spoiling it for them even further. Led by an extremely lucky Rohit Sharma who managed to score his 23rd ODI ton while being dropped by the Proteas fielders on numerous occasions, Team India was able to get this victory with extreme ease and comfort. However, ahead of the match, while the Men in Blue were getting a lot of messages of good luck and positivity, there was one message in particular that caught our attention: YOU CAN DO IT! #WWEChampion @TrueKofi wishes @imVkohli, @msdhoni and the entire #TeamIndia all the luck and positivity! @ICC #INDvSA pic.twitter.com/ASGVgGYsqF — WWE (@WWEIndia) June 5, 2019 Well, it seems as if the WWE superstar and champion Kofi Kingston is a fan of Indian cricket and is rooting for Virat Kohli's Team India during the Cricket World Cup 2019 in England. “What's going on y'all, it is your WWE champion Kofi Kingston here with a very important message for the 'boy in blues',” said the athlete. “Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni and the rest of Team India, I want to wish you guys the utmost luck in the ICC cricket cup...” Kingston knows a thing or two about positivity. As a member of one of the most successful trios in WWE history, The New Day member put his body on the line every week in order to entertain his fans without complaining about the lack of opportunity for the greatest title in wrestling entertainment, he had experienced for more than five years. And then finally, when the opportunity presented itself to the in-ring performer, Kingston capitalised on it and became the WWE Champion by defeating Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 35 to fulfil his dream. Kingston's narrative resembles that of the Bleed Blue team who, with all their potential and qualities were waiting for the opportunity to win the cricket world championship for their nation for the third time and now that they have the opportunity to do so, are ready to capitalise. Indian fans of wrestling and cricket got to Twitter to reply to the 37-year-old high-flyer: Thank you ð𤠗 Shena brar (@imshena_) June 6, 2019 We did it in the first game..ðð®ð³ð®ð³ð — Abhishek (@abhi3627) June 5, 2019 We did it. — Vivek singh (@Singh_viveksi) June 5, 2019 We did it. — Vivek singh (@Singh_viveksi) June 5, 2019
  3. 'Brahmastra' is one of the most-anticipated films of 2020 for ample of reasons. Firstly, the movie will see Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt pairing up together for the first time on-screen. They have been in the headlines for their budding relationship and now, fans can't wait to see them on the silver screen. Second is that fact that the movie is a supernatural drama by Ayan Mukerji. The team is currently shooting for the movie in Varanasi and the BTS pictures from the sets are doing the rounds on social media. In the photos, you can see Ranbir and Alia holding their hands and standing on a boat looking pensive, while they were shooting for a song sequence on Chet Singh Ghat in Varanasi. The major portion of the shoot will happen at the Ramnagar Fort in Varanasi. In the photos, you can see Alia wearing a red shrug with a white top and denim and Ranbir is dressed in an olive green shirt and denim. The pictures of the two have been curated by many of their fan clubs and the movie is beginning to look really promising. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia and Akkineni Nagarjuna in key roles. Talking about the film, Alia had earlier told PTI, "We are very excited about the film. It is a step ahead. This will take cinema to another level." The film is all set to hit the screen in Summer 2020. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments below.
  4. Last night, Apple announced a bunch of new features for the upcoming iOS 13 update and it will be available for users by this fall. Some features bring stability and performance improvements. While there are general improvements, Apple has also added new features and a brand new dark mode. If you've been wondering what all Apple announced last night, here's our comprehensive list for the smartphone. A Faster FaceID Apple announced that the facial recognition process from the TrueDepth camera will be 30% faster than what we are used to right now. The faster unlocking will help users get into their smartphones without having to wait for FaceID to recognise your face. The process is already fast enough but with the 30% improvement, it could really change the way we would unlock iPhones. Dark Mode © Apple A dark mode for iPhone is one the most sought after features and Apple finally made it a reality last night. The iPhone's interface will change into darker tones and will also translate to system-wide apps and third-party apps who enable the feature. The new dark mode comes with added benefits such as better battery life and the fact that it would put less strain on your eyes. Sign In With Apple © Apple Apple has made it easier for customers to now protect themselves with a new “Sign in with Apple” feature. You will no longer have to use Facebook or Google sign in which can be later used to track your activity. Apple wants to protect users by providing a developer with a random unique ID. Users will also have the option to keep their identities a secret and share relevant information with the application. Apple has also integrated FaceID and Touch ID for this feature as an additional layer of security. More Photo Editing Tools © Apple Apple is now going to make it easier to manage and edit images on iOS 13 thanks to machine learning. The Photos app will be able to highlight the best images, automatically remove duplicate images or screenshots and will intelligently organise your library. It will be even easier to discover and browse your images. Photo editing tools have now been expanded with more Portrait Lighting adjustments, more editing tools, new effects and a better interface. Apple has also introduced a new High-Key Mono effect that creates a monochromatic look for Portrait mode photos. Additional Features - Messages can automatically share a user's name and photo, or customised Memoji or Animoji -With AirPods, Siri can read incoming messages as soon as they arrive, from Messages or any SiriKit™-enabled messaging app - Two AirPods can listen to content from a single iPhone as Apple introduced a new audio sharing feature. - Voice Control provides a powerful new experience that enables users to operate their iPhone, iPad or Mac entirely by their voice. - Files app introduces the ability to share folders with iCloud Drive and access files from external storage devices like SD cards and USB flash drives. - Reminders app has a new look and offers intelligent ways to create and edit reminders.
  5. We have all been there - we go to the outlet of our favourite clothing brand, or the one that has some awesome deals on denims, browse through their offerings, try a fit or two, pick them up and call it a day. Rarely do we even think of customising them, apart from the slight alterations here and there. As a result, the world now seems lost in a sea of common and quite frankly, boring denims - be it a shirt, jacket or jeans. However, it does not have to be that way. A few brave souls have shown the world that adding bling to your regular old denims is a guaranteed way to turn heads. Do it right, and you may even be crowned as the fashion guru in your college or office. The key here is to balance things out. Go overboard, and you may end up looking like a 7-year-old girl's Ken Doll. However, if like us, going subtle as well as over the top is your thing, then read on. 1. Whacky Prints © Instagram Fans of prints, make some noise! Prints are, by far, the easiest way to get your favourite denim customised. There are plenty of service providers in most tier I and tier II cities, who can print out your favourite movie poster, or graphics on your jacket, or shirt. Alternatively, there are several denim makers who will do that for you. Just ensure that you don't go for an actual photograph, and certainly not one of yours. That just looks tacky. 2. Embroider Your Heart Out © Pinterest Embroidering stuff onto your denim shirt or denim jacket can totally change the look of your outfit and elevate it to a whole new level. Plus, because it is often done by hand, embroidery adds a distinct legacy to the piece. Similar to prints, there are tons of designs that you can go for. And, if you want to take the personalisation to a whole new level, you can always take it upon yourself to create your own masterpiece. 3. Catchy Patchy © Etsy Are you a fan of the EPL and want to shout it out to the rest of the world? Or, like any other woke millennial, do you support causes that leave your parents confused and dazed? Try adding a few patches to your denim. Now, there are two ways to go about it. You can either pick ones that need to be stitched on to your piece, which is super easy to do if you know your way around a needle and some thread. Or, you can go for an even easier route and pick up a few options that can be ironed on. The best thing about patches is that they can be added and removed as one wishes to. In effect, one can actually play to one's heart's content with patches. 4. Custom Leather Patches © Etsy Of all the things that we have listed here, nothing is as subtle as a personalised leather patch. One would ask why would one to customise something like a leather patch, a thing that is no one even looks at? Well, leather patches are one of the very few pieces that can actually bear your name, without seeming to be too full of yourself. Plus, there are tons of other designs, most of which are very classy and distinct. 5. Colour & Dye © Pinterest When it comes to coloured denims, most of us believe that singular shades are the way to go. However, if you have ever seen a reputable fashion house's summer or spring launch, you will realise that it is not necessarily true. Dyed denims, especially jeans, can be mesmerising to look at and a really fun way to make, if you choose to dye your denims, yourself. Because there are tons of options in terms of colours and oxidation processes, you don't really know what you may end up with. That's actually the fun part. Just to play it safe, we suggest that you first do a trial run, perhaps on your younger sibling's jeans before you commit to your own piece.
  6. Apple today finally introduced the new iPod touch with subtle enhancements such as the inclusion of Apple's A10 Fusion chip. The chip will bring improved performance in games, and for the first time augmented reality (AR) features and Group FaceTime. © Apple “We're making the most affordable iOS device even better with performance that is twice as fast as before, Group FaceTime and augmented reality starting at just $199,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple's vice president of Product Marketing. “The ultra-thin and lightweight design of iPod touch has always made it ideal for enjoying games, music and so much more wherever you go.” © Apple The iPod touch will come in different storage options i.e. 32GB, 128GB and 256GB options. Users will be able to listen to music both offline and online via Apple Music and iTunes Store, including radio shows like Beats 1 Radio. © Apple The iPod touch will also be able to take advantage of ARkit enabled games and apps for gaming, education and web browsing purposes. The iPod touch will also be able to pair up with AirPods just like it can with other iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad. The new iPod touch starts at Rs 18,900 for the 32GB model, Rs 28,900 for the 128GB model and Rs 38,900 for the 256GB model and is available through Apple Authorised Resellers and select carriers. India availability dates are yet to confirmed but we expect them to hit store shelves soon.
  7. The most commonly requested feature by Apple users, is the ability to share music with their friends. In fact, since Apple removed the headphone jack, it has become harder to listen to music along with your friends. Wired earphones let users share music with each other by sharing each earbud. However, sharing AirPods or any wireless Bluetooth device is a big pain but it seems like Apple has already found a fix. © Apple Currently, iPhone and iPad support multiform audio via AirPlay 2 and it works on speakers that support the feature. I use the multi-room system on my Sonos setup using Apple's AirPlay feature. However, a new report by Macotakara spotted by 9to5Mac says that Apple will be adding dual Bluetooth audio support for the iPhone 11 or whatever it will be called. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Dual Bluetooth output has been a long requested feature which essentially means that two people can listen to the same audio content from one iPhone. For example, if you and your friend both have AirPods, you will be able to listen to the same music simultaneously from an iPhone on your own set of AirPods. Currently, the iPhone only supports connecting one audio device at a time which makes it harder to share Bluetooth devices to listen to music at the same time. © Apple The iPhone, however, does support multiple Bluetooth connections already as the iPhone can communicate with the Apple Watch and transmit music to the AirPods simultaneously. Dual Bluetooth audio output is not a new concept as some Android devices already support this feature and it would be great to see this on the iPhone as well. Having said that, using dual Bluetooth audio output has its own drawbacks as it often leads to unstable connections and synchronisation. It would be interesting to see how Apple would tackle this issue. There's a good chance that Apple may refresh its W1 chip for this feature to work. Of course, this is a rumoured feature that we may or may not see on the next iPhone and needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. Having said that, the AirPods are one of Apple's most successful products since the iPhone and are more of a social phenomenon today. It would be logical for the Cupertino giant to make this feature available on the iPhone for AirPods users to enjoy music together. Source: Macotakara
  8. Imagine being able to say it out loud: “I am the only person to skate in Antarctica and have my name in a record book to prove it.” Well, Lakshmi Sona Singh can actually do it. Getting her name registered in India's prestigious Limca Book of Records (2019), the 35-year-old London based amateur skater put on her roller blades, stepped onto the Paradise Harbour, Antarctica and glided her way into becoming the first (and only) person to do so, on 16 December 2017. Credit: Lakshmi Sona Singh Working as a Sales Manager in a UK-based telecom services company, Lakshmi had been a great skating enthusiast ever since her childhood days in Surat, Gurjarat, where her parents introduced her to a set of wheels when she was six. However, much like the most of us, education, a good job and the ever-so-heavy burden of settling down became her priorities with her love for skating got buried deep within her heart. But as they say, “passion never dies.” Nearly three decades later, Lakshmi decided to turn her dreams of skating among the pristine surroundings of Antarctica, into reality. “I just decided to pack a bag and grab my skates,” she told us. Credit: Lakshmi Sona Singh Sure, her journey to Antarctica was not that easy. Saving up for this single trip for years, Lakshmi faced some criticism from her parents and her brother, who thought it was impossible and absolutely crazy for her to continue to work towards this goal of hers. But when she finally booked her tickets and fervourly called her parents at 3 in the morning to break the news, they had to give in to her unshaken commitment. “I was confident about finishing my journey. There was so much excitement that there was no room for nervousness, although I did get a lot of strange looks from the people who were around me on the ship when they saw my roller blades,” she said jokingly. Credit: Lakshmi Sona Singh She also had to let go of one of her clothing baggage as the weight of the roller blades itself was too much to carry, but Lakshmi was on a mission and it was a very small price to pay. Now that this endeavour of hers has come to a successful end, Lakshmi is determined to skate at the North Pole next and eventually on every other continent, with the hopes of making another record of skating on all seven continents. We wish her the best of luck!
  9. Developing games is not an easy task, especially for Apple where everything published on the App Store needs to follow set guidelines and respect a user's privacy. In fact, publishing an app on Apple's platform involves a lot of hard work, paperwork and quality control. In order to help budding app developers, Apple has a dedicated “App Accelerator” that helps people in developing applications that don't only meet Apple's standards but also help in the development cycle. © SmartHunch Meet Namit Nangia, founder at Smarthunch who developed a very unique game that was launched on Apple's App Store in March earlier this year. The game is called “What the Fish!” That is essentially an auto-running game with a very unique feature. Players are able to control their character by simply blinking. In order to jump over obstacles, players have to blink so that the little fish is able to keep going forward. The game is able to easily identify and differentiate between regular blinks from forced ones as it follows a custom physics engine. The character in the game would only jump when a user blinks longer than 180ms. Alternatively, if you don't want to blink, you can always use the touch mechanics to play the game. The game is currently available for iPhone Xs, Xs Max, XR & X and iPad Pro 2018 (at 120 frames per second) and uses the TrueDepth camera system to track your blinking patterns. 'What The Fish!' Currently sells on Apple App Store for Rs 160 but the biggest challenge remains is the game's growth in India. India heavily relies on free mobile gaming however with Apple's new Apple Arcade service right around the corner, there is a chance we might see games like "What The Fish!” as a part of the service. This will enable gamers to play undiscovered games like “What The Fish!” and countless others for a single fee. So How Does Apple Help Developers? © SmartHunch When speaking to Mr Nangia, he said: “It isn't hard to incorporate the TrueDepth's API in a game, however, it is hard to get it approved by Apple.” This is where Apple's App Accelerator comes in as it helps developers to understand and learn new advances in Apple ecosystem from Apple experts directly. The Cupertino giant has one in Bengaluru, India that enables developers like Mr Nangia to better understand the iOS platform and take advantage to create new games and applications. It helps developers understand platform-optimised frameworks or advise in creating a great user experience. Apple hosts presentations for developers and it's free to attend. Following guidelines that involve developing apps that use Apple's ARkit or the TrueDepth camera is even harder. “Since it is harder to follow these guidelines, Apple helped me with feedback and understanding the guidelines better” Are you a developer looking to publish your own app or game on Apple's App Store? You can also take advantage of Apple's App Accelerator for free to get feedback, mentorship and guidance.

We've put together a list of some of the coolest tech gift items that you can give your mother this year and make her feel special. Let's take a look: 1. Fitness Trackers © Mi If your mother is planning to step up her fitness game, then you can help her out a bit by gifting her a fitness band. Picking up a fitness tracker is pretty easy these days, as there are a ton of options to choose from. You can get a really good fitness tracker for as little as Rs 1,999. Xiaomi's Mi Band 3, Honor Band 4, Fitbit range fitness bands are some of your options. 2. Smart Speakers © Youtube A mother usually has a lot on her plate. She's mostly the one taking care of chores to keep the house running. Then why not make her life easier by buying her a smart speaker? The Google Home Mini and the Amazon Echo Dot are your best options right now. They're just as good as any other smart speaker and they won't break your bank. Your mom can use it to get step-by-step instructions for a new recipe, organize events, calendar, and more. 3. A Budget Smartphone © MensXP If your mom is due for a smartphone upgrade, then get her a new smartphone. There are a ton of budget phones to pick from and we're sure you'll find a great option for her. Xiaomi's Redmi Note 7 Pro, for instance, is a great option. It performs a tad bit better and has a great camera for taking selfies and pictures. 4. Apple iPad Mini (2019 © Youtube Apple's new iPad Mini is undoubtedly one of the best tablets you can buy right now. The refreshed iPad Mini has a lot going for it. 11. This year, Samsung debuted a new device alongside the highly anticipated Galaxy S10 and the S10 Plus called the Galaxy S10e. It's the cheapest phone of Samsung's flagship lineup this year, yet it doesn't skimp out on features. In fact, we think some Galaxy S10e features make it better than the other two flagship phones in the lineup, and here are 4 of those awesome features - 1. The Size © YouTube The Samsung Galaxy S10e is, without a doubt, one of the most compact phones to come out this year so far. Having used a lot of 'big' phones this year, we really had a great time using the Galaxy S10e. The overall footprint of the phone is so small that you can comfortably hold it in your hands. The Galaxy S10e measures just 69.9mm in height, making it short and handy phone. Also, the phone weighs just 150 grams, which makes it very light too. It's comparable to the likes of some other compact phone which we've seen in the past like the Pixel 2. 2. Infinity-O Display © YouTube The Galaxy S10e has a 5.8-inch AMOLED display on the front with a punch-hole design that houses the front-facing camera. Despite being a small-sized phone, the display looks amazing. Of course, it's a Samsung panel, so it's simply great for content consumption, be it playing games, watching videos, etc. Also, the 5.8-inch feels like the perfect size for a phone. It's neither too small nor annoying big like some other phones that are out there in the market. 3. Dual-Cameras © YouTube Yes, the Galaxy S10e lacks the triple camera setup, which both the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus have, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the S10e cameras are bad. In fact, the 12MP standard lens and the 16MP ultrawide lens are really what you need for any given scenario. These are the same sensors that you'll find on the Galaxy S10 and the S10 Plus, and they work exceptionally well. Here's a sample image which we shot from the phone during our testing - 4. Wireless Charging With Powershare © YouTube Wireless charging isn't exactly a new or exciting feature nowadays, but we're glad that Samsung added that to the Galaxy S10e as well. Heck, the phone even has Samsung's new Reverse Wireless PowerShare feature, with which you can charge another phone or any other Qi-compatible accessory. How cool is that? Well, that wraps up this short and simple list of Galaxy S10e features that we love the most. These are some of the features which, according to us, makes the Galaxy S10e a stellar phone despite being the most affordable of the bunch.
  12. The Lazareth LMV 496, at first, looks essentially like a motorcycle. Okay, maybe an over-the-top 'mean-machine with four wheels' kind of motorcycle. But when it's pulled up on side of the road and starts soaring, that's when you realize that it's an unusual motorised creation. The Lazareth LMV 496, dubbed La Moto Volante, is a brainchild of designer & French custom automotive builder Ludovic Lazareth and his team. Before we dive into the details, let's take a moment to appreciate it - © Lazareth The Moto Volante rides much like a regular motorcycle on the road. However, it can be transformed into a jet-powered quadricopter with just a push of a button. It takes just about a minute for the jet mounts in the wheels to warm up and tilt 90-degrees. The bike will then take off, hovering off the ground. Each wheel of the bike is also mounted with a parachute for emergency purpose. The bike is apparently built around a beastly 470bhp engine, and it uses jet turbines to propel itself into the air. “It's a crazy commitment with the whole team,” said the company in a statement, and we totally get it. This thing is freaking awesome. The Moto Volante is said to appear at Gitex electronics trade show in Dubai later this year, and that's where the interested buyers can pre-order it for an expected price of around £424,000.
  13. Apple Arcade is now official and the gaming service by the Cupertino giant is going to host a range of games that deliver great narratives and casual gaming at the same time. Every game will be playable on a range of Apple devices like the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and macOS. Each game will be playable offline which is quite different from what Google plans to offer with Stadia Each game that is bundled with Apple Arcade will be handpicked by the Cupertino Giant along with games that will be co-funded by the company. Most of these games will take advantage of Apple's A12/A12x Bionic chip to deliver a seamless experience. We decided to detail every game that we know about that will be coming to Apple's gaming service: 1. Team Sonic Racing © Sega 'Team Sonic Racing' is a kart racing game similar to 'Mario Kart' and has been in development for every console out there. Having said that, the game will also be coming to Apple Arcade where it will run with similar performance as its counterparts. Team Sonic Racing is a third-person racing game that will have power-ups, drifting and tricks. It also has co-operative gameplay which will be one of the marquee features of the game. Players will be able to play games offline with their friends in offline mode with local multiplayer support. 2. Fantasian © Apple This game is being developed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the Japanese developer who has also been responsible for many 'Final Fantasy' games in the past. The game is currently under development and has been made using 3D dioramas from real life. These dioramas are imported into the game and are being used as actual playable levels. 3. Oceanhorn 2: Knights Of The Lost Realm © YouTube If you loved the 'Zelda' series, 'Oceanhorn 2: Knights Of The Lost Realm' is probably going to be your go-to RPG adventure game on Apple Arcade. The sequel has better graphics than its predecessor, more exploring, sword fighting and loots to discover. The first title in the series is already a fan favourite and it seems like the second game will be the star attraction of Apple Arcade. 4. The Artful Escape © YouTube The Artful Escape was initially going to be an exclusive for Xbox One and PC, however, it seems like the game will also make its way to Apple Arcade. The game was shown off at the reveal event and is one of the most beautiful platforms anticipated this year. The game is about a musician who is on a path to discover more art and music during his journey. Expect some awesome music and art style as the teasers already look awesome. 5. Yaga © Romanian Game Developers Association 'Yaga' is already available to play on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, however, the game will also be a part of Apple's new gaming service. It's a traditional third-person action RPG that has a unique art style and a compelling narrative. The game also features choice-based narrative which makes 'Yaga' one of the most exciting titles coming to the Apple Arcade. 6. The Bradwell Conspiracy © Steam This game is very reminiscent of 'Firewatch' where your character will interact with the environment to reveal the narrative of the game. It's a first-person adventure game where you need to escape from a facility where you are stuck due to a disastrous explosion. Your only point of contact is a fellow survivor called Amber where you must escape together by interacting with each other. 7. Enter The Construct © Apple This game is probably one of the more serious hardcore shooter games that are based in a sci-fi world. The game is currently under development for the platform. We don't know much about this game, however, the game does look like a promising title for the platform. 8. Hitchhiker © Hitchiker Game Yet another action adventure game that got us excited because of its simplicity and art style. You play the character of a hitchhiker where you will discover more information about yourself as you play through the story. You will interact with random drivers and discover about yourself through conversations and random items you find in the world. Apple Arcade will launch this fall as many of these games are still under development. There are plenty of other games that are coming to the service from developers such as Disney, Konami, Lego, Cartoon Network and Platinum Games, the same developer responsible for the 'Bayonetta' series.
  14. Foldable smartphones are a new thing as Samsung and Huawei have both developed smartphones for the near future. We even got to play with the Huawei Mate X and you can check out our hands-on experience here. Xiaomi, on the other hand, has a unique take on a foldable smartphone which is quite different from the other two companies. © Xiaomi We now get a closer look at the smartphone thanks to a 10-second video posted on Weibo. The video shows off the smartphone folding twice to turn a tablet into a smartphone that fits perfectly in the hand. The device folds both sides of the screen to turn it into a smartphone. We also get to see how navigation gestures work on the device as one can simply swipe-to-left to go back. The video also shows that the device currently does not have portrait mode when in tablet mode. It's probably because the software is still in the testing phase and may be ironed out for the final launch device. © Xiaomi The teaser suggests that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the smartphone sometime in Q2 and is expected to be considerably cheaper than the Galaxy Fold and the Mate X. Reports suggest that the smartphone will cost somewhere around $1,000 which is significantly cheaper than Samsung and Huawei's price tag. If you want to see the smartphone in action for yourself, have a look at the short video below:
  15. The iPhone is the most selling product every year and the small line-up of phones has a huge market share in the developed markets. Hence, it's no surprise that rumours mills are always churning out something new. The 2019 iPhones are expected to launch in September, but we're already hearing a lot about them. Analysts like Ming-Chi Kuo are known to be highly reliable and have a track record of revealing accurate reports over the past few years. Now, Kuo has released an analyst note that contains his predictions about the upcoming iPhones. The predictions have corroborating reports stating that Apple could announce three new iPhones this year. © Apple According to him, the new iPhones shall have the same screen sizes and the notch isn't going anywhere as well. The iPhone XR successor is expected to get an OLED display, instead of the current LCD. The phones shall also have an upgraded Face ID array, bigger batteries, and a frosted glass casing. Another major update will be a triple rear camera setup on one of the phones. Previous Bloomberg reports have also said that Apple is testing the new camera array, and given the current trends of the market, it makes more sense. Huawei's flagships have been a killer in the segment, and even Samsung has been trying to catch-up. © Imgur The upcoming iPhones are also expected to get an ultra-wideband radio for indoor navigation and bilateral wireless charging. The latter lets you charge other smaller devices wirelessly via your iPhone. This shall come in extremely handy to quickly charge AirPods on the go. In fact, even the AirPods are going to get a successor this year and the AirPods 2 are reported to sport better health tracking, finely tuned audio output, as well as better battery life. Even the much-awaited AirPower charging mat shall be finally coming this year. © Apple Lastly, the new iPhones will continue using the Lightning connector, instead of opting for USB-C. This may be good news for many, but those who already use the new MacBook or iPad Pro know how annoying it can get to carry separate charging wires everywhere. What do you think about the new iPhones? Let us know in the comments section below! Source: 9to5Mac
  16. We're all waiting for the release of 'Avengers: Endgame' and are also preparing for probably, permanently, losing a bunch of our favourite characters. But did you know there's another thing we need to prepare for? Our bladder-control, apparently. The runtime of the movie is 3 hours, which is not at all surprising considering that it's a culmination of 22 incredible movies and the final instalment of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So basically, the movie has to tackle a lot of things, take care of a lot of different characters and storylines, especially when we think about how they also have to somehow manage to bring back a lot of people (and then kill a lot of them again). But, don't worry, the movie is going to be so awesome that we will end up fighting a battle with our bladder, at least that's what the people who have already watched the movie experienced. Yes, some lucky bastards have already seen the movie while we have to wait till the end of April, but let's ignore that for now. While speaking to Collider about the test screenings, the Russo Brothers said, “I think the studio is down with what the best story is. Right now, we think the movie is playing well and we've had great responses from our test audiences and we're feeling very good about where it is. We're still doing work to it. We're not done with it. Again, this is a culmination film of 22 movies, it's a lot of storytelling to work into it. Emotion is an intrinsic part of that to us. When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. This one, in particular, feels like three hours worth of real estate.” Well, that sounds exciting, doesn't it? While talking about the audience's reactions and the possibility of an interval, they said, “We have screened the movie four times for audiences now. For the first three screenings, not a single person got up to go to the bathroom.” So, I just have to say one thing - Excitement? Check. Bladder? Double check. Come at me, Marvel!
  17. The AirPods have been one of Apple's most successful and groundbreaking product that is due for an update by the Cupertino giant. The AirPods have been selling like hotcakes ever since its launch and it seems like a brand new version is on its way. It was revealed a few days ago that component suppliers believe that the successor to the wireless buds is on its way. Suppliers believe that it will likely be called AirPods 2 and will be launched in the first half of 2019. We've already reported about new biometric capabilities that may be a feature of AirPods 2. In fact, you can read about previous leaks and speculations here. © 9to5Mac Having said that, there's now a new leak that may point towards a feature we've always wanted on the AirPods. The leak was spotted by 9to5Mac and comes from a very unlikely source — Apple itself. The latest beta version of iOS 12.2 was rolled out to developers and in the setup screen, 9to5Mac discovered the new upcoming feature. In the set-up screen, it clearly says: “Talk to Siri with your AirPods or iPhone by saying 'Hey, Siri'.” © 9to5Mac This tells us that you can now access Siri by simply saying “Hey, Siri” which means the new AirPods will be smart enough to hear the prompt. It will work similar to how it works on the Apple Watch and on iPhones. In fact, just like other Apple products, it may be able to recognise your particular voice. It could be possible that this new feature may also be coming to existing AirPods however we aren't entirely sure if the onboard chip will be able to do so. © Pexels The new AirPods 2 is also expected to come with a new wireless charging case that will work with Apple's wireless charger called 'AirPower'. It is very likely that Apple will launch the new AirPods, the new wireless charger and even new iPads at an event scheduled for March 2019. Source: 9to5Mac
  18. Apple is inviting its users and iPhone photographers alike from around the world, to submit some of their best shots for its next “Shot on iPhone” campaign. Apple first started the “Shot on iPhone: campaign in 2015 when the Cupertino giant launched the iPhone 6. Apple mined Twitter and Instagram for pictures with the hashtag “#ShotOniPhone” that went on banners, billboards and magazine ads. The campaign was extremely successful as iPhone sales shot through the roof. © BCCL In fact, some of the best ads from Apple have come from user-generated content; especially from people who don't consider themselves photographers. Entering the contest is quite simple as you just need to upload your best pictures on Instagram or Twitter with the “ShotOniPhone” hashtag by February 7th. Weibo users can participate as well using #ShotOniPhone#. In the image caption, note which model was used. Alternatively, you can also submit the photo in its highest resolution to shotoniphone@apple.com with the file format 'firstname_lastname_iphonemodel.' © Adweek The pictures will be judged by a panel of judges and will select 10 photos that will be featured on billboards in select cities, retail outlets and an online store. The images will be judged by Pete Souza, the official photographer for President Barack Obama, Luísa Dörr who rose to fame after she photographed TIME's Firsts issue exclusively on iPhone and Austin Mann amongst others. If you are serious about submitting your images, you can find additional information here
  19. It's 2019 and boy, have things started to take interesting turns. An egg broke Kylie Jenner's world record of the most liked picture on Instagram for crying out loud! People are calling Virat Kohli better than Sachin Tendulkar. Friends who never had a girlfriend are getting married before you. 'Game of Thrones' is coming to an end, and some people are counting on Rahul Gandhi to run the country following this year's General Elections. Anything and everything is happening in this world. But one thing which is so far constant in our life is our love for memes. Seems like sharing, tagging, and taking screenshots of memes will never become old school. We all are guilty of spending more than half our time in checking lit AF memes. Thanks to some creative people, we get to have a laugh while we tag our friend in a meme which describes his dumbness. 20. Nvidia just announced the GeForce RTX 2060 at CES and the new GPU offers its brand new ray-tracing tech for a budget. If you are currently looking to build your own PC or upgrade your GPU, the GeForce RTX 2060 will be available in India for RS, 31,000. It's available to pre-order from Nvidia's Indian website and is expected to be available by January 15th. Since this is the price for the founder's edition, you can expect the price to be higher from other OEMs. © NVIDIA According to the company, “the RTX 2060 is 60 per cent faster on current titles than the prior-generation GTX 1060, NVIDIA's most popular GPU, and beats the gameplay of the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. With Turing's RT Cores and Tensor Cores, it can run Battlefield V with ray tracing at 60 frames per second.” © NVIDIA It's clear that Nvidia is positioning the RTX 2060 for gamers who want a cheaper solution to the latest tech on offer. Since the Indian gaming marker is sensitive to aggressive pricing, the RTX 2060 is expected to make PC gaming more accessible than ever before. The fact that RTX 2060 offers real-time ray tracing on a budget, is a sure shot winner amongst the Indian gaming audiences. I personally use the RTX 2080 Ti (Zotac AMP version) and it is capable of offering 60FPS in 4K. Having said that, the RTX 2060 is not that card that will deliver a similar performance, however, it is perfect for gamers who are happy with Full HD (1,440p) gaming. © NVIDIA The RTX 2060 comes equipped with 6GB of GDDR6 memory and 240 Tensor Cores that can deliver 52 teraflops of deep learning. Custom boards, including stock-clocked and factory-overclocked models, will also available starting January 15th, from top add-in card providers, including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac.

  22. 2018 has been a great year for movie buffs. Where on one hand films like 'Avengers: Infinity War', 'Black Panther', 'Venom' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' did an incredible business at the box office, others including 'A Star Is Born', 'Crazy Rich Asians', 'A Quiet Place' and 'Hereditary' gave us some major storytelling goals. Many film-makers have kept the best of their works for the year-end and this winter, some amazing Hollywood films are being released. Below is a list of films you can't afford to miss before the year ends: 1. Aquaman 'Aquaman' is already making waves and has remained a much-awaited film this year. The film stars Jason Momoa, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, and Dolph Lundgren. The superhero movie by DC Comics has just broken the advance ticket sales record of all time leaving behind 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Venom'. The new trailer of the film reveals much about the story of 'Aquaman'. Directed by James Wan, 'Aquaman' will premiere first in the UK on December 14, 2018, and in India on December 21 this year. 2. Creed II Written by Sylvester Stallone, the second part of the 2015 sports drama 'Creed' is around the corner. Starring Sylvester Stallone, Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Florian Munteanu, Dolph Lundgren, Phylicia Rashad, Andre Ward, Wood Harris, Brigitte Nielsen, and Milo Ventimiglia, the film revolves around the life of Adonis Creed who meets his new adversary Viktor Drago (son of Ivan Drogo). The movie has been shot in Philadelphia and is expected to be a more blended version of 'Creed'. 'Creed II' is the eighth instalment in the classic 'Rocky' series and is set to be released on November 30, 2018, in India. 3. The Front Runner What is now being perceived to be Hugh Jackman's Oscar-worthy performance by the critics, 'The Front Runner' is surely a movie that is making much noise. Directed by Jason Reitman, the biographical drama is based on the book 'All the Truth Is Out: The Week Politics Went Tabloid'. Starring Hugh Jackman, Vera Farmiga, J. K. Simmons, Sara Paxton, and Alfred Molina, the film narrates the story of Gary Hart (played by Hugh Jackman) and follows his life during the 1988 presidential campaign, as his downfall began due to media reports about his extramarital affair. The film has been released on November 21, this year. 4. Mary Poppins Returns Looks like the makers of 'Mary Poppins Returns' have tried their best in making this holiday season a sweet treat for us. Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep have teamed up for the third time after working together in highly commercial films like 'Into the Woods' and 'The Devil Wears Prada'. In the film, the mysterious Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) comes back to the Depression-era London. Mary, who is an ageless nanny with magical powers recreates wonder in their lives and makes them see a world beyond imagination. So 'gird your loins' as the perfect ensemble cast with Emily, including Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, and Emily Mortimer is ready to make your winters the sweetest one. The musical fantasy is a late December release 5. Bumblebee Sci-fi flick 'Bumblebee' looks like one film that can't be skipped at all. The film is centered around a 'Transformers'' character of the same name. It is a prequel to the 2007 film 'Transformers'. 'Bumblebee' stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker, and Pamela Adlon. The film is set in 1987 when the transformer hides in a junkyard, only to be discovered by a teenage girl named Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld). As the two become friends, they begin their journey of saving the Earth from the evil transformers. Directed by Travis Knight, the film is set to be released on December 28 this year. 6. Mary Queen of Scots Perceived to be the most feminist film of the year, Josie Rourke's 'Mary Queen of Scots' is making headlines these days. Set in the 16th century England, the historical drama is based on 'Queen of Scots: The True Life of Mary Stuart' (John Guy's biography). Margot Robbie and Saoirse Ronan portray queens Elizabeth I and Mary Stuart, respectively in the film. This a film about how two women fight for the royal throne until one of them loses the battle and is later beheaded. The cast also includes actors Gemma Chan, Guy Pearce, David Tennant, and Jack Lowden. The film is a December 7 release in the US and can be seen on a few streaming platforms in India. 7. Destroyer Nicole Kidman is undeniably one of the best actresses in the world. Years back when she imitated Virginia Woolf and bagged her first academy award for 'The Hours', we knew she is a chameleon in the making! Years later, when Nicole is ruling both cinema and television, she has made sure to keep rediscovering her own self as she effortlessly slips into new characters. Nicole's latest flick 'Destroyer' is being discussed these days, so much so, that it looks like the film is resting upon her shoulders completely. Directed by Karyn Kusama, the film is centred around the life of an LAPD detective Erin Bell (played by Kidman) who suffers a breakdown during her tenure as an undercover agent. She later finds her way by taking down the gang leader, a process that completely redefines what a woman should be like on the silver screen. The film's initial release is scheduled to be on December 25, this year. 8. Robin Hood Leonardo DiCaprio has devoted his time and energy in co-producing the film called 'Robin Hood', which is now running in theatres. Starring Jamie Foxx, Taron Egerton, Jamie Dornan, and Eve Hewson, the action-adventure is majorly based on the epic of 'Robin Hood'. Taron Egerton plays 'Rob' and tries his best to outperform others who have worked in the earlier versions of the film. The makers of the film have tried to keep it new, though this is a story that we have heard of before. The film is directed by Otto Bathurst and has received mixed reviews. 9. Second Act The air in Hollywood was different this year, unlike the previous year when female-oriented films ruled the box office. In December, pop singer Jennifer Lopez is making her comeback to films with her rom-com 'Second Act', directed by Peter Segal. The film's cast also includes actors Vanessa Hudgens, Leah Remini, Annaleigh Ashford, Dan Bucatinsky, Freddie Stroma, Milo Ventimiglia, Treat Williams, and Larry Miller. The film revolves around a 40-year-old woman played by Lopez, who gets a second chance to revive her career. Everything starts with a fake Facebook page! This seems to be an interesting feel-good kinda film. 10. Ben Is Back The trailer of Julia Roberts-starrer 'Ben Is Back' released a month ago and without a doubt, the film looks promising in terms of storyline and performances. Directed by Peter Hedges, the story of the film which is majorly focused on Ben (played by Peter's son Lucas Hedges), takes a different turn when he returns home on a Christmas Eve and creates trouble for his family. His mother Holly Burns (Julia) tries her best to find Ben, as he runs away leaving her in the middle of nowhere. The film is an intense family drama and is set for release on December 7 this year.
  23. Earlier this year, the nation was gripped by a gigantic wave of frenzy courtesy Netflix's ever-entertaining original series 'Sacred Games'. Social media platforms went into a tizzy with critics and the audience lauding the makers for producing an epic, gripping series. But much like all the other things that become popular in today's time and day, 'Sacred Games' too wasn't spared by netizens when it came to getting a kick out of its idiosyncrasies. A gazillion memes followed and well, we sure had a field day with it. Fast forward to November and Amazon Prime Video came out with its own original series that has received great reviews since its release. However, the show's dark humour and stellar dialogues have given meme-makers the perfect reason to go on a meme-spree, and we are personally loving the results! We have loved Bablu and Guddu and their epic deliveries on the show, whereas Munna is in a league of his own. Tripathi and his temper never cease to pull us deeper into the show, but it is really the culmination of all of their acts, that makes this show so LIT! But the memes, those are even better. 24. Google has started to roll out its Night Sight low-light computational photography technology that was the much-awaited feature since its announcement. It basically lets users take awesome pictures at night and is designed to improve the quality of these images. It works great when you are trying to take pictures of objects however it still needs some work to handle moving objects. © MensXP The Pixel 3 is all about computational photography and it was quite prevalent in our official review as well. It has a new feature called Super Res Zoom that takes exceptional pictures of zoomed in subjects without using a telephoto lens. Night Sight also uses takes advantage of Google's computational photography algorithm as it captures multiple temporary images and enhances them by blending. It also applies a special filter that tweaks an image's exposure and resolution. Here is an example to give you a better idea: © Twitter As you can see, the night sight works exceptionally well with objects and landscapes. It basically lit the entire image with great accuracy without the need of using a flash or artificial light. Night Sight is coming to all Pixel devices and is now rolling out via an OTA update. Having said that, ROM hackers have been able to modify other imaging applications to give a similar effect, however, Google's night sight is probably the best way to use this feature at the moment. 25. It seems like history is repeating itself thanks to a leak discovered in an over the air Android Pie update for the Galaxy Note 9. Previously, the Galaxy S7's Nougat update showed the design of the S8 and S9's design was shown in S8's Oreo update. It seems like the leak the design of the Galaxy S10 may have been hinted once again. © Twitter The image shows that Samsung may have removed the iris scanner completely in favour of an in-display fingerprint scanner and may have embedded the selfie camera under the screen. The leak shows that Samsung has also carried forward the same design ethos of having minimal bezels. © Twitter The image was spotted by Twitter user MWeinbackXDA and Ice Universe and it seems like the leak may just be the final calling of the smartphone. There is a good chance that this will be the final design of the Galaxy S10 or the Galaxy S10 Plus. It looks like this particular design will feature a flat display, no notch and a hefty price tag. What makes this leak quite credible is that the artwork used in the Android Pie update does not resemble any smartphone by Samsung right now. The placeholder image looks like Samsung's next-gen smartphones. Of course, this leak should be taken with a grain of salt as Samsung is expected to launch the phone at MWC 2019. There's still quite some time for the official unveil and we will know more about Samsung's next flagship around that time. Source: SlashGear
