  8. A few days ago, noted actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui was summoned by the Thane Police over the Call Detail Record scam and since then a string of similar affairs have sprouted in Bollywood over this illegal acquisition of private information, which is recorded by different telephone exchanges. © Instagram Nawazuddin's lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui is currently in the Thane Crime Branch custody for allegedly sourcing the CDR of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife, Aaliya Siddiqui. Now, former model and actor Ayesha Shroff, who's also Jackie Shroff's wife, is also under the radar of the investigating team. It is being alleged that she had illegally sourced the CDR of actor Sahil Khan, with whom she allegedly had a dispute. © Instagram According to the police, Ayesha Shroff and Sahil Khan had a dispute a few years back, following which Ayesha allegedly sourced his CDR. She claims that he was a business partner who cheated her of Rs 8 crore. On the other hand, Sahil said that he was in a relationship with Ayesha and had spent the money only on her. Later, both of them withdrew their cases against each other in 2015, mutually agreed to shut down their company and not harm each other's reputation thereafter. This is what Nitin Thakare, Senior Police Inspector, Thane Crime Branch has to say on the subject, “The two were involved in a dispute and she allegedly sourced the CDR of the actor and handed it to her counsel Rizwan Siddiqui.” What Is Call Detail Record And Why Every Other Celebrity Is So Interested In It? CDR is basically a data record produced by a telephone exchange or other telecommunications equipment, that documents the details of a telephone call or other telecommunications transaction that passes through that facility or device. These records are critical to the production of revenue and for law enforcement as well. Such information helps to identify suspects, in that they can reveal details as to an individual's relationships with associates, communication and behavior patterns, and even location data that can establish the whereabouts of an individual during the entirety of the call. These are some of the basic data points that are recorded but it does not include the content of that transaction. It could be the phone number of the subscriber originating the call, the phone number receiving the call, the starting time of the call (date and time) the call duration etc. Well, for keeping the privacy of the user, the telephone exchange companies are made to comply by certain rules and regulations where they cannot share anyone's personal data(that could lead to the abuse of information) with anyone and everyone, except for investigation purpose for police or any such authority. © Instagram We all are also aware of Kangana Ranaut having a public spat with Hrithik Roshan over an alleged affair for some time now, and now her name has also come to the light as well. Nitin Thakare said, “We are investigating it, the mobile number was of Hrithik Roshan and the message was sent by actress Kangana to lawyer Rizwan who represented her. We are not sure if Hrithik's CDR was procured illegally. The matter is under investigation.” The complete retention of metadata is already a subject of debate in many countries including the United States and Germany and in many other European countries as well, and the recent case of Facebook privacy scandal is acting just like pouring oil on the flame.

Gulalai, who had announced to quit the party in early August last year after levelling allegations of harassment and corruption against PTI Chairperson Imran Khan, was invited to Bahawalpur by Suba Bahawalpur Bahali Tehreek (SBBT) activists. In response to the ?go Gulalai go? chants by PTI members, activists of the SBBT shouted ?go Imran go? and ?ro (cry) Imran ro (cry)?. Members of PTI's women wing threw eggs and tomatoes to express their anger at MNA Ayesha Gulalai outside a hotel in Bahawalpur Friday evening. Photo: Geo News Talking to the media after the incident, the MNA said she did not want to comment on the people chanting 'go Gulalai go.' "They are not at fault; they are my brothers and sisters," she said. Incidents of attacking political leaders have increased in the present month. A former seminary student hurled a shoe at former prime minister Nawaz Sharif during his visit to Jamia Naeemia seminary in Garhi Shahu on March 11 ? a day after a person threw ink at Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif while he was addressing a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz PML-N convention. Last month, a man hurled a shoe at Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal while he was addressing a workers' convention in Narowal.
  10. LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Spokesman Fawad Chaudhry said on Friday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz took advantage of former party member and MNA Ayesha Gulalai after the Panama case verdict on July 28, disqualifying former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. The PTI spokesman said that it seems that the PML-N did not fulfill its promises made to Ayesha Gulalai. Chaudhry further claimed that running a defamation campaign against political opponents is PML-N's patent move. The ruling party also ran a campaign maligning Imran Khan back in 1996, he added. Defamation campaigns were also run against Benazir Bhutto and Nusrat Bhutto, said the PTI spokesman. Earlier today, disgruntled PTI MNA Ayesha Gulalai claimed that she received an offer of a Senate ticket from the PML-N. Talking to the media outside Parliament, Gulalai said the only condition in return for the ticket was to attack state institutions, adding that she will disclose the name of the PML-N member who made the offer at a later date. PML-N offered Senate ticket to malign institutions: Gulalai Disgruntled PTI MNA says Nawaz Sharif more dangerous than Imran Khan Gulalai, who hails from South Waziristan, said it is unfair to talk against the judiciary and army, saying it amounts to treason. "Nawaz is more dangerous than Imran," she added. Talking about south Punjab, the PTI MNA said there has been no development in the region as all the funds are being spent in Lahore. She added that she supports the region's demands for a separate province after looking at the conditions there.
  11. ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has claimed that former party member and lawmaker Ayesha Gulalai "was paid" to accuse him of harassment and sending her "inappropriate messages". Imran made the statement in response to a question regarding Gulalai, a Member of the National Assembly who quit the PTI in early August after levelling allegations of harassment and corruption against the party chief. "She has been paid for that," Imran told the Sunday Times Magazine's Ben Judah in an interview published on Sunday. "You see what I have to put up with?" he said, accusing his enemies of smearing him with 'Fake News'?one of a handful of similarities the British journalist used in the interview to compare the former-cricketer-turned-politician to US President Donald Trump. Imran loathes Donald Trump but it is "hard not to compare the two", the journalist wrote, adding: "Khan, like Trump, emerged from the moneyed elite, riding high on a personality cult, purporting to be the voice of every forgotten man, railing against effete liberals and the corruption and nepotism of the political class. And just like Trump, this ageing, hair-obsessed star is accused of sexual harassment." Imran not to respond to Reham?s malicious statements: Awn Chaudhry Awn Chaudhry while turning down the allegations by Reham Khan, said that the PTI chief respects women However, despite similarities with the US president, during the interview Imran raised questions over Pakistan's support in the US-led 'war on terror' and criticised drone strikes on Pakistani soil that Trump has continued after taking over the US presidency. "American drone strikes in Pakistan must stop. It's butchery, and the true horror of it is hidden from the West," he said. The article also described Imran as a politician the Taliban "would like to see installed as the country's next leader". 'Not a strategy guy' In the article, Judah said he questioned Imran about his promises to "bring the China model to Pakistan? to fight poverty, but was unable to get a reasonable explanation from him. "We have a lot to learn from what they did with industry," Imran said in reply to the question. He said the three main points of his overall plan for Pakistan were "a sovereign foreign policy", "an Islamic welfare state" and "the China model". Wonder how SC declared Imran Sadiq and Ameen: Reham Khan Reham said her sources had confirmed that Imran had remarried When asked if he could give any details, Judah wrote that Imran's eyes "just glazed over". As part of the profile interview, Judah said he also met with Asad Umar, PTI vice-president and Imran's close aide, who admitted to the journalist that the party chairperson was "not great in this department". "He's not a strategy guy, let's put it that way," Asad Umar told the reporter. "He has never been in an institution, and doesn't know how to work in an institutional setting."

Ayesha Gulalai will remain an MNA after ECP dismissed Imran Khan's reference KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday criticized the decision of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) of dismissing the disqualification reference against Ayesha Gulalai. Khan who had filed the reference said: "If reserved seat MNAs behave like this then it is an outright violation of the law," he said, adding that the Election Commission of Pakistan's decision not to disqualify her despite violating PTI's directions "will promote horse-trading". The PTI chairman who was speaking to reporters here stressed that if a party member resigns, he or she is no longer a member of the party. Imran Khan had earlier said Gulalai had announced her decision to resign and the decision of the ECP was unconstitutional. Gulalai spoke to reporters following the ECP?s decision and criticized the PTI chairman, saying he wants to forcefully impose his decisions on state institutions. "If Niazi Sb brings people out on the streets then I will come out on Parade Ground too to protect those state institutions," she asserted. However, the school administration and government officials petitioned the Sindh High Court, which ordered its reopening after suspending the lower court?s order. Despite the SHC order, the college was not opened on September 18 and resulted in a protest by students outside the institution's premises and the staff of the education department and trustees. Following this, the matter was referred to the Supreme Court.

The MNA launched into a tirade against Imran and other PTI leaders while speaking in the National Assembly hall on Monday. She said Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Jahangir Tareen call women their sisters and daughters but take them to Imran?s public gatherings. She also raised objections over her case being compared to Monica Lewinsky?s scandal, saying it was a shameful act to draw an analogy between Lewinsky?s and case of the daughters of Pakistan. The name of Lewinsky, a former intern at the White House, came to the fore after a scandal surfaced of her alleged relationship with Former president of United States Bill Clinton. Ayesha Gulalai enters NA wearing tribal turban, says fighting ?mafia? alone ?For fighting men, a woman has to impersonate Razia Sultana,? Gulalai says Gulalai, who has been wearing a turban to the assembly session, has accused Imran and PTI?s Naeem-ul-Haq of sending her inappropriate text messages. The issue was raised at a time when Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister, was disqualified by the Supreme Court over the Panama case filed by Imran, among others. Subsequently, Gulalai came under attack by some quarters who claimed she was backed by PML-N leaders.
