  1. MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina have spent majority of their time playing alongside each other -- be it the Indian team or the Indian Premier League. The bond that they share is hard to find in any other pair in world cricket because it's not often that you see a player following in the footsteps of his mentor and announcing his retirement on the very same day. Having spent so much time together, it was only normal that both of them had plenty to share about their on-field experiences. Dhoni played the majority of his cricket as the skipper of the Indian team, hence was in the habit of getting things done as per his liking. © Reuters Back in 2018, the Indian team had travelled to Ireland and Dhoni was on the bench and had to perform the duties of the 12th man and carry drinks to the ground. Raina knew he wouldn’t get the same opportunity ever again and he made full use of that, so much so that Dhoni was left annoyed. "We had gone to Ireland in 2018, and enjoyed ourselves there after the matches. Dhoni bhai carried drinks for me there," Raina said on ‘22 Yarns Podcast’. Recalling the incident, Raina said he was batting with KL Rahul and both of them had scored fifties. The best thing about being good mates is that you know each other really well and the same was the case with Dhoni, who knew Raina would ask for gloves and bats and that’s why he carried the whole kit bag so that he wouldn't have to run around again. © Reuters Handing Raina his kit bag, Dhoni told the southpaw to take whatever he had to as he wouldn’t come out in the cold again. "I remember one moment. Dhoni bhai thought that I often ask a lot for gloves and bats while batting, so he brought the whole kit bag to the ground and said: 'Take whatever you want, don't call me again'. I think I was batting alongside Rahul and we both had hit fifties. He (Dhoni) said 'I won't come again, it's very cold out here'. (chuckles)," he added. © Reuters But Raina was in no mood to let the opportunity go this easily and asked Dhoni to bring his grip as well which annoyed the Ranchi-born cricketer to the core. And we can’t blame Raina for that, after all, who doesn’t like pulling his best friend's legs. "I still said, 'Do one thing, bring a grip as well'. And he replied: 'Bohot bade waala hai tu, tu rukja, paani pi, mai leke aata hu.' So it was that kind of fun. I thought to myself that I'll take full revenge that day," said Raina, who is the third-highest scorer in IPL history. © Twitter/Chennai Super Kings Having retired from international cricket, both players are still active in the IPL and will be back in action when the IPL 2021 resumes in the United Arab Emirates in September. 2. It was Bollywood's King Khan, that is Shah Rukh Khan's 54th birthday yesterday. People, not just across the country, but the whole world, were celebrating his birthday and there's no exaggeration here. But, amongst all the wishes and messages pouring in, there was one that touched millions of hearts, including SRK's. No, we're not talking about Salman Khan singing a birthday song for him. It's Dubai's Burj Khalifa that paid the perfect tribute to Shah Rukh Khan by lighting up with his name and an amazing fountain show. View this post on Instagram On the way to @latrobeuni University..
