  1. Whether for summer vacations or weekend getaways, it's easy to pack your whole world and then ultimately unpack because your bag was overstuffed. In the midst of all this hassle, chances are you will miss out on packing your grooming essentials. Following a daily regimen can be hard and hence, to keep it simple and time-saving for you, here are all the basic things to add to your travel bag when you are on to go: 1. Face Wipes © Getty Images While on a vacay, chances are your skin could start looking dull, dry and dehydrated. Carrying a pack of face wipes can cleanse your face in seconds, without making you feel the need to rush to the washroom. These are quite useful and can steer clear of the grime accumulated on your face. 2. Mouthwash © Getty Images A mouthwash comes handy during long journeys. No, we are not saying you don't add a toothbrush but carrying a mouthwash helps when you are short on time. All you need to do is swish it in your mouth and feel fresh instantly. 3. Lip Balm © Getty Images Chugging water can fight dehydration but keeping a lip balm will help your lips revive if they are chapped during the journey. Most lip balms come in small packaging and hence it's important to stow it in your kit. 4. Moisturiser © Getty Images A small and sturdy bottle of moisturiser for your face is a travel must-have. It reduces the glaring signs of fatigue and the lightweight formula will instantly energise your face. It's a great deal to bank on! 5. Battery Operated Razor © Getty Images An electric, battery-operated razor will prove beneficial, not just in your travel kit, but also in your grooming arsenal. It's definitely a hassle-free choice and an ideal swap for shaving creams that you can rely on while travelling. 6. Face Wash And Scrub © Getty Images We don't want you to follow a long regime while you wish to enjoy the trip. So, get your hands on a two in one product that helps fight dead skin cells and keeps your skin smooth and clean with its goodness. Thank us later! 7. Carry An Antiperspirant Deodorant © Getty Images Adding a deodorant to your travel kit is obvious but instead of carrying a gigantic bottle, opt for a mini size, anti-perspirant deodorant that fits in your small travel bag. There are a plethora of pocket deodorants available and trust us, they are the best suitable alternative to own!
  2. Luxury brands should stick to what they do best: make luxurious products that are often well designed and are (mostly) overpriced. Some luxury companies have tried to get on the wearable bandwagon by launching their own smartwatches and even bracelets. While they may look awesome, they don't work as well as something that costs Rs 1,500 maybe. © Twitter Luxury brand Louis Vuitton has now made a handbag that is an odd fusion between technology and fashion. It was presented as a part of its 2020 cruise collection and has OLED screens on a duffle bag. The company also presented a bucket bag that also has OLED screens on each side. © Twitter The company describes it as a fusion of “cutting-edge technology with the Maison's signature savoir-faire, the new canvas displays moving images while taking the form of some of Louis Vuitton's most iconic bags". We would like to give LV full marks for the effort but the design of the bag simply looks ghastly. Why would anyone stitch OLED screen on the side of the bag? The OLED screen on the duffle bag shows video clips of different cities. The bucket bag comes with screens on each side and the OLED panel on this bag can also be used as a touchscreen. Both bags from LV simply do not exude luxury but simply looks like something a knock-off store would make in the fake goods markets in South Asia. © Louis Vuitton The OLED panels on the bags are said to be flexible but I guess the people at LV didn't hear about Samsung's fiasco with foldable smartphones. These bags are going to experience the same problems as the foldable phone and look ugly at the same time.
  3. For a team that made a sensational comeback last season, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) appear to be on-track for glory as they continue to go past one opponent after another in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 'Yellow Brigade' had already recorded four wins out of their five games this season when a big test awaited them at the MA Chidambaram stadium against table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 9th April. Many had doubts over Chennai's ability to overcome KKR and, more importantly, halt the menacing Andre Russell who seems to be in a class of his own this season. But, in front of the home crowd, Chennai once again proved why they are three-time IPL champions. Handing the visitors only their second loss this season, Chennai didn't just managed to contain Russell (in their own capacity), but eventually pulled off an emphatic seven-wicket triumph to bolster their title defence. © Twitter/@IPL The victory, derived under the leadership of pragmatic skipper MS Dhoni and on the back of a collective team effort, propelled CSK to the top spot with 10 points in their kitty. For the way it panned out, Chennai's win wasn't really hard-fought but such is the IPL schedule that it barely allows the cricketers to rest. Following his team's triumph, MS Dhoni's social media post, the very next morning, showed how difficult it is for these cricketers to keep up with the pace of the tournament. With their next clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) scheduled to be played on 11th April, Dhoni and his teammates barely had any time for a breather as they boarded a morning flight to Jaipur from Chennai. View this post on Instagram After getting used to IPL timing this is what happens if u have a morning flight A post shared by M S Dhoni (@mahi7781) on Apr 9, 2019 at 9:36pm PDT With the game against KKR finishing off in the wee hours, Dhoni was visibly short on sleep which probably explains why he was seen sleeping on the airport floor alongside his wife Sakshi. In a post that he shared on Instagram, Dhoni and his wife were seen catching some sleep on the airport floor with their kit bag playing the role of a pillow. "After getting used to IPL timing this is what happens if u have a morning flight," the CSK skipper captioned the photo. The same picture was also shared on the official Twitter handle of CSK and the cricket fans couldn't stop themselves from praising MSD and Sakshi for their humility. pic.twitter.com/rvBxtSL3h9 — YuvaraJ (@yuvaraj_kathir) April 10, 2019 He is the right person for the quote " Be Simple Be Sample " pic.twitter.com/sAGak2RE83 — Suresh Kumar J (@sureshkumaar77) April 10, 2019 Bhaiya and Bhabhi so cute jodi.. 4. Karan Johar is as larger than life in terms of his outfits IRL as his movies, and that honestly is amazing. Everything he wears, right from his footwear to his accessories, are camera-worthy, and the fashion police thrives on them. He said it out loud that he legit prepares for his 'airport looks', and that shows. The latest thing he stepped out with that we're interested in? A transparent Louis Vuitton bag that has a prism aesthetic, and seems to be changing colour based on the angle it's viewed from. Take a look. © Viral Bhayani KJo is carrying the Keepall Ss19 Virgil Abloh Hologram Prism 50 Bandouliere 870230 Clear Canvas Travel Bag fom Louis Vuitton, and it honestly is one of the most unique travel bags you'll ever see. Coated with a holographic finish, the otherwise transparent bag has a unique rainbow coloured iridescence that makes it one of the most sought after pieces from Abloh's SS'19 collection. © Tradesy © Tradesy © Tradesy When it comes to the price, it costs a bomb, of course. The bag is worth 10,495 Dollars, which when converted to INR comes to around Rs 7,28,695. What we are more interested tbh, is the giant dark chocolate bar from Lindt he's carrying inside the bag. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani If this isn't 'packing goals', we don't know what is. Damn, KJo!
  5. If you believe in taking care of yourself but don't know how, now is the time to start. You need to have a proper skincare routine in place if you've realized how important male beauty is. You also need products that'll help you look presentable for your dates after a long working day. Here are some products that every man should have in their stash. They make a huge difference in the way you look, trust us. 1. BB Cream © Nykaa We all know how important sunscreen is in saving our faces from the harmful rays of the sun. A BB cream has a good SPF along with a pigmented cream that covers uneven skin tone and scars. You get the benefits of two products in one. 2. Lip Balm © Nykaa The lip balm has no gender. Also, it is a universally acknowledged fact that no one wants to kiss a pair of chapped lips. I'm sure you secretly agree with this too. Which leaves us to this conclusion: your lips need a balm to moisturize. 3. Dry Shampoo © Nykaa A dry shampoo, contrary to a leave-in conditioner, is for those days when your hair is too oily to style. Dry shampoo absorbs the excess oil and leaves hair with much-needed volume. 4. Concealer © Nykaa A concealer is instrumental in saving you in times of crises. Whether it's a hickey on your neck that needs to hide before an official meeting or a pimple on the face right before date night or even dark circles for that matter! This product upon generous use, conceals it all. 5. Hand Cream © Nykaa No-one wants to hold hands that are scaly and unpleasant to touch. Have you wondered, why your girl's hands are so soft to touch? Hand lotion is crucial in keeping the softness intact since the skin on your hands is devoid from the production of sebum oil (a natural skin moisturizer). This is where a hand lotion comes into the picture.
  6. On 14th February, when the world was busy celebrating love, India and its citizens were pushed into a state of mourning. A sinister plan by Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) saw a 20-year-old suicide bomber ramming his explosive-laden SUV into a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy that robbed India of more than 40 brave soldiers and injured others. Since then, the ghastly terror strike has become the topic of great discussion in the country that recently witnessed the tearful last rites of the Pulwama attack martyrs. While many have suggested adequate action and revenge from the Indian government, others have joined hands to aid the grieving families of the slained soldiers. © AP There is anger and a lot of frustration amongst the Indian citizens. And, the mindset of Indian boxers was no different when they travelled to Sofia in Bulgaria for the Strandja Memorial Boxing Tournament. Their nation was grieving and the boxers didn't know any other way to cheer the citizens, but make India proud through medal-winning performances. India finished the tournament with seven medals - three gold, a silver and three bronze medals - in Sofia. Amongst the medal winners, Nikhat Zareen, Meena Kumari Devi and Amit Pangal bagged top honours at one of Europe's oldest boxing tournaments. While Nikhat dedicated her gold medal (in women's 51kg category) to the CRPF martyrs, Amit got emotional as he honoured the Indian bravehearts with a spectacular performance. © Twitter Amit, a Naib Subedar in the Indian Army, said that the Pulwama attack was on his mind through the tournament. "It hurt a little bit more because I belong to the armed forces. I was desperate for a medal because I wanted to dedicate it to the heroes who lost their lives in Pulwama," Amit was quoted as saying by TOI. "This was my mindset the moment I got to know of the attack after landing here. I was in touch with my family members during the tournament and they also told me that I had to win a medal in honour of the Pulwama martyrs. I was doubly motivated by this thought," the Rohtak-born boxer added. I am very happy to win Goldð¥for India at the Strandja Cup. "I am very happy to win Gold for India at the Strandja Cup. I dedicate this medal to the families of the CRPF jawans who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack," the former junior world champion tweeted.
  7. Want to know what's worse than an already weird pair of crocs? Turning a croc shoe into a bag! Nope, we're not even kidding. This is not a good start to 2019, fashion-wise. Already a much frowned upon sandal label and a big no-no when it comes to style, crocs have taken their shoe game to a whole other level of just plain weird. Croc's new collaboration with a streetwear label Pizzaslice has resulted in the birth of satan's prodigy itself, the crocs cross-body bag. Have a look without making a what-the-hell-is-that-thing face. © instagram/@pizzaslime © instagram/@pizzaslime The bag itself is a literal croc (one shoe, not a pair) of the label's infamous design with a polyester zipper pouch for storage where the sole usually is. There's also a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap attached to each end of the shoe which makes it a cross between a fanny pack and a cross-body sling. Either way, its absurd. © store.pizzaslime.com Apparently fashion loves the croc shoe. We don't , but that's a whole other story. First there were the Christopher Kane stone embellished crocs, then the Balenciaga platform crocs and now this. © store.pizzaslime.com © store.pizzaslime.com The bag (or shoe? we're still confused) is handmade in Los Angeles and comes with 7 detachable and customizable charms. It is available in two colours, black and yellow. © store.pizzaslime.com If anyone wants one of these, as a collectible or as an accessory, they would have to fight hard for it. It's a unisex accessory and the brand is just making 25 units of these (talk about a limited edition accessory) with each one being retailed at 300$ which is around Rs. 21350 only. © instagram/@pizzaslime Here goes another attempt by Crocs to make this infamous rubber shoe cool again, if it was ever one to begin with. You're still fashion's evil foe, Croc. Maybe 2019 is finally your year.
  8. If you are regular to the gym, you already know how essential a gym bag is. I mean, I can't really do without one. Right from wrist straps to deodorants and the protein shaker, 'everything gym' finds its way into the bag. But have you ever wondered what all you really need to have in your gym bag? Well, here are 5 gym bag essentials that every dude must carry in his gym bag all the time. 1) Deodorants © YouTube Well, your fellow gym members are surely going to thank you for this. Carrying a deodorant in your gym bag is always a smart move especially if its summers. However, I would recommend to keep it handy in all seasons. Sweating inside the gym is inevitable but poor hygiene is not. Some people smell really bad when they sweat and make others feel uncomfortable around them. I am sure that you must also have experienced something similar around you in your gym. The worst part of it is that you can't even ask people to use a deodorant on themselves so that you don't sound rude to them. By taking care of your hygiene you will at least be encouraging people around you to do the same. 2) Non-Leaky Water Bottle © YouTube The chances of you being properly hydrated during your workout are more if you are carrying a water bottle with you. You will not make a deliberate effort to hydrate yourself if there's only one water cooler in the gym and it's always surrounded with people. You would rather concentrate on finishing your set than to walk over again and again and stand in the queue to sip in water. Thus it is always smart to carry a water bottle along with you. It is also better for you own hygiene as majority of the gyms don't even offer disposable glasses and use the same steel glasses again and again. 3) Hand Towels That Don't Stink © YouTube You would consider yourself lucky if your gym offers you a facility of availing a hand towel everyday as majority of the gyms in India don't do that. Even if they did offer you a hand towel, it isn't a smart thing to use it as these hand towels are used by so many people throughout the day and who knows how properly they are washed. I've seen people even using their t-shirt to wipe off sweat off their face. That's really a poor hygiene for your skin health. That could also be one of the reasons for your face acne. Thus, make sure to carry a neat towel in your gym bag every day. 4) Pain Relief Sprain Ointment Or Spray © Tiger Balm, Facebook Injuries often take place during working out in the gym. It could be a mild bruise due to a fall or it could be a sprain due to incorrect lifting while performing a heavy lift. Sometimes these sprains can be so painful that you will even face difficulty to grab your stuff and leave for home. Now if your gym has some form of basic medicine box that has quick relief spray, its good, if not then you are up for a painful ride to your home. A quick spray for sprains isn't too much costly and barely takes up any space in your gym bag thus it is smart to carry one. The day you get injured, you will thank yourself for keeping one handy. 5) Lifting Straps And Belt © Amazon If you're a serious lifter, you should always carry your own lifting straps and belts. There isn't much of an option with lifting straps as gyms generally don't offer any from their end. Lifting straps come in handy while performing some heavy compound lifting or even with isolation movements sometimes. They can prevent injuries when you really push yourself to limits. In the similar way, though the gyms do offer lifting belts, but it isn't necessary that it will fit you precisely. The best way is to go to market and buy one as per your own size and shape so that you don't have to compromise with the fit. If the lifting belt doesn't fit you precisely, it won't be of much use to you. 9. The last thing most of us do before stepping out of the house is to perform those last-minute checks in the bathroom mirror. Not only does doing that help us avoid making any embarrassing fashion faux pas, but the knowledge that we're leaving the house looking our best serves as a much-needed confidence booster as well! At the same time, it's also important to have a checklist for things you need to take with you to the gym. Does the idea of creating a checklist for your gym bag essentials seem like overkill? You might rethink that when you're dripping with sweat but have nothing to wipe it off with, or when you have to rush to a family gathering straight from the gym with nothing but your sweat-soaked workout gear as a clothing option. So to help you avoid those embarrassing situations, here's a list of essential items that should be taking pride of place in your gym bag every time you hit the gym. 1. Extra Towels © Amazon Towels have to be the most frequently used piece of equipment at the gym (and if that's not the case with you, you're probably doing something wrong!). In fact, a responsible gym-goer should have multiple towels handy—one to wipe the sweat off themselves, one to wipe any gym equipment before AND after using it (make sure you don't get the two towels mixed up) and a couple extra ones just in case. Most gyms do offer complimentary towels, but do you really want to use them not knowing who was using them before you? You can get your own gym towel, one that will quickly absorb sweat and cool you down, by clicking here MRP: Rs 299 2. Spare Clothes © Instagram/magic_fox In an ideal world, we'd all like to spend a couple of uninterrupted hours at the gym and then enjoy a well-deserved rest at home. Unfortunately, what we actually manage in the real world is a hurried hour or so of working out, usually before or after work or social gatherings. While you might not have a problem showing up for these plans in sweat-soaked clothes, we can assure you that the people around you definitely will! Pro tip: So if you're planning on going somewhere right after your gym session, check out this comfortable yet stylish t-shirt that comes equipped with Dri-FIT fabric to keep sweat stains away. MRP: Rs 1,695 3. Deodorant © Pixabay The first thing on your post-workout to-do list should be taking a shower, but that's easier said than done. Unfortunately, body odour doesn't care for your busy work and social calendar. So, if you don't have the time to hit the shower after the gym but don't want your overwhelming body odour to drive people away, your gym bag should always have a good deodorant. 4. Face Wash © Instagram/Tiger Shroff Are you so busy sculpting your dream physique that you're neglecting your skin? Investing in the best face wash based on your skin type will help keep your face acne free by unclogging your pores and clearing away dirt and grime, especially after those strenuous workouts. 5. Water Bottle © Pixabay Staying hydrated is just as important during a workout as maintaining proper form and using the right equipment. However, there always seems to be a long queue at the water cooler just when you need to hydrate. Why not avoid such a predicament by carrying your own water bottle to the gym? Pro tip: If you were planning on purchasing a water bottle to carry to your gym, check out this slim, spill-proof, leak-free, lightweight and sturdy option by clicking here. 6. Wireless Headphones © Instagram/Virat Kohli Nothing ruins a workout quicker than a pair of low quality headphones. Actually, a pair that keeps slipping off your head is just as bad. Worse still is forgetting your headphones entirely and having to work out to your fellow gym-goers' grunts instead of your favourite workout tunes. Wireless headphones have the answer to all those problems—they're easy to pack, look super stylish and allow you to enjoy your workout without getting tangled up in wires.
  10. Maniesh Paul is one of the most famous hosts of the general entertainment category in the country right now, and he obviously does an amazing job at showcasing eclectic talents. Little did we know that he will do an equally brilliant job at showcasing to us our own financial insecurities, just by wearing a pair of shoes and carrying a fanny pack (that costs Rs 90,000). © Viral Bhayani Maniesh was carrying a red fanny pack by Gucci - the 'Gucci Print leather belt bag', which has the logo of Gucci printed on hibiscus red leather, inspired by colourful retro prints from the '80s. He clearly loves it, as he is pairing it with multiple outfits. © Viral Bhayani Before we were done marvelling at the fanny pack, we saw his shoes - and let's just say now all we can think of is, we want them bad. Take a look. © Viral Bhayani Maniesh is wearing the Supreme x Nike Air More Uptempo “Suptempo” basketball sneakers in Varsity red and white. Designed by Wilson Smith, the Nike Air More Uptempo – known for boasting large “AIR” branding on the lateral and medial sides – is one of the boldest basketball sneakers ever. © Viral Bhayani © Fight Club Now, coming to how much they cost, they might not be as expensive as his Gucci fanny pack, but they sure don't come cheap. They cost around $750, which when converted to INR comes around Rs 55K. © Viral Bhayani Maniesh clearly is making the most out of them, and rightfully so. We would, too!
  11. Salman Khan doesn't experiment when it comes to fashion. In fact, he's so sure of his style game, that he hasn't tried anything new for the longest time. But he doesn't need to, either. What he wears perfectly compliments his form, and his signature bootcuts still survive in a world dominated by tapered, cropped trousers. Naturally, the moment he sported a new beard style, we couldn't help but take notice. He was just spotted at the airport in a brand new, salt-n-pepper bearded avatar that we have never seen him sport before. Is the beard going to be his latest accessory when he hosts the next season of Bigg Boss? We sure will find out soon! Take a look at his beard. © Viral Bhayani Talking about accessories, however, we couldn't help but notice the bag Bhai is carrying. The Louis Vuitton Roadster duffle bag is a classic, and it costs a whopping Rs 1.28 Lakhs, approximately. However, does it manage to steal the thunder of his brand new beard? Hell no. Try harder, bag. © Viral Bhayani Even though Salman is maintaining his signature jeans and T-shirt aesthetic, the grey fitted T-shirt is a welcome deviation from the usual black he swears by. We love the nonchalance that the outfit exudes. © Viral Bhayani Coming to accessories, Salman of course has his favourite bracelet on. Other than that, he decided to keep it minimal with statement sunnies, and a belt that goes perfectly with his boots. © Viral Bhayani Everything said and done, however, we just can't get over that brand new, badass salt-n-pepper beard!
  12. Anand Ahuja is Bollywood's favourite son-in-law, and not only because he's Sonam Kapoor's better half. One would of course expect Sonam Kapoor's partner to be fashionable, yes, and he fills those shoes perfectly, but he's so much more. A seasoned sneakerhead and owner of 'Bhane' - a brand that's all about 'new age fashion', this man is so strong with his style statement, that he definitely can give all the Bollywood stars a run for their money. His latest appearance at the airport is proof. Take a look. © Viral Bhayani Anand has kept it extremely simple in terms of his outfit, which is his signature style anyway. However, he played the style card with his luggage. The blue duffle bag he's carrying is legit goals for anyone with an accessory fixation. © Twitter He's carrying the Louis Vuitton Duffle Keepall Bandouliere Savane Monogram Lion Motif 55 Midnight bag. A statement piece in its own right, this bag in midnight blue is a vision. The quirky lion overlay on top of Louis Vuitton's signature logo background makes for a piece which is only fit for ramps. © Viral Bhayani The aesthetic bit isn't the only thing which sets the bag apart. Its price does that too. It costs a whopping $1,900, which when converted to Indian currency amounts to more than INR 1.3 lakhs. © Viral Bhayani Coming to the rest of his luggage, we are in love with the sharp silver boxes. The fact that he has chosen to go for a pair of black and white shoes with that outfit proves that he's nonchalant, but attentive nonetheless. Sonam would be proud!
