England’s horror tour of India can’t end any sooner. In one of the most devastating bowling performances in recent times, the English bowlers were hit all over the park in Cuttack and conceded 381 runs to a supreme batting lineup. While it was a bad day in office for all the bowlers, it was particularly bad for Ben Stokes who was hit on the face, with the ball, in a bizarre turn of events. This is what happened when he fetched one of the 49 boundaries India hit in the innings. OUCH! That would have hurt. Stokes, although, understood that it was not the intent of the ball boy to hit him and it just so turned out that the ball landed on his face when he was looking in the other direction. Whatever the case may be, one thing that all cricket fans will realize is that the sport can be brutal in ways no one can foresee and it was just one of those occasions on Thursday for England and Stokes, in particular.
