  1. Battle Royale games like PUBG Mobile and Fortnite, as we all know, hit mobile gamers hard. With over millions of active players, these titles are still going strong even after all these years. Well, if you're tired of playing the same old battle royale titles, or if you're planning to get aboard the battle royale hype train, then we've got some amazing options. Let's check them out - 1) Crossfire Legends If you like PUBG Mobile, then you'll most likely enjoy Crossfire Legends too. It's a fantastic game and it's developed by Tencent, the guys who made PUBG Mobile. Just like PUBG Mobile, Crossfire Legends' BR mode also lets you dive into a solo, duo or a squad game. Crossfire Legends got great weapons and amazing visuals, so it's definitely worth checking out. In addition to the BR mode, this particular game also offers a few different modes such as Team Deathmatch, Mutant mode, and more. Availability: Android & iOS 2) Call Of Duty: Mobile This one's a fairly new game. Heck, it's not even available for all users, but it's still worth adding to the list. Call of Duty: Mobile, though it's only available for select registered users, has gained a lot of traction. It's got a Battle Royale mode, Team Deathmatch, etc. Call of Duty: Mobile differentiates itself as a tactical shooter, making it one of the very titles out there offering a tactical shooting experience. We've already put up a detailed write up explaining about the key differences from PUBG Mobile and you can check it out right here. In case you haven't tried the game yet, here's how you sideload the game and play it right now. Availability: Android & iOS 3) Fortnite Fortnite is in-part responsible for creating the battle royale hype, so we had to add this to the mix. Unlike PUBG Mobile, this one's a super stable game and a lot of fun to play. Although Fortnite is a battle royale title, the gameplay is slightly different. The only downside to the game is that it's not available on the Google Play Store, so you'll have to get it from the Epic Launcher. It's available directly from the App Store though. Availability: Android & iOS 4) PUBG Mobile Well, lastly we have PUBG Mobile. Yes, the game that popularised the Battle Royale genre. The game lets you jump off to an island with 99 other players and get into an epic battle to get the 'Chicken Dinner'. The game has a bunch of different weapons, looks great, and even works on phones with not-so-powerful specs. One of the best things about this game is that it's constantly updated with new skins, items, etc., so there's always something to look forward to. Give it a try if you haven't already, but keep your play time in check. Availability: Android & iOS
  2. While PUBG Mobile has been on the center of all the spotlight, there's new battle royale title in town. That's right. Activision's 'Call of Duty: Mobile' title is now going live for some Android users in beta before the final release. We already spent some time with the game and we think it's better than 'PUBG Mobile'. You can read all about it here. That said, it's worth pointing out that the Call of Duty: Mobile's battle royale mode is a little different. It's more of a tactical shootout, which might take some time getting used to. Here are some tips and tricks that can help you get started and win your first game: 1) Choose The Right Class If you know anything about Call of Duty Mobile, then you're probably already aware of the fact that the game different classes to choose from. Depending on the one you choose, you'll get different abilities and Class skill during the game. It's a crucial part of the game and it's important that you pick the right one that suits your play style. Here's a quick look at each class and the perks that they offer - © Call Of Duty Mobile • Scout As a Scout player, you'll get to utilize 'Sensor Darts' that can view hostile positions in the immediate area of the radar map. Additionally, you also get tracker ability that allows you to see fresh footprints of hostiles. • Clown Clown players can distract with a toy bomb that detonates and summons zombies that only attack hostiles near you. You also get the anti-zombie ability, which reduces the aggression distance of opponents' zombies. • Mechanic You can call an EMP Drone to create electromagnetic interference on hostile forces. You also get the Engineer ability that grants augmented sight to vehicles, hostile traps, and other equipment. • Medic Just like the Apex Legends' 'Llifeline' Legend, you'll be able to setup medic stations to continuously heal your allies in the immediate vicinity. You also get the Master Medic ability that'll help you heal more quickly and reduce the time it usually takes to revive teammates. • Ninja Lastly, there are the Ninja class players who will get a Grapple Gun that fires a hook, allowing them to propel up and onto buildings across the landscape. You also get the Dead Silence ability, that'll allow you to move quietly. 2) Use Vehicles To Get Around © Call of Duty Mobile As is the case with any other battle royale game, Call of Duty also puts you in a huge map. So, obviously, traversing through the map on foot will take a lot of times and there are a ton of vehicles that are worth checking out. Our recommendation would be to man a helicopter with your squad and just rain down fire from above. It's one of the best ways to spot enemies and kill them from above without getting into close combat. You can also rafts to get through the water bodies, but just stay clear of the snipers. They can take you off with just one shot! 3) Keep An Eye On The Supply Drops & Beacons © Call of Duty Mobile If you've played PUBG, then you already know how important Supply Drops are. They can valuable upgrade items that'll help you get an advantage in the game. Call of Duty Mobile also has beacons that mark the location of Class Upgrade items. These items will augment your particular set of skills that exclusive to each class. You might want to be a little cautious while approaching the supply drops because your enemies will also be swarming in to grab the goods. 4) Best Loot Location In The Map © Call Of Duty Mobile You know what's better than waiting for a supply drop for better gears? Drop in an area of the map which has the best loot in the game to get an edge over your enemies. Not all the areas in the map are good looting spots. Some places have enough to get you through the game, whereas some will leave empty-handed. Here are some of the best locations in Call of Duty Mobile where you can get some really good loot - • Sakura • Killhouse • Launch • Nuclear Plant • Shipment • Nuketown
  3. The good folks over at Tencent Games have been working hard to bring some of the most popular games to mobile phones. They first started off with PUBG Mobile, which turned out to be a staggering success. The company also worked with Activision to bring 'Call of Duty' to mobile phones. Now, if the new reports are anything to go by, then it looks like Tencent is working with its US unit Riot Games to develop a mobile version of 'League of Legends', the world's most popular game. That's right, it looks like you'll soon be able to play 'League of Legends' on your mobile phones, and it's a huge deal. © Riot Games According to Reuters, multiple sources have confirmed that the mobile version of 'League of Legends' is Tencent's next big project. In fact, the company is said to have been working on the game for over a year now. The sources noted that Riot Games had declined Tencent's proposal to make the mobile version of 'League of Legends' years ago, following which the developer made multiple similar offerings like 'Honour of Kings', 'Arena of Valor', etc. The 'Honour of Kings', in case you don't know, was launched back in 2015 and became the world's highest grossing multiplayer online battle arena game. © Riot Games 'League of Legends' is nearly ten-years-old and is said to be the most popular title with a long history. “'League of Legends' is like the World Cup, whereas 'Honour of Kings' is just the Asia Cup,” one of the sources said. Right now, we're not entirely sure when this mobile version of the game will launch. However, it'll most likely bring in more Asian players, who're known to play more mobile games over desktop or console. Needless to say, it'll also pour in more revenue. 'League of Legends' brought in $1.4 billion in revenue last year, which is just insane. Source: Reuters
  4. When Activision announced the Call of Duty Mobile, I was kind of sceptical. As excited as I was, it mostly sounded as if Activision was trying to jump the bandwagon of PUBG Mobile. The last thing I wanted was Activision and Tencent fleshing out a half-baked title. Well, the battle royale mode of Call of Duty Mobile went live yesterday for beta users on Android, so I decided to check it out. Honestly, it only took me just a few rounds of the game to realise that it's very different from PUBG Mobile. In a good way. In fact, I'd say it's exceptional. Here's why I think so: © Call of Duty Mobile A 'Scout' Or A 'Clown'? Pick Your Poison! As soon as you start the battle royale mode, you won't be dropped in a server for matchmaking. Instead, you'll get an option to select and customise your loadout, which I found to be very similar to the Team Deathmatch mode of the game. Within the loadout screen, you can also choose to select your 'Class'. © Call of Duty Mobile Yes, there are a total of six classes to choose from. You can either play as a Scout, Clown, Medic, Ninja, Defender or Mechanic. Depending on the class you choose, you'll get special perks. Playing as a 'Scout', for instance, you'll get a 'Sensor Dart', with which you can see the hostile position in the radar map. As a 'Medic' you'll be able to set up a medical station that heals you and allies continuously. Yes, it's very similar to the 'Lifeline' Legend in Respawn's 'Apex Legends'. I am not going to get into details and spoil the fun, so I suggest you check out other classes and their perks once you get your hands on the title when it arrives. It's awesome! © Call of Duty Mobile The ability to select the class of your player by itself is a huge differentiator which makes this game very different, and in fact, much better than PUBG. Don't get me wrong, PUBG's simple BR approach isn't bad. But I was kind of getting bored with it. If you're too, then you'll love the Call of Duty Mobile's Battle Royale mode. Where We Droppin' Once you select your loadout and you're good to go, you'll find yourself in the lobby waiting for other players to join in. You'll then be joining 100 other players before getting dropped into the map. If you're playing in a squad or duos, one of the players will be a designated 'Jump Leader', who'll get the players to a select spot in the map. Again, very similar to Apex Legends' 'Jump Master' feature. © Call of Duty Mobile Instead of taking a parachute, as you would in PUBG Mobile, here you'll be gliding down with the help of a wingsuit. Is it better? Hell yes! I was able to fly across the map and land exactly where I wanted to every single time. It's quick and incredibly smooth. From there on, it's pretty much the same gameplay experience. You'll have to collect weapons and other loot and jump right into the action. Your character will automatically pick up all the necessary items from the ground, so you don't really have to worry about it. Just make sure you improvise and look for better loot as you progress through the game. I want to say the experience is very similar to PUBG, but that's not really the case. A Tactical Shootout Call of Duty Mobile offers a military-style tactical experience. Unlike PUBG Mobile's fancy skins, all players are well-camouflaged from the start, so it's incredibly hard to find out where they are. You really have to rely on the sound of the footsteps or their weapons. © Call of Duty Mobile Depending on the 'Class' you chose earlier in the game, you'll be able to use the perks and get some tactical advantage too. I spent most of the time playing as a 'Scout' player, so I was constantly using it to scan the area and find enemies. It was a lot of fun. The game also has vehicles, and trust me, there are a lot of them. From a two-person ATV to a squad Helicopter, there's literally a lot to choose from. Just make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. © Call of Duty Mobile Before wrapping it up, I'd also like to point out that you can revive your teammates even once they've died. Yes, this isn't something you can do in PUBG Mobile. In Call of Duty Mobile, you can pick up your dead teammate's 'Dogtag' and revive them to bring them back into the action. It's very similar to how you can revive your teammates in some modern battle royale titles like Apex Legends, Fortnite, etc. The Final Say Call of Duty Mobile is a kickass battle royale title that lets you explore to your fullest abilities. It's unlike any other tactical game I've played on mobile, so I'll give full marks for that. If you've played Call Of Duty 4's 'Blackout' mode on PC, Xbox One or PS4, then you'll find yourself right at home. It's very similar to that, which is just awesome. As I mentioned earlier, I was getting bored with PUBG Mobile, to be honest, so I had an amazing time with all the new features like the ability to select classes, customise loadout, etc. If you're bored of PUBG Mobile or Fortnite too, then you'll have a great time slaying enemies in Call of Duty Mobile. Well, at least until there's a new battle royale game in town.
  5. A couple of decades ago, Limba Ram was the personification of focus and unshaken resolve. His dedication and the will to make his country proud even led him to represent the nation thrice in the Olympics and a 30-m World Record shared with Japan's Takayoshi Matsushita with a score of 357/360 that got him the gold medal at the Beijing Asian Archery Championships, 1992. He was even conferred with the Padma Shri in 2012 by former president Pratibha Patil. © PIB Today, he has lost the ability to keep his hands steady and the cognitive ability to join two sentences together with a hollow stare and a confused look on his face. At the age of 46, Ram is suffering from a neurodegenerative disorder called Parkinson's disease, which impacts the cells present deep inside a human brain that are majorly responsible for transferring messages to the rest of the body for movement purposes. The athlete, who almost won the bronze medal for India back in 1992 currently lies in a six-bed general ward of All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) without the funds to limit the spreading of the disease that only gets worse with time leading to the eventual loss of all motor functions and a bedridden living. "The doctors say his illness is not curable but is very much controllable. All my husband needs is good medical treatment which he is getting here with all doctors so supportive and sympathetic towards him. It's just that we need financial support to continue his treatment. Private hospitals in Delhi will charge a fortune, so we can't take him there,” Ram's wife, Merian Jenny said, as reported by the Times of India. The secretary of the Sports Authority of India (SAI), SS Chhabra wrote a letter to the Sports Ministry on 25th April 2019 about the deteriorating condition of the former Indian Olympians, seeking funds to be able to treat his illness in a more fruitful manner. However, the ministry has not reverted yet. While Jenny has faith in the Sports Ministry, her anger is directed towards the Rajasthan State Sports Council (RSSC), where Limba was working before the infamous disease caught hold of him. "Medical bills of Rs 1 lakh are pending with the council and they are not giving us the money. We spent Rs 1.5 lakh on his treatment at the Sawai Man Singh hospital in Jaipur last year. We submitted the bills for reimbursement later on, but only Rs 50,000 has so far been released. It will be of great help if we get that money.”
  6. The last episode of 'Game Of Thrones' was full of darkness and terror, just like the cinematography of the battle of Winterfell. With the Night King meeting his destined death at the hands of the newly crowned hero Arya Stark, today's episode had a lot riding on it in terms of content and key checkpoints for the finale. Now many feel it was boring but then they have so many story lines to end and very little time left, so therefore it was all about building up for the upcoming war. © HBO Now with one dragon presumably dead or gone out of the two and Missandei dying at Cersei's hand, Khaleesi is only burning in rage. The preview of the next episode is interesting in parts and while it does not give out a lot, it still gives out enough to fathom what is coming. It shows a glimpse of fear on Cersei's face, nervousness on Tyrion's face and a "WTF just happened" look on Euron Greyjoy's face. The only sound we hear properly is the screeching arrival of the dragon. Now will Drogon spit fire and burn this dude? Who knows! © HBO Now Dany is vengeful at the moment and she might just kill for the catch and Cersei's head. Varys and Tyrion are at loggerheads because of the options available in front of them and with Tyrion swearing his loyalty to Khaleesi, Varys is exploring options. 12th May is when we get to witness the crazy war so until then, let the assumptions flow.
  7. The battle we've all been waiting for since the end of time, has finally come to an end, and the Night King no longer exists to torment, torture and kill the living. The 'Battle of Winterfell' did get a mixed bag review, as some seemed to have really liked how things ended, while many were disappointed with the abrupt ending and no closure whatsoever. Even so, this was a final goodbye to most of the bad guys and some good guys in the episode and now, it's time to face the eventual enemy- Cersei, in King's Landing. © HBO We're not sure what lies ahead in the upcoming episode but we do know we're going to witness a lot of mind games, negotiations, hate and sarcasm along with a battle in all probability for the Iron Throne. While Cersei and Euron wait out the Winterfell folks, we're sure there are going to be many revelations about the Battle of Winterfell that'll come forth in this episode. © HBO For now, we have enough fodder with us to speculate what can happen in episode 4 of 'GoT' Season 8, since HBO is teasing us with pictures from the next episode, which came out yesterday. It seems like people in Winterfell are joyous about the victory and crushed about losing a lot of people. They're also planning the next big face-off and Dany seems quite content throughout. Here, take a look: (1) It's Time To Take In Suggestions And Decide What's Next. © HBO (2) Euron Definitely Wants To Get Into Cersei's Pants & Make A Baby But Knowing Cersei, Maybe She Has Other Plans? © HBO (3) See What We Mean By She Seems Content? © HBO (4) Folks At Winterfell Mourning The Dead. © HBO (5) He Truly Did Have The Weight Of The World On His Shoulders. © HBO (6) And There They Go, With Their Ships & Troops To King's Landing. © HBO (7) Here's Bidding A Final Goodbye To The People Who Laid Down Their Lives In The Battle Of Winterfell. © HBO (8) They Will Always Burn The Dead Now. © HBO So, there we have it. A glimpse into the upcoming episode 4. We know that Winterfell is mourning their soldiers and the others they lost. Jon and the gang are distraught, but they really need to think about the next possible strategy to defeat the enemy on the east coast of Westeros. Apart from that, the dragons and their mother seem fine. They have their fleet intact and are taking it with them to King's Landing. There's a saying that there's always a Stark present at Winterfell at any given point in time, so we're under the assumption that Bran may stay back? Well, let's find out on Monday, shall we? For now, have fun with these pictures and assume your best!
  8. Spoilers. Kinda. Everything 'Avengers: Endgame' related has been a secret for the longest time, just because of how important of a movie it is. From manipulating the trailers to not even giving the actors entire scripts, the Russo Brothers did everything in their power to keep everything under wraps. But, there will always be rebels. This time, it was Chris Pratt. It's pretty understandable why no one would be allowed to film anything while on the set of the biggest Marvel movie ever, but obviously, the actors know how to sneak around and do something 'illegal'. Remember the whole 'Infinity War' is the biggest crossover ever? Well, it ain't got nothing on 'Endgame' because 'Infinity War' had all the actors, but the actors and their characters never shared any screen time together. Now, in 'Endgame', for people who've seen it, watched literally everyone come together and fight the giant purple grape. So, when they shot the final battle, it was probably the only time every MCU character was together and it's such a rare moment, of course. To remember that once-in-a-lifetime moment, Chris Pratt recorded a secret video of everyone on the set. View this post on Instagram I remember being blown away in this moment on the @avengers set. Nobody was allowed to film anything on their phones. I said screw it. No rule was going to stop me from seizing this once in a lifetime opportunity to capture this collection of stars, a groupthat likely will never be in the same room again. We are so blessed. A post shared by chris pratt (@prattprattpratt) on Apr 29, 2019 at 12:57am PDT Thank you, Chris, but sorry, you're still my least favourite Chris. Chris Evans being a cutie in the video will obviously take the top spot. He wrote in the caption, “I remember being blown away in this moment on the Avengers set. Nobody was allowed to film anything on their phones. I said screw it. No rule was going to stop me from seizing this once in a lifetime opportunity to capture this collection of stars, a group that likely will never be in the same room again. We are so blessed.” Even Evans agrees it's awesome. This is awesome. (I may or may not have stolen a few cool videos too) https://t.co/M9vaC4TWcx — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) April 29, 2019 Groot is impressed. And Nebula. Diplo being Diplo. And, then there's Thanos himself. Lastly, the best part of the video.
  9. Today's gory and dark episode of the Battle of Winterfell left us all shook with horror and squinting our eyes to see who died and what was actually happening during the battle, thanks to some great camera angles and brilliant cinematography, however, all was forgiven when we watched the brave Arya Stark slice up the Night King like no one's business and just like that, the Battle of Winterfell got us thinking hard about what comes next. One theory that was debunked in today's episode was about the identity of the mythical hero, Azhor Ahai who was promised to the land. According to the legend in the 'GOT' world, he is born in the line of Aerys II and Rhaella and according to Rhaegar Targaryen, his is the song of ice and fire. However, it is more of a gender-neutral word. The Azhor Ahai has forged a sword called the 'Lightbringer' meant to defeat the god of death. It is believed that he had to sacrifice his wife in order to pay the price and it is believed that he will come back again. Until now, everyone thought either Jaime Lannister or Jon Snow might be the prince and either of them would kill the Night King and reveal their true nature. © HBO However, we witnessed what happened and boy, was it crazy?! Now, everyone believes that the promised prince is none other Arya Stark herself. One of the things which trace back to that possibility is back in season 3, when Mellisandre meets Arya and predicts that she will kill people with green, blue and brown eyes. She killed the Night King who had blue eyes. © HBO Also, Arya got the dagger from Bran at Godswood which is exactly the place where she killed the Night King. So, now everyone is joining the dots and waiting for an official declaration but until then, Arya Stark is being believed to be the promised Azhor Ahai.
  10. The copy contains major spoilers. Proceed with caution. The Battle of Winterfell was gory, but it was cathartic in some ways and satisfying and shocking towards the end when Arya Stark meets the Night King and slays him like butter on bread. However, it was also dark like Mellisandre's 'the night is dark and full of terrors' dialogue. Dark in both metaphoric and literal terms. Honestly, I thought it was probably my internet and the crap quality of the screen maybe, but seems like I wasn't the only who thought this battle was 'too dark' because so many people are shouting 'SAME'. This scene was absolutely mental #GOT x pic.twitter.com/4LL6Ei77N8 — ᴾᴬáµá´¸á´°á´¼á¶á´· (@PaulDock93) April 29, 2019 #NOTTODAY #GameofThrones #AryaStark2020 (That episode was too dark, though, seriously. 90 minutes of “what's going on?” and “who's that?”) — Pam K. Nail (@pknail) April 29, 2019 It's kind of hilarious that after I spent the day expecting Twitter to explode with emotion during Game of Thrones, all that's on my TL, from like 30 different people, is "Why is it so dark?" — Linda Holmes (@lindaholmes) April 29, 2019 I was thankful that Mellisandre lit that fire so that at least there was some light on my screen, else I'd have to continue squinting my way through the entire episode. Love Game of Thrones and from the 7 mins of clarity that I could actually see, it was awesome. Just way too dark to make out as much as I wanted to. — Ryan Crowley (@75bankerboy) April 29, 2019 Anyway, who are we to complain? The series will end in 3 weeks and then there will no night or darkness so let's just savour it while we can.
  11. Okay, in case you're waiting to savour today's insane episode of 'Game of Thrones' later in the evening, then you have been warned, because just like the night is full of darkness and terror, this one has a few major spoilers for you. For the rest of us who are still shook, here's what the next episode might bring. So, the Battle of Winterfell lasted long enough for a few people to die but it was crazy towards the end when Arya Stark struck down the mighty Night King. Now, the whole 'he just died in a jiffy' has left everyone with a bit of indigestion thinking how easy that was, if not quick. But we forget that this is 'GOT' and things can happen rather quickly and with only 3 more episodes to go, there are so many plots that need attention. With the battle now being won, it looks like Cersei and Khaleesi are ready for a face-off. So many people have scores to settle with Cersei, who conveniently decided to stay out of the war and now, Khaleesi only wants more bloodshed. © HBO Now, here's what I feel we can expect from the next 'Game Of Thrones' episode with the Night King resting in an ice cube somewhere. There will be another gory battle between the living. There has to a 'Cleganebowl' where we fear the Hound might die. The Starks and the dragon queen might have a slight tiff between them which could be tricky for a certain Tyrion Lannister and, of course, there is the anticipated madness that might grip our dear Dany given the threat to her throne in the form of lover Jon Snow and no Jorah to calm her nerves down. With so much left to witness, the action is only getting crazier.
  12. Can you believe that there are just a handful of episodes left before 'Game Of Thrones' ends? While I'm sure tonnes of surprises await us before it all goes down, key players like Cersei and her (elephant-less) army, and the shady Iron Islands will definitely be safe next episode which means they get time to plan big surprises. Monday's episode was the last feel-good episode we needed to be ready with before a storm, an impending doom. We're ready now. The Battle Of Winterfell is going to be a long episode, with the longest recording time, this episode is definitely going to see some of the gory deaths that we were promised this season and it's going to be of characters that we adore. So here's our guess list--- all the people who could possibly die in the next episode. Podrick Payne © HBO While The Jenny's Song that he sung last episode contributed a lot to the storyline but in the major scheme of things, it looks like he's not going to matter a lot going forward. He's a minor member of a minor noble house (one subservient to the Lannisters, at that), and if he analyses his character through the seasons, his main function has been to give a pep talk to more important characters which more likely suggests that he'll be gone soon enough. Jorah Mormont © HBO Jorah has always served Danaerys and for obvious reasons was a little taken aback when she made Tyrion the Hand of the Queen. However, in the last episode, he did a little selfless act by convincing Dany that Tyrion despite his rookie mistakes is still a good asset to have. This rids him of any possible twist that he could be a part of. Receiving Sam's house's prized possession: a Valyrian steel sword, Jorah's imminent death in the next episode will only be poetic. Eddison Tollett © HBO Last seen on Monday joining Jon and Samwell to reflect on how they've all made it so far together was an emotional scene. Unfortunately, it looks like Eddison may be the one to fall this week. Beric Dondarrion © HBO Carrying around a rad fire sword doesn't guarantee safety on 'Game Of Thrones'. While it may play a major role in the big battle of fire and ice but the character who possesses it, not so much. Maybe he's here to deliver it to someone. And now, here's a list of people whose fate remains dicey: Gendry © HBO This show, in the first episode, suggested that one of Ned's daughters will wind up with one of Robert's sons. But then again, everything is frivolous, especially lives on this show. Or seeing Gendry die could give a purpose to Arya to assassinate one of the key White Walkers. Or, he could survive and there might be a possible happy ending. Who knows? Ser Davos © HBO He spent the last episode telling everyone how he's terrible at battle but has managed to survive this long, which either means he's going to keep on surviving…or possibly signal that he's definitely not built to survive this one. Brienne of Tarth © HBO The internet is divided over Brienne's imminent death. Being knighted and then dying a death of honour in the battlefield looks like a sad but fitting end for her. But she is in the middle of Westeros' love triangle. That storyline can't just be abandoned, right? Tormund Giantsbane © HBO The internet also thinks that Tormund might end up sacrificing himself to save Brienne which could be plausible. But, Tormund is the only major Wildling left (it's unclear how many others are still around). After the war, the Wildlings will need some representation, or will that not matter anymore? Jaime Lannister © HBO There are tonnes of hints on the show that suggest that the ultimate fate of the house of Lannister is to go completely extinct. But he is also currently separated from the character most important to his storyline. Cersei and Jamie's fates have to be intertwined, right? Theon Greyjoy © HBO He is probably destined to die to excuse his sins, but he has to at least survive to the point where the Iron Islands come back into the picture. Grey Worm © HBO Making post-war plans with Missandei has everyone thinking that Greyworm will definitely die and possibly will be witnessed by Missandei herself. But he might live to die in the later episodes. Characters who're definitely going to live: The major characters... But we can't be too sure, can we?
  13. The entire world is preparing to witness the gory aesthetics of the battle of Winterfell as the armies have united with the Starks to save themselves from the wrath of the Night Walker and his wights. we got hold of some unseen images from the next episode which gives out a few hints from what can we expect. The one image which surprised and confused us at the same time is where you can see Khaleesi and Jon Snow standing on a hill top as the battle of Winterfell is on in the background ( or that is how it seems to be ), or it could possibly be them looking out for the Night King's arrival. © HBO another image has Tyrion and Varys having a deep conversation in the crypts. There's an image of Sansa Stark in a pensive mood , who later joins her sister Arya. © HBO © HBO © HBO There's an image of Brienne of Tarth with Jamie Lannister as they face the army of the dead © HBO And a scared Jon Snow looks horrified which I don't know, probably announces the arrival of the Night King? © HBO With a myriad of theories flying around us, the wait is making us go mad already! In case you don't wake up at 6:30 am every Monday to witness the madness first hand, you can also catch 'Game Of Thrones' on Star World every Tuesday at 10 pm.
  14. The last episode of 'Game of Thrones' was the last 'peaceful' episode before the brutal deaths that we were promised this season. Before the long-awaited Battle of Winterfell, we can see everyone strategizing, and mitigating the storm in the form of the Army of The Dead any time now. Characters who won't fight in the field like women and children like Gilly and her son, Little Sam, will be hiding underground in the crypts of Winterfell. © HBO Everyone is so sure that the crypts of Winterfell is the safest place to hide. If you're not fit for the field, no harm will come to you in the crypts. Even Gilly is even seen advising a fellow woman, "when the time comes, you'll be down in the crypts. They're the safest place to be." Jon tries to protect Bran as he tells him he should join the women and children. So does Daenerys, with Tyrion, she tells him she'll need his mind later which is an asset to her. However, are the crypts of Winterfell really safe? I mean, think about how the Night King wields his power. Aside from the magic that he's capable of, (the extent of which is still unknown) he can awaken the dead to fight for him. And what exactly lies in the crypts of Winterfell? ...exactly. Also, think about all the folks who are buried in the crypts: members of the Stark family, including Ned, Lyanna, and Rickon. (Robb's body was desecrated by the Freys and it's unclear where—or if—Catelyn is buried.) The prospect of Stark zombies is nightmarish. © HBO In the trailer, they also show Arya running from someone for the next episode. © HBO It looks like she's in the crypts of Winterfell, and she could possibly be running from the Stark zombies. So, you see how the safe place can quickly turn into a zombie land that no one fathomed?
  15. One of the most celebrated cricket leagues around the world, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has covered almost half of its journey so far. With all teams fighting hard for a spot in the top four, the real game is yet to unfold. Currently, all the teams are playing with their full bench strength, but what if we remove most of the foreign players from the equation? Yes, as the ICC World Cup 2019 approaches, most of the big names such as David Warner, Chris Gayle, Johnny Bairstow will leave to play for their country. More or less, all the big teams except India and Australia are playing one or more bilateral ODI series before the World Cup. The main reason behind this is to bring the teams back into the groove ahead of the main tournament. While West Indies will be playing Ireland and Bangladesh from 5th May, England, on the other hand, will be hosting Pakistan from 5th May itself. All this comes down to many players including Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer who are currently playing in the IPL, leaving right away in the second half of the tournament. Here is how the teams could potentially stack up following the departure of their foreign players- 1. Kolkata Knight Riders View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kolkata Knight Riders (@kkriders) on Apr 19, 2019 at 9:32pm PDT Kolkata Knight Riders will be one of the most worst-affected teams in the final stages of the tournaments. They will have to depend solely on their local strength as players like Sunil Narine, Carlos Braithwaite, Joe Denly, Lockie Ferguson and many more will be leaving for national duty. The only ones that haven't been selected in the World Cup squad or the teams for upcoming tournaments will play in the IPL. Chris Lynn, Harry Gurney and Matt Kelly will be amongst the foreign players left with KKR. 2. Sunrisers Hyderabad View this post on Instagram A post shared by SunRisers Hyderabad (@sunrisershyd) on Apr 23, 2019 at 1:01am PDT Another team which will be bear the brunt of the World Cup preparation will be the SunRisers Hyderabad as their entire top order will collapse with the departure of Warner, Bairstow, Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson. Not only this, even their spin department will take a major blow when their Afghani duo of Mohammed Nabi and Rashid Khan along with Shakib-Al-Hasan will leave in the middle of the tournament. 3. Delhi Capitals View this post on Instagram A post shared by Delhi Capitals (@delhicapitals) on Apr 17, 2019 at 10:04pm PDT The table toppers at the moment, Delhi Capitals, could have been one of the least affected teams after the departure of its foreign players but unfortunately, their key bowler, Kagiso Rabada will also join the list. Playing for South Africa, Rabada will leave as soon as the national camp begins. Along with him, Colin Munro and Trent Boult will also be expected to leave in the middle of the season itself for the same reason. 4. Chennai Super Kings View this post on Instagram A post shared by Chennai Super Kings (@chennaiipl) on Apr 20, 2019 at 7:07am PDT The defending champions might not face that big a problem because most of the foreign players they own are not included in their national squad except for the South African duo of Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir along with Mitchell Santer and David Willey. Tahir would be their only worry as he is their leading wicket-taker and both main spinners leaving at the same time might cause some problems, but even for that, they do have Harbhajan Singh and Ravinder Jadeja as backups. 5. Rajasthan Royals View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rajasthan Royals (@rajasthanroyals) on Apr 23, 2019 at 4:30am PDT Rajasthan Royals should be expecting a lot of trouble comings its way, as a majority of foreign players are performing in their team and soon, even they would leave. While the new skipper, Steve Smith will leave for Australia, Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler will depart to play against Pakistan at the beginning of May. In the end, they would be only left with Liam Livingstone, who has just played one game till now and Ashton Turner, who is currently going through a nightmare of a season. 6. Mumbai Indians View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mumbai Indians (@mumbaiindians) on Apr 20, 2019 at 7:16am PDT The three-time champions, Mumbai Indians will have to face the drums as most of their star-performing players would leave the MI camp as the World Cup comes closer. The first name will be Quinton de Kock, followed by Alzarri Joseph, Lasith Malinga, Adam Milne, Jason Behrendorff and Mitchell McClenaghan. The one player that is doubtful is Kieron Pollard who also might leave if selected in the West Indies World Cup Squad. It will be a real test for Rohit Sharma and his men to perform in the conditions in which they have never played before. 7. Royal Challengers Bangalore View this post on Instagram A post shared by Royal Challengers Bangalore (@royalchallengersbangalore) on Apr 19, 2019 at 9:00pm PDT The Virat Kohli-led RCB currently has a lot on stake, and with the WC approaching, things might get out of hand for them, as a few of their key players might leave early for national duty. The earliest one to leave will be Moeen Ali as England is playing Pakistan before the main tournament. The next in line would be Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer, Dale Steyn, Colin de Grandhome and Tim Southee. Already being on the 8th spot, it will become even more difficult for Kohli and AB de Villiers to help their team do any good. 8. Kings XI Punjab View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kings XI Punjab (@kxipofficial) on Apr 22, 2019 at 3:12am PDT The lions of Punjab are among the lucky few teams that might not be adversely affected by this exit as most of their home players are doing well. The only sad news for Punjab fans would be the desertion of Chris Gayle and David Miller for their respective nationals teams. Apart from that, KXIP contains an awesome pool of young local talent including Mayank Agarwal and Sarfaraz Khan who will surely help the team in making it to the playoffs.
  16. As the date inches closer for the epic finale of the 'Avengers' series, I must confess that I am pretty close to losing my Goddamn mind! Also, it doesn't help that Marvel has decided to launch a flurry of TV spots every freaking day with second-long new footage from 'Endgame'. The latest TV spot finally gave us a taste of what all of us were desperately waiting for: Cap & Tony Vs Thanos. Yes, we also got the first look of Valkyrie, but let's be honest here, there was only one thing in this sport that left us salivating for more. We all know that this epic battle is going to leave some major casualties…okay, let's not go there now. But this one-second shot has already given us an idea of how epic, mind-blowing and incredible this the final battle is going to be, even though we may lose some of our beloved heroes forever. Here's hoping you guys have already booked your tickets (I have!), and if not…well, ab milne se raha!
  17. The reactions to the first two episodes of the epic final season of 'Game Of Thrones' have been quite mixed in terms of some predictable moments and some 'OMG' moments. Now the preview of the next episode in line shows a glimpse of what will be a crazy 1 hour 22 minute ride. After Khaleesi finding out that Jon Snow is actually her nephew, what do you think will be the consequences of this new found information for her? © HBO Now it's that vs the dead queuing up to kill and take whatever is theirs (at least according to the Night King). The preview of the next episode shows a glimpse of the beginning of the war in the North. The battle took insane efforts to be shot in real life and the cast and crew have been very vocal about this emotionally drenching experience. That moment when you hear the fear in Jon Snow's voice when he exclaims that 'the Night King is coming', we wonder if he spots him flying the now-dead dragon and processing the sight. The insanity is driving us crazy, to be honest.
  18. Just two weeks after retiring from the octagon notorious MMA fighter, aka Conor McGregor reached a new low in his recent Twitter activity. Known for his low-blows on social media, the Irishman got himself in a whole lot of trouble when he posted a photo calling Khabib Nurmagomedov's wife, who is a Muslim, “a towel”. Though there was no outcome to the accusation and criminal charges against McGregor, he is still being accused of the same. The amazing man can put a lock on anyone's tongue with the amount of vocabulary knowledge his brain has and his language skills are probably sharper than an IELTS examiner. © Twitter However, ace comedian Hasan Minhaj, who is currently enjoying mega-fame with his show on Netflix, attempted to indulge in a battle of words with Mr Tharoor, and to our surprise, the Congress leader lost! 22. Respawn Entertainment's 'Apex Legends' is currently enjoying its time as one of the most popular Battle Royale titles of all time. The game recently hit 50 million players worldwide, which clearly means it's making some noise in the industry. Now that 'Apex Legends' has established a place for itself in the industry, it's important that we turn our attention to the future and see what Respawn Entertainment is cooking for us. Will there be a new map? New legends to play with? Yes, there are a lot of burning questions, so, here's everything we know about the Apex Legends battle pass: Apex Legends Roadmap Respawn Entertainment has always been pretty optimistic about the title and it even revealed its year one roadmap for the game during its launch last month. Here below is a peek at the roadmap: © Respawn Entertainment Yes, 'Apex Legends' season one will begin this month and the first battle pass will be available to purchase. We still don't have an exact date, but an anonymous source claims that March 12 will be the big day. Every new season, as you can see, will bring a new weapon (hopefully multiple weapons), legends, loot, and a new battle pass each time. We think there will also be an option to buy an annual battle pass, although there's no official word on that just yet. If everything goes as per the plan, then we'll get a new season every three months, which means the players are in for a slew of content throughout the year. Battle Pass Contents In the official Apex Legends FAQ page, the developer has clearly mentioned that the Battle Pass will reward players with exclusive cosmetic items. From legends and weapon skins to character quips and banner poses, we're expecting to see an influx of rewards. You'll also get Apex Packs, which will give you a chance of earning more cosmetic items. © Twitter The FAQ page also makes it very clear that new legends will not be a part of the Battle Pass. That, in all honesty, does make a lot of sense as the legends are a more valuable commodity and you can't have too many legends like, say, the skins. That being said, we think you'll be able to buy the new legends with Apex Coins or even with Legend tokens. Speaking of new legends, there are some leaks which suggest that we'll see a new legend named 'Octane' with some impressive abilities like restoring health, deployable jump pad, and more. We don't have all the info yet, but this is what the new legend could look like - © Electronic Arts Will There Be New Challenges? Challenges are the crux of every successful Battle Royale games like 'Fortnite'. Incentivize your challenges with high-quality rewards, and you can have the players engaged in your game for a long time. And if 'Apex Legends' truly wants to go head-to-head with the likes of 'Fortnite', then challenges would be a good place to start. However, there's no indication that the 'Apex Legends' Battle Pass will have any challenges just yet. © Respawn Entertainment How Much Will The Battle Pass Cost Respawn has remained tight-lipped about the Battle Pass so far, so your guess is as good as ours. But we hope 'Apex Legends' will undercut Fortnite's Battle Pass, which costs a little less than $10.
  23. 2003 was a different time for both India and Pakistan. Much like today, some sensible sections of both nations wanted peace and prosperity over a war. A year in which the neighbouring nations agreed to a Cease Fire Agreement. Such were the relations, that India toured Pakistan the very next year and came out on top by beating them comprehensively in both Test and ODI series. Remember Sehwag's 309? Well, that was in Pakistan. © Reuters India vs Pakistan has always been a clash charged with emotions, energy and the determination to get one over the other, for players and fans both. If we're to compare it with a footballing rivalry it is 10 times bigger than El Clasico and North-West Derby (Manchester United vs Liverpool). This game is the only one where I'll see even my grandma glued to the television, constantly asking about the score and the players who are batting. It was the fourth World Cup meeting between the neighbours, exactly 16-years back when 'someone' named Sachin Tendulkar stayed true to his godly status, scoring 98 off 75 balls at Centurion. © Reuters I still remember, as a 7-year old, how disheartening it was watching Saeed Anwar's classy century help Pakistan to a total of 273. It was a match between India's batting vs Pakistan's bowling; India, possessing the likes Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid in their batting lineup and Pakistan having the likes Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar and Abdur Razzak at their disposal. It was a match Tendulkar said he'd been thinking/listening about for a year. Having spent 12 sleepless nights, Tendulkar's audacity upfront changed everything. Slamming Pakistani bowlers as if he playing at a local cricket club, the Master Blaster showed no signs of anxiety. His majestic six over the square third man became an iconic shot. To the amusement of many, this was the only time I saw my father jump in joy, and scream, “Only this man can hit a shot like that.” © Reuters In the end, Tendulkar was injured and fell prey to the Rawalpindi Express' shot delivery, robbing him of a well-deserved ton. Rahul Dravid and Yuvraj Singh then stepped up to steady the ship, helping India to a comfortable win, leading me to overhear the ladies in my street talking about how well India batted and how they won it by losing only four wickets.

What makes the victory even sweeter is the fact that the franchise was banned from the league due to match-fixing allegations and this was their year of redemption. Not so exciting for Bengaluru though as Kohli and gang were amongst the lowest ranked teams (6th in 8 teams) and did not even qualify for the playoffs.
