Our first glimpse of Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon was probably in an ice cream ad where she apparently gets annoyed at her on-screen boyfriend only to be later won over by being gifted with all kinds of ice creams. © Instagram/Kriti Sanon Now, that was kind of really long ago! The actress has really come a long way since, having done a fair share of films in her career as a Bollywood mainstay. Recently, however, Kriti has taken a good turn in her career by doing content-driven films that have left the audience impressed with her performances. So far, she has had a good balance of commercial Bollywood flicks and content-oriented films, a thing which can only be good for her career and also her bank balance. Her next line-up of films includes Mimi, Hum Do Humare Do, Bachchan Pandey, Bhediya and Adipurush. © Paddock Films Speaking on her good run in Bollywood, Kriti reveals that she is relishing the kind of films she's doing at the moment and does not feel that pressure. "There is no pressure. I feel excited, motivated, and thrilled because this is what I wanted to do. This is where I wanted to be and when I have reached where I have these kinds of opportunities in front of me,” said Kriti. The 31-year-old actress, who in 2019, appeared in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list also said that she loves doing different kinds of characters in films. “I am doing films which are not similar in any genre or flavour at all. I am getting to play so many different kinds of characters, getting to work with such amazing directors and stories that I would want to be a part of. I don’t think there is anything more than you can ask as an actor and in a stage where you are getting your due and appreciation you crave for as an actor,” she said. In recent times, Kriti has gone on to become very bankable at the box office with most of her films receiving good reviews both from critics and fans, and the actress says that she is certainly enjoying all of it. “All the love and validation is the only thing we get in return. Once that starts pouring you feel more satisfied and motivated. I am thrilled and enjoying this beautiful phase and I am looking forward to each and every film I have done.” said Kriti.
