  4. In a world of binge-watching, fast food, swiping right, social media and deadlines, we hardly get time to pause and give undivided attention to something. Be it our lifestyle choices or daily routines, everything needs to be convenient and quick, especially when we are on the go. And this everything also includes our beard-grooming routine that needs to be fuss-free, quick, and under 10 minutes. So here's a tried-and-tested, everyday grooming regime that is designed specially to cater to men with tight schedules. To add the cherry on the top, Team MensXP also incorporated organic and natural grooming products from Qtrove.com which made all the difference in the world. The routine is practical, clever, and quick. Check it out! 1. A Quick Wash Qtrove.com The first rule of maintaining a thick, healthy beard is to ditch the regular soaps for a good beard wash, preferably something which is organic and natural. When you go for your morning shower, use a beard shampoo that will clean the hair from root to tip in a jiffy. We recommend the Almond and Thyme Beard Wash by The Man Company for your daily use. The product is 100% natural, and is infused with premium essential oils that have a relaxing effect on the skin and promote thick, strong, and shiny growth. Buy the product here. 2. Oiling Is A Must Qtrove.com After you are done with the wash, make sure you towel-dry and finger-comb your beard. Try and avoid blow drying. Next, we suggest use a beard oil to restore smoothness and shine to your frizzy beard. This hardly takes a minute! We recommend the Lavender & Cedarwood Beard Oil that moisturises the skin, promotes hair growth and has anti-bacterial benefits that ensure you have a healthy, easy-to-manage beard. The oil has a wonderful blend of lavender and cedarwood extracts - both known for their anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that ensure your beard is healthy always. Buy the product here. Qtrove.com Buy the product here. On some days when you feel like taking a break from the woody fragrance, we recommend the Argan and Geranium Beard Oil, designed specifically to help you grow a lush and manageable beard. Apart from Moroccan Argan and geranium, the product also packs in Frankincense, juniper berry, almond oil, hazelnut oil, and jojoba oil. These ingredients soften the facial hair and enhance the manageability of the beard. 3. Don't Forget To Moisturise Qtrove.com Moisturisation has to be an essential part of your grooming routine. You cannot miss this part, even when you are staying indoors. We recommend the Argan and Mint Beard Creme by The Man Company that moisturises facial hair, reduces itch, and provides nourishment and styling benefits for all types of beards, no matter what the length is. In fact, argan acts a protective cover for your beard against environmental damage, while mint extracts make your beard smell incredible and have a cooling sensation on the skin. 5. Getting the right beard for your face can be tricky business. There are tonnes of beard styles to choose from and there's the question of what suits your face and what doesn't. The good part about a well-groomed beard is that if angled well, it can easily hide your face fat. Here are celebrity-approved beard styles that you should look out for this season that have worked well for celebrities and by extension, will work for you: 1. Zac Efron © Instagram For the promotion of his movie based on the life of serial killer Ted Bundy, 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile', Zac Efron dyed his hair and sported a beard that worked so well for his face. We love the disjointed moustache and beard, which despite being separate, complement each other so well. 2. Shahid Kapoor © Instagram Beard days for Shahid Kapoor are back. After roughly spending quite some time without it, Shahid Kapoor has grown a wild one for his movie 'Kabir Singh' and also sports a subtler version for its promotions. 3. Siddhant Chaturvedi © Instagram MC Sher's charm in 'Gully Boy' partly came from Siddhant Chaturvedi's beard. This is a minimal effort beard that doesn't take that long to grow. Consistency is key so be patient if you want to grow a beard like him. 4. Ranveer Singh © Instagram Post 'Gully Boy', Ranveer Singh depends on two signatures. A single moustache on an otherwise clean-shaven face or a medium-grown beard with a slightly shaped moustache. We think this is a great beard style if you want to stand out in a room full of bearded men. 5. Jake Gyllenhaal © Instagram We're excited for his Marvel debut with the upcoming 'Spiderman' movie but in the meantime, we can admire him for his thickly grown beard which definitely works well for his face structure. 6. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau © Instagram We love Jaime Lannister in 'GoT' but outside of it, the man does know a thing or two about grooming a fine salt and pepper beard. 7. Jim Sarbh © Instagram We love Jim Sarbh's beard that has a raw aesthetic to it. There's something about natural beards that are rather attractive and Jim Sarbh is a prime example in that category. 8. Hrithik Roshan © Instagram Hrithik Roshan just posted a selfie with a freshly grown beard. This beard is perfect for the hot months when maintaining a full beard is practically impossible.
  6. Jason Momoa and his beard almost share a relationship like The Rock and his muscles - you just can't imagine him without it. Be it Khal Drogo or Aquaman, that macho beard gave every character he played an inimitable edge, something fans used to obsess over, rightfully so. As sudden and weird as it might be for the fans, he did it for a reason, which is dedicated to a cleaner, greener environment. On an Instagram post, Momoa wrote: "Goodbye DROGO, AQUAMAN, DECLAN, BABA New YouTube episode please subscribe and share this video. LINK in BIO . 7. Bollywood's Rishi Kapoor is one of the most respected actors of the film industry and is loved by millions from all around the country. He is known for his versatility on the big screen and also the fact that he is the head of one of the most popular families of Indian cinema adds to his fame. Having said that, ever since Twitter fever took over us Indians, the legend has made a name for himself as the ultimate troll who does not back down from roasting the biggest names from any profession, field or area. The latest prey to Kapoor's comical expedition are the 15 of India's ace cricketers who have been selected to represent the nation at the upcoming 2019 ICC World Cup in England and Wales starting 30th May 2019. In an astute observation made by the actor, Kapoor took to Twitter to through out a question on the internet about the obsession with growing a beard or donning a stubble seen in the Men in Blue. To make his case stronger, the intrigued actor also shared a picture of what seems like a newspaper clipping showing the faces the Indian roster for the World Cup. Don't take this picture as a reference point but why do most of our cricket players sport full facial hair(beards)? All Samson's?(remember he had his strength in his hair) Surely they look smart and dashing without it. Just an observation! pic.twitter.com/QMLuQ0zikw — Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) April 16, 2019 “Don't take this picture as a reference point but why do most of our cricket players sport full facial hair(beards)? All Samson's?(remember he had his strength in his hair) Surely they look smart and dashing without it. Just an observation,” tweeted the actor. In his defence, other than the former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, literally every other member of the squad have a beard or at least a stubble on their faces and it does make a very good case for him. As expected, the tweet became viral and responses and reactions from all over the nation started to pour in: Pretty sure that negotiations with Gillette to sponsor the team mustn't have worked out — atul kasbekar (@atulkasbekar) April 16, 2019 'Wow, that clean shaven guy looks super manly'. Said no one ever. — Guv Bassi (@GurvinderBassi) April 16, 2019 Beard is like Kapoors in bollywood.. they are everywhere in Bollywood.. 8. If this is your first time growing a beard and you don't know how to proceed from here, or you've had a couple of failed attempts in terms of growing a beard, you need to read below. Growing a beard is not tough if you do it the right way, and if you do it right, you can get a healthier, wholesome, softer and fuller beard. 1. Here's The Plan Do your research and figure out which beard styles flatter your face shape. If you have a long rectangular face structure, a narrow beard is not going to do you any good. While growing, make sure that extreme sides are soft so that you can mould it any which way that you want. You should always keep the crop flexible so that you can shape it whenever you want. 2. But You've Got To Be Patient © Getty Images Time is key. You can't be impatient if you're growing a beard, okay? The beard that you can possibly grow could be mighter than the one you can fathom. So, it's important to be patient and grow through the process. So the patches that you're worried about after a stubble will take a while to grow. So, you stay at it, you'll reap the benefits. We promise. 3. Shave The Sides Well You could either let the scruff grow or if you want to actually grow it out the way you want to you should take charge of the neck and cheek lines. Maintain them well by shaving them in a shape that you like. Rely on your intuition or take help of a professional in shaping them. 4 Take Supplements For The Beard © Getty Images Supplements can help grow your beard faster. Take hair supplements and dietary supplements that help in hair growth for a new crop that's softer and fuller. 5 Keep Trimming It's less about layering and more about shaping the beard. An awkward growth doesn't look good on the face. Think of it this way: you can't grow everything to equal length at the same time which where trimming comes into the picture. 6. Use A Conditioning Product © Getty Images A product like a beard conditioner and a hair oil help create growth that is soft and itch-free( for you and your partner). Massage any of them into your whiskers daily for maximum effect.
  9. Chris Evans and his facial hair is a conversation that will never die down, be it his 'Infinity War' beard or his pornstache. Well, actually the pornstache is even hated by Chris Evans now, and talking about it and looking at those pictures is an act of aggression for him. This is clearly an act of aggression. There are literally hundreds of photos to choose from. What did I ever do to you, Canada? https://t.co/3sAEARiTq4 — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) February 12, 2019 There was even a 'stache battle recently, started by none other than Robert Downey Jr. This is clearly an act of aggression. There are literally hundreds of photos to choose from. What did I ever do to you, Canada? https://t.co/3sAEARiTq4 — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) February 12, 2019 But, now the focus is back of the beard. Recently, the debate of Cap's beard was brought up again at a press conference in Los Angeles and was followed by a vote. Since the cast can't spill anything about the movie, obviously, they're sticking to something much more important. The entire cast was asked to vote for bearded Cap or clean shaven Cap, and well, we all know who will win this. The Avengers actors were asked to raise their hands if they preferred Bearded or Not Bearded Chris Evans pic.twitter.com/9O8BJq9fZj — Kyle Buchanan (@kylebuchanan) April 7, 2019 Everyone prefers bearded Cap, except for Danai Gurira, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Feige. Paul Rudd prefers both, because he's the most lovable person and can never hate on something. Also, I will forever be mad at RDJ for not answering, this is not done. What happened to your bromance now? I kind of feel bad for the second best Chris because Cap basically copied his beard and now Cap's beard is the hottest topic of discussion. Well, RDJ is just playing games now. Asked who prefers bearded Cap vs. clean-shaven Cap, everyone but Danai, Karen, and Feige prefers bearded Cap. Rudd likes both. RDJ prefers Cap with a prosthetic over his beard for the post-credits schwarma joke at the end of the first Avengers film. #AvengersEndgame — Adam B. 10. Men with round facial features sometimes face problems like a double chin or a less desired face shape. They can benefit from facial hair, and a full grown beard can, in fact, provide a fine hard structure along a sharp jawline by increasing the height of the face. Growing a beard with angular edges or growing a strong circle goatee can elongate the shape and give the appearance of a more chiselled jaw. So here are some of the beards that you could try to get fine jaw line without any signs of the face fat. 1. The Inverted T-Beard © MensXP Disconnected beard is defined by a floating moustache and a high chin hair growth resembling an inverted T. Inverted T beards come in many shapes and sizes. You can ask your stylist which one suits you the best. 2. Boxed Beard © MensXP Boxed beards are trimmed alternatives to Full Beards. They're the best option for those who want a classic beard style but have an aversion to the Full Beard's excessive volume. 3. Pointed Beard © MensXP Pointed Beard is characterized with the fact that the top part above the jawline is usually kept neat and trimmed. Secondly, the length below and on the chin is grown out and groomed into a point. 4. Full Beard © MensXP The full beard is the oldest style in the beard tradition. It covers the entire surface length of of the face and looks au naturel. 5. The Circle Beard © MensXP Circle beards are commonly referred to as goatees, albeit incorrectly.
  11. Here's a realistic scenario for you. For some xyz reason, you have to shave the beard off your face. However, shaving your beard is like a nightmare that you don't want to take part in. You're afraid of razor burns and cuts. But if you shave while taking care of everything, you might possibly master the technique of the good shave sans razor burns. 1. Take A Hot Bath © Getty Images Hot water makes your skin soft which reduces friction between your skin and the beard and helps the razor glide through your skin smoothly. 2. Lather Up © Getty Images Take two blobs of the shaving cream and massage gently on your face and neck then you wait for a while and let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes. It's important to remember that a dry shave drags the blade across the skin, increasing the likelihood of ingrown hairs, razor bumps, and irritation. 3. Use A Fresh Blade © Getty Images Men use old blades that cause tears in the skin that can be uncomfortable. A standard razor can be used about 5 to 7 times before it gets spoilt. 4. Respect The Order © Getty Images Start with the sides of your beard, then move to your neck and up your chin, and end with your moustache. Mixing things up might lead to haphazard growth. 5. Reduce The Pressure © Getty Images Pushing hard against your skin only increases skin irritation. Avoid rough handling by smoothly gliding by using a pre-shave essential oil. 6. Rinse & Repeat © Getty Images Wash the razor after every two strokes to clear stubble and cream that can cause nicks. Finally, apply a moisturizer to help your skin heal.

  13. Rana Daggubati perhaps is the only 'villain', who has a bigger fan following than most 'heroes'. The strapping lad has a gift of getting fans weak in the knees, and his weapon of choice is his massive, monster beard. Though the beard has taken over and we hardly get to see anyone steer clear of it anymore, the beard that Rana sports seems to have a character of its own, and it arguably is the best beard in the industry. © Viral Bhayani His latest appearance at the airport was a testament to the fact that if you can manage to grow a massive beard, you really don't need much else to make a statement. © Viral Bhayani His khaki-olive shirt with a white T-shirt underneath, paired with a pair of blue jeans is what you call the standard, comfortable, super functional and smartly layered guy next door ensemble, but he managed to make it look super edgy, thanks to that beard. © Viral Bhayani The fact that he has chosen not to get his hair highlighted or tinted, and kept it jet black, just like the beard underneath, is helping him frame his face in a way that's worth envy. Just look at that density and volume! © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani All we can say is, Rana definitely qualifies to be our 'beardspiration' for the month, and for good reason!
  14. As one of the youngest religions in the world, Sikhism glorifies the practice of growing one's hair out. More so, for spiritual and religious purposes, but it's said, that by avoiding a trim/cut, Sikhs honour their almighty as well. Besides, it's a symbol of freedom and equality. But while their tresses are most often covered with turbans, their beards do see the light of the day. They are subjected to every day climatic changes, the pollution, dust and external elements, that affect their over-all hygiene and health. Since the beard is almost like a uniform for the Sikhs, it's unfair to not pay heed towards maintaining it. Long story short: we're here with a decisive routine for Sikh men, to keep their glory-beards in top form. © Instagram/houseofwaris 1. For basics, invest in the right edibles You are what you eat, so the most fundamental trick to a healthy and lustrous beard is to maintain a diet that's rich in nutrients. Indulge in healthy fats like avocados, omega-3s, nuts, eggs, vegetables (of course) and ample amount of protein (helps in hair growth). In addition, ensure that your intake of biotin is adequate as well. Don't forget to add antioxidants and vitamins as it helps to build up collagen which promotes hair growth. The best way is to have a balance diet to get the micronutrients into your system.. © Getty Images 2. Ever heard of a Beard Wash? As the owner of an unshorn beard, you need to use a beard wash for sure; to help you cleanse and soften it. Beard wash contains organic and skin friendly ingredients. The best beard wash is one that doesn't contain sulphates and parabens. HOW TO APPLY: Wet your beard with lukewarm water and apply beard wash directly at the roots and massage it gently on your beard and the skin underneath so that it exfoliates and cleanses it. Never forget to wash your beard with beard wash everyday if you use hair styling products, otherwise just wash it with lukewarm water and oil it once/twice a week. P.S. Never ever use a head shampoo on your beard, as the skin on your face is different than that of the scalp. Choose a milder shampoo (beard wash) for your beard. © Getty Images 3. Use a beard oil to keep your beard healthy In order to add a feather to a Sikh Man's turban, the primary tip is to always oil your hair for a lustrous and crisp look of the beard. The best oil is one that is composed of essential oils that condition and moisturize your hair follicles and the skin beneath it to give a calming and soothing effect. It helps to keep everything in place. 4. Use a conditioner Hair conditioner is a hair care product used to improve the feel, appearance and manageability of hair. Its main purpose is to reduce friction between strands of hair to allow easier brushing or combing, which might otherwise cause damage. Using a conditioner is totally up to one's preference as it depends on the type of hair one has. If you think your beard's frizzy or rough, we recommend you to use a conditioner. © Getty Images Steps you need to follow to groom your beard post showering, conditioning and moisturizing: 1. Hold your horses and let your beard dry until it's semi-dry. Never use styling products on a wet beard as you will end up using a lot of it. 2. Always tie your beard as it gives a cleaner and presentable look. Since Sikhs can't trim or shape their beard, it's better to set it using a beard wax/taft hair spray. 3. Don't use excessive hair styling products on your beard as it damages the skin underneath and spoils the hair strength and cements your hair to your face which looks extremely ugly. © Getty Images 4. Try to straighten your beard with a comb instead of brush as it gives a cleaner look and also prevents damage to your fragile hair on your face. Always comb in the direction of the grain of your beard. © Getty Images 5. Use a fairly loose rubber band to tie your beard, as a tighter rubber band would cause hair loss and irritation. If you have a fairly long beard, you can use a small bobby pin to keep your beard in place. 6. Finally, blow dry your beard so that it can stay in place throughout the day and makes you look dapper. © Getty Images And voila, you're all set!
  15. Suniel Shetty perhaps has the best 'redemption story' in Bollywood, when it comes to fashion and grooming. From being the ever-scruffy and sweaty distressed hero with anger issues wearing torn and tattered clothes to the suave, sophisticated aesthetic he now proudly flaunts, his has been a journey worth noticing. Of the many, many things that contributed to his swanky new avatar now, his beard probably is the most important entity. His thick, shapely salt-n-pepper face mane is as alluring as it is intimidating, and it just works for his classy-dad aesthetic in a way that's extremely impressive. Here are 10 pictures which prove that Suniel Shetty has the best beard in Bollywood right now. 1. 'Yoga se hi hoga' but that beard tho! 16. There will come a point in your life when you will start spotting white strands of hair in your beard. For some people, it will be sooner rather than later. Whenever that starts to happen, you have two options before you: you can either resort to hiding these strands with temporary methods to make your mane and beard seem a perfect black, or embrace nature's calling and wear salt and pepper on your sleeve with pride. Either of the two options are great. But hey, if the damage is far worse and temporary dyes are not helping hide the damage, here is some inspiration that proves that these beards are definitely hot! 1. 17. A good beard is an asset, and every man wants one (well, almost). But the trouble is, it's not something you can buy. You have to grow it and the situation isn't exactly even like growing muscles, which you can manage by working out and following a proper diet. Growing a beard can be a challenge if you're not gifted, and most people try to avoid being hit by this truth-bomb. Plus, some personal habits coupled with an intense disregard for patience result in super slow beard growth for some unfortunate souls. Keeping that in mind, we have compiled a list of 7 things one should strictly avoid doing while growing a beard: 1. Excessive Trimming © Birchbox There is a beard myth that says the more you cut/trim your beard, the faster it grows. Please don't pay heed to such myths. If you don't let your beard grow out physically, it just won't. It's that simple. 2. Using Hair Shampoo On The Beard © Beard Style The composition of hair shampoo is not suitable for your beard. It will strip your beard of its natural oils, and give rise to dry, scraggly strands of hair, which will definitely hamper healthy growth. 3. Not Washing It Altogether Or Washing It Too Often © Scotchporter The beard is a tricky territory, because it's a patch of hair that's located on your face. Your face needs to be kept clean (duh!) but it must be done without causing damage to your beard. How do you do it? By coming up with a beard cleaning cycle and sticking to it. Use a good beard wash/beard shampoo to wash your beard instead of soaps/hair shampoos, but don't do it too often. Depending on the growth and density, washing your beard every alternate day or once in three days should be fine (provided you don't let food get stuck in it or roll around in the mud, face-first.) 4. Ignoring The Existence Of Beard Oils/Softeners © Fatherly As Indian men, more often than not, we attach minimal importance to grooming. Please don't let your beard suffer because of that. Use beard oils and softeners to facilitate a healthy growth. They do work, if you use them religiously. 5. Not Brushing Your Beard © Balding Beards Brushing your beard, irrespective of its size will make it grow with a proper shape. Plus, brushing improves blood circulation at the beard base, thereby resulting in much faster growth.
  18. When it comes to an impeccable beard game, one man who can give everyone a run for their money is Rana Daggubati. He probably is the only 'villain' who has legit impressed more people than the hero in his respective movies. One of the things that make him an incredibly intimidating, yet handsome man, is his beard game. © Instagram/Ranadaggubati © Viral Bhayani Every man, at some point or the other, has wanted to grow a beard like him. Now, growing a beard is not easy, unless you're blessed. However, there are ways in which those who struggle with beard growth can achieve a glorious beard. Here are 3 things you can do daily to get a big, thick, dense beard like Rana Daggubati. 1. Use a beard oil and comb it out © Beardoholic Dryness can hamper your beard growth, and also cause problems like itchiness and beard dandruff. A well-moisturized environment will help your beard grow fast. Also, don't wash your beard too frequently, as that will dry it up. Every time you take a shower and wash your beard, make sure to apply some beard oil after towel drying, and comb it out. Doing it regularly will make sure that your beard grows in shape and appears fuller, as opposed to being unruly and scraggly. Trim your beard to maintain the shape, but try to leave it alone as much as possible. 2. Eat protein for breakfast © Onepixel What you eat plays a major role in deciding how fast your beard grows. Protein intake is a must when it comes to hair and beard growth. In fact, hair is made up of a protein called Keratin. If you want to max out your beard growth, make sure you have a high protein diet. Along with that, foods rich in Vitamins A, B, C, E, and F, and minerals are also a must. Grooming products won't help if you have a bad diet. Also, having a protein rich breakfast is good for muscle gain, and overall well-being. (Eggs for breakfast FTW!) 3. Exercise and get enough sleep © Instagram/Ranadaggubati Now, if you're thinking 'What does that have to do with beard growth?', hear us out. Applying stuff on the outside will not stimulate beard growth. Beard (and hair growth) in general as a process has got more to do with your lifestyle than what products you apply. Beard grows faster when you're relaxed and stress-free. Sleep is essential for that. Exercise boosts testosterone production, which is an essential element in terms of beard growth. Plus, when your body is in good shape and well-rested, you will be able to see substantial improvement in your beard growth, thickness, and well as density, Start doing them, and up the ante for your beard game!
  19. You have two distinct personalities, one with the beard and one without. If you're someone who hasn't discovered the 'with beard' personality yet, it's probably because all you can manage to grow is a patchy stubble, read along! It's not possible to not grow a beard However, we agree, not everyone is born with the good beard gene and some men might need to give more intensive care to their beards than others. So, in terms of the care required, firstly you need to believe in yourself that you have it in you to grow a glorious beard. Now, you need to take care of these things: 1. Watching Your Diet Watching what you eat is the primary step in making your glorious beard transformation. You need to take vitamin A as it stimulates the growth of hair growth. We're talking eggs, meat, cheese, carrots, pumpkin, broccoli, and dark green leafy vegetables. Foods rich in vitamin E include oils, leafy vegetables, nuts, and beans, and most people get plenty of vitamin E when eating a normal diet are also super essential. Vitamins B3 and B5 are equally essential. © healthyfoodsflatlay 2. Practice Tedious Skin Care For a healthy facial hair growth, you need to: exfoliate twice a week with a good scrub, use hair healthy grooming products that promote growth like beard shampoos, oils, lotions, vitamin B rich serums. Make sure you formulate a daily skin care routine and follow it through. A regular routine will encourage growth. © knight on still life 3. Reduce Stress & Exercise More A lot of times, hair growth is hindered because you're not taking care of routine things which you might find trivial. Not logging in enough hours of sleep, taking a lot of stress, not exercising. These things can prove to be brutal for hair growth. You need regular exercise, a positive environment to be able to promote hair growth. It might sound bizarre but it is true. © EVOX TELEVISION For temporary hacks, you could always use products that give the illusion of a facial hair to fill in the patches. And if these things don't seem to work for you, you might want to meet your doctor and consider other treatments like testosterone therapy in case you have low levels of testosterone. This can easily be tackled with oral pills, injections and patches but that is you'll need a diagnosis of its deficiency. In most cases, however, taking care of the basics is all one needs to grow a beard. It's like a personal project that you take on for yourself.

  21. The year is almost over, and that means preps for the big fat NYE party is on. It's too late to start working out, eating right, or grow your hair, when it comes to looking like a million bucks, but one thing that you can definitely do is get a good makeover at the salon. Getting your beard game on point can make you look like a different person altogether, and it only makes sense to start the year on a 'good-looking note' - if such a thing exists. After doing a little bit of research, we found out that every man wants his jawline to look sharp, because that makes your face look sexier. Keeping that in mind, we listed out 5 beard styles that will make that happen, irrespective of whether or not you have a sharp jawline, to begin with: 1. A fade will make sure that your face looks slimmer from the side, which goes a long way in ensuring that your jawline looks sharper. Notice how Virat has two layers on his beard - a light layer on the sides, right under the cheekbones, and a slightly bigger length on the chin and the upper lip area, which gives it the aesthetic of a layered French beard. Make sure you shape your beard neatly, in a way that gives your face a longish shape. (c) Instagram/viratkohli 2. If your beard is not dense and thick, you can go with a style that's neatly shaped from the top and has a natural finish. Just make sure you shave the extra hair under your chin, on your neck. This will make sure your jawline gets a bit of extra definition. (c) Instagram/shahidkapoor 3. If you want to utilise your stubble in a way that gives your cheeks and jawline the desired sharpness, shave the upper part of your beard on the cheeks, and give it a shape that makes your face look narrow. Make sure your cheekbones pop. Your jaw will automatically look sharp because of the neatness. (c) Instagram/kartikaaryan 4. In case you have a naturally dense beard, consider it a blessing and use it to your advantage. Keep the beard area thick and rather sizeable, while neatly shaving off any extra hair around. Remember, the sharpness will only come through when your barber is absolutely meticulous with his razor. (c) Instagram/ishabhansali 5. If you're tired of your goody-two-shoes, the guy-next-door image, go the DJ Sands way. Create some funky designs with your fade, and keep the stubble in the jawline area well shaped. Risky move? Yes. But if it pays off, you've just struck gold! (c) Instagram/vickykaushal09
  22. November is almost over and all our Insta feeds are well fed with beard selfies. Now, why won't you show off when you have that statement beard? They say 'have it, flaunt it!' for a reason, and we completely stand by it. It takes a lot of effort to grow a beard, and having a conspicuously big one is nothing short of a project. 23. Shahid Kapoor doesn't care what people think. Why do we think so? He just went ahead and - wait for it - shaved his beard off. The same beard he has been keeping for years, the one that saw him through some of the biggest hits of his career. Now one might think it's just a shave, and what's the big deal? Let us answer that question in three points. Here are three reasons why we think Shahid Kapoor going for a clean shave abruptly is the gutsiest grooming move of 2018. 1. It takes guts to shave your beard off in the month of November. When the entire world is obsessed with feeding their insta feeds with #NoShaveNovember and #Movember, for a mainstream Bollywood actor to go ahead and pull the ultimate stunt is nothing short of gutsy. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Shahid Kapoor (@shahidkapoor) on Nov 26, 2018 at 6:21pm PST 2. Shahid has done it for a role (in case you hadn't guessed it already). He is playing the lead in 'Kabir Singh', the Hindi remake of superhit Telugu movie 'Arjun Reddy'. Such transformations yield really good results, we must say. Remember Aamir Khan's cult hairstyle for 'Ghajini'? © Viral Bhayani 3. Shahid seems to have shaved 10 years off his age along with the beard. Usually, getting rid of one's beard can be an extremely risky move, but Shahid clearly knows what he's doing - a least as far as his latest pictures without the beard goes. He looks just like he did when he started off his career in Bollywood. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Shahid Kapoor (@shahidkapoor) on Nov 25, 2018 at 8:00am PST View this post on Instagram A post shared by Shahid Kapoor (@shahidkapoor) on Nov 24, 2018 at 8:28am PST This man right here has two children. 24. November is here, and so is Movember. This month is going to be all about facial hair, and for a noble cause. Those who anyway like keeping a beard, perhaps this month doesn't make all that difference, but for those who prefer a clean shaven look but would want to try growing their facial hair out - but feeling hesitant about it, we have some kickass inspiration. Here are 7 Indian models whose facial hair game will surely inspire you to go ahead and grow that beard. 1. Dushyant Singh Raghuvanshi © Instagram/Dushyant Singh Raghuvanshi If you are a fan of the quintessential edgy, structured beard, Dushyant's beard is pretty much the benchmark. 2. Nitin Chauhan © Instagram/Nitin Chauhan Nitin has the long, princely beard that reminds us of the royalty. Go ahead, it's perfect for Diwali. (Though you'll probably get that length by about Holi.) 3. Umesh Gulia © MensXP If you want a beard that's intimidating yet classy, Umesh's beard should be your inspiration. 4. Rouhallah Gazi © Instagram/Rouhallah Gazi A full, thick, healthy beard should be on every man's 'must-grow' list. Just like this beard here. 5. Prateek Jain © Instagram/Prateek Jain Sometimes, a badass beard can make you look otherworldly, almost mystical. Exhibit A. 6. Saud Hasan Khan © Instagram/Saud Hasan Khan If you want to get the entire limelight focused on your beard, sport it with a fade, just like Saud. 7. Prathamesh Maulingkar © Instagram/Prathamesh Maulingkar You don't necessarily need a long beard for it to be called an amazing beard. Prathamesh's beard is the perfect example.
  25. Winter is about to set in, and as pleasant and romantic as it may seem from a distance (or the idea of it, shall we say), the reality is rather harsh, just like the cold winds it brings along. The cold weather can be extremely tricky, especially when it comes to skincare and haircare. But the most challenging thing, we think, is beard care, as it's neither here nor there. Your beard is prone to damage during extreme weather conditions, and it can get even trickier in India, thanks to the huge difference in summer and winter temperatures. But, it can be dealt with quite easily, if you follow a simple routine daily, consisting of 4 easy steps. 1. The first step is extremely easy, as it requires you to do nothing. By that, we mean to refrain from washing your beard frequently. Every time you wash your beard, it is stripped of the natural oils, and that can wreak havoc when it comes to your beard's health. Wash it every 2 or 3 days with a beard shampoo. © Zeusbeard 2. Using a beard oil is a must. The weather will dry your beard out, and there is no way the moisture will be back naturally, because of low humidity. So, you need to make sure your beard gets proper nourishment through a good beard oil. © Baldingbeards 3. Use a beard/moustache wax while stepping out. The wax, apart from styling your beard, will create a film on your beard that will protect it from the harshness of the elements outside. Plus, it's easier to sip liquids when there are no stray hairs going in them! © Baldingbeards 4. Drink plenty of water. Dehydration can have an extreme impact on your beard, and it can be visible in the form of a scraggly and lifeless beard. Plus, because of excessive coffee consumption during winter, our body becomes even more dehydrated. Keep drinking water not just for a thick, healthy beard, but also for your general well-being during the winter months. © 123rf Do them and see the difference!
