  1. The world seems to be going into a bleaker space by the day because of the manner in which we are scrambling to deal with the novel coronavirus. Naturally then, whenever there is any news about people stepping up to overcome this travesty or any news where against all odds, humans are coming out on top, it is actually a feel-good sort of a story. People take pride in humanity and humans being the victors. © Reuters The State of Arunachal Pradesh has become one such reason. Ever since COVID-19 started rearing its ugly head in India, it has been a frenzy. Almost every day, we get to hear that some thousand new cases have been discovered, or people have died in dozens. However, the manner in which Arunachal Pradesh has handled the situation should be an example of how things are supposed to be done. © PTI For those of us who are unaware of the status of Coronavirus in the state, Arunachal Pradesh had just one confirmed case of the contagion and that too was the case of a man who contracted the virus when he was in Delhi. That man, identified by local authorities as a 31-year old man, in the Lohit district, was released earlier on the 17th of April. According to a report filed by a major television news channel, in which they spoke to the local authorities of the state, there were 2 main reasons they were able to keep the state free of the contagion. Firstly, of course, it was the dedication of the medical professionals who took the case extremely cautiously and dedicatedly. The second reason, they say, are the practices that the local tribal people have been following for centuries. © PTI The authorities said that way before the contagion actually started to spread voraciously, the indigenous tribes of the area, started practising their versions of self quarantining and social distancing. © ANI The three major tribes of the state, the Galos, the Adis, & the Nyishis performed ceremonies, when the leaders of these tribes, performed certain ritualistic ceremonies and prayers and sealed their districts and villages, off. The rituals have differing names - the Galos, for instance, call it Arr-Rinam or Ali-Ternam, whereas the Adis call it Motor. The Nyishis call their practice, Arrure. All these three ceremonies have a few things in common. They will entail a ritualistic sacrifice of small amounts of edible grains, some vegetables, and an egg, and a small bird, normally a fowl, which will be offered to the local gods. The priest of the village or the community will chant prayers, and ask the gods to ward off the evil spirit that is causing these troubles. © EastMojo This is also followed by the blocking of all entrances and exits of the district using trees trunks and bamboos, which are then consecrated using ashes and holy water from the sacrifice. Although the belief is that these blocked gates stop the evil spirit to enter the district, this is actually a very effective way of stopping movement across towns and districts. © PTI As for stopping all movement within a particular district, the priest will then chant a prayer, which ties the people in the community to a vow, of not stepping out of their homes unless it is absolutely necessary. And because there is a serious religious and more importantly, traditional aspect tied to the custom, the people in these districts are actually taking this self-imposed quarantine, very seriously. As per the latest figures that the district authorities have shared, about 12,000 people are in this self-imposed quarantine, of whom, about 10,000 have completed the 14-day quarantine that has been the norm. And it is not like the authorities arenât testing at all; of the roughly 450 tests that have been conducted in the area, 34 are awaiting results, whereas the others have proven to be negative. © Reuters This has actually been a long practice among tribal communities all over the world, whenever there has been an outbreak of a disease of this magnitude. The last time the Galos, for instance, had implemented the Arr-Rinam was 40 years ago when a waterborne disease caused havoc in the area. This just goes on to show that in areas where modern medicine hasnât been able to penetrate properly, people rely heavily on indigenous practices, and that too for a good reason. These practices seem to work for the indigenous of Arunachal Pradesh, rather well. View the full article
  2. Owing to the Coronavirus outbreak, we are restricted to staying at homes as PM Narendra Modi has imposed a lockdown. 3. Amitabh Bachchan has always been active on social media and interestingly, he is now also interacting with his fans. Well, owing to the lockdown, celebs do have the time to chill and interact with the fans more often than they used to, thanks to their hectic schedules. So, one of the fans asked him âSir aap kabhi desh ka pm banna chate te?" To which Big B had a funny response as he replied, "arre yaar subah subah shubh shubh bolo" along with a laughing emoji. But, I am wondering how things would be if Big B ever becomes a Prime Minister. © Amitabh Bachchan After his response, many of his Instagram followers went on to comment that they will support him if he ever becomes the Prime Minister and also added that he is the only one who can replace PM Narendra Modi. © Amitabh Bachchan © Amitabh Bachchan Big B has won hearts after he made people nostalgic by sharing a throwback picture from the premiere of his film Sholay. 6. Ever since Pornhub has offered their âpremiumâ services for free to everyone, the website has seen a sudden spike in traffic from all over the world. Since people are forced to stay at home in order to self-isolate due to the outbreak of COVID-19 virus, visits to the website had increased. However, whatâs more shocking is that the website was being visited at different times of the day. Previously, Pornhub would see a surge in traffic during the late hours of the night. However, now that everyone is quarantined, the website is getting visitors during all hours of the day. © Pornub âTraffic had increased by 13.7% on March 20th, but a massive increase of 18.5% occurred on March 24th when it was announced that Pornhubâs Premium service would be free to all visitors worldwide for one month to encourage people to stay at home and help flatten the curve of new COVID-19 cases,â Pornhub said in a blog post. © Pornub In Indiaâs context, traffic on Pornhub largely remained below 1% until March 5. However, ever since the country has gone on a pan-India lockdown, the website has seen a sudden surge in the traffic. Whatâs interesting is that the adult website saw a spike in traffic the moment Pornhubâs premium service was made free for everyone. From India, there was an increase of 23% in traffic recently, probably because of the free premium services. © Pornub India is not the only country where Pornhub has gained more traffic. The highest traffic jump in countries without the free membership offer came from Hong Kong, which reached 42.5% ever since premium services went free. © Kyivpost The porn site is currently offering premium services for free without the need of adding any banking or credit card details. These services will last for 30 days and if you wish to subscribe to the service, it costs $9.99 per month. Besides, Pornhub is also giving out 100% payout to content creators during the month of April. The adult website started to offer free memberships to encourage people to stay indoors and even changed their logo to âStay home Hubâ to get the message across. View the full article

  8. Vijay Varma aka Moeen from Gully Boy had no idea if he will make it or not in Bollywood, as he had no resources or means to help him kickstart his career in a cruel industry, where almost 100 newcomers come every day to try their luck. Until 13 months ago, not many people had heard of Vijay Varma, even though he had done several projects like Chittagong, Pink and Monsoon Shootout. It was Gully Boy that gave him a platform when people finally started noticing his work. View this post on Instagram#1yearofgullyboy also.. #happyvalentinesday ðA post shared by (@itsvijayvarma) You might have seen him even more recently in Baaghi 3. Well, it was no easy task for him to reach here as he had to struggle for a good 8 years to finally get noticed, and in the process, he even had to disconnect from his family and run away from home to make his dreams come true. View this post on InstagramAkhtar Lahori ðª #baaghi3 ð¸ @ruchitrajguruA post shared by (@itsvijayvarma) When Vijay started out, he didnât have high hopes or even any ambition, as he didnât have basic knowledge about how the industry truly works. MensXP got the opportunity to get in touch with Vijay and find out more about his inspiring journey and also talk about how difficult it was for him to make a mark for himself in Bollywood. I called him up and congratulated him on the success of both Gully Boy and Baaghi 3 and proceeded to ask him about how it all began for him. View this post on Instagram@sancha_sancha @devs213 @coachmarinaaa @versatile_makeoversartist @nm_design_studioA post shared by (@itsvijayvarma) âIt started in Hyderabad when I was studying there. I am born and bought up there and I have always wanted to pursue acting. It's just that I didn't have any resources or means to get into this field and to fill in the void, I tried several other jobs. But, I wasn't happy and I never wanted to join my father in the family business. I always wanted to be an actor and I actually never had the balls to accept it earlier to myself even, forget about confronting others,â he said. âEventually, I had to face the truth and I joined theatre school. I ran away from home and borrowed money from my friends. And that was the time, the real training started. Earlier, it was just about running from home and trying to pursue what I have been wanting but I never had high ambitions. I soon realized that I belong here. I was not one of the best students in the film school as I had no idea about films per se because I grew up in a household where people didn't watch many movies,â Vijay added. View this post on InstagramMajor posing for my new friend. Posing kaise karna hai yahaan seekhein. Art by random photographer on Juhu beach.A post shared by (@itsvijayvarma) With Vijay, the bigger issue was that he wasnât much informed about the industry until he started studying at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and for that, he had to run away from his home, as he mentioned earlier. It was FTII that opened the doors for him into the world of Bollywood and he finally got his first short movie and also faced his very first rejection. âI was really not informed about cinema but the discovery started when I was in FTII. So, Shor (the short movie) happened when Raj and DK had come to the institution and they somehow liked me for the role and with this, I got my first short movie. It was a pitch film that they wanted to show it to the producers for making a feature film. Well, I was kicked out of the feature film and it was my confrontation with rejection,â said the actor. © IMDB It was after this rejection, that the actor did stage for two years and wanted someone to notice him and his craft. âThen, I started to do whatever came my way. It was difficult to find work and I did stage for two years. I didn't want to go to auditions every day, get rejected and end up feeling miserable about myself. So, I rather chose the stage, hoping someday I will be noticed by important people but that also didn't happen (laughs). After that, some roles started to come my way and that's how I became a part of Chittagong and then, Monsoon Shootout. I started to audition and then Gully Boy came my way,â said the actor. Before any of this happened, it was a long journey that he had to take on his own, as even his parents didnât support him. Earlier, in an interview he had given during the promotions of Gully Boy, he had revealed that he had actual physical confrontations with his father, who did not approve of his career. Vijay firmly agreed with me when I brought up that generally, most Indian parents are of the belief that if their sons or daughters join a creative field, especially acting, âtoh paise kaise kamaenge?' or 'ghar kaise chalegaâ? © Excel Entertainment âYeah, I completely agree with you. My parents, when they used to read newspapers, used to find names like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan as they were the newsmakers. Your parents will never correlate those names with your children because they are too big. They didn't know that actors can survive without becoming a Shah Rukh Khan and I also realized that I can't give them that education,â he said. For Vijay, it was harder as he had to completely detach himself from his family because he had no idea if he would be able to make it or even start his career in this field for that matter. âIt was a difficult space and extremely problematic. There were times I used to avoid going even being physically ill, because I had no answer to their questions and I didn't want to see rejections in their eyes. I didn't even know if I would be able to make it. It was pretty dark and only work could fill the void. It went on about for about 7 to 8 years and I had to detach myself from my family. I can't be looking all miserable and you had to keep your sh*t together because you can't be using a bad day as an excuse. I actually learnt it and this kind of education wasn't given in film schools. The whole idea is to keep your mind sane when things are going awry,â said Vijay. View this post on InstagramMajor posing for my new friend. Posing kaise karna hai yahaan seekhein. Art by random photographer on Juhu beach.A post shared by (@itsvijayvarma) I then proceeded to ask him, very bluntly, as to how did he survive in an expensive city like Mumbai after completely cutting himself off from his family. On this, he said very frankly, âWell, for the first two or three years, my father gave me like a monthly thing, but I stopped taking it as I didn't want to be in a comfortable spot. After I stopped taking money, I actually realized what poverty is and then, I started to work and things came my way, Back then, even going to the theatre for watching a movie was a treat but I am glad that things are settled now.â View this post on InstagramHappy #worldtheatreday This is where it all started and this is where I found myself. Forever indebted to the stage. And to all my teachers. Will add details about the plays and anecdotes when I get time. Hyderabad-Pune-MumbaiA post shared by (@itsvijayvarma) Now that Vijay has finally made it, I was curious to know if his father is happy now to see him flourishing or is he still struggling to accept his son's decisions. âI am sure he is happy. There came a point that I stopped bothering myself about what he used to say about my career as their opinions had a direct impact on me. My dignity lies in my work and I am honest with my craft. I also know that when they see my work, they can see the efforts that I put in, even if it's a minor role. Apart from my father, I talk about my work with everyone in my family. My father made peace when he saw my picture with Amitabh Bachchan and then, he never bothered me as, somewhere, he knew that I am earning. It's a father's thing and at times, fathers can't put together their insecurities in front of their children,â Vijay asserted. After discussing his struggles, I panned our conversation towards about how actors are still given the tags of the lead actor or supporting actor. On this, he said, âThese tags have been existing from the time movies started. I don't see them going away in the ideal world. I don't mind the tag of a supporting actor. You know whenever someone acts well, directors say that 'yeh toh actor hai' and vice versa. It actually shows the mindset of such people. I am fine with these tags and I am at a place where I can choose what to do. In the future, you might see me playing a negative or a comic role, so keep the tags open in that case. I will keep surprising you.â View this post on InstagramBoys from the Naka. I just wanted to act in a movie and post that, things kept happening. I am happy that I came in touch with Zoya Akhtar and people know me now. Personally, I feel I have achieved milestones. From walking the red carpet at the Cannes to playing Ankit in Pink to Gully Boy, I believe everything just came to me at the right time. Having said that, it was Gully Boy that changed the trajectory and I loved my part,â Varma said. To end the interview on a lighter note, I wondered aloud that almost all the characters that he has played so far give âbhaiâ vibes and I wanted to know if he ever wants to play a romantic hero. âI would love to play a romantic hero but I don't get offered such roles very often. The ones that were offered didn't work out and sometimes, those characters weren't layered. I feel like the roles related to romantic heroes, for me, should more than just being a chocolate guy,â the actor said and signed off. Well, I really hope that Vijay keeps entertaining his fans and yes, in the future, also surprise them with a wide array of characters. View the full article
  9. "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." This is one hell of a line but I never thought that it would come true in real life, especially with Christian Bale. One of the best Batmans we've ever seen has officially gone over to the dark side and is now going to play a villain. Yes, this was rumoured for months, but now Tessa Thompson has confirmed it - Christian Bale is playing the villain in Thor: Love and Thunder! In an interview with ET, she said, "Christian Bale is going to play our villain, which is going to be fantastic." Taika Waititi has literally assembled an Avengers level star-cast - Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, and now Christian Bale, and even though he's dead, a Thor movie is incomplete without Loki. I'm pretty sure even he's going to show up. Who knows which other actor and character is going to be in the movie, but at this point, the next Thor movie is turning out to be the most exciting film in this new phase of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since the movie is going to be released in November next year, unfortunately, there's not much else we know about it. But honestly, I can totally see Christian Bale pulling off a sinister villain fighting female Thor and The Mighty Thor himself. 10. Arguably one of the most popular sports in the world, cricket has continued to enthral fans and produce new sporting heroes over the years. As a kid, many of us have grown up imitating the batting stances and bowling actions of our favourite cricketers in our backyard. From Brian Lara's unique stance to Wasim Akram's bowling stride, youngsters have proudly copied the tools of the trade of the cricketing icons. A similar case recently came to the fore where a youngster in Auckland was seen impersonating the bowling action of none other than Indian seamer Jasprit Bumrah. One of the best death-over bowlers in international cricket at the moment, Bumrah's anomalous, sling-arm action backed with natural pace and peculiar release point has not only got the opposition batsmen scratching their heads, but it remains one of the most unique bowling actions the sport has ever seen. Thus, it takes quite a doing if one was to imitate Bumrah's bowling action. But, for a young kid, it was a walk in the park. How good is this kids impersonation of @Jaspritbumrah93 in Auckland. @BCCI @BLACKCAPS #woweee pic.twitter.com/0XDtSEqWaW â Ollie Pringle (@OlliePringle63) February 7, 2020 Former New Zealand coach Mike Hesson retweeted the video where the youngster was seen replicating Bumrah's bowling action down to the core. The video was initially shared by Ollie Pringle, a cricket coach in New Zealand, on Twitter. "How good is this kidâs impersonation of @Jaspritbumrah93 in Auckland. @BCCI @BLACKCAPS #woweee," he wrote alongside the video. 11. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tackled the biggest elephant in the room just hours ago as she presented the Union Budget for 2020-21. The Budget becomes crucial because it gives us an estimate of the expected expenditure of the government for the given period of time. But really, for people like you and me who do not want to get into the nitty-gritty of the Annual Budget, our leading concerns lay in how the proposed Budget is going to impact our lives immediately. Which is to say, how we may be profiting or failing to benefit from the proposed financial projections - what becomes cheaper, what becomes costlier and what becomes of our personal savings to put things very simply. © Twitter So, without beating around the bush anymore, letâs directly get to what it is that you are really here for. First off, your cigarettes are going to get costlier and so are other tobacco-based products. Additionally, medical equipment will also become more expensive due to higher taxes on imports. © Pexels Imported footwear and furniture will also burn a hole in your pockets, so we suppose many of us will be cutting corners when it comes to setting up our houses. Even the kitchen may not look as dapper as youâd imagine because customs duty on porcelain, clay iron, steel and copper has been doubled. © Pexels However, there is some relief to be found in the fact that the withdrawal of customs duty on raw sugar, agro-animal based products, Tuna bait, skimmed milk, specific alcoholic beverages, soya fibre and soy protein will bring their prices down. In addition to all that, Finance Minister Sitharaman also announced the lower tax slabs under a new income tax regime which has been the biggest highlight of the session. Though we are still not sure where the economy is headed post today, hereâs hoping we can make the most of whatâs been served. View the full article
  12. Often labelled as one of the best batsmen in modern-day cricket, Virat Kohli clearly needs no introduction to the gentleman's game. His textbook strokes and ability to deliver consistent performances have not only aided Team India in dire situations but also saw him establishing himself as one of the greats at just the age of 31. The Delhi lad looked in ominous form last year, hammering the opposition to all parts of the ground during India's dominant home season. Carrying his fine form this year, his batting masterclass was key to India's success against Australia during their 2-1 win in the three-match ODI series. Even as India travelled to New Zealand for their next assignment, there seems to be no stopping to Kohli's artistry with the willow. His brilliant knock of 45 runs played a key role in India's six-wicket triumph in the first T20I at Eden Park. And, even as he missed out in the second match, Kohli continued his carnage in the third T20I. View the full article
  13. On most days Ranbir Kapoor spends his time wrapping up the much-awaited film of 2020, Brahmastra that he's shooting along with his co-star and rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Spotting him outside is a rarity since he has a rather busy shooting schedule. However, occasions like a scheduled football match are days when Ranbir makes it a point to free up some time from his tedious schedule to show up on the field and play the game. It is on these occasions that we catch hold of him. For the uninitiated, Ranbir loves to play football and going by how often he is spotted on the football field, he probably has a section in his closet set aside to store the precious football gear that he has collected over the years. He only gets to use this gear whenever he gets time to play football. However, this time around, more than playing, Ranbir was in the mood of goofing around. So, throughout the match, he was seen holding a banana in his hand. What's interesting is the fact that when he was asked to pose for the media later after the match got over, he used the banana as a prop moustache. Take a look here: © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani But if you look at his goofy pose, you can also see that he's wearing a regular tank top along with shorts and tights to go underneath. This look can easily come under regular football gear. © Viral Bhayani However, what piqued our interest was the pair of shoes that he was wearing. The pair was a regular football silhouette with orange and white colourways and a black Nike swoosh on either side of the shoe. © Viral Bhayani In case you're wondering, the pair is called Nike White & Orange JR Legend 7 Club FG Football Shoes. They come for the cost of Rs. 3,695 and are usually on sale. Ranbir's shoes, as it turns out, are surprisingly quite affordable. View the full article

I won't be surprised if you too started following this Japanese billionaire on Twitter, after he made that lucrative deal. Well, if you're following him then you will know about his latest tweet about him finding a life partner. In case you didn't know, then this news is for you. Maezawa's $9 million experiment was probably to see whether money can buy happiness or not. Looks like, his latest tweet is to see if "love you to the moon and back" is for real. How else do you justify his bizarre proposal? Reuters While most people are still waiting for their crush to reply to their DMs, or waiting to get swiped right, this Japanese billionaire is looking for a life partner who will join him in his journey to the moon and become what he calls the "first woman" to travel to the moon. 44-year-old Maezawa, who is the founder of Japan's largest online clothing brand Zozotown, took to Twitter and wrote, "[WANTED!!!] Why not be the 'first woman' to travel to the moon? #MZ_looking_for_love". 17. Fortnite is still the biggest game in the world and there's no denying that. While we really don't need any numbers to prove it, but there are solid figures that tell that the battle royale game made more money in digital sales than any other video game in 2019. That's right! Fortnite was once again the top-grossing online video game of the year. It's not really a surprise since it topped the list last year as well, and we hardly saw any other game running to snatch that title this year. © Reuters According to the data revealed in a report, Fortnite managed to bring in a staggering $1.8 billion in revenue in 2019. That's a lot of money for a game that's technically free-to-play. Even the premium titles fail to scoop that much. That being said, it's worth pointing out that the overall sales figure is down a quarter from 2018. In 2018, Fortnite earned a record-setting $2.4 billion, a number that's still hard to fathom for an online free-to-play multiplayer game. If anything, then it should tell you that Fortnite's popularity is setting in. Fornite has become a household name now, and there's hardly anybody out there on the internet who's not familiar with Fortnite. © Epic Games Part of the reason why people spend money on Fortnite is because of the content. The folks over at Epic Games managed to strike some of the best partnerships. The company teamed up with the likes of musician Marshmello, Marvel's Avengers, Nike for Air Jordan, and ended the year strong with Star Wars content. It's things like this that make people want to hand out money and buy new items. The more items you have on the store, the more battle passes and cosmetic items you're going to be selling. It's as simple as that. With its numbers, Fortnite also managed to beat out titles like FIFA 19, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare, Candy Crush, Pokémon Go, and more. Fornite managed to dwarf even the world's largest PC game, League Of Legends, which brought in $1.5 billion last year. Source: Superdata View the full article

Mayank has created history by becoming the youngest ever to top the Rajasthan Judicial Services (RJS) examination. As per the news reports, he has obtained 169 marks out of 300 in the Mains exam and scored 28 out of 35 in the interview round to become the State topper this year. The states such as Delhi, Haryana, and Gujarat already have 21 year olds appearing for the judicial services exams but none in this age bracket have been able to make it through so far. Rajasthan has only recently lowered the age limit to 21 from 23 years for the RJS exam. In an interview with Indian Express, Mayank said, “My exams had gone well and I was expecting to get through but I had never thought that I would get the top rank. I am the first one in my family to pursue law as a profession. It was tough to manage the preparation for the exam as well as finish my graduation along with it.” © BCCL He completed his LLB from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. “It is the combination of both hard work and smart work that helped me crack the exams. I used to wake up early in the morning and studied for a couple of hours before the day started. Since I did not opt for any coaching classes and it was nearly a year-long process (including prelims, mains followed by interview), it was difficult to stay motivated throughout. Thus, I prepared a schedule and stuck to it,” he added. “Since I had PCM in class 11 and 12, many people asked me to give it a shot at JEE but I was inspired to pursue law in my higher studies. My parents were very supportive and supported me in my decision,” Mayank said. 20. We have come a long way since the time when the ancient ways of the world dictated our lives. While this 'way of life' was, obviously, laid out for women, men have also shouldered the burden of the unsaid expectations and taboos for a long time. However, now, as the world has learnt to respect the concept of 'live and let live', things are slowly beginning to change. © Red Chillies Entertainment With such a welcome change, men can now truly get over the insecurities that have weighed on their mind all this while. As the world and people around us change with time, they have proved that it's time men completed accepted themselves for who they are, and that would pretty much be the same as celebrating themselves and fellow-men every day! Here are 5 such insecurities among men that have become a thing of the past for good: 1. Balding © Maddock Films Most men wouldn't want to shave off their heads for no good reason, though personal and religious reasons cannot be discounted. Yet, somehow, natural causes related to sparse hair coverage brings in 'shame' as opposed to men choosing to shed their tresses. However, people have now begun to look beyond bald patches and receding hairline. The success of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bala and the popularity enjoyed by the likes of Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel only reiterates the fact that people have come a long way since the time when lack of hair on one's head would turn most men into a laughing stock. 2. Height © HBO And again, since we are leading with examples, in any case, it's about time we acknowledge that height-related insecurities can happily take a backseat now. The world has finally come to measure people's worth based on their skills and talent, and not how closer to the clouds they are. Before turning into the superstar that he is today, even SRK started out as a regular guy with an average height. It was his skills as an actor that eventually got him such immense success. Ayushmann Khurrana, for that matter too, does not come in the category of taller men in the industry, but his back-to-back hits are proof that your 'height' and your 'talent' have absolutely no connection whatsoever. 3. Weight © Twitter - Shannon Werle With “dad bod” really trending this year, it can be said that the fixtures around the idea of 'ideal male body' has gradually loosened enough to allow men to enjoy breathing space that lets them be and not chase after runway-inspired 'mod(el) bod'. Take Jason Mamoa, Chris Hemsworth and Leonardo di Caprio for instance. Wrinkles, grey hair or a couple of extra pounds doesn't make them any less desirable. 4. Di*k Size © Wikipedia Now, as debatable a topic as this might be, research has shown that the entire tussle related to 'size' mostly rests in a guy's head. Women are more taken by the appearance of the ***** than its size, because while the length of the ***** was rated sixth on the list of importance, women rated the girth third. 5. Skin Colour © Mensxp Now, we understand how obsessed the Indian society can be with skin colour, but let us assure you that your skin colour has got nothing on the kind of person you are and what your achievements are. Vicky Kaushal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are two of Bollywood's most popular actors currently, and their skin colour never got in the way of them facing the camera or making it big. 21. Ever since Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton shared his “worries” about how human beings were on the verge of extinction, a lot of criticism came towards the athlete's way because of the profession he is in. i am lewis hamilton, lewis hamilton is me pic.twitter.com/PTOqMM3aEu — ðððð (@lovelyleclerc) October 15, 2019 While Hamilton talked about how important it is to turn vegan and live a life with zero carbon footprint, his critics called him out for all the carbon dioxide that comes from the super-fast cars, that he and numerous others use throughout the year while racing around in circles to win some money and shiny silver trophies. A single formula 1 car emits 17 tons of carbon dioxide a year. So F1 is dull and bad for the planet too! — Jonathan Baldwin â (@jbaldwin) April 1, 2009 Well, Formula One as a whole has finally decided to listen to their environment-friendly fans and have officially announced a plan to go 100 percent carbon neutral by the year 2030. The sport is a lot more dangerous to our Ozone than we think. It is not just the cars that emit an enormous amount of CO2, but also some of the other aspects such as travelling and establishing brand-specific centers at the location of these races turn out to be equally damaging. Even before the F1 cars turn on their fuel guzzling engines, the teams spend over seven million gallons of jet fuel in one season which leads to carbon dioxide emission worth 147 million pounds! © Reuters Considering the fact that the league hopes to make all their carbon-reduction projects sustainable by 2025 and invent the first ever “net-zero carbon hybrid internal combustion engine” around the same time, it feels like a good step but have we run out of time to make such amendments? According to a NASA report, human beings have made such an adverse impact on the environment that global warming will continue at the rate of 6 °C (10.8 °F) on average for decades if not centuries even if we completely stop emitting greenhouse gases. So even if an organisation like Formula One, which is one of the major contributors of CO2 emissions, becomes successful in curbing the adversities following the tracks of their six-time world champion in Hamilton, how big of a difference would that make? Negligible at best? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. View the full article

  23. Switching careers is relatively a big step ahead in life. There are lots of choices and decisions that need to be executed before you delve into a completely different path and that's why people take their time with it. The reason people switch careers is because they want to actually do what they like or what they're really intended to, and we guess that's quite an admirable quality in someone. Just like Addie Andrews, who did the exact same thing and is super proud of her 'career' shift! © Instagram Addie, a Mormon missionary claimed she felt 'sexually repressed' by the church and left the institution to follow her own path and dreams. She's now a popular porn star and has no qualms about it! She's also been working quite hard as a porn star, because just recently she was named Penthouse magazine's 'Pet of the Month', despite her religious past. Which also means she's risen to the top in the porno world and is loving all that fame. View this post on Instagram â¤ï¸ ð¸ @tomasskoloudik #picoftheday #postoftheday #model #portrait #art #love #gorgeous #beautiful #love #artist #dancer #hustler #denim A post shared by Addie Andrews (@iamaddieandrews) on Sep 28, 2019 at 5:18pm PDT The 30 years old pornstar even went on to say that she sees similarities between her former job as a missionary and her current life as a porn star. Yes, you read that right! She believed both her roles, in the past and in the present have helped people physically. "I felt the most fulfilled when I was physically helping people," she told the New York Post in an interview. Growing up within the confines of religion, her family pushed her to do a lot of religious work when she was a kid. At 17, she joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After she joined the church, Addie wasn't allowed to indulge in pre-marital ***. In fact it was looked down upon and deemed as a very shameful thing to do. "The deeper I got into the religion, the farther from my own identity I got. I was very sexually repressed. You're essentially a nun, devoted to your religion for that period of time," Addie recalled, in her interview with the New York Post. © Instagram © Instagram © Instagram At 26, she had *** for the second time in her life. The first time was before she joined her practice. Her religion didn't allow her to express her sexuality in any way and it didn't allow her to watch any form of entertainment that was a bit too provocative in nature. Addie was living her life in a shell, wherein she wasn't really allowed to follow her passions or do what she pleased. It all became too real when she wasn't allowed to dress up as a bridesmaid at her own sister's wedding because her dress was considered to be a bit too 'immodest'. That's when Addie realised she needs to go back to following her own passions of singing, dancing and acting, she revealed in her interview. © Instagram © Instagram In 2017, Addie quit church and moved to California to follow her dreams. After several tries in the film industry, she couldn't get her big break, even with a suitable degree and went on to become an exotic dancer instead. Because she was an excellent dancer, a lot of porn movie agents garnered interest in her and asked her to join the industry and that was that for Addie. Today she is one of the most successful pornstars out there. © Instagram Her family took some time to get on board but eventually they got there. "I knew that they'd be a little shocked when I told them about my adult work. My brother said, 'I will definitely never watch your porn, but you seem happier than ever, so I support your decision," she added. © Instagram Even though she got accepted for her brand new life, they've personally chosen to not follow her career. However, we think it's a big bold step for Addie in terms of a career change. And for anyone like her, such boldness gives space to accept newer and more complex challenges, and ultimately you'd be doing what you truly love, just like Addie!
