  1. It's summer and Peter Parker has decided to go on vacation, telling us that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is definitely far from being over. The social media embargo on reviews of 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' has been lifted and the feedback is as bright as a positive ray of light. Disney is definitely confident about what about the film director, Jon Watts has made and the reactions talk about its humour, action and a few major twists. Although the movie is set to release on July 5, the press screenings have started and we can't wait to catch the new Spidey flick. © Sony Pictures Releasing Marvel and Disney have always made it a point to lift embargos on movies way before their release to get a positive word of mouth in advance and this time was no different. According to the trailer, this one has Peter Parker aka Spider-Man taking a vacation in Europe with his classmates. However, he runs into Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) or rather he's hunted down by Fury and the mysterious Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) aka Quentin Beck to help defeat some apolyptic 'Elemental' monster! © Sony Pictures Releasing Some are calling the film a perfect 'Avengers: Endgame' epilogue where the MCU goes on an emotionally fulfilling ride, while some say it's the best Spidey movie yet. Let's see what the critics have to say about 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' FAR FROM HOME has dethroned Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 & is now favorite Spider-Man film. What's insane is that I can't even tell u why I'm so in love with this film because it would be a spoiler. Gyllenhaal is incredible. Holland re-confirms as the best Spidey to date. Amazing. pic.twitter.com/pbynxYIEyQ — Kevin McCarthy (@KevinMcCarthyTV) 19 June 2019 I didn't expect to laugh so hard at a movie that deals with the emotional and global fallout of Avengers: Endgame. I really, really enjoyed #SpiderManFarFromeHome (liked it a smidge more than Homecoming), and thought it absolutely succeeded when it dealt with human-scale stories. pic.twitter.com/Cy985w2NeV — Terri Schwartz (@Terri_Schwartz) 19 June 2019 I had a big dumb smile on my face through all of #SpiderManFarFromHome. It makes for a lovely companion piece to Endgame, but it's also a top-notch Peter story. Oh, and Jake Gyllenhaal is clearly having the time of his LIFE. — Devan Coggan (@devancoggan) 19 June 2019 #SpiderManFarFromHome isn't quite as wonderful as Homecoming, but it's a really strong, endearing sequel that delivers some excellent moments in its second half in particular. It commendably furthers Peter's story while laying groundwork for what's next in a notably deft way. — Eric Goldman (@TheEricGoldman) 19 June 2019 I saw Spider-Man: Far From Home last night - it's pretty much the perfect Avengers: Endgame epilogue - reminding us that the MCU goes on in a joyous, emotionally fulfilling ride. #SpiderManFarFromHome — Sean Keane (@SpectacularSean) 19 June 2019 #SpiderMan #FarFromHome is an absolute home run. It's SO much fun. It's huge in itself and for the future of the MCU in the most surprising ways. Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, just a lethal, awesome combo!! I cannot wait to see this movie again. And again. pic.twitter.com/0hYJvKkdjN — Brandon Davis (@BrandonDavisBD) 19 June 2019 I can't stress this enough: stay all the way through the credits for #FarFromHome!!! There's a couple of brilliant sequences waiting for you! Dodge #SpiderMan spoilers as best you can!! pic.twitter.com/vhiJcMwzF1 — Brandon Davis (@BrandonDavisBD) 19 June 2019 Absolutely loved SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME. I'm a huge Mysterio fan and Gyllenhaal nails him. Also the movie is very clever (and funny) how it handles the fallout post ENDGAME in explaining how this world works now. — Mike Ryan (@mikeryan) 19 June 2019 Didn't LOVE #SpiderManFarFromHome as much as Homecoming but it's still a rad take on bearing the weight of great expectations and a fun ode to teen romance. Tom Holland continues to be amazing, Zendaya's MJ is just as cool as Shuri and Jake G's an inspired choice for Mysterio. pic.twitter.com/nnu7BPjcFO — Brian Truitt (@briantruitt) 19 June 2019 #FarFromHome non spoiler thoughts: most comic booky movie marvel has put out. Second and third acts are outstanding. The two post credit sequences are going to stick in my brain for a L O N G time. I cannot wait to see this movie at least three more times. — Preeti Chhibber (@runwithskizzers) 19 June 2019 #Spiderman #FarFromHome is SUCH a good movie! Jake Gyllenhaal suits up & completely embraces his role in its entirety & he's clearly having a blast. This is such a refreshing film after the heaviness of #EndGame. The post-credit scenes are a MUST WATCH & will blow your dang mind! pic.twitter.com/wcTh9iHaYq — Maude Garrett (@maudegarrett) 19 June 2019 Spider-Man: Far from Home is an extremely fun, cleverly executed, and frequently hilarious culmination of the MCU's wall-crawler's journey so far. Some very sweet moments, sly commentary and deft action set-pieces throughout #SpiderManFarFromHome pic.twitter.com/5sAmxh4E3p — Jim Vejvoda (@JimVejvoda) 19 June 2019 #SpiderManFarFromHome had the difficult task of following two epic Avengers movies AND Spider-Verse and succeeds by telling a smaller, classical story about Peter Parker caught between what he wants and what responsibility demands. Pure cat(spider)nip for Spidey fans like me. pic.twitter.com/G2a4p6YhAr — Matt Singer (@mattsinger) 19 June 2019 I love that #SpiderManFarFromHome is all sleight-of-hand. It begs to be seen multiple times. pic.twitter.com/nwIX24L8WH — Jason Guerrasio (@JasonGuerrasio) 19 June 2019 absolutely loved #SpiderManFarFromHome. Captures the spirit of the comics and mixes in some amazing movie magic. The second the film ended I wanted to watch it again. #JakeGyllenhaal is fantastic as Mysterio. pic.twitter.com/4ZYaS0L8mf — Steven Weintraub (@colliderfrosty) 19 June 2019 #SpiderManFarFromHome is the coda we needed after Endgame, a glimpse of how the world looks now that the dust has settled. Could maybe have gone a bit harder on P's emotional arc, but bursting with warmth and humor and awkward teen romance. ð Also: Jake G = perfect casting. — Angie J. Han (@ajhan) 19 June 2019 #SpiderManFarFromHome: B-/C+. If you loved the teen-centric stuff in Homecoming, there's more where that came from. Some of the comedy falls flat, but this film has A LOT going on – ultimately beneficial because it mostly distracts from stuff that doesn't land quite as well. pic.twitter.com/1wVMyT5bv9 — Ben Pearson (@benpears) 19 June 2019 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' is a refreshingly light-hearted adventure after the somber intensity of Avengers: Endgame, delivering exactly the kind of wise-cracking antics we've come to expect from Tom Holland's Peter Parker. - @jacobkleinman pic.twitter.com/EWik8F9VUr — Inverse (@inversedotcom) 19 June 2019 A lot of critics praised the film, saying it didn't disappoint them at all, as you can see above from the reactions. They all concurred that MCU has the most amazing ways to surprise their fans. There were also praises for how the film carved it's story post 'Avengers: Endgame' ending, and how the characters react to Iron Man aka Tony Starks death. There's a lot of mention of that towards the film's climactic action scene and several critics have mentioned that one may want to watch it over and over, just for that remarkable twist, towards the end. The film will conclude the third phase of the MCU, post which new characters will be introduced into the series, in all probability. So, get your Spidey game on and get ready to witness an excellent movie (as told by the critics) on July 5.
  2. To all the people who're getting on an airplane anytime soon, I'm sorry for what you're going to read next. There's a terrifying video of some violent turbulence on a plane that is going around right now, because well, it's terrifying. (I know I said terrifying twice, but this video deserves it. Possibly the worst flight ever was an ALK Airlines flight Boeing 737 going from Kosovo to Switzerland where at one point, the turbulence got so bad that a flight attendant crashed into the roof. Yep, the roof of the plane. Passenger Mirjeta Basha managed to capture the moment and well, here it is. Warning - this might make people's fear of flying even worse. The video shows the powerful jolt that threw the flight attendant into the roof of the aircraft. The fear among all the people aboard can also be seen. Reportedly, a few passengers were even hospitalized after the flight landed. Talking to a Swiss paper, Basha said, “People started screaming and crying. I thought we all had to die. My husband has scalded his neck.” A statement from the airport authorities said, “The flight from Pristina with airline ALK experienced turbulence in the air around 20 minutes before landing. The pilot alerted handling agents so that the airport firemen were immediately on the scene when the plane arrived. The aircraft continued for a normal landing, no emergency was declared. Medical assistance was requested after landing, two passengers needed medical assessment. No seats were ripped off at all.”
  3. Netflix India's latest offering 'Leila' starring Huma Qureshi hit our screens yesterday, and since the show was already pretty hyped-up with the trailer and plot looking very interesting, it was only natural that in less than 24 hours, a myriad of opinions would pop up once the show hit the air. The show is set up in a dystopian future, where a helpless mother is desperately looking for her lost daughter. The show has opened to rave reviews from a lot of peoplem, who are calling it a spine-chilling reality check. #Leila is a scary reality which might knock our doors in the near future. The need to create a better world for our future generations is more than ever. We shouldn't take clean water and air for granted anymore or else we won't have any left. @humasqureshi you were incredible. — Abheshek Garg (@LovelybonE_04) June 15, 2019 The freakiest part of #Leila for me is that the horrors shown are all happening already somewhere in the world...The policing of women's bodies, scarcity of water (those scenes ð±), food rations, fall of law and order, violence in the name of hyper-nationalism.. https://t.co/YGHHEk6WZL — Aliya Curmally (@filminista) June 15, 2019 The Dystopia depicted in the latest @NetflixIndia series #Leila is very Disturbing, Depressing & Disgusting. And in that disgust lies its strength. It is a warning sign for present generations to be careful with natural & ideological 'resources' or else witness mayhem in future. — Abhinav Saxena (@abhinavsaxena25) June 14, 2019 People are in awe of Huma Qureshi and everyone who put their hard work into making this show a success. Leila is the best work of Huma Qureshi.. I am spellbound with her impeccable performance.. Loved the series and hope the period shown in the series never comes.. @humasqureshi @NetflixIndia #leila netflix — Sneha (@beingsnehaa) June 14, 2019 One episode. ONE EPISODE is enough to shake you. Totally. I just hope it goes well ahead too. Wow @humasqureshi #Leila — υ∂αÒ¯ (@imuday02) June 14, 2019 However, there are many viewers who felt that the show was a little weak, in terms of depicting what it wanted to convey and also many felt the borrowed emotion from 'The Handmaid's Tale' to be quite evident . Just because something is controversial and bold, doesn't mean it's actually good#Leila is a copy of the show @HandmaidsOnHulu I have seen them both and I'd recommend skipping #Leila I also didn't like how political and communal they made it when they could've avoided it — ðððð ÙÙØÙÙد ‎ ðððððð (@tysaa13) June 14, 2019 Watched ep 1 of #Leila on Netflix. It was quite pedestrian. Very thin direction and substance, poor special effects. All it seemed good for was to massage many people's sense of outrage against the hierarchical & purity-obsessed Indian/Hindu society. — Dhara (@dhar_aa) June 14, 2019 Waste of time..!!! So much hype they created. Seriously all she has is only one emotion throughout the series and nothing else. Or maybe her face is only capable of producing that one and only emotion. #Leila — à²à²¿à²°à²à²à³à²µà²¿ à²à³à²¡ (@Ljs6JuKBeB4wgTI) June 14, 2019 Also, some people feel that the show comes across a politically charged propaganda and is defaming certain religions and strata of the society. I have one question for @netflix When you create a dystopian world for the west, you show all kind of tech and cool guys shitting science and girls riding ð¦ But while creating a dystopian India, you show an entire community in bad light. WTF is #Leila No ð PATHETIC — BRAHMA (@BrahmaUbaach) June 14, 2019 Sheer propaganda nthng else, frm costumes to stereotypes #leila is just another way to show their bigotry. @NetflixIndia hv grt content but y they r stooping to this propaganda, can't undrstnd. If u wnt to see totalitarian nation see documentries on NKorea n saudi on netflix only — Mayank Dua (@MayankDua88) June 14, 2019 Just watched #Leila how disgusting u Morron guys see only one religion bed shame on u @humasqureshi @NetflixIndia — chowkidar sachin soni (@beingsachin_) June 14, 2019 It looks like 'Leila' is one of those shows which cannot be ignored and we feel that we should actually watch it to form an opinion about it. Sounds like an interesting weekend plan, what say?
  4. By now, every single person knows that Keanu Reeves is the best person in Hollywood. I have literally never heard anything negative about the guy and since he's immortal, he's been alive for like centuries, so it's a good track record. The only time he's in news is when he does a movie or when he does a nice thing and shows everyone again how humble and down to earth he is. Well, this time, since 'John Wick 3 Parabellum' just released, we're talking about how nice he is, yet again. Recently, someone noticed something Keanu does whenever he gets a picture clicked with a woman. He always extends his hand so as to not exactly touch the other person. While it might seem over the top, it's better than people making up stories based on one innocent picture. Or maybe, he's just anxious and it's not that deep. Whatever the case may be, everyone is loving this seemingly small thing, just like people basically love everything Keanu ever does. Lol Keanu ain't taking no chances. ððpic.twitter.com/nnfIOZKbT1 — Kemoy Lindsay (@KemziLinzi) June 9, 2019 Exactly. cAnnot believe this bunch of morons thinks keanu being respectful is bc he "doesn't wanna get hit with a lawsuit". **** off. he just ain't a fucking creep like you. https://t.co/IUDa2tY0PG — lolly ð(@f_ingspacequeen) June 10, 2019 Good explanation. I don't think embracing someone asking to take a picture with you is disrespectful, in theory. But choosing to still respect their personal space is smart because it is thoughtful. — Jacquis Neal (@jacquisneal) June 9, 2019 The great tweet and pun. John Grip — Maximus Desimus (@redcurrymonster) June 9, 2019 What a gif. pic.twitter.com/1THTLcpbGl — Chagres (@ChagresPTY) June 9, 2019 Yep. Honestly the only hero we have left — Cameron Kasky (@cameron_kasky) June 9, 2019 Hmm. Just a thought... perhaps Keanu recognized that not one of these women gave him their consent to touch him and I don't know, he respected their bodily autonomy. Keanu showing everyone how to be respectful might be a potential takeaway as well. This is just a thought though. — Dave- kindness costs nothing (@strikeoutss) June 10, 2019 Well, he has good manners. It's called “manner hands” And is used by many men around the world (mainly Asian countries). — KARD Thots // #JIWOOSBOOBMOLE (@dayona_devasia) June 9, 2019 We sure do! We stan a respectful king — ð¿ELLE ð¿(@ellektrikk) June 10, 2019
  5. Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out for about two to three weeks due to an injury sustained on his thumb, due to a rising delivery from Nathan Coulter-Nile in India's second consecutive victory in this year's ICC Cricket World Cup. Dhawan went on to score a marvellously-paced century, being dismissed at a very well-made 117 from 109 despite playing through considerable pain. Reports have emerged claiming that the left-handed opener will not be available to play for the next three weeks due to the injury he sustained in the game. © Twitter/ICC A key player essential for the balance in the Indian top-order, Dhawan's absence will leave a gaping hole in the batting lineup for the Blues, as they look set to build on a remarkable start to the World Cup. The reactions have come pouring in from fans and experts alike and it is safe to say that he will be sorely missed for the rest of India's World Cup campaign. Breaking News: Shikhar Dhawan ruled out for at least three weeks with thumb fracture. ð² Me on Google: How to win multi national ICC tournament in England without #ShikharDhawan? — Durgansh Dixitð¨ð®ð³ (@DurganshDixit) June 11, 2019 Dhawan's injury is a huge blow to India. Rahul is an excellent player & should move up to open but he has not got the pedigree of Dhawan who is one of the world's best openers. His absence will make India a lot more vulnerable in P1 - the foundation of their success. #CWC19 — Freddie Wilde (@fwildecricket) June 11, 2019 India's entire strategy is built on the strength of their top three. Shikhar Dhawan's injury - if he's out for the whole tournament - is enormous. Who replaces him as opener is the biggest decision India's selectors have had to make in years. #CWC19 — Ben Jones (@benjonescricket) June 11, 2019 Rishabh Pant, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey & Prithvi Shaw outside the BCCI Headquarters after #ShikharDhawan is ruled out from the world cup due to thumb injury.#CWC19 #WorldCup2019 @DennisCricket_ pic.twitter.com/hlhCS9qjjr — Bilal Shahid (@BilalShahidRana) June 11, 2019 Rohit Sharma Right now #ShikharDhawan pic.twitter.com/8ZrzfURsBe — Kabiraa (@being_kabir) June 11, 2019 As India's stand-bys, Ambati Rayudu and Rishabh Pant look set to join the Indian cricket team in England for the rest of the campaign as KL Rahul is widely expected to fill Dhawan's position as opener alongside Rohit Sharma. Having answered all his critics with a brilliant century against one of the stronger teams in the World Cup, Dhawan's absence can prove to be a massive blow for India's bid to bring home the World Cup this year.
  6. We're going to talk about an age old dating trend which has found a new name and is incessant in its occurrence and let's face it, can be quite lethal. We're talking about 'Love Bombing' and it's the worst manipulative move in today's dating game. No, love bombing isn't bombarding someone with love. Well, not entirely. It's a lot more than that. (c)Pintrest Love bombing is an emotionally abusive situation in a relationship where the victim goes through manipulative withdrawal after being showered with love and affection. The victims are usually people who have gone through emotionally strung out, abusive relationships in the past and haven't worked on changing their particular pattern; hence they get manipulated easily into another damaging relationship, because they haven't worked on their past issues. Such people attract relationships with narcissistic folks, making them vulnerable to the concept of love bombing. (c)Pintrest It's basically a weapon disguised as affection and you may get a lot of it from the person who is love bombing you, but her ultimate motive is to manipulate you in to believing it's all real. So, in order to avoid being love-bombed, especially when you've just come out of a serious relationship, here's what you can do: (1) Take Things Very Slow One major fact about love bombers are they will get under your skin and your psyche way too quickly. They will give their all, in little time and suddenly it'll feel like this fits perfectly well. Because love is blind, quite literally and before you know it, after a boatload of love and affection they will show you a side you were never privy to before. While giving you the attention that you always craved for, they also shower you with gifts, which in most cases is a transactional process for them. All these moves are quite calculative and well thought out, before they start withdrawing and showing you their true colours (mostly their abusive and controlling side) before the romance starts to fizzle out. (c)Pintrest So, in order to avoid that situation, take it slow at first and make sure you know the person fairly well, before you're drawn or lured in to their trap. Love bombers are impatient people. They want everything to go rather quickly so you have to take your own time to figure what you need to and in case they bail, because you were taking your time, they were worth it to begin with. (2) Don't Delve Into Future-Talks Love bombers love talking about the future, in little to no time. You may feel you have found the right person who is giving you everything you've ever desired including making future plans with you. From wedding plans to how many kids you both want to have, everything will be laid straight out like the best made plans. But there's a catch. Future talks with a love bomber are sure shot signs of red flag. It's tricky because love bombers trick you into believing they are an important part of your life and indispensable to your future happiness. (c)Pintrest Make sure you don't indulge in any future plans with them, until you're sure and significant time has gone by and you've figured out their true intention. Otherwise they will leave you with a million dreams for the future and disappear. (3) If They Start To Seem Difficult, Leave A few traits you can't miss when you're with a narcissistic love bomber is that they will play on your insecurities, their unreasonable demands and expectations will increase, things will obviously start to fizzle out and the relationship will feel like a constant emotional-merry-go-round. These are the signs you need to watch out for, when things start getting a little too aggressive and abrupt and leave. Save yourself some hurt and recognise these patterns. You will know how they treat you, which will be very different from how anyone in a 'normal' relationship would. (c)Pintrest Most times it's a human tendency to feel good about oneself and attract people who make people feel good about themselves. Sometimes people go through heavily abusive relationships and make it a pattern to attract people who will behave the same way the others have in the past, with them. The solution is to break the pattern and introspect as to why you let certain people into your life. Love bombing is one of the most toxic forms of abuse and if you realise the traces early on, you can definitely break away and live without the unnecessary toxicity. Or just pay attention to the pointers mentioned above and be at guard with love bombers who may come your way.
  7. Yesterday's swearing-in ceremony was quite eventful, but one of the biggest things everyone realized was Sushma Swaraj won't be a part of the Modi Government 2.0. The much loved former Minister of External Affairs of India did not take part in the Lok Sabha elections this year but people still had hopes that she would get a nomination for Rajya Sabha and become a part of the Cabinet. But, looks like following some health troubles, she won't be a part of the new government. Thanking PM Narendra Modi in a tweet for giving her the opportunity to serve the people of the country for five years, she said - पà¥à¤°à¤§à¤¾à¤¨ मà¤à¤¤à¥à¤°à¥ à¤à¥ - à¤à¤ªà¤¨à¥ 5 वरà¥à¤·à¥à¤ तठमà¥à¤à¥ विदà¥à¤¶ मà¤à¤¤à¥à¤°à¥ à¤à¥ तà¥à¤° पर दà¥à¤¶à¤µà¤¾à¤¸à¤¿à¤¯à¥à¤ à¤à¤° पà¥à¤°à¤µà¤¾à¤¸à¥ भारतà¥à¤¯à¥à¤ à¤à¥ सà¥à¤µà¤¾ à¤à¤°à¤¨à¥ à¤à¤¾ मà¥à¤à¤¾ दिया à¤à¤° पà¥à¤°à¥ à¤à¤¾à¤°à¥à¤¯à¤à¤¾à¤² मà¥à¤ वà¥à¤¯à¤à¥à¤¤à¤¿à¤à¤¤ तà¥à¤° पर भॠबहà¥à¤¤ समà¥à¤®à¤¾à¤¨ दिया. मà¥à¤ à¤à¤ªà¤à¥ पà¥à¤°à¤¤à¤¿ बहà¥à¤¤ à¤à¤à¤¾à¤°à¥ हà¥à¤. हमारॠसरà¤à¤¾à¤° बहà¥à¤¤ यशसà¥à¤µà¤¿à¤¤à¤¾ सॠà¤à¤²à¥, पà¥à¤°à¤à¥ सॠमà¥à¤°à¥ यहॠपà¥à¤°à¤¾à¤°à¥à¤¥à¤¨à¤¾ हà¥. — Sushma Swaraj (@SushmaSwaraj) May 30, 2019 This was followed by a lot of heartfelt messages, thanking her for all that she's done these past few years. 8. The selector of the Pakistan Cricket Board have been extremely busy ever since they first announced their preliminary 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019, to be held in England and Wales. While the team disclosed the tentative names of the players on 18th April 2019, a lot has changed within the roster, especially after the five-game ODI series that was held against the World Cup hosts, Team England. Just moments after the unfortunate news of Pakistani middle order batsman, Asif Ali's daughter's death due to cancer broke out, the PCB announced their final list of players who will be wearing the green jersey for the quadrennial contest on Monday. As compared to the list that was announced last month, the selectors have replaced Abid Ali with Asif Ali and Wahad Riaz has taken away the World Cup berth from Faheem Ashraf. While most of the changes were taken by the dropped and recalled players in good stride, one player in particular, lefty pacer Junaid Khan was not a big fan of the switcheroo that too place between Mohammad Amir and him. The 29-year-old therefore decided to show his protest towards the selectors of the Pakistan national team and the Pakistan board of the game by sharing a rather cryptic picture of himself from his social media accounts, which the athlete later removed: © Twitter/Junaid Khan "I dont want to say anything. Truth is bitter. (Sach karwa hotha hai)," Junaid wrote on a Twitter post along with the aforementioned picture of himself in which the cricketer can be seen wearing a black tape over his mouth. According to Inzamam-ul-Haq, Chairman of the selection committee of the PCB, the decision with regards to Junaid and the rest of the pacers was made after taking into consideration their poor bowling display in the 0-4 series loss to Eoin Morgan's English cricket team. "Junaid and Faheem (Ashraf) are dropped but that doesn't mean they are not good. But we think players like Amir and Wahab are more suitable for these conditions, which is why we have preferred them," Inzamam-ul-Haq said.
  9. I basically covered this in the first and second part of this article, but yes, no one likes getting rejected, but also no one can ever avoid rejection in life. The most important and telling thing, though, is how someone reacts to the rejection. We're not talking about like serious rejection in life today, but rather how fast some guys change as soon as they get rejected. All the self-proclaimed nice guys who think that women don't like them because they're too nice and women always end up choosing the jerk, we're talking about them today. As a way to call out guys who just turn hostile after no reply by the girl, or just getting rejected, a Twitter account is here to talk about everything. The account called 'She Rates Dogs' posts a bunch of screenshots that they receive and rates the guys, which is usually in the minus, of course. And yes, this is the third part of the same article because this is so common, so many guys don't know how to handle rejection and that's why the page is always thriving with new, hilarious, and sometimes scary reactions. 10. It's 2019, a ballpark year where millennials are taking over new ways to think and act freely and as a rejoinder to that, a recently conducted survey on Tinder suggests that most millennials prefer being single than in relationships. It's apparently cooler flying solo than choosing a partner to spend time with and most young people agree. © Pinterest Back in the day, being single was looked down or lamented upon and everyone was trying to find the 'right partner' or get back in the game till they hit jackpot but now, it's out of choice, men especially, like to remain single and dabble in either light dating or just hooking up once in a while. The fair assumption of ending up with 15 cats or as a loner ceases to exist as people embrace singlehood more willingly. © Excel Entertainment Being single does have its perks though. You can roam about freely without having to check with your significant other if you can! You don't have to share your dessert and you don't have to try hard to look good for someone else. Maybe just do that for yourself instead. Men and women between the ages of 18-25 are selectively choosing to remain single and live life on their terms and it's certainly a good evolutionary curve and a step away from getting married at a particular age. The results from the survey are quite fascinating, to be honest. So much so, they inspired Tinder's new 'single is a terrible thing to waste' campaign, promoting the single life to be fun, fascinating and aspirational. © Eros International The survey was conducted by the consultancy firm Morar HPI and over 1000 young people from the age groups of 18-25 were asked about their attitude and ideas of singlehood and dating. About 72% of men and women claimed they had made a conscious decision to be single and not because they didn't have a choice and that's quite a high percentage for a survey like this! About 81% of them agreed to the fact that being single benefited them as they had more room for personal growth, platonic friendships, scope to find new people all the time and time and space to work on themselves. More than 17% of men felt the need to stay single and not give relationships a thought, in general. Most of them were a little apprehensive on commitment and getting hurt in the longer run of the relationship. © Eros International The fear of becoming 'boring' in a relationship made at least 39% of the population a little wary to get into one in the first place and about 55% thought being single opens up new and fresher experiences than being in a relationship! Apart from these reason, 66% didn't want to get into a relationship because of a cultivated fear of being with the wrong person. Of course, single friends have friends in relationships that could have gone absolutely south, making them believe it's better to be single than to end up with the wrong person. A lot of men believe that they don't want to compromise on their independence so they choose to be single instead of tied down to another person. © UTV Motion Pictures So, mostly the reasons the millennial generation prefer staying single in this day and age is to be more independent, make selective life choices without anyone else's intervention, the fear of heartbreaks and ending up with the wrong person and establishing an identity that's synonymous with being fun and exciting rather than boring. Well, in my opinion this is a progressive standpoint taken over by the younger generation today and unlike before, this view will help the generation understand how to make relationships work a lot better, whenever they do decide to get into them.
  11. The Stark children were each fated to a direwolf at the very beginning of the show. In one of the early episodes of Season 1, all of them were given direwolf pups of their dead direwolf mother. Most direwolves were separated from the Stark children spread out across the eight seasons. The last of the direwolves, Ghost, parted with Jon Snow in episode 4, Season 8 on 'Game Of Thrones'. This direwolf has come a long way since Season one. It survived so much and especially the Battle Of Winterfell, which not many survived. The direwolf has sprung to save Jon's life countless times on the show. However, now that Jon has to head to King's Landing to serve his queen, he had to bid his pet goodbye. However, did you notice how cold the farewell was? Jon didn't even pet Ghost one last time before leaving. And Twitter did not digest this well. Here are some tweets that make it clear that people are not okay with Ghost being ghosted by Jon: 1. We Agree. Look. I like Jon. 12. The much-anticipated 'The Long Night' episode of 'Game of Thrones' aired earlier this week. Die-hard fans, who watched the episode, were left rather disappointed when multiple scenes were too dark for them make out what's actually happening in the Battle of Winterfell. Well, after receiving a lot of criticism for the poorly-lit episode, the show's cinematographer Fabian Wagner decided to give some clarity. But instead of apologizing, he defended his artistic choices. © HBO Wagner said he filmed the episode in such a fashion on purpose. He said the show was directed and shot like a cinematic experience that could be viewed in a movie theatre. He went on to blame the viewers' TV settings and the quality of the screens. “A lot of the problem is that a lot of people don't know how to tune their TVs properly,” Wagner said while speaking to Wired UK and TMZ. “I know it wasn't too dark because I shot it”, said Wagner. While we appreciate Wagner and his team's intentions and effort to deliver a cinematic experience, it doesn't really make any sense. Like, why would you try to deliver a theatrical experience and make it fit for big screens when the show is not going to be shown in any theatres in the first place? © HBO Millions of people watch it on their TVs or stream it at a compressed quality on OTT platforms like Hotstar on small screens like smartphones, tablet, etc. In fact, Wagner himself noted that HBO's compression of the episode to help smooth over the streaming process, majorly ruined the experience. Then why not shoot the show with proper lighting, so it looks good on all screens? His excuse falls apart right there? Also, it's not the first episode of the show, where the scenes were supposed to be dark. We've seen a lot of 'dark' episodes of the show in the past which were quite enjoyable and, most importantly, easy to watch. So, we can't help but raise questions here when he says “the showrunners decided that this had to be a dark episode”. Yes, the idea was to show an impactful battle, but what good are the efforts when people can't even see what's happening in the battle?
  13. The Battle Of Winterfell is done and dusted with. However, do you really think that all the business with the Night King is over? I mean, sire, the battle with Cersei matters more and is probably central to 'Game Of Thrones'. But do you really think that the Night King and his Army of the Dead, which was hyped since season 1, would go down this easily? But here's the thing, the great Battle of Winterfell was not without flaws of its own. Like, what was Bran up to while Theon was fighting away the dead. Why would Bran willingly send off Theon to his death? Why are all the main characters or at least the characters whose storylines matter, dead? Wasn't 'Game Of Thrones' built on the principle of catching the audience off guard killing people off who mattered? That's the alarming part and we're not even getting any answers. However, there is a new theory that suggests the unthinkable. So, far, we've thought of Cersei, Sansa, and even the Dragon Queen Daenerys as evil and a possible threat to the Iron Throne. But, what if it's none of them but Bran? What if Bran is the villain everyone should be afraid of? In a Reddit post from user ColdBeing titled “Something just doesn't feel right,” ColdBeing expresses suspicion about the Night King's demise (something that outraged most fans after the third episode of GOT). “They hyped up The Night King for seasons upon seasons, years upon years and this is how he goes out? There's just no way,” the Redditor wrote. They also questioned why Bran warged for so long while Theon was defending him. “Could he have been making a deal with The Night King?” Then, here's a tweet that complicates everything: How did the #NightKing change Craster's babies? By touching them. How did he change Viserion? By touching it. What did Bloodraven say to #BranStark in the cave? "He touched you."#foodforthought#nightking #GameofThrones — Vladimir Furdik (@Vladimir_furdik) April 28, 2019 The theory notes how strange it is that Bran appreciated Theon Greyjoy for being a good man right before he ran to his death. Even when he knows, all the trauma has made him, well a little aloof. © HBO So, while it was great to see Arya plunge the Valyrian steel dagger in the Night King's heart, something isn't quite adding up. And the thing is, Game Of Thrones is good at this sort of a thing where they surprise the audience out of nowhere. Could this be why Bran has been straight off cold and stoic this season? Or the fact that it's just Bran's body and the three-eyed Raven's soul, but then at what point did Bran leave the body? We will only find out in the next episode, hopefully.
  14. The entire world is preparing to witness the gory aesthetics of the battle of Winterfell as the armies have united with the Starks to save themselves from the wrath of the Night Walker and his wights. we got hold of some unseen images from the next episode which gives out a few hints from what can we expect. The one image which surprised and confused us at the same time is where you can see Khaleesi and Jon Snow standing on a hill top as the battle of Winterfell is on in the background ( or that is how it seems to be ), or it could possibly be them looking out for the Night King's arrival. © HBO another image has Tyrion and Varys having a deep conversation in the crypts. There's an image of Sansa Stark in a pensive mood , who later joins her sister Arya. © HBO © HBO © HBO There's an image of Brienne of Tarth with Jamie Lannister as they face the army of the dead © HBO And a scared Jon Snow looks horrified which I don't know, probably announces the arrival of the Night King? © HBO With a myriad of theories flying around us, the wait is making us go mad already! In case you don't wake up at 6:30 am every Monday to witness the madness first hand, you can also catch 'Game Of Thrones' on Star World every Tuesday at 10 pm.
  15. "When I had moved to Mumbai for the first time with big Bollywood dreams, it was Bhaiya who asked me to move back. He said I wasn't ready. To be honest, that perhaps was the best advice anyone could have given me at the time..." quips Aparshakti, with unparalleled candour, while talking about his unique relationship with his elder brother Ayushmann, and the chemistry they share. © MensXP The fact that Aparshakti is the younger brother of the one and only Ayushmann Khurrana, came to the mainstream consciousness much later, when he already had carved a niche for himself as a rock-solid 'supporting actor', another topic he deals with maturity, with a side of unapologetic practicality and humility, reflected on his spirited countenance. © MensXP "What is wrong with being a supporting actor? I have never understood the side-eye supporting actors receive in the industry. If you are an actor who is true to his craft, you will take up every role as the role of a lifetime. I have played the role of a supporting actor in 7 different films, and given a choice, I won't change a thing!". As he moves on to the much-deserved mainstream stardom now, Aparshakti still looks at all the roles he has played with utmost reverence and fondness, something which is a rarity within the B-Town glam and glitz. © MensXP Aparshakti is wearing: Denim Dhoti - Nicobar, Denim Sherwani - Zara, Footwear - Gucci, Eyewear - Vedi Vero @kapooropticalco On being asked about how it felt, to have been handed supporting roles, despite being the sibling of an A-lister, Aparshakti was quick to dismiss the question. "I count it as a blessing. I honestly do. Having played so many roles as a supporting actor, I now feel like I am finally ready. It prepares you, it makes you realize the value of the place at the top, and most importantly, it teaches you lessons which no acting class can teach." In an industry supposedly rife with nepotism, the fact that Ayushmann never used his stature to create a platform for his own brother, is something Aparshakti is thankful for, because that singularly made sure that the success he has achieved over time, is anything but ephemeral. © MensXP Aparshakti is wearing: Jacket - Bershka, Lowers - DNA, Shoes - Off-white, Eyewear - Gucci @kapooropticalco, Watch - Gucci "One thing I shall always remember, is a line Bhaiya told me about Mumbai. When he told me to go back and prepare better, he ended the conversation with a line: 'Yeh shehar khud bulaata hai' (This city calls you itself)." While most A-listers advise their relatives to go to the gym and work on their appearance and fashion sense before their Bollywood debut, Aparshakti fondly remembers Ayushmann giving him a no-nonsense piece of advice, that ultimately proved to be life-changing for him. "He told me to actively pursue acting in the theater for 4-5 years. He told me acting is an art and a craft, and requires training and practice, just like any other art form. Thank God he was wise enough to give me the advice, and I took it seriously." © MensXP "But how did it all start? Did you always want to become an actor? What's the story?" "I honestly have no idea how or when. I recall one incidence from my school days, that helped my self-confidence skyrocket. When I was in the 9th standard, there used to be a trophy of sorts for the 'best student' of the batch, and their name used to be published in the newspaper. I was a pretty average student, you know, when it came to academics. However, I used to be good with my extracurricular activities - sports, drama, music etc., which ensured that I won a lot of prizes and trophies. The Principal of the school used to take a call on who to choose as the best student, and to my shock, my Principal, Rajni Thareja Ma'am, chose me. I later heard that she was questioned by everyone about her seemingly odd choice, in response to which she took them to the staff room, and pointed towards all the trophies I had won in extra-curriculars. 'He's a special kid' - she had said. Till date, I am grateful to her." © MensXP "Also, I did not know what I wanted for a long time, and honestly just went with the flow. I studied Law for 5 years and got my LLB degree. In fact, I worked at the Delhi High Court for a while, can you imagine? I also worked as a Radio Jockey for quite some time, and it was way after that, I started thinking about doing more with my life. The acting bug finally bit me, and then started a whole new phase of preparation, which perhaps taught me more about life than anything else. I had to face everything a newcomer faces in the industry, and I had to work my way up. There was no other way, and I'm glad it was the way it was, because it made me a stronger person, in ways I had not fathomed earlier." © MensXP Aparshakti is wearing: Outfit - SixPM, Eyewear - Carrera, @kapooropticalco, Wrist Band - Louis Vuitton, Shoes - Dolce & Gabbana, Trolley - Rimowa @Off-white On being asked about how the family dynamics are at home, Aparshakti candidly chuckles. "It's as normal and desi as it gets. I believe both Bhaiya and I get our strict work ethics from our father, and I wish to achieve the patience levels of mom, but I don't think I can ever reach there. She is the most patient, graceful, calm, and composed person I have ever met in my life. Bhaiya gets it from her." © MensXP Aparshakti is quick to point out, however, that he also grew up with the same set of struggles every Indian youngster faces. "I was working as a Radio Jockey, and I was fairly successful. I was doing well, and was financially secure too. Even then, there were relatives and neighbours who would unapologetically throw the annoying question: Lekin beta, kaam kya karte ho?", he sighs, before bursting out in a bout of dismissive laughter. © MensXP "What makes you happy?" "My work makes me happy, of course. But other than that, I'd say seemingly small, insignificant things, that perhaps others won't get. 'Alone time' is important to me. I love listening to my favourite music while driving... it gives me such immense joy, that is not describable. Also, football. You know, not a lot of things can match up to the the boundless joy of playing an intense match of football on a green field, wet and slippery with heavy rainfall. It is just therapeutic. You end up feeling fresh, instead of being tired. I still enjoy it as much as I did during my teenage years. Also, some quality time with my loved ones and my family never fails to cheer me up...!", he smiles. © MensXP "The trick to be happy, and I really believe that, is to count your blessings every day. Everyone has something to be grateful for, and the moment you realize that perhaps not everyone is fortunate enough to have what you have, happiness just... happens. That gratitude is what keeps me going, on days that are particularly taxing. But I'm happy! I feel life has just started for me, and I can't wait to find out what's next!", he signs off with a faint smile, radiant with gratitude, as he gingerly holds another prestigious award, the 'Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award' for the 'Comic Performance of The Year' to be precise, for 'Stree'. © MensXP Aparshakti is wearing: Denim Short Kurta - Boheco, Jeans - Zara, Footwear - Artimen, Eyewear - Irresistor @kapooropticalco As he moves on to 'greener pastures' now, so to say, with lead/parallel lead roles, he is ready - with experience, validation for his hard work, and most importantly, the unconditional love of the audience that constantly craves for honest, heartfelt performances coupled with raw talent, which is his USP. All we can say is, we wish him all the luck for his upcoming projects, not that he needs any, as he has been proving with every single project, right from the day the city of dreams finally welcomed him with open arms, as his brother had once wisely predicted. 16. A very faint seismic signal was tracked and recorded by the Insight lander on April 6th as the trembling appears to have come from inside the planet. The recording could have been caught by forces above the surface, such as wind, but now it has been confirmed that it was a legit earthquake. © NASA Scientists are still examining the data to know more about the seismic signal and its origins. The signal was detected by the lander's Seismic Experiment for Interior Structure (SEIS) instrument. Three very distinct sounds could be heard and all of them were detected as ground vibrations. © NASA InSight heard the “marsquake” using an instrument that contains three ultra sensitive seismometers installed inside a dome. This dome protects the seismometers from external forces like the wind. “We've been waiting months for a signal like this,” said French seismologist Philippe Lognonné. “It's so exciting to finally have proof that Mars is still seismically active.” InSight's two-year mission will continue and there's a good chance that larger quakes will be discovered. “We're starting to have many small quakes,” he said. By the end of the mission, he told Science Magazine, “we'll have a super big quake.” NASA had previously installed seismometers that measured numerous quakes on the moon in 1969 and 1977. While this may not be the first time mankind has detected quakes away from Earth, it is, however, a first to be measured on a distant planet.
  17. Hunger is one of the main reasons people overeat and gain fat. While this is in the context of general eating, hunger pangs are all the more a problem when you are dieting for fat loss. Why is that? When you go on a diet, two of the main hormones related to hunger and satiety go for a toss. The hormone, being leptin, which plays a role in signalling satiety and ghrelin which signals hunger to your brain. © Getty Images When you diet, leptin goes down and ghrelin shoots up. Results? HANGER (hunger+anger)! So, here are five useful tricks that will help you manage hunger while dieting: 1. Drink More Water Studies have shown that drinking water 15 to 30 minutes before a meal reduces your food consumption considerably, especially for sweet or savoury food items which are usually high in calories. At times, we even confuse thirst with hunger. This makes us eat more when we are just thirsty and we increase our calorie intake by doing this. So, drink a glass of water 30 minutes before your meal. 2. Do Not Drink Your Calories Drinking your calories is the easiest way to finish off your daily calorie limit while not feeling full. Liquid calories, as we call them, are your worst enemies on a diet. Why? a. It is easier to drink a lot of them. b. It does not make you full, even one bit. So, if you are drinking normal sodas, juices, sugary teas or energy drinks, cut them out when dieting. 3. Eat More Protein Protein is considered the most satiating macronutrient. In studies comparing diets with different protein intakes, higher protein diets have shown higher dietary compliance and satisfaction compared to the lower protein counterparts. How much protein should you consume during a fat-loss phase? 1.8 to 2.3 grams per kilogram of body weight. 4. Increase Your Fibre Intake Fibre is another thing to consider if you are struggling with hunger pangs during a diet. Fibre is usually a high-volume, low-calorie food. Meaning, fibre-rich foods are low in calories for a relatively huge quantity. And it slows down digestion and delays gastric emptying. So, if you have the feeling of emptiness even after eating food, including some more fibrous carbohydrates by eliminating starchy carbohydrates might just do the trick. 5. Moderate Your Junk Food Consumption © Getty Images Though I am a thorough proponent of flexible dieting, I am also a huge proponent of moderation. Just because your calories play a major role in determining your weight loss or weight gain, does not mean you eat a majority of junk food while losing weight. Yes, it is possible to even eat exclusively junk and lose weight if you keep your calories under check but is it a wise thing to do? Absolutely not! The reason being that these junk food options are high-calorie low-volume food options making you eat very less food and finish off your calorie targets for the day. This hunger will ultimately make you eat more calories defeating the entire process. Majority of the times, keep your foods coming from unprocessed, nutrient-dense, whole foods and occasionally indulge in the foods you love for better adherence and ultimately results. 18. “With great power comes great responsibility,” a statement then said in Spiderman but off-lately moulded by Ajinkya Rahane. Given the responsibility to lead Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League 2019, Rahane was bestowed with a lot of belief by his management. Not performing since the beginning of the tournament, the Mumbai lad failed to lead as a captain and also as he lost four games out of the six until he was replaced by Steve Smith in the match against Mumbai Indians. But as soon as Rahane the captain was relieved from his skipper duty, it gave room for Rahane the batsman to outshine and play more freely. In Monday's game against Delhi Capitals, the right-hander once again showed his class by batting all throughout the innings and scoring a flamboyant hundred. 19. Samsung announced one of the most iconic smartphones in the company history back in February and was the first to show off a foldable smartphone. The company has managed to produce the smartphone at a scale and is now ready to be sold in various regions, Huawei showed off their version of a foldable smartphone as well that also touted a unique and exciting design. Samsung has already started to send out review devices to journalists and there have been numerous reports about the $2000 dollar smartphone breaking after a single day of use. The Galaxy Fold has been suffering a broken screen sometimes due to user error or due to low durability. The first report comes from Dieter Bohn at The Verge where he had a piece of debris under the Galaxy Fold display. It was pressing up against the back of the display and caused a bump in the OLED panel. The debris managed to press against the display enough to break it and killed some vertical and horizontal rows of pixels. © Twitter/Steve Kovach For Steve Kovach of CNBC, the device's display broke right along the fold crease and the pixels in the folding area were dead. This kind of confirmed that the crease in the middle may cause an issue as the display broke right along the crease. © Twitter The Galaxy Fold also comes with a layer on the display that resembles some sort of protective glass. The layer is not supposed to be removed; however, some of the reviewers were not known of the case. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg removed the layer of the display file saying, The phone comes with this protective layer/film. Samsung says you are not supposed to remove it. I removed it, not knowing you're not supposed to (consumers won't know either). It appeared removable in the left corner, so I took it off. I believe this contributed to the problem." Samsung is the only company right now that has managed to make foldable smartphones real then masses. The Galaxy Fold is definitely for first-generation early adopters as we will see some improvements in design in the near future. As of now, Galaxy Fold is already sold out when it comes to pre-orders and has "overwhelming demand”.
  20. India's Mission Shakti has become a huge topic of discussion over the past few days, and rightfully so. There has been a lot of banter surrounding it ever since PM Narendra Modi made the announcement. First, a former ISRO engineer called the mission a complete waste. It was followed by NASA administrator Bridenstine's comments, who didn't really seem happy about the mission. © Twitter Now the chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra, has joined the discussion by calling out NASA's comments on the mission. Now, Anand Mahindra, in case you don't know, is very active on the micro-blogging site. He's also known to be very opinionated about all the current happenings. A case of the pot calling the kettle black. From a nation that created most of the debris in space over decades, this is an audacious statement.... https://t.co/QFqCnES2gt — anand mahindra (@anandmahindra) April 2, 2019 In his tweet quoting NDTV, Anand defended Mission Shakti and called NASA's statement 'audacious'. “A case of the pot calling the kettle black. From a nation that created most of the debris in space over decades, this is an audacious statement,' he said. Anand's tweet is essentially a response to NASA chief Bridenstine's comments on the space debris. Earlier this month, Bridenstine said that India's move to destroy a defunct satellite a 'terrible thing' as it left 400 pieces in space. He also claimed that the debris has put the lives of astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) under massive risk.
  21. Just when we thought the whole PUBG addiction fiasco has come to an end, we hear a new story about someone taking their own life. This time, it's an Indian teenager from Hyderabad who has committed suicide, after his mother allegedly scolded him for playing PUBG on his phone during the board exams. The 16-year-old boy named Kallakuri Samsbashiva, who was a class X student, hung himself from the ceiling fan of his room. Apparently, he latched his bedroom from the inside after being scolded by his mother for playing the game for too long instead of studying for his board exam. © PUBG Corp. As soon as the parents and the neighbors knocked down the door and found him hanging, they rushed him to the nearest hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival. While speaking to Deccan Chronicle, sub-inspector K Sanjeeva Reddy said the boy has been playing the game for months, which led to his addiction. The news about the boy taking his life comes as a surprise, especially when just heard that the ban on the game has been lifted. It's high time that people start taking this more seriously and act responsibly. Or else it's only a matter of time until the game gets banned and people start getting arrested, again.
  22. Apple has now started to manufacture the iPhone 7 in India which makes it the third device by the company that is being assembled locally. Previously, the company was assembling the iPhone SE and iPhone 6s in India as a part of the company's 'Made in India' initiative. © MensXP Apple said in an email to our sister website ET “We are proud to be producing iPhone 7 in Bengaluru for our local customers, furthering our long-term commitment in India,” According to Apple, two variants of the iPhone 7 i.e. 32GB and 128GB models will be manufactured in India and will sell for Rs 39,990 and Rs 49,990 respectively. The smartphone is being manufactured by Wistron, a Taiwanese contract manufacturer that will be assembling the iPhone 7 models. While making the iPhone 7 in India reduces the cost of manufacturing considerably, the Cupertino giant is not looking to slash the prices and instead use the extra funds for an aggressive marketing strategy in India. Previously, Tim Cook has admitted that the company has faced a decline in iPhone sales in emerging markets like India. The CEO attributed the struggle to issues like foreign exchange and “weak macro-transactions” which contributed towards slow iPhone sales in countries like India, Brazil and Russia. © MensXP iPhone 7 was launched by Apple in 2016 and features a 4.6-inch Retina HD Display. The smartphone is water and dust resistant and has a rating of IP67. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner called “Touch ID” at the front and is powered by Apple's A10 Fusion chip. 23. IAF wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman needs no introduction. While our B-town celebs are flocked by fans for their fictional representational of characters on screen, Abhinandan Varthaman is a real-life national hero who not only braved all odds to survive an extremely difficult situation but has won the respect and hearts of everyone in the country. © Twitter The squadron leader was captured by Pakistani army last month and he returned 2 days later and was advised to be on a sick leave. However, he surprised everyone once again with his determination when he decided to join back his squadron in Srinagar. The IAF pilot chose to go back to serving his nation instead of staying home. People on social media are lauding him by calling him a lion who's returned for the kill and a hero who is back to serve his nation. He has already expressed his desire to go back to flying fighter jets and hence a medical board is supposed to review his health before a decision can be made on the same. He was captured by Pakistan after his MiG-21 Bison was shot during an aerial combat and even though he was captured and interrogated, he continued to choose his loyalty towards his motherland over saving himself after he refused to give away any sensitive information about India.
  24. I basically covered this in the first part of this article. Yes, no one likes getting rejected, but also literally no one can ever avoid rejection in life. The most important thing, though, is how someone reacts to the rejection. We're not talking about serious rejections in life today, but rather how fast some guys change colours as soon as they get rejected. All the self-proclaimed 'nice guys' who think that women don't like them because they're too nice and women always end up choosing the jerk, we're talking about them today. As a way to call out guys who just turn hostile after no reply from the girl, or just getting rejected, a Twitter account is here to talk about everything. The account called 'She Rates Dogs' posts a bunch of screenshots that they receive and rates the guys, which is usually in the minus, of course: 2/10 for the determination, -2/10 for the creepiness When you block him so he makes fake Instagram accounts to try to get you back (-1/10 dog) pic.twitter.com/5ENqsbkxV0 — SheRatesDogs (@SheRatesDogs) December 18, 2018 Do people not know what a left swipe on Tinder means? 25. India is a rich land of culture, multiple languages and even better food. Now, the government is trying its best to ensure that every sort of tourism and every cultural aspect of this melting pot of our rich history is glorified and promoted. So, as per the latest plan of schemes, the government wants to focus on the development and the promotion of the beautiful Urdu language in India, and to do this, it is tapping into the power of Bollywood with SRK, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif being considered to do the needful promotion. © Instagram The decision is being steered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development's autonomous body National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) but the people of the nation are divided over it. A lot of people are opposing this idea, trashing it and ridiculing the actors, claiming that having Salman and Katrina promote Urdu is like ensuring it dies a natural death. Katrina Kaif promoting Urdu! This has to be the biggest joke of 2019 https://t.co/xVLO9S2oFa — Iqbal Grewal (@IqbalGrewal1) March 18, 2019 Didn't know Katrina Kaif spoke Urdu,, let alone promote it... https://t.co/b1cwc4gfJd — shantanudutta (@shantanudutta) March 18, 2019 Now, the problem with trolling is that the target here are the actors who have not given a final word, made no announcement or even endorsed this idea on their own personal social media accounts. Sure, we are all entitled to have an opinion and this is a fair point that just by the virtue of being a Bollywood actor, it doesn't mean that they can actually promote a language, which they probably don't even speak themselves. However, trolling them to be the choice of a decision-making body is actually silly. While various memes and jokes are being generated on social media, there have been some sensible internet consumers who have tried to understand that a Katrina Kaif or a Salman Khan is not a problem , but maybe the people choosing them are making a weird decision, which is not suitable for Urdu lovers across the nation. © Instagram Some people have very respectfully suggested the name of Javed Akhtar and even Salim Khan (Salman's father) to be the endorsers and that makes perfect sense. So the next time one decides to troll, maybe it will be a good idea to think twice before doing it?
