  4. Jeff Bezos has it all - and that is a sentence that just makes sense in every way. He in fact even has things that money can't buy - like good health and a jacked physique. Remember when the internet went into a tizzy when pictures of his buff physique first materialized? View this post on InstagramAnyway, let's jump to the main topic here. Jeff apparently has a special breakfast that he immensely enjoys, and it frankly is one of the weirdest things one can have for breakfast. via GIPHY He has octopus for breakfast. Yes, you read it right. While one would wonder why exactly of all the things one would choose that sea creature for breakfast, Jeff Bezos reportedly has it for health reasons, as well as because he enjoys having it. Octopus is regarded as a delicacy which is high in protein, low in fat, and provides many essential vitamins and minerals you need for good health. via GIPHY However, according to some reports, the above may just be 'mythical' and there is another story associated with his philosophy of eating this particular breakfast that actually stems from an incident. via GIPHY Apparently, the reason for Bezos eating octopus is rooted in his business philosophy. "In a 2014 Dallas' D Magazine profile of Matt Rutledge, who sold his daily-deals e-commerce company, Woot, to Amazon for $110 million in 2010, Rutledge shared the story of his first meeting with Bezos after the deal. During the breakfast meeting, Rutledge asked Bezos why he bought the company. Bezos famously looked down at his plate and said, "You're the octopus that I'm having for breakfast ... When I look at the menu, you're the thing I don't understand, the thing I've never had. I must have the breakfast octopus", reported Business Insider. View this post on InstagramSince it's Jeff Bezos we're talking about, anything can be the truth as that man is shrouded in mystery, perhaps rightfully so. People can't seem to digest his 'having octopus as breakfast' story, and honestly we don't blame them. But again, it's Jeff Bezos. He does what he wants! View the full article

  6. Jeff Bezos is flying on a planned 11-minute voyage to the edge of space
  7. Jeff Bezos' private space company Blue Origin has been working hard to make space tourism possible for people. On Thursday, the company completed a successful flight test in the upgraded New Shepard vessel. This particular capsule was updated with a bunch of safety and comfort updates for its latest flight. According to a new report, it looks like the capsule is now ready to fly with a full crew as early as April this year. This is exciting news for people who have been actively keeping tabs on space tourism. © Blue Origin Jeff Bezos, by the way, isn't the only billionaire playing in this field. Elon Musk is already ahead in this billionaire space race with SpaceX. Richard Branson is also pushing ahead with Virgin Orbit and it'll be interesting to see how the company takes it forward. Space tourism, as interesting as it sounds, is only going to be catering to a handful of elites, at least initially. It'll be expensive and only time will tell exactly how accessible it is for common people. Naturally, once more and more players enter this space, it'll become a lot more accessible and affordable. Guess we'll just wait for now. We'll be keeping an eye on Blue Origin's space journey to see how it unfolds, so be sure to stay tuned for more updates. Source: NBCNews View the full article
