Anticipating a brilliant start to the World Test Championship final, the Indian cricket fans woke up early on Friday only to receive sad news about the rain gods taking full control of the Southampton sky since last evening and it has been raining incessantly ever since. Inconsistent English weather playing a spoilsport, there’s nothing new about it as it has been the norm in the country, but witnessing the same thing happen all over again, that too for a game of such magnitude, Indian fans were left even more infuriated. © Instagram/Virat Kohli The supporters were not happy with the fact that the ICC didn’t do their homework and check the weather forecast, before deciding on shifting the match from the iconic Lord’s to a lesser-known venue like the Ageas Bowl. With forecasts predicting some degree of showers in the coming days, it has come as a huge disappointment for millions of fans who were waiting for this WTC cycle to come to fruition with this summit clash. So, as soon as BCCI secretary Jay Shah posted a message on Twitter lauding Team India’s “steely determination” and wishing Virat Kohli and his men for overcoming all sorts of challenges and scaling new heights in the last two years, the fans, instead of echoing the same sentiment, used the opportunity to vent out their anger. Two years of tremendous hard work, dedication, steely determination and sacrifices have taken #TeamIndia to the final of the @ICC WTC. Wishing the team, the very best for the Ultimate Test! 🇮🇳 #WTC21 @BCCI — Jay Shah (@JayShah) June 18, 2021 “Two years of tremendous hard work, dedication, steely determination and sacrifices have taken #TeamIndia to the final of the @ICC WTC. Wishing the team, the very best for the Ultimate Test! #WTC21 @BCCI,” Jay Shah wrote on Twitter. On a normal day, Shah would have got hundreds of similar replies on his post, but with the clouds of uncertainty looming large over the much-anticipated clash, fans were in no mood to reciprocate the same emotions. "This is not just good cricket over the last seven, eight months, this is hard work and toil for the last four, five years." Hear what @imVkohli and Kane Williamson have to say ahead of leading their teams out in the #WTC21 Final #INDvNZ pic.twitter.com/62F3PNsqcH — ICC (@ICC) June 18, 2021 All he got was some bitter reactions from furious fans and amidst all sorts of requests, a user even urged him to make ‘use of his contacts’ to shift the venue so that they could watch the match in peace. "We've been on a quest for excellence for a while now, and we will continue to be on that path regardless of this game" Hear what @imVkohli has to say as the start of the #WTC21 Final draws closer 🇮🇳#INDvNZ pic.twitter.com/XJs9WEWUqT — ICC (@ICC) June 18, 2021Amidst all this, the only wise thing the ICC has done, so far, is having a reserve day in place to make up for the time lost on the first five days, but for that to kick in there are certain conditions. At this moment, we can only hope and pray that the rain gods show some mercy on millions of cricket lovers across the globe and take a back seat so that they can enjoy the first-ever World Test Championship final between two of the best Test sides in the world. The roaring success of Bobby Deol starrer Aashram, which hit our screens in August this year, took many a naysayer by surprise. The show wrapped the audience around its deviously engrossing saga of faith, power and sensuality in the name of blind faith towards ‘spiritual leaders’ who claim to change lives. © MX Player Given the strong buzz the show created and the great popularity of the show, its concept as well as execution, the makers of Aashram are now all ready to make a comeback with Aashram: Chapter 2 - The Dark Side. Check out the trailer of Aashram: Chapter 2 before we give you more details. All set to return to our screens in November, the second edition of the show will see Baba Nirala return as the uncrowned king of his own kingdom. With his sole ambition to further his personal agenda and gain a free reign in the name of being ‘God’s messenger’, the audience will now come face to face with Baba Nirala’s dark side, one that’s in total contrast to his charming avatar in Season 1. © MX Player “Babaji’s insatiable greed for power, money and lust sees him use the façade of the ashram to conduct illegal activities, trading the trust of his vulnerable followers to grow his own political clout, smuggling drugs and exploiting the women whom he promised solace and his protection,” the makers of Aashram: Chapter 2 said in a statement. © MX Player This sure has all of our attention and here’s what others have to say about this latest announcement: I am so excited to see #BobbyDeol in #ashramchapter2 — Parvinder (@zparvinder) October 29, 2020Can't wait to watch #AashramChapter2 Babaji ki Jay ho..
