Deepika Padukone sports casual look when out for dubbing session

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone spotted after a dubbing session on Wednesday -
After spending three days in hard quarantine in India, being in a 10-hour flight to South Africa and undergoing yet another day of hard quarantining in their report, the Men in Blue spent a day getting used to the raised elevation level of Johannesburg, shook off the jet lag and do some sort of physical activity to get rid of the fatigue. How did #TeamIndia recharge their batteries ahead of their first training session in Jo'Burg? On your marks, get set & Footvolley! #SAvIND pic.twitter.com/dIyn8y1wtz — BCCI (@BCCI) December 18, 2021 Now, unless you are living under a rock, you would have to know that Ravichandran Ashwin remains one of the most competitive cricketers to be playing the game for the Indian squad. He is well known to show aggression on the field, challenge himself to do better as an athlete, become more versatile and simply commit to whatever it takes to win a match. What you might not know is that the former captain of the Indian cricket team and the current head coach, Rahul Dravid continues to match Ashwin’s level of competitiveness even at the age of 48 and went toe-to-toe with the Chennai-born superstar in arguing over certain technicalities of a casual game of footvolley during Team India’s soft-training day in South Africa. View this post on Instagram In the video shared by the BCCI Twitter handle, Dravid seems to be all charged up and giving cricketers over 10-20 years younger than him a run for their money while kicking a ball over the net in the game of footvolley. However, one of the points earned by Dravid did not sit well with Ashwin ‘Anna’ who immediately started arguing with the cameraperson, his own teammates and the rival team while taking an exception to Dravid’s kick. View this post on Instagram With a smile on his face, Dravid also looked around the area, trying to justify his kick and that the way he won the point was completely legal and there was no way that he was going to settle by not winning that point. First of all, it is rather commendable to see the head coach actively taking part in a team-building activity and it was very evident by the way Virat Kohli was reacting, that everyone was loving Dravid being there. Secondly, the fact that Dravid was arguing for a point that means absolutely nothing, only proves that despite being in a coaching spot for so many years, he continues to be a competitor at heart. The fans also saw the competitiveness in Ashwin and Dravid’s actions clearly and even though it was not a serious competition, it allowed them to appreciate having the two legends of the game on their side. When was the last time you saw an Indian coach equally participating in all the practice sessions with players? May be only Kirsten? https://t.co/k7N3PCwuJo — Subhajit (@subhajit_mshra) December 18, 2021Dravid's kick tells you how competitive he is even now https://t.co/vAVoKWbnBA — Navleen Kaur (@NavleenSpeaks) December 18, 2021Ash here also getting into feuds https://t.co/akyi1MY5LW — Deeksha (@Deeksha45015326) December 18, 2021Dravid is still so competitive https://t.co/fAPelFC55U — 𝙨𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙮𝙖 (@jaanekyabaathai) December 18, 2021Drvaid sahab is still fitter than Rohit and Pant. I wonder what's happening with pant, he is looking fatter and fatter after every series! I hope team assesses his fitness before it goes out of hand! https://t.co/qfuuKzPfDY — ayaan. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Decision Review System (DRS) don’t go hand in hand, at least that’s what stats suggest. His predecessor MS Dhoni was arguably the best exponent of the DRS. He was so good that many experts and fans began referring to the technology as ‘Dhoni Review System’. However, unlike Dhoni, Kohli’s record with DRS is abysmal, to say the least. Being a wicketkeeper certainly worked to Dhoni’s advantage as he was in the best position to judge the line of the ball and make a call accordingly, whereas Kohli doesn’t have that luxury and he had to rely on inputs given by the wicketkeeper, in most cases. © Reuters Also, what worked in Dhoni’s favour was that he never gave in to bowler’s demands that easily like Kohli does. Dhoni understood the importance of DRS and how it can impact the game, hence always used it wisely. Kohli’s casual approach once again cost India two DRS on Day 2 of the second Test against England at Lord’s. Mohammed Siraj made two huge leg-before-wicket appeals against England skipper Joe Root in two successive overs which were turned down by the on-field umpire. Mohammad Siraj convinced Virat Kohli to take the review of Joe Root, but Rishabh Pant was denying. #IndvsEngpic.twitter.com/4XCXsz8prI — Sanjay (@Iamsanjayvg) August 13, 2021 Siraj turns up to his skipper and convinces him to take the DRS on both occasions and India end up losing two out of their three reviews inside 23 overs. What irked fans the most was the fact that having lost one DRS an over before, Kohli went upstairs ignoring Pant’s advice, who tried his best to stop him till the very last moment. This is what cricket has become for Virat Kohli. A joke. — The Irish (@TheIndi96354629) August 13, 2021Very very poor from from Kohli. Just for fun he took that review. He was laughing and to satisfy siraj he took that review. — IamAonu (@TheAnuragNag) August 13, 2021How can the captain be so casual about the review! Might be the diff between winning & losing — Saurabh Bhandari / सौरभ भण्डारी (@sigmaiotapi) August 13, 20211st review was ok It happens But to lose the 2nd one in same fashion after losing the 1st one few moments ago Virat has to be more strong about these decisions and say no Shocking — Rakesh kumar Singh राकेश कुमार सिंह (@Rakeshk72798087) August 13, 2021Ghatiya captaincy , not asking for opinion from keeper . — Clairvoyant (@Anachronist26) August 13, 2021Indian team joking away with DRS..not even close to umpires call... Horrible reviews — CricFreak (@ArpitAgarwaI) August 13, 2021Pure Desperation for a wicket! No usage of Brains whatsoever — Himanshu (@himanshu_jain12) August 13, 2021 Like any bowler, Siraj also has a habit of making a huge appeal to persuade the umpire but Kohli should have known that no bowler will stop you from going for the review because for them umpires are always wrong. The way Kohli surrendered to Siraj’s request and challenged the on-field decision with a tinge of smile on his face despite Pant almost pleading him not to, pissed off the fans. On top of that, the way he said a few words to the wicketkeeper, perhaps suggesting that he was not convincing enough, made fans lose their temper even more. © Reuters After showing great maturity in his batting and wicket-keeping, Pant has started making decisions from behind the stumps when it comes to DRS. Take for example the previous Test match in Nottingham where he forced Kohli into taking a review for caught behind chance and India ended up getting a wicket. It doesn’t mean that he’ll always be right but it definitely shows that he is improving with each game, and it would be in the team's best interest if Kohli started acknowledging it. The Ace Attorney series is part comedy, part suspenseful and part visual novel for players who want to sit back, relax and play a game that doesn’t require you to mash buttons. While the Great Ace Attorney Chronicle does tick most of the boxes I’ve mentioned, it’s more of a serious take on the series set in the past. © Capcom The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is set in the Japanese Meiji period or the Victorian Period for the Western world where you play as Ryunosuke Naruhodo, an ancestor of the series’ main protagonist Phoenix Wright (Ryuichi Naruhodo). The game takes history quite seriously and tells stories that are true to the period which wasn’t something I was expected. In fact, I expected the game to be localised for more western tastes but I love the fact The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles celebrates its Japanese heritage, language and culture. It may feel a bit jarring at first however since I know a bit about Japan; I felt right at home. There were some occasions where I felt out of place as it requires a bit of knowledge about the Japanese language which I somewhat solved by Googling things. © Capcom However, the game is also is a bit weird as it also offers a mix of British Victorian characters that I might say have been portrayed well. For starters, the British characters are quite cynical and didn’t shy away from showcasing their racist characteristics either. For example, Japanese characters in the game are often not trusted by white British Jury members simply because they look different. There’s even a prosecutor who keeps hurling slurs at them only because of how they look. © Capcom It made me feel a bit uncomfortable however the game does deal with these social issues with grace. To be honest, I’m surprised that Capcom even went this route especially since the series is not known for making social commentaries. It was a bold move to include racist nuances in characters from a time when racism was normal. While the game does an excellent job at dealing with serious problems, it does an equally good job at its presentation, character build-up and animations. Backgrounds are extensively detailed and some of the animations surpasses every game that has been released in the series before. Each character also has unique dialogues and their own personas. Capcom’s attention to detail is at great display here especially when you start noticing the different nuances of each character you come across. © Capcom The game also pays homage to Sherlock Holmes as several characters from the detective series make an appearance. As an attorney, you also have to investigate cases like a detective where you will be searching for clues and interrogating witnesses. I do have to point out that you will need to do a lot of text reading and almost all of it is important. You will be required to pull up evidence from your searches and interviews when in court so you can’t really glance over these parts. Having said that, the payoff here is the great storytelling where some cases are hilarious in true Ace Attorney fashion while some are heart-wrenching. If you’ve ever seen Suits or any Court Drama TV series, you will get the same sensation here when you blow a case wide open after presenting damning pieces of evidence or contradicting testimonies. © Capcom The game is largely a visual novel; however, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles lets you play any case in any order. There are 10 cases to solve in total however if you just want to experience the game as a visual novel, you can do that too. There’s a new story mode where the game is played by the AI automatically. It will automatically run through the dialogue text and even choose the right evidence for you. Completing the 10 cases will last you 40 hours which is quite a bit of content considering this is more like a visual novel. I often found myself relaxed while playing The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles once I was done playing Persona 5 Royal for the day. I played this game on the PlayStation 5 where the game looked astoundingly beautiful. However, I do think this game will be best experienced on a handheld device i.e. a Nintendo Switch so that you can play it while laying in bed or on an aeroplane. The Final Say The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is probably the best game in the series so far that offers some incredible twists, hilarious moments and loveable characters. It’s a more serious game than its predecessors which in my opinion should be the way forward for the series. With over 40 hours worth of content in 10 scintillating cases, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is perfect for some laidback gaming. View the full article

After making his captaincy debut, Shikhar Dhawan is already being compared to the mainstream Indian cricket skipper Virat Kohli when talking about the two cricketers’ ability to lead a squad. Dhawan has captained in only one freaking match. Just one. He did well and these people have already started badmouthing virat kohli's captaincy. Unreal agenda man. pic.twitter.com/bsGBgint0g — Akshay (@theakshay18) July 19, 2021 I think India is losing some best captaincy material like Dhawan, Rohit, earlier Gambhir, Raina in the era of great captains like Dhoni and Kohli — Divanshu Rawat (@rawat_divanshu) July 18, 2021 Dhawan Captaincy >>> Kohli Captaincy #SLvIND #INDvSL #INDvsSL — MSR (@itz_chillax) July 18, 2021 We’ve got to agree that it was a substantial victory for Dhawan to start his journey as the leader of the locker room. After wrapping up the hosts for a mere 262-run total in the first half of the first ODI, the Indian batsmen chose aggression over subtlety and ended the match with 80 deliveries and seven wickets to spare. The young batters like Prithvi Shaw and Ishan Kishan looked completely comfortable and were allowed to play their aggressive games from the beginning (as both opened their respective innings with boundaries) and went on to score big runs in very few deliveries. View this post on Instagram Additionally, the Indian bowlers, especially the spinners got to create magic on the field and the much-anticipated return of Kul-Cha (Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal) to the roster after two whole years was met with a lot of success. Not only did Dhawan read the pitch nicely, he also brought in the spinners at the right time to scalp five wickets when the Men in Blue needed it the most. Individually also, Dhawan looked in absolute control. While playing second-fiddle to Shaw and Kishan initially, the southpaw decided to take charge and finish the match with his own two hands as he struck an unbeaten 86 while taking the final run and bringing home the first win of the series. View this post on Instagram On the other hand, Virat Kohli, the captain of the A-String of the Indian cricket team, suffered a massive loss when his team was crushed by the New Zealand cricketers in the final of the World Test Championship. He has been questioned by the critics for getting the team selection wrong for the WTC final (playing Ravindra Jadeja over Shardul Thakur), his name has come up more than once in backstage politics, he’s being blamed for trying to make Cheteshwar Pujara look like a scapegoat and he hasn’t been the best version of himself as a batsman for a while now. Is Shikhar Dhawan a better captain than Virat Kohli? Absolutely not. It's quite funny that some fans, after yesterday's match saying Dhawan's leadership >>> Rohit and Kohli. These people are never satisfied. Plastic Kirket experts imo. — Priscilla 🇮🇳 (@priscicktgirl) July 19, 2021 The biggest factor while comparing the two and their performances as skippers in the very limited sample size we have at the moment has to be the competition they faced. In the latest contest, Kohli went against the best Test side in the world at the moment, who had the advantage of getting accustomed to the England weather way before the Indian players did. Not to forget the extremely unforgiving conditions during the final that kept changing the required conditions on the pitch and the ground, rendering Indian spinners almost useless by the end. Yes, he has been struggling to put on a show with the bat but remains one of the top-5 batsmen in Tests, second in ODIs and fifth in T20Is which shows that he’s still a world class athlete. View this post on Instagram Whereas, Dhawan faced a Sri Lankan team with their marquee players suspended after being found to be flouting the COVID-19 protocols in the United Kingdom. Also, the spin-friendly Asian pitches also played a huge part in bringing success to Chahal and Yadav. Shikhar Dhawan did exceedingly well to lead a young team to a confident and one-sided victory and there is no second-guessing that. However, to compare with someone like Virat Kohli, even in his current state is outrageous and not even Dhawan would want this to happen. View the full article
