  1. While we've been waiting for winter in 'Game of Thrones', summer has pretty much reached a melting point at home. It's at a stage where we only step out in the sweltering heat for emergencies. And unfortunately, one of those emergencies includes going to work and being able to pay our bills. Stepping out in the sun, especially in your formal attire, is not an easy task. You don't want sweat patches on your shirt before you reach work or the cheap material of your shirt to create a stench no amount of deodorant would be able to help. That's where you need to play smart and create a new summer wardrobe of breathable fabrics like cotton and linen. To help you do just that, we've picked the must-haves from this year's Summer Collection at Arvind Stores. Add These Ready To Wear Light-Weight Shirts To Your Closet Made of cotton-viscose, these shirts are essential to your summer survival kit. Not only are the fabrics breathable, they also give you the confidence you need to make an impression at work. Available in radiant hues and textures, there are plenty of options to choose from. Arvind Stores Ditch The Denim For Chinos Don't even think about stepping out in your denim. Trust me, you'd want to go for the light-weight and super comfortable chinos instead. Not only are these dapper pants perfect for a brunch setting, but they also look good as formal wear. If you want to take it a notch higher, you can add their structured blazer (meant for the summer) to the look. Suit Up Without A Sweat If you want to make a solid impression this appraisal season or have to attend a wedding, there are plenty of summer suit options to choose from. You can either go for the Urban Solace suit that features a range of suits created from a blend of cotton and Tencel or opt for their Suit with Stretch options. Arvind's Suit with Stretch allows maximum motion and flexibility with breathable fabrics and minimal discomfort. Another option is their Dobby Suit collection. Made up of summer pastel shades and geometric patterns and texture, the Dobby Suit is something that can never go wrong. The Arvind Stores SS 19' collection is as versatile as it is comfortable. For those you who haven't checked it out yet, let me warn you that you'll never go back to your basics. They not only have summer ready-to-wear looks in every print and pattern, but also offer made-to-measure outfits. With their soft and skin-friendly fabrics, you can finally #LiveFree this summer.

  4. Growing up as kids, we all had our obsession with some or the other thing, right? For some, say, it's video games, while for others it could have been something as small a thing as collecting stamps. Well, for a Michigan man dubbed Charlie, who's currently suing his parents, it's porn. Why is Charlie suing his parents? Well, it's because they got rid of his 'valuable' porn collection which he estimates was worth $29,000 (roughly over Rs. 20 Lakhs). © Reuters Yes, a 40-year old man has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Michigan against his parents who threw out 12 boxes filled with his porn videos and magazines. According to FOX 17, it all started when Charlie moved out of his parent's house in Grand Haven after going through a divorce. He says that when he moved out, his parents delivered his things to his new home in Indiana, except for the 12 boxes of pornographic films and magazines. Upon confronting, his parents agreed that they dumped the porn, which included titles such as 'Frisky Business' and 'Big Bad Grannys'. He was clearly pissed about his collection getting destroyed. He called the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office to file a police report, estimating the collection at $28,940. © Unsplash The prosecutors are said to have decided against filing charges against his parents. however, Charlie is still suing his parents for $86,822 in damages. Charlie says some of the videos are extremely valuable because they aren't being distributed anymore.
  5. It's a dream for all gamers to own as many games as possible, so that you'd never run out of games to play. But there's a fine line between collecting and hoarding, and apparently, a Texas man named Antonio Monteiro is lost in between. Last week, Antonio earned the Guinness World Record for having the largest video game collection in the world. How many does he own? 20,139 to be precise as of March 28. Yes, that's just insane. © Guinness World Records Monteiro has been collecting games since he was a child, and he apparently owns games for second to eighth generation consoles. Of course, he also owns 100-plus devices on which he plays all these games. Owning that many devices make sense considering the fact that he literally has huge walls stocked with games. You can check out the video here - The wall of games, as you can see, includes complete collections for consoles like Sony's PS2. the Nintendo Wii, Sega Dreamcast, and more. His first ever game was a copy of 'Golden Axe' for Sega Genesis, which his parents gave him as a gift. His favourite game, however, is 'Super Castlevania IV' for Nintendo SNES, and he calls it a masterpiece.
  6. At the Lotus Fashion Week 2019, on the second day, among other designers was a remarkable menswear collection called 'Meld' by Dhruv Vaish. © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing Inspired by modern industrial art, and keeping the masculine sensibility in account, the collection is a fusion of geometric prints, versatile textures and fabrics crafted in slick solids. Introducing fabrics like satin for men, alongside traditional works of cottons and wool. The shiny fabric has been juxtaposed with very earthy handloom cottons in contrasting hues of dark navy, purples, browns and vibrant yellows to put together a stellar outfit. © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing © Studio picsing The collection represents the constantly evolving definition of traditional menswear with a limited range of shapes and colours. Introducing a plethora of unconventional colours and a range of clothing like long coats, hybrids, double layered jackets, high-waisted pants, put together with space age sun glasses represents the on-the-go modern man in Dhruv Vaish's collection.
  7. The Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week just started at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, and Suket Dhir's collection was the highlight, when it comes to menswear. The collection was all about minimalistic layering silhouettes made out of delicate 'Jaamdani' weave, with a contemporary aesthetic. Here are 10 outfits from the collection that are giving us major fashion inspo, while teaching us a thing or two about layering. 1. This flowy, rustic white on white ensemble. © Studiopicsing 2.
