  1. Sunil Gavaskar, the former Indian captain and cricket analyst, believes that now that the captaincy is off his shoulders, Virat Kohli may be able to return to his greatest form with the bat and may go on a run-scoring rampage this season. Gavaskar believes that with the change in leadership at Royal Challengers Bangalore, the IPL might get to witness Virat Kohli from the 2016 season when he scored over 900 runs. The focus, though, will stay on Kohli when he plays exclusively as a player in RCB's opening match against Punjab Kings on Sunday at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Gavaskar stated on Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the IPL, that no one knows whether Kohli will be captain again at this time. When a player is freed of the captaincy, he might sometimes flourish since he isn't worried about the other ten players. View this post on Instagram When a player is a captain, he is also thinking about ten other players, and sometimes even other members of their squad, about their form or lack thereof, and about things that they are not doing well that, if done correctly, will benefit the team, feels Gavaskar. We might see Kohli again this season, as he did in 2016, when he scored around 1000 runs in the IPL, says the 72-year old veteran of the game. Kohli last captained the RCB in 2012, when he took over from New Zealander Daniel Vettori. View this post on Instagram And while it is incredible to see that a fellow legend of the game being so supportive of the prodigal Virat Kohli on his quest to once again find his form with the bat, not a lot of people were completely bought by the idea that the former skipper will simply shake off his bad form and return to his top-form with the flick of the wrist. 2016 ka 50 percent Kohli bhi dikh jaaye i will be more than happy — Cricket Fanatic (@Loyal_Cricket) March 27, 2022Thoda zyada hogaya sir , woah performance once in century type hai wapis nahi ho sakta — Thala dhobhi lover (@Cric_fanatic_) March 27, 2022Kuchh jyadi hi jyada ho gyaa — Diwakar¹⁸ (@diwakarkumar47) March 27, 2022Mental Hospital me koi admit kra do yrr pls — RAHUL (@SHIVAMS56954839) March 27, 2022Sunny Saab Pass me the joint — (@Viraaaaaaaaat) March 27, 2022The newly appointed RCB skipper Faf du Plessis and his squad are all set to take on Mayank Agarwal’s Punjab Kings with the hopes of getting a fiery start to the season. They ended up losing to Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets to bring their journey to sudden death. View the full article
  2. On Saturday, Wriddhiman Saha testified before the BCCI's three-member committee, saying he told them "everything" about the identity of the unnamed journalist who had allegedly "bullied" the wicketkeeper-batter for an interview. Later on the same day, journalist and talk show host, Boria Majumdar sent the cricket board a chronological statement. The latter accused the cricketer of "doctoring" images of WhatsApp chats in the letter. Majumdar shared an 8-minute 36-second long video from his official Twitter handle talking about his take on the story while also suggesting that his lawyers will soon be serving a defamation notice to Saha for all the trolling and stress his family and he had to go through because of Saha’s stunt for “public sympathy”. There are always two sides to a story. @Wriddhipops has doctored, tampered screenshots of my WhatsApp chats which have damaged my reputation and credibility. I have requested the @BCCI for a fair hearing. My lawyers are serving @Wriddhipops a defamation notice. Let truth prevail. pic.twitter.com/XBsiFVpskl — Boria Majumdar (@BoriaMajumdar) March 5, 2022 However, not a lot of people were convinced by the justification provided by the journalist and doubled down on the fact that he was in the wrong in the situation, regardless of whether or not Saha had “doctored” the screenshot before sharing it online. Here are three reasons why fans weren’t convinced by Boria Majumdar’s explanation of the ‘Wriddhiman Saha’ case: 1. The ‘Missed Call’ Justification © Twitter - Boria Majumdar Multiple times throughout the video, Majumdar compared screenshots of his conversation with Saha talking about how the missed call alert was only seen on Saha’s screenshots and not on his, suggesting that the cricketer had added fake details to his screenshot to support his narrative. However, on WhatsApp, the missed call alert is only seen on the receiver’s chat and not on that of the sender. The fact that Majumdar said that he had discussed this topic with his lawyers and not only of them were able to explain it to him did not sit well with the people who saw his video on Twitter. 2. Missed Call Timing © Twitter - Boria Majumdar Another point that Majumdar stressed heavily was that the missed call alert showed a timing of 7:30 PM while the chat before the call showed the timestamp of 10:19 PM, thereby further arguing that Saha had doctored the footage. However, the missed call happened on a different date which clearly shows on top of the alert that was blurred by Saha before sharing the screenshot and therefore the timing is different and makes sense. 3. Rushing Past The Threatening MessageAfter all of my contributions to Indian cricket..this is what I face from a so called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone. pic.twitter.com/woVyq1sOZX — Wriddhiman Saha (@Wriddhipops) February 19, 2022 In the video, Majumdar talks about how he had no intention of threatening Wriddiman Saha and that he wrote the last message to him out of frustration and anger after the cricketer decided against giving his colleague and him the interview that he had promised. Even if Saha had blurred the date, Majumdar’s messages that read “I will remember this” and “This isn't you should have done” were considered to be of threatening nature by the fans who felt that the journalist was wrong in writing such things to the cricketer. Having said all of those things, sending derogatory messages and texts to someone is still unjustified. The journalist will be investigated by the BCCI’s investigation committee, however, he has not been found guilty yet, and harassing his family members is absolutely unacceptable and the social media trolls who are quick to judge should quit immediately. 5. Day 4 of the second Test between India and England at Lord’s quickly became controversial after two of the cricketers from the hosting side were caught on camera doing something extremely dodgy which many consider to be a clear case of ball tampering. In the 35th over of India’s second innings of the match, which was being bowled by pacer Ollie Robinson, two of the English fielders could be seen kicking and stepping on the match ball with their spike shoes because picking it up and throwing it back to the bowler. What’s is this Ball Tampering Umpires and Refree Sleeping ?#IndvsEng #Balltempering @sachin_rt @cricketaakash @WasimJaffer14 @YUVSTRONG12 @imVkohli @BCCI @ICC @ECB_cricket pic.twitter.com/owOwOlkfiX — Prashant Rathore (@HonestPrashant) August 15, 2021 The video which was captured by the cameraman at the prestigious cricket ground shows one of the fielders directing the ball towards his teammate with his foot as the other stepped on it with sharp spikes at the bottom of his shoes. And while the viewers who were watching the unimaginable unfold right in front of their eyes were convinced that whatever was happening wasn’t right, England bowler Stuart Broad was continuously backing up his teammates while giving multiple explanations for the occurrence. My comments are- Woody tried to nut meg Burnsy by tapping the ball through his legs (a very common occurrence) & he missed and kicked the ball there by accident. Instead of screenshotting the pic, watch the video- quite plain & easy to see — Stuart Broad (@StuartBroad8) August 15, 2021 “My comments are- Woody tried to nut meg Burnsy by tapping the ball through his legs (a very common occurrence) & he missed and kicked the ball there by accident. Instead of screenshotting the pic, watch the video- quite plain & easy to see,” Broad wrote in a Twitter response to a fan who was watching the match and had asked the English cricketer for his comments. Exactly the same if it was hit into the stands. If it didn’t make a mark, why change it ?” Broad replied to another who had raised a valid point about the match referees and the umpires failing to step in and take control of the situation and probably replace it with an untampered ball, even if it was unintentional. Nonetheless, Broad’s justification for what had happened failed to reassure the fans of the Men in Blue who very openly expressed their dissent online: So that's how you try to pass the ball by pressing the spike against it!! Day 4 ended with India leading by 154 runs but having lost six wickets already. With Rishabh Pant on one end and Ishant Sharma on the other, the southpaw’s ability to play a patient innings will be tested on the final day of the match. View the full article
  6. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the director of Rang De Basanti, recently released his autobiography, The Stranger In The Mirror, which has several confessions by the director. Very recently, even R Madhavan spoke about his kiss with Soha Ali Khan in Rang De Basanti, which is also part of the book. The actor was downright terrified, thinking about Soha's brother, Saif Ali Khan, as they were once rivals in Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Apart from that, we recently also got to know that even Daniel Craig had auditioned for the film. © Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures For the role of Karan Singhania, Rakeysh mentioned that Aamir Khan personally approached Hrithik Roshan and tried to convince him. © Instagram/Hrithik Roshan The director spoke in detail about the challenges he went through while making Rang De Basanti, a cult classic and definitely one of the finest works of Rakeysh Omprakash. But when it came to looking for someone suitable for the role of Karan Singhania, Rakeysh found himself in a soup when several actors turned down the job. He said in his book that actors including Abhishek Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan were asked to essay the role. He wrote, "Every known actor kept declining the role to play Karan Singhania. I had first offered it to Farhan Akhtar. This was a time when he had never acted in a film before and was one of the most respected young directors. He was both surprised and amused. When I narrated it to Abhishek, he told me point-blank, 'I thought you are crazy but after hearing your narration I think you are completely nuts," © Instagram/Aamir Khan He further mentioned, "I requested Aamir to put in a word with Hrithik Roshan. Aamir even went to Hrithik's house. 'It's a good film—kar le' (do it). But it wasn't meant to be. Finally, Siddharth signed on the dotted line in January 2005, one month before the shoot. He had never done a Hindi film before. Bharathi had seen the Tamil film Boys, starring Siddharth, a couple of months before the shoot, and his energy and unique combination of innocence and naivety came through." © Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures He also said Karan's character blended well with Siddharth. Luckily, the senior actors agreed to do the smaller parts, including Kirron Kher, Mohan Agashe, Om Puri, Anupam Kher, K.K Raina etc. These actors knew their craft well and became a dependable unit, and that's how the movie was made. © Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures Interestingly, Rakeysh Omprakash wanted SRK to play the role of Flt Lt Ajay Rathod, the martyred pilot. He wanted him to be a part of the movie so badly that he flew to the US to convince him when SRK was shooting for Swades. But it didn't work out due to SRK's packed schedule. So, the role, eventually, went to R Madhavan. View the full article

  8. How do you picture your *** life in 2021? It used to be simpler when you met your partner. Butterflies in the stomach; adrenaline rush; a little rub-rub-rub under the table; long, long nights of phone *** did their job pretty well. Finally, leading you to a good night’s sleep. But the game has changed now. With time the list of pressures and expectations of spicing things up in the bedroom is getting longer. And anyone looking for sexual satisfaction must master it. But how do you do that? Are we adding more pressure to your list? No, not really. We’re taking off the pressure and keeping you on top of your game with the help of a science-backed fact. Giving you another reason to chug more cups of coffee per day. Why? Let’s break it down. Coffee Combats Erectile DysfunctionA study by the University of Texas Health Science Center suggested that men who drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day are less likely to face erectile dysfunction. But this benefit doesn’t extend to chain-chuggers. The number of coffees you drink in a day has an effect on your sugar intake. The participants who drank more than 3 cups of coffee a day had a weaker association with the report. Along with a caffeine fix, drinking coffee in the morning will give you a hit of antioxidants which can improve blood flow—an important function when it comes to ED. __ECOMPRODUCT__612__ Caffeine In It Boosts StaminaDo you consider *** a form of workout? I mean, much like running, cycling or swimming, it requires endurance, stamina, flexibility and strength to have really good ***. Scientists and many athletes agree that consuming caffeine before a workout enhances performance, improves focus and reduces fatigue. The same theory applies to ***. __ECOMPRODUCT__1629__ Its Aroma Kicks Away StressStress, anxiety and tiredness are the perfect ingredients for decreased libido and erectile dysfunction. But research suggests that the delicious aroma of coffee reduces stress. It is found that long periods of stress can change your body biologically resulting in a drop in testosterone levels—the key to *** hormone. So, less stress, better ***. __ECOMPRODUCT__1630__ Coffee Increases Sexual Desire This claim is up for discussion as there’s little evidence to prove coffee’s aphrodisiac properties. But the energy boost and above points make coffee a great pre-*** beverage. Unlike other caffeine sources like sodas or overly-sweetened coffee, your basic coffee actually makes you happy, a study suggests. And everybody finds happy people more attractive than someone who is always upset. __ECOMPRODUCT__1631__ Wakin’ Up To The Smell Of CoffeeAfter a night full of passion, love and admiration, waking up to sunlight filtering through the curtains and the smell of freshly brewed coffee will only permeate your partner’s senses. __ECOMPRODUCT__1632__ The BottomlineKeep in mind that when we say caffeine is good for your *** life, we don’t mean fizzy drinks, sodas and highly-sweetened versions of coffee. We are also not recommending more than 3 cups of coffee per day as that might affect your health adversely. But it surely is the drink of Olympians and its motive is to give you an energy boost. You might as well use your brew for good! Explore More View the full article
  9. The vice-captain of the Indian Test cricket team, Rohit Sharma has been criticised for lacking the patience to play a long and successful stint in Test cricket after the way he was dismissed in the first innings of the final Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. After the inexperienced Indian bowling attack did well to restrict the second half of the Australian batting lineup on Day 2 and stopped the bleeding of runs on 369, it was time for our openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill to hustle for a strong partnership. It took the mighty Pat Cummins only two balls! The dangerous Shubman Gill is gone! #AUSvIND pic.twitter.com/Jmnq6qEFHd — cricket.com.au (@cricketcomau) January 16, 2021 However, an outside edge off a Pat Cummins took away Gill’s wicket and the series debutant had to go back to the pavilion for a cheap 7-run outing. Sharma, on the other hand, looked like one of the best batsmen to play for Team India during the ongoing series at this time. Having scored 44 runs off 74 deliveries, the ‘Hitman’ already had six fours under his belt. Probably trying to get to the 50-run mark in a hurry, Sharma ended up walking down the field and swinging for the fences. Unfortunately, the bat did not connect well and the ball was caught by Mitchell Starc successfully. Nathan Lyon's 397th Test wicket seemed to come out of nowhere and the Aussies were pumped! #OhWhatAFeeling #AUSvIND | @Toyota_Aus pic.twitter.com/rIhl4ZjbTu — cricket.com.au (@cricketcomau) January 16, 2021 Unable to gauge what was going on in Sharma’s mind, former Indian captain and legend Sunil Gavaskar ended up articulating every Indian fan’s emotions while on commentary. "You've just hit a Boundary a couple of Deliveries earlier, why would you play that shot? You're (Rohit Sharma) a senior player, there's no excuse,Absolutely no excuse for this shot. An unnecessary wicket, an unnecessary wicket, gifted away. Totally unnecessary." - Sunil Gavaskar — CricketMAN2 (@man4_cricket) January 16, 2021“You've just hit a Boundary a couple of Deliveries earlier, why would you play that shot? You're (Rohit Sharma) a senior player, there's no excuse,Absolutely no excuse for this shot. An unnecessary wicket, an unnecessary wicket, gifted away. Totally unnecessary," he said. Now, with rain ending Day 2 on an early note, Sharma finally gave a justification for the attempted slog to the media. Rohit Sharma (in ANI) said "I like to put pressure on the bowler once I am in, that is my role in the team. The run-scoring has been slightly difficult so someone needs to hand up & put pressure on the bowlers. I just did not connect the ball I loved to, it was unfortunate". — Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) January 16, 2021 “I like to put pressure on the bowler once I am in, that is my role in the team. The run-scoring has been slightly difficult so someone needs to hand up & put pressure on the bowlers. I just did not connect the ball I loved to, it was unfortunate,” he told ANI. However, many Indian fans believe that Sharma was trying to play Test cricket like limited-overs cricket and were unconvinced with his reasoning. In other sense , he wants to say that he has been give the role of pinch hitter in test cricket, lol🤦‍♂️ — Hypocrite Not Anshuman (@AnshumaNot) January 16, 2021For putting pressure 6 rpo is more than enough, somebody tell him he isn't playing any LOI cricket, it is Test Cricket. — ```~_Saksham_~``` (@Its_SakshamR) January 16, 2021someone needs to tell him his job also is to stay longer in for india & score wth lesser risks-till virat come back atleast. he is t only senior who is able to score. this guy plays wth more responsibility in limited overs. here he is playing like with t responsibility of a pant. — naqshpa (@ntweet_55) January 16, 2021Shit excuse its not white ball and we were trailing runs so many — Starlord (@Star3600) January 16, 2021 View the full article

In fact, it looked like Sid Malhotra and thrifted the shoes. If this, indeed is the case, it proves that Sidharth Malhotra is embracing a sustainable lifestyle. © Viral Bhayani Online thrift stores have seen a rise in 2020. 11. Diwali is going to look very different this year. Just like the rest of the year, we're going to be celebrating Diwali from a safe distance this year. However, now that we're in Unlock 5, we're allowed to party in social bubbles as long as we're responsible and taking all the necessary precautions. Having said that, if you have a house party to go to this year, you definitely might want to switch things up considering, this is going to be one of the first parties to attend after months of staying at home. While we're certain that you're going to choose an ethnic or an indo-western outfit this Diwali, one rad trend that you could get behind this Diwali is the asymmetrical Kurta. We think that you should definitely dip your shoes in the trend this festive season. Even the likes of Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor have tried the asymmetrical kurta. Here's how you can ace the trend. 1. Like Ayushmann Khurrana, you could try a deconstructed version of an asymmetrical kurta.
