  1. Apple's 'Show Time' event was surprisingly packed with some great announcements. The highlight of the show, however, was the emotional moment towards the end when Tim Cook hugged Oprah Winfrey with tears in his eyes. via GIPHY Yes, Apple's star-studded show ended with Apple's signature “One last thing..” surprise, which was Oprah Winfrey. The megacelebrity took the stage at the end to announce two of her new documentaries including one called 'Toxic Labor', which deals with sexual harassment in the workplace. Her second documentary hasn't been named yet, but it looks like it will explore topics like mental health, addiction and more. The event brought together a rare collection of Hollywood stars like directors Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams, actress Jenifer Aniston, singer Sara Bareilles, and more. However, Oprah entered the stage in the end and literally stole the show. An unforgettable day. pic.twitter.com/7p3WXjwpgg — Tim Cook (@tim_cook) March 26, 2019 “There has never been a moment quite like this one,” she said. “We have this unique opportunity to rise to our best selves in how we use and choose to use both our technology and our humanity. That's why I have joined forces with Apple.” Once she was done addressing everyone, Tim Cook, who was visibly emotional, entered the stage and hugged Oprah. “Thank you, I will never forget this”, he said. In addition to the shows, Winfrey also noted that she'll be bringing her book club to Apple's streaming service. The new Apple TV Plus service will be home to Apple's original shows and is all set to take on the likes of Netflix, Prime Video, etc. starting this fall.
  2. Apple CEO Tim Cook was trending on social media yesterday after the US president Donald Trump referred to him incorrectly as "Tim Apple" during an American Policy Advisory Board meeting. Although Tim kept himself away from the whole fiasco, for the most part, he did end up changing his Twitter display name to include an Apple logo. His name on Twitter now reads 'Tim Apple' instead of 'Tim Cook'. Looks like the Apple CEO is embracing his new nickname. Well technically, Tim has just added an Apple computer emoji at the end of his name. And since it's not a Unicode-approved emoji, it'll only be visible on Apple devices. If you are looking at his profile on a Windows computer or an Android phone, you'll either see a blocked-out square or just a random symbol. © Twitter Here's the clip in case you missed it yesterday - Trump just called Apple CEO Tim Cook “Tim Apple” pic.twitter.com/gTHHtjWvc9 — Sean O'Kane (@sokane1) March 6, 2019 The clip has been watched over 10 million times and has over 200,000 favourites since it was posted on the micro-blogging site.
  3. The word 'lazy' can usually never be taken as a compliment. But in this particular case, we are going to help you own this term. How do you ask? You know all the times you have skipped breakfast because you woke up late and are running late for work? But you keep thinking it wouldn't be the case if only cooking was quick and easy? Well, these simple recipes we've got here for you will prove to be a 'Godsend'. Actually, 'Chef-Vikas-Khanna-send'. We loved his quick and easy-to-do recipes in Quaker's Kitchen, Khanna and Konversations series. These fuss-free favourites, from basic overnight oats to yummy pizza paranthas, have been inspired from the recipes whipped up by Chef Vikas. 1. Cherry Vanilla Overnight Oats Healthy Idea Space Add half a cup of oats to your container of choice and pour in a quarter cup of low-fat milk. Place it in the fridge and enjoy in the morning or a few hours later! 2. Oats Dosa Recipes From Pins Heat your pan and add one dry red chilli and a half teaspoon of brown mustard seeds. When it crackles, add sliced onions, curry leaves, and green chillies. Cook this on low heat till the onions turn soft. Add salt as per taste, red chilli powder, sambar powder, and potatoes. Stir-fry for two to three minutes and keep aside. Mix a cup of oats powder, a quarter of urad dal powder and salt with water in a vessel to get thin pouring batter. Keep this aside till it becomes slightly thick. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of batter on low flame spreading it from inside to get a round shape. When the edges turn brown, put some filling in the centre and fold over. Remove and enjoy your dosa with chutney. 3. Spanish Omelette My Fitness Pal Beat 4 egg white, a cup of oats, salt, pepper & two tablespoons of milk in a bowl. On low flame, pour half of the egg mixture and roll to cover the bottom of a non-stick pan. Sprinkle finely sliced capsicum, onion, tomato & mushrooms on top and press gently. Cover the pan and cook for two minutes on low heat till the vegetables get steamed. Turn the side and cook till the omelette is lightly golden. Make the other omelette with the remaining egg mixture. If you're an Insta-food blogger, plate the vegetable side up or cut into wedges, and put it hot with toasted bread. 4. Oats Masala Pancakes My Fitness Pal Grind a cup of oats in a mixer. Mix three tablespoons of gram flour, one and a half cup of water and a few dry fenugreek leaves in a bowl. Add finely chopped onions, tomatoes and deseeded green chillies in the batter and mix. Turn after two minutes, when the edges get slightly brown. Cook the other side. Eat hot with mint chutney. 5.
