The coronavirus pandemic made most of us go through a hard time but it also taught us to help others as much as we can. Recently, a video of an elderly man crying as he is not able to sell enough food and earn money had gone viral on social media. However, people on social media were kind enough to do something about it and the Dhaba was later flooded with customers. Now, actor Aparshakti Khurana is the latest one to visit the ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. He posted a picture of himself at the dhaba on Instagram along with baba and YouTube blogger Gaurav Wasan, who had initially showcased the plight of the elderly couple running the dhaba. He took to Instagram saying, “Promised Gaurav Wasan that we would have kuchh at Baba Ka Dhabha when I’ll be in Delhi and we finally did! While telling this, he said, “It’s no big deal that I went there and I ate and took a picture. The bigger deal is what those two boys are doing. They are wholeheartedly dedicating time to this couple at the dhaba, helping them with the work because the place is full from morning to night. And this couple does not want charity. They want to work and earn. Imagine how hard the man must have worked for 60-70 years in his life to finally get some recognition for his craft at 80. They don’t want donations. They just want people to come and eat at their joint and pay them for their hard work. Clicked by their own grandson who works as a photographer, the pictures scream of love, companionship and good fun as the couple pose for the camera. They may have gotten married in 1962, but we are glad they have their wedding pictures in 2020.
