  1. It’s that time of the year again fellas when most of us eagerly wait for - what? Yes, Diwali bonus! Diwali - the festival of lights - is a time for celebration, card parties, good food, sweets... and of course a bonus. Since it is believed that Goddess Lakshmi visits homes on this auspicious day - we kinda expect that quite literally, don’t we? © BankerNorbert However, this year, things are not the same - thanks to COVID-19! *sob* The coronavirus global health scare has been unprecedented, and many people, unfortunately, got laid off or didn’t even get their appraisal. And not to forget that most of us are still dealing with the severe Delhi smog (as usual) and Diwali ki safai. But no matter what, the virtual world never ceases to entertain us. From “Abey, Diwali bonus kab milega?” to being envious of government employees right now, people have flooded social media with hilarious jokes and memes. Since we are neither getting the bonus nor the appraisal, let’s at least laugh out loud with these super hilarious memes on Diwali: While doing #Diwali Safai., Me: pic.twitter.com/IBuDZ6NlNJ — ∱∪ℕκγβαβα (@nillkool9) November 9, 2020#Diwali exists Le Girls : pic.twitter.com/nVrQjpVPpm — 🥀Ankit🥀 (@AnkitdDreamer) November 3, 2020That time of the year is here 🤧 #pollution #covid19 #fireworksban #EcoFriendlyIndia #diwali pic.twitter.com/b3MOl2KwWn — Punya (@Punya_in) November 8, 2020Johny Johny- yes Papa Private Job- Yes Papa BP Sugar- High Papa Diwali Bonus- Joke Papa Monthly Pay- Low Papa Weekly Off- Ha ha ha — Priya Singh 12K (@Humorcoming) October 6, 2016Friends & Relatives: Govt employees got Diwali Bonus. 2. If you enjoy playing video games and have played a lot of single-player titles, then you probably already know what we're about to talk about. Some of the video games that I've played had such an emotional ending that they're better than most of the movies I've watched. Anyway, we're not trying to draw any direct comparisons here, but here's a list of games which we think had more emotional endings than movies and they're worth playing at least once. Life Is Strange Life Is Strange offers the kind of narrative journey that a few video games or even movies can match. It shows one of those video games that tells a compelling story and will keep your interest. I am obviously not going to spoil the game by talking about the ending, but all three installments (including the DLC) are great. The second installment, in particular, has multiple endings, and they all are quite emotional. The Last Of Us The Last Of Us is one of those games that'll stay with me for a very long time. For a game that's based on a post-apocalyptic world, The Last Of Us tells a very emotional story and weaves a great relationship between the two lead characters in the game, Joel and Ellie. You'll get so attached to the characters and the story, that it'll be difficult to let go of it once the story ends. Luckily, the sequel is coming out next month. The Walking Dead Telltale games know how to narrate a good story and The Walking Dead is a really good example. This is a game that spans across a few episodic seasons and collectively they all deliver a heart-wrenching story that's worth playing for. The game takes place in the popular comic and AMC TV series universe and you may even see a familiar face there, so be sure to check it out. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is a very important installment in the series because it marks the end of Nathan Drake's adventures in the game. You already know what they mean, right? Nathan Drake is one of those characters that you'll get attached to, especially if you play all the titles in the franchise one after the other. The final cutscene of the game pulled all the heartstrings for me and I was really sad to put down my controller. Red Dead Redemption 2 The Red Dead Redemption 2 narrates a story that's based around romance, redemption, revenge, and more. It's about living a character and making him the person you want to be with your choices. The story has you rooting for the protagonist Arthur Morgan, and it's all about helping the man find the peaceful life he desires while keeping all the relations in one piece. View the full article
  3. Finally, everyone's prayers have been answered, thekas will finally open, but conditions apply, of course Ever since the lockdown began, there was just one thing literally everyone could agree on - daaru chahiye - and people just wanted a chance to stock up on alcohol to get through the lockdown. Unfortunately, alcohol just wasn't considered essential enough, but now, things are changing All the people in the green and orange zones are the lucky ones who can actually go and buy alcohol now while those in orange and red zones cry together. As the lockdown has been extended for another two weeks from May 4th, liquor and paan shops in green and orange zones will be allowed to operate in a few areas and obviously, every social distancing norm would be followed. Liquor stores & paan shops will be allowed to function in green zones while ensuring minimum six feet distance (2 gaz ki doori) from each other & ensuring that not more 5 persons are present at one time at the shop: MHA on the extension of #lockdown for two weeks from May 4 â ANI (@ANI) May 1, 2020 While it seems like a blessing for people who have desperately been waiting, I really hope this doesn't turn a green zone into red. Let's just hope people are smart enough to maintain distance, even while drunk. It's important. âhey siri, where is the nearest green zone?â https://t.co/qDPdgrMkmK â kinda joey (@Sahilarioussss) May 1, 2020 I can see it happening. 4. Coronavirus is spreading like wildfire and has already claimed the lives of hundreds of people. Chinese doctors and nurses are working selflessly to treat all the patients and save as many lives as they can. But, that would mean that they themselves would have to stay away from their loved ones to keep them safe. That's why a video of a nurse treating Coronavirus patients talking to her crying daughter is going around, it's just that emotional and heartbreaking. In the video, the nurse is giving her young daughter an 'air hug' since she actually can't give her a proper one, and tells her that she is 'fighting monsters'. 5. When a bride in Pakistan wore tomatoes instead of jewellery at her wedding, desi people were having a field day cracking jokes and laughing on them. Today, all those people are crying in the middle of a vegetable market, after hearing the price of onions. The recent hike in the price of onions is making people cry more than peeling or chopping them ever did. There was a time when people joked about selling their kidneys for an iPhone, now they are willing to sell it to buy 1 kg of onions. © Reuters In case you didn't know, the price of onions have already crossed the century mark in some states and we don't think the prices are going to drop any time soon. Onions are one of the staple vegetables, which we can't really imagine our lives without. In fact, this price hike has hit people so hard, that recently in Gujarat a thief stole onions worth Rs 25,000 and left everything else untouched. But, we're living in the era of social media. With great sadness comes greater memes that further pinch us right where it hurts the most. Since the prices aren't going down soon, people decided to vent out their frustration on social media through these memes and it actually comes as a respite to know that y'all are not crying alone. #Onion120 time to convert to jainism — Vishambhar Kaushal (@VishKaushal22) November 27, 2019 Exchange Offer !!!#iPhone #OnionCrisis ð¾ðð pic.twitter.com/HmFHPd3Ffr — Engineer'sðChoice ð (@sumansekhar1) November 29, 2019 #Onion120 #OnionPrice @sambitswaraj pic.twitter.com/sc3bHGCSuL — vikash anand urf Vicky (@vikasha83933090) November 27, 2019 Looking at Onion Price: pic.twitter.com/z9QhdbEPrW — رÙÙاÙا (@RomanaRaza) November 29, 2019 Keep the bag of onion locked because the price high in Assam.per kg 80 rupees. pic.twitter.com/Qwdq5irLim — rupnath sarma (@Rupnaths) November 28, 2019 Scientists and farmers use chemicals in onions so that it doesn't make people cry. 6. Hammer's out, guitar is in. The biggest reveal of 'Avengers: Endgame' was easily Thor's transformation. Five years after killing Thanos, Thor is seen with a beer belly and manboobs and it's assumed that he's been depressed all these years after losing everyone he loved. He did get his revenge though and went for the giant purple grape's head, but that didn't fix everything. A lot of people were shocked with 'fat Thor', but Chris Hemsworth himself was totally on board with the idea. Looks like people were still worried about Thor, so Chris decided to share a video telling everyone he's totally fine. 7. We would expect maybe Joe Jonas to be Sophie Turner's weak spot, but no, she loves something much more than him and can't ever stay away from it. The most importamt thing in Sophie's life is her tiny little Juul and honestly, we can never see her without one. There's literally articles about Sophie and her Juul, I even read an investigation of what flavour Juul pods she uses, and I mean, she really can't live without it. She apparently even starts crying when she's away from her one true love. View this post on Instagram The pack survived A post shared by Sophie Turner (@sophiet) on May 21, 2019 at 1:34am PDT Sophie may be the queen of the north, but even queens have to work. In case you didn't know, her new movie 'Dark Phoenix' is out and there's an emotional scene where she's crying. While actors can fake cry, turns out Sophie's tears in that scene were real. According to J-Law, Sophie started crying for real in that scene just because they took away her Juul. During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Jennifer Lawrence said, “I teared up a little bit watching Sophie in that scene. It was so honest and real, and it's because she really was crying because her dialect coach, right before the take, took her Juul away…She started genuinely tearing up. It was like the performance of the year. It was amazing.” Sophie added, “It is. It's how to act. You take it away, and then you give it back, and that's happy and sad.” Wow, that's a neat little trick for anyone working with Sophie Turner in the future. Now, since we're talking about Sophie and Juuls, enjoy. 8. When we think about the game of cricket, we think about a game of sheer passion, emotions and even a way of life for some of the fans who are tilted towards the 'crazy' side, which is not something to frown upon. One must have a passion for something in life and cricket, clearly is a popular choice. Take this young boy from Tamil Nadu who cries out a river when his idol, his 'Thala' got dismissed on an objectionable run-out at the hands of fielder Ishan Kishan in the Indian Premier League final against Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians. MS Dhoni run-out! Out or Not out? https://t.co/HW7L7XMx68 — Aditya Pandey (@adityapandey148) May 15, 2019 The fact that the decision was announced on the giant screen inside the stadium after the third umpire reviewed the footage again and again, convincing along the way, all Dhoni supporters thought that their captain just might have made it across the crease. But when the screen showed “OUT” in that big red font, this little man lost his cool and let his emotions get the better of him. Dhoni not out..... 3rd umpire sethuruvan ððð pic.twitter.com/PWXpeUpvps — Siva (@Siva68079003) May 13, 2019 Sitting in his mother's lap, the boy can be seen expressing his emotions. Watching Dhoni walk back towards the dug-out, he curses out at the third umpire, Nigel Llong who, let's just say is not a very popular character ever since he broke a door at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore after getting tired of arguing with Royal Challengers Bangalore captain, Virat Kohli. Anyhow, this is what the boy said in Tamil, according to The Times of India: “Third umpire will commit suicide for the wrong decision of the umpire on the ground.” In the background, his mother tries to convince him by saying that the Indian Premier League is scripted and that it was because of “match-fixing” that the third umpire gave the unjust decision for Mahi's wicket. In the defence of the young boy, we are still not 100% sure whether Dhoni was in fact out or not as one camera shows that his bat was well inside the crease when the ball struck the bails off while the second camera shows that Dhoni did not make it to the line in time. 9. Donald Trump hasn't been the most popular President the United States has ever seen. Rather he became (in)famous for all the fallacious, absurd and often unacceptable things he says and does. 2018 stood witness to one such cruel undertaking by the Trump Government which led to a worldwide public outcry - that is, the Trump administration family separation policy. His “zero tolerance” policy for illegal immigrants caught crossing the US borders led to this savagery. 10. 2018 was a great year for influencer marketing. A lot of accounts across different platforms like YouTube, Instagram saw exponential growth. Heck, even the Undertaker is an influencer now. Naturally, a lot of millennial decided to cash in on the growth and make money from modelling, blogging, and vlogging. But have you ever imagined what would happen if these platforms seize to exist or your account gets randomly shut down someday? Well, you can ask the influencer 'Jessy Taylor'. Or just watch her YouTube video in which she's pouring out about getting her account mysteriously deleted from Instagram. The young star, who managed to rack up an impressive 113,000 followers by the time her account got deleted, starts off her video in tears. She's explaining that her old Instagram account got mysteriously deleted. “I'm in the middle of editing and my Instagram account got deleted. I've tried to get it back, I'm calling everyone I can,” she said. It appears as though her account was taken down after people reported her on the platform. “I'm nothing without my following,” says Jessy, who moved to LA to become famous on the platform. I know people like to see me be down and be like them and the ninety percenters - the people who work nine-to-five - that is not me. I am in LA to not be like that.“ Jessy's video went somewhat viral on the internet racking up over 455,000 views. The video, however, has just over 700 likes against 10,000 dislikes. So it's safe to say that people aren't particularly happy with the outburst. BTW, Jessy is back on Instagram now, she now has just over 7,000 followers.

Until now people knew Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the best footballers in the world, but after watching this video, people will love him for his sweet gestures towards his fans. © Twitter While Portugal was departing for airport and Ronaldo was already seated in the bus, a young kid came to meet Ronaldo. The young fan barely dodged the security and came close to the bus in hopes of meeting his star. Fearing that he won't be able to meet Ronaldo, he started crying, but a celebrity can't wait for his fan, right? That's where we all got wrong. Ronaldo saw the kid and immediately got down the bus and hugged the kid. © Twitter The five-time Ballon d'Or holder not only wiped the kid's tears, he also hugged and kissed him, posed for a photo and signed his jersey. The kid's day was made and so was that of every other person watching the video online. A young fan thought he'd missed the chance to meet his hero as Portugal departed for the World Cup. Cristiano stepped off the bus and made sure his dream came true. pic.twitter.com/r3qERFy8Vz — ESPN FC (@ESPNFC) 11 June 2018 This is not the first time that Ronaldo has greeted his fans with such warmth. Earlier also, there have been instances where he went an extra mile to make his fans' day. Just like his fans, we too are in love Ronaldo's gesture and can't wait for him and his team to compete with Spain, in its opening match this Friday.

The pooch refused to leave his owner's side and barked angrily at everyone and anyone who tried to wake up his drunk owner. © Youtube/Daniel Kalemasi As a crowd collected on the street, annoyed motorists tried to move the drunk man who was causing a nuisance by lying in the middle of the road. The loyal doggie would have none of it. When a policeman with a baton tries to nudge the man awake, the dog protects his owner fiercely. The animal keeps licking his owner's face in a bid to wake him up and end the ordeal. Finally, the man begins to gain consciousness after a passer-by removes his helmet when the dog is distracted by the policeman. Do we humans even deserve this unconditional love we get from our pets? We can't help but feel bad for the poor dog who is stressed on seeing his owner in such a state. Dogs really are a blessing to mankind. Can't say the same about mankind. © Thinkstock Photos

  15. No matter how many smart phones come on the market with great cameras, matching up to the quality of a DSLR is always going to be tough. So when we hear about a so-and-so camera costing lakhs and crores, we aren't that surprised because we know the quality would be unparalleled. But the camera that we are talking about today will leave you bewildered. A 95-year-old Leica camera recently fetched over Rs. 19 crores at an auction in Vienna making it the world's most expensive camera. © WestLicht Auction No points for guessing that the Leica 0-series no. 122 is one of those rare, limited edition cameras and is in fact, fully functional. The bid for the Leica 0-series started at a price of 400,000 Euros which sounds nominal given the amount of money it fetched in the end. Quickly, the bid rose 6 times higher and a private collector from Asia emerged as the winner when he bought it off for a record price of $ 2.9 million. © WestLicht Auction Now if like us, you are wondering what is so special about this camera in particular then let us enlighten you. According to a statement by the WestLicht museum, the camera dates back to the year 1923, two years before the first Leica was introduced to the market. © YouTube/WestLicht & WestLicht Photographica Auction The camera was manufactured by Ernst Leitz who produced only 25 of these and out of those, only three are known to still be in their original condition. The camera only weighs 135 gram and had an aperture between f/3.5 > f/12. This record was previously held by another 1923 Leica-O series camera which was auctioned off for 2.16 million euros in 2012. Considering the bidder was willing to spend a bomb on an old (though rare) camera, it's safe to say people's love for vintage things can go to any extremes. Watch the bidding here:
  16. Almost every 90s kid will remember Sinead O' Connor's raspy rendition of Prince's iconic track, ‘Nothing Compares 2 U'. Connor, a four-time Grammy nominee, rose to fame with her debut album, ‘The Lion and The Cobra' which released back in the 1980s. Connor, a legend of her time, challenged established norms and notions. Connor was always one to take a strong stance. We remember her for that, and the tremendous contribution she made to music. © YouTube Yet, today, we find ourselves shaken by a video released by the singer, on her Facebook page. The video is a cry for help. The video is an act of desperation. The video is about Sinead O' Connor revealing that she is alone, suicidal and living in a motel. But, wait. No. it's actually much, MUCH more than that. And let's retract how we're all calling it “a cry for help”. Yes, she's crying. But, why is she crying? Is she crying because she's depressed? Yes. That's obvious. Is she crying because she's alone? Yes, she is. Is she crying because she needs help? Sure. But, she is crying, above all else, because mental health is bloody real and nobody fucking GETS IT! That is why she is really crying, above all else. Don't misunderstand. Sinead is a very strong woman; even if it's just in spirit. It takes a LOT for a celebrity to come out in the open about the harsh realities of life. Sinead is sad, alone and depressed and yet, she decided to come out and talk. How many really do that? The most we get is a shocking announcement, usually on an otherwise, regular morning, about the sad demise of a star who burned bright—almost too bright—and then, went out. Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington are only two very recent and shocking examples. Sinead O' Connor is NOT them. Sinead O' Connor is a strong-spirited woman who is maybe just one of millions, as she repeatedly says in her video; but, she is definitely the one in millions who is choosing to speak up about her condition, as well as, publicly call out the people who have abandoned her just because she made a few mistakes in her life. © Billboard No one deserves to be alone; no one. It doesn't matter what you did, or didn't do. You could be the worst parent; the worst child; the worst sibling or the worst human being. But, you do not deserve to be alone, especially when you need help. The world we live in today is never how we expect it to be. And so, we set ourselves up to try and stay non-expectant of most things. But, we're only human. We crave connection. And when we're disconnected from the world we are in, we lose sight of things. That's a driving force. It can drive you mad. It can drive you over the edge. And then, what's the point of calling someone family if they're not there for you when you need them most? What's the point of friends when they can't keep you from falling over the edge? What's the point of being revered by millions when you don't even have one that you can count on? At the end you're just alone and lonely with no one by your side and what's the point of that, really? No one would ever want to live that way. No, I'm not justifying suicide, at all. But, all we need is one reason. No one willingly wants to die if they can help it. Know this. But, if you feel like there is no reason to hang on, you become just as vulnerable and susceptible to failure. © Picthfork Sinead has been contemplating suicide for the past 2 years. Only because she sees reason enough to stay put, to hang in and to hope. This is a resort. Sinead is not giving up. She is holding on. And that's what her video is really about. It's about giving no fucks about what anybody, including her family members and so-called friends might think of her actions. It's about putting her own pain and insecurities aside and doing what needs to be done—reaching out; to her family, to her fans and to a million others who are going through something similar. It's her way of telling people that she is “one of millions” and she gets it. It's her way of saying she's in this and she's fighting and so should you. It's not about giving up and ending it all. It's about hanging on and fighting on; moving the **** forward! It's about saying **** you to the expectations and the judgments made by others and doing what you have to do to survive and fight back. It's about calling out the bullshit for exactly what it is—your family turning their backs on you, friends who never really existed to begin with and the fact that you‘ve done some questionable things in the past that you continue to be punished for. Sinead O' Connor's public declaration is strong, spirited and a lesson for the millions who are going through the same things, in different ways. It's a message that tells you not to give up. So, don't.
  17. Ask anyone about Delhi and the first thing they will associate the capital with are crimes like rapes and assault. Women dread walking out of their homes at night and what are we doing to help them get over this fear? No matter how hurtful or upsetting it sounds, whenever a crime happens; most of us turn a blind eye and stand as mute spectators waiting for someone else to help the victim. Also, clicking pictures and making a video is more important than saving that person's life, right! But thanks to some good Samaritans, things are now changing for the better and it was thanks to these good souls that a major mishap was prevented. A bunch of bikers came to the rescue of a woman in her 20s, who was abducted by three men and was crying for help on the mean streets of Delhi. © Wikimedia Aman Goyal and his friends were eating at a dhaba when they heard the woman's cry for help. They immediately gave a chase on their bikes and managed to catch a hold of them and rescue her. According to a report published in The Times Of India, Aman said “The woman was in a state of shock and semi-conscious when we rescued her.” The woman is a resident of Mangolpuri and apparently knew one of the abductors. He took advantage of this fact and approached her on the pretext of giving her a lift when she was returning home on Saturday. Two men were already inside the car and after travelling some distance, the three men started touching her and reportedly even tore her clothes. When she shouted for help, they rolled up the windows, however her cry for help managed to reach these guys and they gave chase. © Thinkstock/Getty Images “We have registered a case under IPC sections 354B (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe) and 362 (abduction). We found that the woman was in touch with one of the accused,” said DCP (outer) MN Tiwari. Before the cops arrived at the scene, a mob had already surrounded the car and people started pelting stones at the car and set it on fire. While two of the abductors were caught, the third one managed to escape. This entire incident shows that the youth of Delhi aren't apathetic and will stand up for what is right. They are spearheading a positive change in helping the distressed and we hope that others can learn something from these unsung heroes. Source: The Times Of India
  18. Tom Cruise has been around for a long time. But there is something even he hadn’t seen, until now. He finally saw memes of himself for the first time and couldn’t get enough of them. The ‘Tom Cruise Clinging’ meme came from ‘Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation’ and has been around for two years, but for some reason no one ever thought of showing it to him. © YouTube Recently, during a video interview for BBC Radio 1, reporter Ali Plumb reflected on some of Cruise’s most iconic film moments, and then jumped right into the more important stuff : his viral memes. "Are you aware of the #TomCruiseClinging off things meme?" Plumb asked. When the actor admitted that he wasn’t familiar with it, Plumb straight up busted out some of his favourite shots on his phone. First one was of Tom Cruise clinging to Free Willy mid-air, then an adorable picture of a number of Tom Cruises arranged artfully around the fluffy face of a cat. © YouTube Next came Tom Cruise hanging on to the edge of an elevator shaft while Darth Maul plummets to his doom. © YouTube But seems like he saved the best one for last – a tiny Tom Cruise just chilling off the side of Nicolas Cage's larger-than-life face. After this point, he simply lost it, he couldn’t contain himself. © YouTube "That's fantastic," he exclaimed. "Oh my god, why didn't anyone show me that before? That is hilarious!" He was laughing so much that he had to ask for a glass of water to calm himself down. Watch the whole video: Fun fact: The scene where we got that still from was performed by Cruise himself, with no green screen or anything. He was actually clinging to a jet as it took off, making it one of the most dangerous things he's ever done, by his own admission.
