  1. In actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case related to his sudden and unexpected death, several angles have come to the limelight, including fake theories and false claims too by people on social media. © Twitter In that context, on Thursday, the cyber cell of Mumbai Police arrested a Delhi resident, identified as one Vibhor Anand, for allegedly spreading misinformation and levelling false claims around the deaths of Sushant Singh and the latter's former manager Disha Salian. © BCCL Sushant was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, and the CBI probe into his death case is still going on. Who Is Vibhor Anand? © Twitter Vibhor Anand claims to be a lawyer (also a former pilot and self-styled aviation expert) by profession and has apparently had an unsettled past on the internet. From making sensational allegations on certain popular Bollywood actors and political bigwigs to dropping provocational statements regarding the 2012 Delhi gang rape and murder (Nirbhaya case), Anand has left no stone unturned in stirring controversy on the micro-blogging site. Recently, a Reddit user posted about Vibhor's profile. A post on Reddit's r/BollyBlinds community by u/BornJinx, which has now gone viral, elaborates a take on the backstory behind the internet notoriety of this self-proclaimed “lawyer”. Here’s What The Reddit Thread Says"Mr Anand has an interesting past: in 2012 he was calling Modi a murderer, but now calls himself deluded. Then he claimed that he fought for the Nirbhaya rapists for legal reasons and then lately claims that the girl's boyfriend who was also beaten up was the"biggest villain" and part of the rape. But "Delhi Police" was "helpless" and so they let him off.” Why Was He Arrested?Vibhor Anand was arrested from Delhi for allegedly spreading fake conspiracy theories in connection with the deaths of Sushant Singh Rajput and talent manager Disha Salian. The FIR was registered with the police in August this year after he allegedly posted three YouTube videos in which he was making defamatory statements and allegations against the Cabinet Minister Aaditya Thackeray, along with the state home home minister Anil Deshmukh. Why Is #ReleaseVibhorAnand Trending? Now many people on Twitter are demanding his release in relation to this case. Although, Anand's Twitter account remains suspended now and is the reason why some of his more ill-famed posts remain inaccessible to the common people. Here’s What People Are Posting On TwitterVibhor Anand is in Judicial Custody and None can meet with him till ,23rd October. In its crowdfunding campaign ad, Anand stated, "Since its inception, IABM has filed over 100 criminal cases across India against actress Swara Bhaskar, Dhruv Rathee, Sagarika Ghose, Shekhar Gupta, Aroon Purie, Barkha Dutt, Shehla Rashid, Rana Ayub, etc. collectively for spreading Fake and Biased News. And all these cases would soon reach courts for logical conclusion." In relation to this, High Court lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud, as quoted by a report, went on record two years ago to agree that IABM was trying to "silence dissent with the threat of harassment." Vibhor Anand has been booked for defamation along with other charges under the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology act, as per the reports. View the full article

  4. The 2019-2020 season was full of misery and agony for an NBA fan. First, we lost one of the greatest men to have ever run the league in David Stern on the first day of the new year, the league got disrupted because of the coronavirus outbreak, and of course, the legendary Kobe Bryant lost with life in a horrible helicopter crash along with his baby girl Gianna and seven other people. View this post on InstagramA post shared by (@nbadab_) The team Bryant had played religiously for 20 straight years, the Los Angeles Lakers had held a massive ceremony to bid their idol adieu. Some of the biggest names of the business including Michael Jordan and Shaquille O’Neal gave some heartwarming speeches. However, Lakers fans knew that the farewell wasn’t complete unless they won the title this season. Jump to nine months later, the Lakers not only finished the regular season being the best team in the Western Conference, they are now the NBA Champions as well. View this post on InstagramA post shared by (@nbadab_) LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers dominated the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the NBA Finals to win the record-tying 17th title in the history of the franchise. James who won his fourth title in 17 years, also became the Most Valuable Player of the NBA Finals. One of the most loved yet highly criticised players of all time, LeBron James spoke directly to all those who don’t acknowledge his greatness when he said: “Coach (Frank) Vogel wants his respect, the organisation want their respect, Laker nation want their respect… I want my damn respect, too.” View this post on InstagramA post shared by (@nbadab_) People might say that this championship was the easiest for the Lakers, that the Bubble made it simpler, that the long break before the Playoffs gave them enough time to heal, but what about the losses they incurred that can't be returned? Yes, we’re talking about Kobe Bryant. He was the royalty of LA. He was the past, present and future of the city. He was supposed to live his life and love the people around him, especially this team. We wish he was here today. To see what his team had done. He'd be proud. He'd be the happiest person in the building. He'd be at peace, even if it meant cheering for his team from the sidelines. He passed away at the age of 56 although he continued to work at Apple during his treatment. © Youtube/Cnet Steve Jobs had two stints at Apple, where he returned to the Cupertino giant in 1996 when the company bought NeXT and the NeXTSTEP OS. 10. The turn of events in 2020 has rightly deemed it to be a dark year for all of mankind. Our lives have been affected by a pandemic no one had earlier heard of, untimely demises, rising cases of depression and unimaginable living conditions. It's safe to say that we've seen it all and there is no doubt that we are way beyond our threshold of bearing the bad news. But, it seems there is no end to it anytime soon. The resumption of cricketing action on 19th September, with the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) kickstarting this year's proceedings, people finally had something to help divert their attention from these troubled times. The ongoing edition has witnessed five games which had almost everything a fan could wish for. But, just when life seemed like a little normal with IPL, 2020's bad omen returned to haunt us once again. On 24th September, when everyone was busy speculating over what promises to be a pulsating clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), one of the most popular and respected voices in international cricket, Dean Jones, passed away after suffering a massive heart attack in Mumbai. Dean Jones: 1961-2020 – an icon of the game gone way too soon. RIP OBITUARY ▶️ https://t.co/ZTKMNBg1Yb pic.twitter.com/hT3zgK1KgG — ICC (@ICC) September 24, 2020"It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing away of Dean Mervyn Jones AM. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest. We express our deep condolences to his family and stand ready to support them in this difficult time," Star India, who had roped in Jones as a commentator for IPL 2020, confirmed through a statement. "Dean Jones was one of the great ambassadors of the game associating himself with Cricket development across South Asia. He was passionate about discovering new talent and nurturing young Cricketers. He was a champion commentator whose presence and presentation of the game always brought joy to millions of fans. He will be sorely missed by everyone at Star and his millions of fans across the globe," Star India added in its statement. We are extremely shocked and sad to learn of the untimely demise of Mr. Dean Jones. His energy and enthusiasm for the game will be truly missed. Our thoughts with his family, friends and his followers in this hour of grief. pic.twitter.com/gAAagImKeC — IndianPremierLeague (@IPL) September 24, 2020 The 59-year-old had arrived in Mumbai at the behest of Star India who had organised a special commentary team for the coverage of IPL 2020. Like his fellow commentators, Jones was placed in a bio-secure bubble in a seven-star hotel in Mumbai. His impeccable knowledge and analysis of the game had made him a popular commentator in the cricketing circles. Born in Melbourne, Jones was a vital cog in Allan Border's world-conquering Australian side during his playing days. A natural showman who never hesitated from getting involved in verbal altercations with the bowlers, showed everyone the importance of running hard between the wickets and gave purpose to outfielders with his passionate fielding efforts, Jones wrote the virtues of being a successful limited-overs cricketer. Cricket Australia is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dean Jones, aged 59. Jones represented Australia in 52 Tests and 164 One-Day Internationals, winning admirers the world over with his dashing shot-making and superb fielding. Full release: https://t.co/A9Y6SSSXpz pic.twitter.com/NzjBX3NJgN — Cricket Australia (@CricketAus) September 24, 2020 Often labelled as 'Prof Deano', the Australian legend played 52 Tests and amassed 3,631 runs including 11 hundreds, 14 fifties and a personal best score of 216 runs. The right-hander also played 162 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) for Australia, scoring 6,068 runs including seven hundreds and 46 fifties. While the great Australian cricket icon might have left us all teary-eyed with his sudden demise, his legacy which is full of achievements, both on and off the field, will continue to live on. And, that's probably why social media is flooded with tributes from cricketers, commentators and fans for our beloved 'Prof Deano'. Absolutely heartbreaking news about Dean Jones passing away. A wonderful soul taken away too soon. Had the opportunity to play against him during my first tour of Australia. May his soul rest in peace and my condolences to his loved ones. 🏼 pic.twitter.com/u6oEY1h7zz — Sachin Tendulkar (@sachin_rt) September 24, 2020Shocked to hear about the tragic loss of Dean Jones. 11. Chadwick Boseman played the first black superhero to get his own standalone film in the record-breaking Marvel franchise with 2018´s "Black Panther."
  12. Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise is way more complicated than it looks like. Big names like Kangana Ranaut fought for justice for the actor. Many Bollywood names have been associated with the tragic death of the actor and one of the names that popped in connection to the alleged murder of the Dil Bechara actor is Sooraj Pancholi. Now, Sooraj’s father Aditya Pancholi has finally spoken up in favour of his son and debunked all the theories of his involvement in the case. He told Aaj Tak as quoted by Hindustan Times, “One foolish guy posted and all these major media houses picked it up and made it into an issue. This is not fair. Everyone has to be responsible, we had to go through so much pain.” He added, “I am not on social media but they are trolling Sooraj that he is a ‘murderer’. This is the reason he had to turn his comments off. What is this?” View this post on InstagramA post shared by (@soorajpancholi) He also lashed out at Kangana Ranaut for spreading negativity and giving different narratives of Sushant’s death. “Jis thaali mein khate hain usme chhed nahi karte hain (Do not dig a hole in the same plate you eat in),” he said. He added, “Kya bol sakte hai uss aurat ke baare main, uspar humara defamation case bhi chal rha hai, (What can we say about this woman. We have a defamation case going on against her). She is not supposed to talk about me and my family.” View this post on InstagramAfter Sanjay Raut said they are in the last last leg of investigation, #KanganaRanaut joins the global campaign for #JusticeForSushant #CBIForSSR. We deserve nothing but the truth.A post shared by (@kanganaranaut) He went on to say that Kangana’s theory of nepotism factor in Sushant’s death has also been proved wrong and asked her to return Padma Shri, as she had promised to do so if proven wrong. He said, “Tell her to return it now because she is wrong about Sushant Singh Rajput. His father filed a report in Patna in which there is no angle of nepotism mentioned. He clearly said that Section 306 is on Rhea. When Kangana was naming industry people, she actually wasted everyone’s time.” Kangana had told Republic TV in an interview, “I am telling you, if I have said anything, which I can’t testify, which I can’t prove, and which is not in the public domain, I will return my Padma Shri.” What do you have to say about this? 13. The Central Bureau of Investigation aka the CBI is one of the premier investigation agencies India boasts of. Indian citizens have come to bestow the organisation with immense trust when it comes to tackling sensitive cases of national importance. Although a quick research will tell you, that at the time of its inception, CBI wasn’t anything like the CBI we know today. First set up way back in 1941 as the Special Police Establishment (SPE) to investigate bribery and corruption, 1965 saw the SPE metamorphose into the present day CBI, which now holds the authority to look into matters involving breaches of central laws, cross-state organised crime, multi-agency or international cases. © Twitter-eenaduliven People’s faith in the CBI comes from the fact that it is an independent organisation that works impartially without bureaucratic influence calling dibs on its workings. The last decade, especially, saw the agency investigate several economic and special crimes, cases of corruption and various high-profile cases, the most recent one being that of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. But here are 5 other important and sensitive cases the CBI has undertaken previously in recent times: 1. Vijay Mallya Case © BCCL Perhaps one of the most controversial cases the CBI has been asked to handle in recent years, was the Vijay Mallya multi-crore bank fraud case. After Mallya fled from India in 2016, having allegedly defrauded several banks of close to Rs 9,000 crore, former CBI Special Director Rakesh Asthana himself led the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the case. 2. Sheena Bora Murder Case © TOI After Mumbai-based executive Sheena Bora, working with Mumbai Metro One went missing on 24 April 2012, investigations presented her mother Indrani, stepfather Sanjeev and driver Shyamvar as possible suspects. All three were arrested by the Mumbai Police in August 2015 for abducting, killing her and eventually, burning Sheena’s corpse. The case was subsequently taken over by the CBI in September 2015. 3. Nirav Modi-PNB Scam © BCCL In January 2018 the Punjab National Bank (PNB) filed a police complaint against Nirav Modi and others and accused them of fraud amounting to a whopping Rs 2.81 billion. Following the complaint, the CBI launched an investigation into the alleged scam in February 2018. Working with the Enforcement Directorate, CBI is currently awaiting the September 2020 hearing after the five-day extradition trial was adjourned by the UK court. 4. Jeyaraj-Fenix Custodial Death Case © TOI The Tuticorin case, as it is otherwise known, caused a lot of uproar following the custodial deaths of father-son duo Jayaraj and Fenix in Tamil Nadu’s Thoothukoodi district. 59-year-old Jeyaraj and 31-year-old Fenix were picked up by the Sathankulam police for allegedly violating lockdown guidelines by keeping their shop open after prescribed business hours. Following alleged brutal thrashing and physical abuse, the father and son died in a government hospital in June. In early July, after the state government’s request, the case was handed over to CBI. 5. PNB-Mehul Choksi Case © BCCL Back in March 2018, a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act court issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Choksi, and his nephews Nirav Modi and Neeshal Deepak Modi. The trio was suspected to have colluded with two Punjab National Bank employees in an alleged $1.8 billion fraud. Having already fled to Antigua before he could be prosecuted, Choksi was declared a fugitive of the Indian government. The CBI is working closely with INTERPOL and the Antiguan government to extradite Choksi back to India. We hope these cases meet the desired end and justice is delivered. View the full article

We played the game for a short while on our PC rig to test out the performance and how the graphic fidelity of the game. The game has been written, directed, and produced by Hideo Kojima; so as expected the game offers some whacky narratives and gameplay mechanics. The game has already been out for a while, so our review is going to limited to the actual performance of the game. For people who want to know what the game is all about, you play Sam Porter Bridges; a courier delivering essential supplies in the post-apocalyptic world of ‘United Cities of America’. You will spend a lot of time traversing the rough terrain, climbing hills, and constructing bridges to deliver your packages. The game is quite connected to other players of the world where you will also find pre-existing bridges, shelters and other resources left behind for you to use. Inversely, you can also help out other players of the game by leaving behind tools and buildings for them to use in their playthrough. © Kojima Producrtions_505Games Simply judging by the visuals, we played the game on both a 4K TV and a 1440P monitor and the post-apocalyptic world of North America looks absolutely stunning. Whether you are playing in 4K or lower resolutions, you will thoroughly enjoy the world crafted by Kojima and his team for the PC port. You will be spending anywhere between 40-45 hours completing this game with bonus content for Half-Life fans. We tested the game on our dedicated gaming PC build that consisted of an RTX 2080 Ti, 32GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, and an Intel i7-8700K CPU. We have to point out that we were able to achieve anywhere between 55-60 frames while playing in 4K resolution which was more than enough, as this game was playable even on the PlayStation 4 with 30 FPS. Having said that, if you turn down the resolution you can push even more frames; we were hovering between 110 - 120 FPS on 1440P resolution. The game’s video settings allow you to extend it up to 240 FPS. However, to achieve higher frames, we recommend turning off motion blur effects and toning down the depth of field from the settings. The game also provides additional settings for shadows, ambient occlusion, the choice between TAA or FXAA anti-aliasing amongst other settings you can tweak according to your preference and PC specifications. © Kojima Producrtions_505Games Having said that, the game doesn’t require a powerful gaming PC like ours. Sure, you will experience a little drop in performance on older hardware however it will still hold up well for most current PC gamers. The minimum and recommended requirements for Death Stranding are mentioned below: © Kojima Producrtions_505Games We do have to mention that the game does not offer any real-time ray tracing which was a big disappointment. However, the game makes up for it for having NVIDIA’s DLSS 2.0 support. NVIDIA has already issued a driver update and we highly recommend upgrading before playing this game. DLSS 2.0 only works on RTX GPUs where it uses a neural network to boosts frame rates while maintaining the overall image quality. For RTX GPU users, you will not face any major frame rate drops even when playing in higher resolutions. Having said that, with DLSS 2.0 turned off, we did feel the game was being held back a little. If you aren’t an RTX GPU user, you may experience lower frame rates but nothing too drastic that would hamper the overall experience. Overall, the PC port of Death Stranding has been optimised well and delivered an experience expected from a single-player adventure. The Final Verdict If you’ve been wanting to play this game with better performance, frames and upgraded graphics; you really should check out Death Stranding on PC. However, if you already own a PlayStation 4, you can find the game for cheaper online and at your local retailer. 505Games didn’t follow through with regional pricing for this game and it could be a bit expensive purchase for a game that has already been out for several months.
