Perhaps not. Here, we will discuss the ground reality according to the quality of the bread that is actually available in the market. Before you come at us with a bread knife, let's look at 4 facts that will help you settle the debate and pick sides: White Bread vs. Brown Bread. © iStock 1. The ingredients for both white and brown breads, for the most part, are exactly the same. Most brown breads, if you get down to the basics, are in fact white breads with added colours / darker shades. The nutrition profile in terms of macros remains almost the same.
