  4. Hair matters. It matters so much that even the most popular celebrities—fully secured about their looks—routinely invest in hair care treatments. In fact, you’re only a click away from learning the names of the biggest actors who have had a hair transplant. Fabulous hair is no match for talent, of course, but it plays a key role in making you appear like you have yourself together. via GIPHY So how do you take care of your hair? Shampoo. Conditioner. Oil. But, which shampoo? Which oil? Do you still have dandruff? Do you know what type of dandruff you have? Are you sure you’re not using an anti-dandruff shampoo to treat dry scalp? These are important questions that will help you diagnose your problem first and then, solving it will be as simple as eating a piece of cake. What Is Dry Scalp? When you overwash your hair or use too many hair care products featuring harsh chemicals, you put your scalp at a high risk of being dry. It’s not a medical condition, but it can help diagnose one of the underlying ones, such as psoriasis, contact dermatitis, eczema or sunburn. The irritation caused by dry scalp will lead to itching and flaking, which are similar to dandruff. But note that dry scalp is caused by the scalp's inability to produce enough sebum and natural oils. When the scalp lacks moisture, it becomes excessively dry and leads to the shedding of dead skin. Dry Scalp Treatment: Wash with a gentle shampoo. Never skip the moisturising conditioner. Massage regularly with anti-dandruff oil. __ECOMPRODUCT__3117__ What Is Dandruff?Dandruff, on the other hand, is an inflammatory scalp condition triggered by overgrowing harmless yeast. While the dry scalp is caused by a lack of moisture, dandruff is associated with excess oil production. Four Different Types Of Dandruff 1. Dry Skin DandruffIt’s very common and mostly occurs in winter. Dry skin dandruff can be a result of hot showers. Hot water can make your scalp dry and flaky. You might experience this type of dandruff if you have dry, curly hair. Dry Dandruff Treatment: Avoid colouring. Get regular oil massages to nourish the scalp. Try an anti-dandruff leave-in lotion (massage it into your scalp, leave in overnight. Use a moisturising shampoo for your hair in the morning). __ECOMPRODUCT__3118__ 2. Oil-Related DandruffOil-related dandruff happens when sebum oil accumulates on the scalp. This oil can cause clumps of dead skin cells and dirt forming itchy flakes. High levels of stress and anxiety can increase sebum oil secretion leading to the condition. Oil Dandruff Treatment: Consult your doctor for medication and shampoo that can clean excess sebum oil off the scalp. __ECOMPRODUCT__2968__ 3. Fungus-Related DandruffMalassezia, a yeast found on the skin and scalp, contributes to the inflammatory response in seborrhea, resulting in redness and the production of white flakes. This yeast thrives in oily areas and feeds on sebum. Fungal Dandruff Treatment: Use a good anti-fungal shampoo to get rid of this condition, preferably suggested by a dermatologist. __ECOMPRODUCT__3119__ 4. Disease-Related DandruffSkin conditions like psoriasis, eczema can lead to scaly skin on the scalp as they stimulate the production of skin cells. When these skin cells come in contact with dirt and sebum oil, it causes dandruff. Seborrheic dermatitis is another, more serious condition that leads to severe sores, redness and itchy scalp. You might notice it on your neck or back of the head. Disease-Related Dandruff Treatment: Consult a doctor for proper medication. __ECOMPRODUCT__3120__ Now that you know the difference between dry scalp and different types of dandruff, pick your potion wisely. 5. Virat Kohli's love for fitness is not hidden from anyone and it won't be wrong if we say that he should be given all the credit to take Team India's fitness to a different level since he took over the reins from former captain MS Dhoni. It is not just his physical fitness but Kohli's mental toughness too is second to none. The 33-year-old led India across formats for over five years but he did not let the burden of captaincy affect his batting as he smashed records for fun during his stint at the helm. BREAKING: After seven years at the helm, Virat Kohli has stepped down as India’s Test captain. pic.twitter.com/0aZzSUvEYq — ICC (@ICC) January 15, 2022 Kohli announced himself at the international stage in his very first World Cup game as he slammed an unbeaten century against Bangladesh in Dhaka back in 2011. During the tournament, everyone is well aware of the health condition of Yuvraj Singh who was diagnosed with cancer but carried on and won player of the tournament as India ended its 28-year-long wait for the World Cup title. .@imVkohli got the 2011 CWC off to a flier with a 83 ball century. Team India's former physio Ashish Kaushik lavished praise on Kohli's pain endurance ability while sharing an anecdote from the 2011 World Cup semi-final. Kaushik said Kohli knows how to play through pain and while some players react differently to pain as compared to others, Kohli is someone who always looks for solutions to make it work. CONFIRMED: @imVkohli will not play for Surrey after suffering a neck injury playing for RCB. He will undertake a fitness Test on 15th June, and is expected to be fit for India's tours of Ireland and England. pic.twitter.com/923ubTK7se — ICC (@ICC) May 24, 2018 "His pain tolerance is phenomenal. Some players get affected by pain more than others - pain being a subjective marker - but Kohli has got a tremendous ability to endure pain and look for solutions. I remember he had some neck and jaw pain before the 2011 World Cup semi-final in Mohali but he would take everything extremely, extremely lightly, and somehow know that he can work through it," Kaushik was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz. While other players were competing with each other within the cricket community in terms of being the fittest athlete across the world, Kohli always had a bigger vision and he was looking up to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Novak Djokovic and worked towards becoming one of the fittest across the sports fraternity. "He would look up to Djokovic, Ronaldo. Those were the people he was comparing his fitness to. Not to the other players within the fraternity of cricket, but he was looking at the fittest guys in the field of sport. That's where he wanted to see himself," he added. Image 1 Kohli's desire to challenge himself and his ability to endure pain makes him a different kind of a beast and we are glad to have witnessed him at the peak of his power as he dominated world cricket. 6. Virat Kohli, the former captain of Team India, offered a heartfelt tribute to Shane Warne, who unfortunately died on Friday at the age of 52. While on vacation in Thailand, the spin magician died after a suspected heart attack. The cricketing community has expressed its sorrow and grief over the untimely death of the Australian superstar, with Kohli emphasising that life is "unpredictable and fickle" in his tribute. View this post on Instagram Kohli began his tribute to Warne by saying how it was after the events of the first day of the India-Sri Lanka series that the team found out about the terrible news. This is when Kohli begins to speak about his thoughts on life, causing fans to see a whole different side of the batter. The cricketer eloquently articulated how we go about our daily lives and believe that everything revolves around what we are doing at the time; all of our problems, misfortunes, and things to look forward to. However, we rapidly learn that life is incredibly unpredictable and fickle. "Life is fickle and unpredictable. I stand here in disbelief and shock."@imVkohli pays his tributes to Shane Warne. pic.twitter.com/jwN1qYRDxj — BCCI (@BCCI) March 5, 2022 “We just need to be grateful for all the moments we are alive. Passing at the age of 52 is something totally unexpected. He went far too early. I stand here with disbelief and shock because I got to know him off the field as well. I understood the persona and charisma he brought to every conversation that he was a part of. From that, I could understand what he brought on the field as well. He was just an honest man up front,” Kohli said in a short video shared by the official Twitter handle of the BCCI. Warne was the "best spinner of all time," according to the 33-year-old, who expressed his sympathies to the spinner's family and friends. The Australian, largely credited with revolutionising leg-spin bowling, finished his illustrious international career with 708 wickets in 145 Tests. View this post on Instagram While Kohli is rarely vulnerable in public and manages to hide his real emotions behind a curtain, being so open and talking about someone so passionately made his fans appreciate him even more. Here is how some of the fans were felt awe-struck by how nicely Kohli expressed his true feelings for the spinning legend in Mohali: Lovely words from Virat Kohli #ShaneWarne #ViratKohli https://t.co/blLPH9dsnY — Cricket Badger Podcast (@cricket_badger) March 5, 2022The love of Virat for Warnie and the love of Warnie for virat is just pure . He even played a decent knock in the first innings and added 45 runs off 76 deliveries to his team’s total before he was bowled out by Lasith Embuldeniya in the 44th over of the match.
