  1. It's been a while Sanjay Dutt has been MIA from the big screen (unless you count his brief appearance in his own biography 'Sanju' during the end credits). However, he's all set to return with a bang with 'Kalank' - probably the biggest multi-starrer movie this year has to offer. The teaser just launched today, and as excited as we are for it to release, Sanjay Dutt's all-black ensemble had our attention in a heartbeat. Take a look. © Viral Bhayani We love the elaborately textured sherwani paired with the super relaxed patialas. The fact that he almost never steps out like this, makes it all the more special. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani We are digging the salt and pepper (well, more of salt tbh) beard game. His buzz cut is making him look like the ultimate new age 'Khalnayak' that we all deserve. © Viral Bhayani When it comes to accessories, the black glasses and the gold sherwani buttons spell 'classy' like nothing else, and they do complete justice to the intense vibe. © Viral Bhayani All we can say is, we can't wait to see him on the big screen.
  2. Any sane person knows that sending unsolicited 'dick pics' is straight up sexual harassment, there's no doubt about that. Actually, every single person should know this now, especially after the MeToo movement, but I guess some people still haven't gotten the memo. Today, renowned journalist Barkha Dutt shared the screenshot of an unsolicited dick pic she received on Whatsapp. Yes, it was great for her to call out such creeps and it was the right thing to file a complaint and take official action. However, the problem that a lot of people are having with her tweet is that she seems to have politicised the rather sensitive subject of sexual harassment. Also, everyone's asking the same question right now- how do you tell someone's a nationalist by just looking at their dick? This is terrible @BDUTT. This man shd be caught and punished. Not sure how you could identify political ideology based on genitalia though? ð¤https://t.co/rfo7lw2pLr — Anuraag Saxena (@anuraag_saxena) February 18, 2019 We're all with her when it comes to calling out these horrible trolls. .@BDUTT is being viciously trolled. Someone has leaked her number and she's being barraged with horrendous obscenities and images. This is the absolute pits. What a low. Kudos to her strength and spirit — Jairaj Singh (@JairajSinghR) February 18, 2019 It's been a weird day. My TL right now. #Barkha pic.twitter.com/jQN7McqRbz — नà¥à¤¤à¤¾à¤à¥ सà¥à¤ªà¤ वारॠ(@KalluKallan) February 18, 2019 Questionable choice of words but okay. Ye sab bhejna galat hai lekin auzaar dekh kar vyakti ki nationalism kaise pata lagati ho aap 𤠗 Delhi se hoon BC (@delhichatter) February 18, 2019 Trolling-ception? There was a face recognition software but Barkha's phone have body parts recognition software which tell you weather the part from nationalist or anti-national. Brawo for inventing new software. @BDUTT — Angry Bird (@flyingvoyage) February 18, 2019 Everyone is confused. It's disgusting and action shud be taken on the person but where is nationalism here ? 𤠗 Amit A (@Amit_smiling) February 18, 2019 Umm. Where is the nationalilsm mentioned ð¡ð¡ð¡ð¡ — Aman Ranjan Bhumihar (@im_ak_ranjan) February 18, 2019 Yes, he definitely should. Throughout history, male genital has been used by sexual terrorists to show misplaced power and vile valour...esply to threaten & humiliate women. Sadly, some are doing so in our times, in India, on Twitter. Send the beast, who has done this to Barkha, to jail. @BDUTT 17/n — Sudheendra Kulkarni (@SudheenKulkarni) February 18, 2019 So @BDUTT can look at the private parts of a man & say what IDEOLOGY he follows? I think we should send all the "Terror-suspects" to her. She'll "check" & let us know if the person is guilty or not. ððð — Poornima Nayak (@FullmoonNayak) February 18, 2019 "Terrorism has no Religion but 'genitals" have political ideology" Barkha Dutt school of journalism!!! pic.twitter.com/jfhqrct4E5 — Seema Choudhary (@Seems3r) February 18, 2019 I stand for @BDUTT - without any hangups on our differences in politics. But also want to shame her for her cheap and deeply dangerous antics! https://t.co/en5AjqBSji pic.twitter.com/Z1N6FGR3ou — Shubhrastha (@Shubhrastha) February 18, 2019
  3. When Rajkumar Hirani announced his biopic on Sanjay Dutt, many eyes rolled, expectations flew in the sky and when the movie finally came to light, a few things happened. Ranbir Kapoor proved that he can rule Bollywood with his stellar acting, amd the world got to know the story of Sanjay Dutt's life's struggle. However, seems like one person is not satisfied with the biopic and believes there is still scope for the real story to unfold. As per the recent reports in Mumbai Mirror, RGV has decided to make a 'real' biopic on the controversial actor. © Twitter He believes that certain parts of Sanjay Dutt's life haven't been explored well and his movie will deal with the real issues and the real story of his life, particularly the 1993 blasts in Mumbai and the actor's connection with them. He said “That Dutt was doing drugs, was traumatised by his mother's battle with cancer [she died just three days before the release of his first film Rocky], had multiple flings, many of them one night stands, is all well documented,” as per the sources. © Twitter The movie will also deal with how the actor was threatened and what were the circumstances in his life during that time which led the incidents to flow in later. Will this be called 'Sanju 2.0' or will Ranbir Kapoor star in this one as well? Only time will tell.
  4. When Chris Martin sang the line 'when you try your best, but you don't succeed' it's almost as if he was talking about Arshad Warsi. Arshad Warsi can give incredible performances which are loved by audience and critics alike, and then can still be replaced. He impressed everyone with his starring role in the 2013 movie 'Jolly LLB' but then he was nowhere to be seen in the sequel and they got Akshay Kumar to play the lead in the second one. And now, another one of Arshad's iconic roles might be played by another actor. Yep, I'm talking about the role of 'Circuit', Munna Bhai's loyal and hilarious sidekick. He played the role in both 'Munna Bhai MBBS' and then in 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai', but as far as the third movie in the series is concerned, a different actor altogether might be cast for the role of Circuit. © Vinod Chopra Productions According to the rumours, the actor being considered is none other than Ranbir Kapoor, who just delivered the most successful movie of his career. Ranbir's incredible portrayal of Sanjay Dutt in the biopic 'Sanju' has impressed every single person who's watched it. Some people may have not liked the movie, but no one can deny what a terrific job Ranbir did. © Vinod Chopra Productions Reportedly, Ranbir impressed Rajkumar Hirani so much that now he might be considering casting him in 'Munna Bhai 3'. After working closely with him, he saw how hard Ranbir worked for the movie, from his almost perfect transformation to how well it was received by everyone. This might have compelled him to consider replacing Arshad – who's honestly as much of an integral part of 'Munna Bhai' as Sanjay Dutt – for the next one. © Vinod Chopra Productions Nothing is confirmed yet, it's all rumours, but if it's true, then it'll truly be heart-breaking for Arshad. We can't really imagine seeing anyone else as Circuit, but then again if it's Ranbir, you know already that he'll give a damn good performance.
  5. The legendary Nargis Dutt had a huge influence on the life of her son Sanjay Dutt. She was responsible for shaping his personality, his perspective and helped him in getting rid of his drug addiction. © Twitter In fact, Rajkumar Hirani's biopic 'Sanju' brilliantly portrayed the importance of Nargis in Sanjay's life. An interview from 1991surfaced on the web recently, where Sanjay, for the first time, talked about coming in terms with his mother's death. Nargis, who gave us some extraordinary films, succumbed to cancer just three days before Sanjay's debut film 'Rocky' hit the screens. She was adamant that the movie's premiere should not be postponed no matter what. As the family bid her goodbye, 'Rocky' released exactly on the date it was supposed to. © FoxSTarHindi “When my mother died, I did not cry, had no emotions – nothing. It was after 2 years that I was sitting in this group that all of a sudden this guy started playing the tape,” Sanjay says in the video. But when his friend played that recording of Nargis's final words from her deathbed, Sanjay confessed that he, “burst into tears and cried and cried for hours.” © Twitter In the audio recording, one can hear Nargis saying, “More than anything, Sanju, keep your humility. Keep your character. Never show off. Always be humble and always respect the elders. That is the thing that is going to take you far, and that is going to give you strength in your work.” The video is so hard-hitting that it did give us goosebumps. Check out the heart-breaking clip here: This tape even plays a vital part in Hirani's film, though the content is a little different. He showed us how due to drug addiction, Sanju couldn't digest his mother's (played by Manisha Koirala) death. It was only a year later, when his father (played by Paresh Rawal) played his mother's tape, that he got the courage to fight his addiction. © FoxStarHindi Until the film released, not many knew how Nargis' death had impacted Sanjay. The actress died of pancreatic cancer in 1981, at the age of 51. It was her tape that transformed Sanjay and changed his life for the better.
  6. The insane success at the box office has made 'Sanju' the biggest blockbuster of this year, and placed Ranbir Kapoor on a pedestal as one of the finest actors in Bollywood. The movie has already broken all the records, but it has also divided the viewers in two groups. © RHF While, some people loved the new Sanju that Rajkumar Hirani gave to us, there were some who raised questions on the way Sanjay Dutt's life was portrayed in the movie and how some characters did find its mention in the narration. Many even criticized Hirani for trying to “whitewash” his image and portraying him as a victim of circumstances, who fell in the trap of his wrong decisions. © RHF However, keeping all this aside, one of the most controversial things that came out from the movie was the revelation that Sanjay Dutt has slept with over 308 women. In an exclusive interview with India Today, Sanjay Dutt admitted that he never kept a count and spoke at length about his personal life and the movie. © T-Series Sanjay Dutt said, “I just felt that the count must be 308. Now, I don't know their names and I don't know their... I haven't kept count that way. Even in the film, it's like that. He says, 'Maybe itna hoga.' It was quite a big score.” © T-Series However, that's not the only interesting point he mentioned, he said that the reel-life Sanju aka Ranbir Kapoo's count will be more than 10. Apparently, at the trailer launch of 'Sanju', Ranbir Kapoor claimed that he was nothing like Sanjay in real life and that his count was less than 10. To this Sanjay laughed and said, “I bet his count must be more than 10.” Well, we don't know who is telling the truth, but given the charm Ranbir has on women, Sanjay's comment seems to be far more believable. What do you think? Apart from this, Sanjay Dutt also spoke about his drug addiction, smoking up, on his relationship with his parents and the allegations of people on “whitewashing” his image.
