  1. Marvel Cinematic Universe is full of incredible movies, of course, but it is also full of even more incredible bromances. The entire cast loves each other and their off-screen friendship does translate well on-screen. I feel like Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans have the most famous MCU bromance but two other actors are here to try and take the title, with a little bit Chris Hemsworth mixed in. Ever since the second trailer for 'Avengers: Endgame' dropped, everyone is talking about it and coming up with more and more theories about it. But, no one can deny that the biggest thing that stood out was Jeremy Renner's new snazzy hairstyle. Yep, Hawkeye's mohawk inspired a lot of memes and jokes online and it was all very well-deserved. I still stand by my original thought of him getting the hairstyle just because of the name. While we were coming up with more jokes, Mark Ruffalo decided to remind everyone who has the inspiration behind the mohawk. It's been 15 years since the release of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and 0 years since @renner4real stole my look ðð»‍âï¸ But I don't blame him. It's a good look. Stealing from the best. (Sorry again, @chrishemsworth. It's for a good cause.) pic.twitter.com/fngC1ddDXu — Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) March 19, 2019 Yes, we don't blame him for stealing, after all Mark should be an inspiration to all of us. Are we getting another 'I see you've copied my beard scene' in Endgame? Please say yes, Marvel. Unrelated, but everyone needs to see this right now. This is what really happened hahahah pic.twitter.com/bGXxFiI0md — Gabyð¨ð± (@rockmeperfect) March 19, 2019 Coming back to Mark's tweet, actually Jeremy is not the only thief in the MCU since Mark himself recently stole something from none other that the God of Thunder. Thor's friend from work recently stole Mjölnir, for charity of course. Yes, Jeremy, we all are. Well @MarkRuffalo @chrishemsworth it appears as if we are all thieves in our own way ð https://t.co/LgyGM3Gi1z — Jeremy Renner (@Renner4Real) March 19, 2019 What are you doing with his pillow, Banner? Firstly, @MarkRuffalo if it's for charity then I'll forgive you. Secondly, you also stole my pillow...which was kinda weird. Are you auctioning that off as well or just for your personal use? https://t.co/QfpzJtKZjF — Chris Hemsworth (@chrishemsworth) March 14, 2019 Okay, Jeremy is the real culprit here. Ah @chrishemsworth I grabbed that pillow brother and a toothbrush.... but for personal use. Thanks @MarkRuffalo for the distraction ð¤ð» — Jeremy Renner (@Renner4Real) March 14, 2019
  2. A lot has been said about 'Captain Marvel' in the last few weeks. Would it have been received in a much more positive way if it was a part of the MCU plan from the start? Probably. Would it have been considered a breakout movie for female superheroes if 'Wonder Woman' hadn't come out 2 years ago? Probably. For some, 'Captain Marvel' was nothing more than filler content from the start and trying to convince them otherwise is futile. But, the fact remains, if you've invested in 20 MCU movies over the last 10 years or so, then why not invest in one more before watching, what will possibly be, the highest grossing movie of all time? So, if you haven't watched the movie yet and are willing to understand my reasoning with an open mind then read on. Even if you've watched the movie and just want a few reasons to justify why 'Captain Marvel' can't be missed, read on. But, if you've already made up your mind about 'Captain Marvel' not being worth it, then go watch 'Avengers: Endgame' when it's out. You'll feel like you've missed something in between. There's no coming back from that, though. You can only watch 'Endgame' for the first time once. © Disney Backstory The only reason you're invested in the Avengers as a team and the MCU as a franchise is because you've seen all your favourite characters develop on the big screen. Almost all of the superheroes (barring the Hulk) have received multiple solo movies where we get to learn more about them without having to worry about the collective. That's something 'Captain Marvel' lacks right now. No one knows who she is or what she can do. Yes, a two-hour movie is not going to allow for as much character development as a couple of films or a trilogy. But, it's way better than nothing. Can you imagine Captain Marvel just showing up and kicking ass in 'Avengers: Endgame?' Everyone would have been like, "who is she? If she's so powerful, why haven't we heard of her before?" And most importantly, "where has she been for the last 20 movies?" (If you want to know all the possible reasons Captain Marvel was missing from the last 20 movies, then let me know in the comments and I'll write a separate article on that.) To get answers to all of these questions you'll have to watch 'Captain Marvel.' There are no two ways about it. © Disney Being That Know-It-All Marvel Fan We all know that one person who claims to know everything about everything in the MCU. I'm talking to that person directly right now. Imagine not knowing how the Avengers Initiative got its name or how Nick Fury lost an eye. One of the most entertaining parts of any MCU movie are the easter eggs. There are so many of them. Yes, some of them are integral to the plot and can't be ignored but there are others that don't make much of a difference apart from getting a few oohs and aahs from the audience. Imagine watching 'Avengers: Endgame' and the guy beside you says, "I know how Captain Marvel got her powers" and you're just sitting there going, “whaaatttt…” Not going to be good for your reputation, right? There are quite a few questions answered in 'Captain Marvel' so you should give it a watch. You do want to retain the title of Mr Know-It-All when it comes to the MCU, right? © Disney Post-Credits Scene Marvel is the only production house who has figured out how to get the audience to stay glued to their seats until the very last credit has shown up on screen – post-credit scenes. Yes, we look forward to them almost as much as we do the movies themselves. There have been a few let downs in between with inconsequential post-credits scenes and it makes sense that the audience didn't expect much from 'Captain Marvel' as the credits rolled on to the screen. But, as usual, Marvel blew our socks off with just 5 seconds or so. Those 5 seconds are perhaps the reason 'Avengers: Endgame' will become the highest grossing movie of all time. Yes, those 5 seconds! You've probably watched the latest 'Endgame' trailer already. so you already have some more information on the movie but I'm not going to spoil anything for you if you haven't. Go watch the movie and then the trailer. It's absolutely worth it. © Disney It's A Great Nick Fury Origin Story Yeah, I couldn't resist saying it because it's the truth. We might not associate with Captain Marvel because she was just tossed into the mix recently but we know Fury. This is probably as close to a solo film the character will ever get. Do you see anyone complaining? I don't think so. Why? A young Nick Fury is a delight. So, even if you don't care about Carol Danvers, go watch the movie to learn more about Nick Fury. I know I've already said this a few times but, it's worth it. Considering the amount of money the movie is raking in, I don't think there are many who needed reasons to watch it. But, hopefully, for the few remaining 'rebels,' I hope I've been able to give you at least one reason to watch the movie.
  3. Honestly, Mark Ruffalo and spoilers go hand in hand. Sorry Mark, you brought this upon yourself. Our homeboy Mark over here is the weakest link when it comes to giving out spoilers and now, it's become one of the biggest Marvel memes. Well, he did actually give out 'Avengers: Infinity War' spoilers that one time and even got fake fired by the Russo Brothers after apparently giving out more spoilers. Everyone knows how to take advantage of Mark's weakness and have a lot of fun with it. Recently, Mark Ruffalo appeared on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' where Jimmy actually hooked him up to a lie detector test as he asked questions about 'Avengers: Endgame' because otherwise he's proven that he can't be trusted. Poor Mark was already so scared and even said, “I don't want to get fired again!” After basic test questions like 'what's your name' and stuff, then came the real deal, all the Avengers-based questions. Jimmy asked if the Hulk is actually secretly a shapeshifting alien called Skrulls? Remember Skrulls? From 'Captain Marvel'? Yep. Of course, the red light indicating that he's lying lit up. Does this mean he is a Skrull? Wait. What? Next up, “Are there any hidden clues in the latest 'Avengers' trailer that no one has figured out yet?” He was lying, we need to get to work now! Next question was about the Hulk's love life. Jimmy asked, “If Bruce Banner and Black Widow finally get together romantically in the new movie?” Well, are we getting a pairing no one asked for? Now, it's time for a question that he actually answered truthfully. “Is Don Cheadle sexier than you?” Well, he got one at least. Then come the big guns. After bringing out a The Hulk action figure, Jimmy straight up asks “Do you ever play with yourself?” Umm, it's okay Mark, we understand, but what are you doing? Now, the biggest question we've had since 'Infinity War' - “Is everyone who disappeared from the snap from Thanos actually gone or is there any way they can come back?” What an exit! Here's the entire video: He even talked about how everyone thinks Noah Centineo looks like a younger version of him. Well, Noah is on board about playing his dad. Son? https://t.co/PsRgpTmB17 — Noah (@noahcent) March 14, 2019 And then, Mark had some jokes on Instagram. 4. The Russo Brothers have finally shown some mercy and have given us another 'Avengers: Endgame' trailer! First of all, just watch, that's it. There's so much happening, but not enough happening at the same time. The new trailer has me a little too overwhelmed but after watching and re-watching this much-awaited trailer, here are the things that stood out to me. Okay, we can get through this, the trailer was incredible, as expected, and there's a lot to unpack here, which is not surprising since this is not just a Marvel movie, this is THE Marvel movie that will destroy all of us. Okay, rambling over. 1. Tony Stark Makes It Back To Earth! The question has been finally answered, Tony Stak and Nebula make it back to earth. He's ready to join the Avengers once again and if we don't get an emotional scene of Tony and Cap reuniting, I will personally fight the Russo Brothers. 2. Hawkeye Has A Mohawk Did he get it just because of the name? Why is he getting a new hairstyle in a basically post-apocalyptic world? Guess we'll find out. Also, damn he has a lot of footage in the trailer. 3. Nat's Red Hair Is Back Are they trying to show us the timeline with Black Widow's hair? We can see the blonde at the end of the trailer, then we can see her growing out her red hair and she has half blonde and half red and then in another scene, it's almost all red. 4. What's With All The Focus On Red? Why is all the red highlighted in the beginning when they're showing clips from the old MCU movies? What's the significance of the colour red? 5. The Matching Avengers Outfits They finally united, for real, and are now wearing matching suits. Thanos is shaking. Also, I want to know how they found their own Edna to design new clothes after the 'dusting'. 6. The Edited Out Person From The Teaser Was Tony Remember that moment of all of them walking in slo-mo from the teaser? We could see they had edited out someone from that scene and it was Tony and Nebula. 7. Thor 'Likes' Captain Marvel Carol Danvers may have not gotten approval from a lot of people who watched 'Captain Marvel' but she sure got Thor's and that's the only thing that matters. She doesn't even flinch when the Stormbreaker just swishes right past her face. Okay, April 27th cannot come fast enough.
  5. Tom Holland has done it again! And, if your mind didn't automatically go to giving spoilers right now, I'm sorry but you're not a true Marvel fan. Tom, along with Mark Ruffalo, are truly the best and the worst because of their tendency to give out spoilers. It's hilarious and even they know how much they screw up. Mark has reached a point where he's the one joking about it and was even fake fired by the Russo Brothers. And well, Tom is just Tom. View this post on Instagram Lmao same. #CommentsByCelebs A post shared by Comments By Celebs (@commentsbycelebs) on Jan 18, 2019 at 6:43pm PST But unfortunately, this is not the kind of spoiler he's given this time. Apparently, an old interview of him promoting 'Avengers: Infinity War' with Benedict Cumberbatch has resurfaced for a very important reason, as it basically confirmed a theory everyone already knew about. We knew that quantum realm will play an important part in the upcoming final Avengers movie, what with Scott Lang stuck there alone at the end of 'Ant Man And The Wasp' and then somehow appearing in the first trailer of 'Endgame', but obviously, Marvel will never confirm it. But thankfully, Tom did, and he did it before even 'Infinity War' released. Coming back to the interview and the unassuming spoiler, when both the actors were asked that out of the two, who flubbed the most lines, Benedryl Cucumber named himself but was Tom was quick to defend him. Tom said, “He has the most difficult lines, though. He has to talk about so much Quantum Realm... stuff. I just have to talk about, 'Yeah man, that's awesome!' So mine's easy, but his is all so difficult.” Well, back then a lot of people might have thought that it was an 'Infinity War' spoiler, but now we know Doctor Strange didn't mention quantum realm even once in that movie. This can only mean one thing, Doctor Strange is obviously coming back and he could also be the one to save Ant Man. Moreover, it seems like the quantum realm is the answer to all of the OG Avengers' problems and it will help undo Thanos' snap, and all the destruction it caused, and bring back all the 'dusted' characters. I can't stress this enough, but honestly, April 27th cannot come soon enough.
  6. We're all waiting for the release of 'Avengers: Endgame' and are also preparing for probably, permanently, losing a bunch of our favourite characters. But did you know there's another thing we need to prepare for? Our bladder-control, apparently. The runtime of the movie is 3 hours, which is not at all surprising considering that it's a culmination of 22 incredible movies and the final instalment of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So basically, the movie has to tackle a lot of things, take care of a lot of different characters and storylines, especially when we think about how they also have to somehow manage to bring back a lot of people (and then kill a lot of them again). But, don't worry, the movie is going to be so awesome that we will end up fighting a battle with our bladder, at least that's what the people who have already watched the movie experienced. Yes, some lucky bastards have already seen the movie while we have to wait till the end of April, but let's ignore that for now. While speaking to Collider about the test screenings, the Russo Brothers said, “I think the studio is down with what the best story is. Right now, we think the movie is playing well and we've had great responses from our test audiences and we're feeling very good about where it is. We're still doing work to it. We're not done with it. Again, this is a culmination film of 22 movies, it's a lot of storytelling to work into it. Emotion is an intrinsic part of that to us. When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. This one, in particular, feels like three hours worth of real estate.” Well, that sounds exciting, doesn't it? While talking about the audience's reactions and the possibility of an interval, they said, “We have screened the movie four times for audiences now. For the first three screenings, not a single person got up to go to the bathroom.” So, I just have to say one thing - Excitement? Check. Bladder? Double check. Come at me, Marvel!
  7. April seems like a far cry for any Marvel fan awaiting the release of the 'Avengers: Endgame' movie and rightly so. A few hours ago, during the Super Bowl, Marvel casually dropped an exciting bomb for fans when the latest teaser for the movie was released. The teaser obviously gives us a glimpse of the post Thanos-stricken world which almost looks like a post-apocalyptic universe--silent and dark. The Russo brothers know how to ace their direction in order to ensure that your adrenaline continues to pump harder. The heroes must unite to fight for whatever is left and that is exactly what shall happen. The real #SuperBowl champions. #AvengersEndgame pic.twitter.com/AQ9xBGUlpc — Jennifer Ann (@jnifferann) February 4, 2019 As expected, Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) make their appearances in the teaser. Oh and Tony Stark might have found a way to come back, or is that what we think? Fans are insanely excited about this one. I bet Tony sent that message to Pepper and 5 minutes later he decided that he ain't gonna die on that ship.#AvengersEndgame pic.twitter.com/PBfOM74pVE — bi-derman Kata ︽âµï¸½ (@IR0NSPIDEY) February 4, 2019 CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT #AvengersEndgame #superbowl #HalftimeHeat @MarvelStudios pic.twitter.com/ndQ9RdgirG — ! 8. Instead of the Avengers assembling, this time we had a pure moment of Marvel fans assembling to make a dying man's wish come true. A 33-year-old Marvel fan from Australia named Alexander is suffering from liver cancer, mouth cancer, and the rare genetic disease Fanconi anaemia which affects the bone marrow, and he thinks he could die before the official release of the movie 'Avengers: Endgame'. Being a huge fan, he decided to try his luck and asked people to help him get an early screening of the movie with a post on Reddit. But, he also noted he's “not a child or anyone with a particularly tragic story”, just a normal guy. He thought he would make it to April, but his “bone marrow is toast”. It's good to see that even with so much happening, Alexander hasn't lost his sense of humour since the Reddit thread is called “Dying Before April: My Endgame”. Obviously, anyone would do anything to catch an early screening of one of the most awaited movies, but this is a special case and all the Marvel fans united to get Marvel and Disney to take notice. The internet came together and the hashtag #Avengers4Alexander spread on Twitter. With an update on the original post, he informed everyone that even apparently Chris Hemsworth, God of Thunder himself is aware of the situation because “Australia is a small place, turns out I know a guy who knows a guy who is chums with Chris Hemsworth”. With so many well wishes coming his way, he also wrote, “I don't know what the outcome will be but this has been amazing. If it doesn't pan out don't sweat it - I'll carry your kind words with me and that's worth far more.” He also took a cheeky shot and said, “Lastly, I don't mean to be greedy but since I'm triple dying can we throw Captain Marvel into the mix?” With this request, he also shared a picture of his dog as a bribe. And then, it finally happened, Disney reached out to him and the whole thing turned into one of the those rare, beautiful internet moments where everyone works together. Sharing the exciting news, his last update on the Reddit post is - “Disney have reached out and we are discussing options. I cried when I read their email. It's everything I hoped for and I owe it to all of you.” People on Twitter are also very excited about his wish come true and have nothing but appreciation for everyone who held make it happen. A man will get his dying wish fulfilled. Thanks to the beautiful internet. 10 years back this wouldn't have been possible. This is some good stuff that we have achieved.https://t.co/xacO9U6KKc#avengers4alexander#avengersforalexander#AvengersEndGame #10yearchallenge — Anuj Godase (@dahelmetguy) January 19, 2019 Sometimes, it is. 9. When we talk about superheroes, we can't help but think of a few who've really proven their mettle and strength through some tested times. Wolverine definitely comes in the forefront and when we saw him in Logan last, we were literally heartbroken to learn that Wolverine would never be seen again or at least that what Hugh Jackman claimed back then. © Twitter But now, Google suggests that Wolverine will be coming back and making an appearance in the most awaited movie of 2019, 'Avengers: Endgame', and we're so stoked with this news, we're hoping it's pretty damn true! The news poured in when Google figured the most 'searched' part of the upcoming movie was 'famous Hugh Jackman films' and the result was obviously showing 'Avengers: Endgame'. Fancy that! © Walt Disney Studios Although we do hear that if Wolverine does present himself in the new Avengers, Hugh Jackman won't be playing him. That's absolutely uncool since we really can't imagine anyone else fitting into that role. So, if he needs to play the character one last time, it's no biggie right? Are you reading Hugh? But even so, the search engine still believes Jackman is part of Endgame regardless and has put all its hopes and desires into making that happen, and we're definitely rooting for the same. Well, why shouldn't we? Since Fox and Disney are heading for a merger anyway, the possibility of Wolverine, Deadpool and X-Men being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is very probable indeed! © Twitter Are you lost and confused? Well, why don't you open your favourite search engine and type 'Hugh Jackman' and see what comes up? Or we'll show it you. Here's a screenshot! © MensXP Sigh! This is what a good year is made up of and we really hope this is true!
  10. “MenXP, are you using internet explorer?” “Admin, the trailer came out like 10 days ago.” “Admin, keep up, we already know everything, you're late.” Before anyone comments anything like this, I'm saying sorry, yes everyone did the story as soon as the trailer comes out and not 11 days late like us, but at least better late than never. Thank you. The trailer is tragic, obviously, but it's still brilliant. I mean Marvel finally gave us the trailer but they made the trailer in such a way that you still can't figure out exactly what's happening. This has given rise to plenty of fan theories already and if you want to read about some of those, we'll have you covered, just check MensXP in the next few days for those. Coming back to the trailer, here are some things that stood out for me after watching (and rewatching, and rewatching, and rewatching…) the trailer and the things that might have been missed by some people when they watched the trailer. 1. The A in the title reveal 'reassembling' The title reveal in the trailer is pretty cool, to say the least, and it might be giving us a hint because Marvel doesn't do anything randomly, it's all calculated. Okay, just look at the A coming together, or rather reassembling, so it could be pointing to all the characters who turned to dust coming back together. Basically, the trailer might be telling us for sure that everyone will come back and honestly, that's the kind of positivity I need in my life. 2. Whose hand is that? The trailer sets it up to look like it's Nebula's hand on Tony Stark's shoulder but we all know Nebula's hand doesn't look like that and we all also know how misleading Marvel trailers can actually be. Well, my guess is that it's Captain Marvel there to save Tony since she's going to play a huge role in the movie. 3. Shuri also turned to dust in Infinity War It's kind of a blink and you miss it moment but when Bruce Banner is looking at Scott Lang's picture in the missing people database, you can see a slide with Shuri's face which quickly turns to Peter Parker. This kind of contradicts the assumptions people made about how Tony was getting help from Shuri because of some set pictures that showed Tony somewhere that looked like Wakanda. 4. Whose hand is it? Part two Seeing Peggy Carter's picture in the trailer was unexpected to say the least and again the trailer sets it up to look like Steve is actually holding that. But come on, it's not Steve's hand but rather a woman's. Could it be Natasha holding it? Is it foreshadowing Cap's death? 5. 'Endgame' has been mentioned not once but twice before 'Avengers: Infinity War' is still fresh in everyone's mind and so are Dr. Strange's words foreshadowing the title of this movie - “We're in the end game now.” But, it has been referenced in the Avengers movie preceding Infinity War as well. Yep, Tony said the line “That up there, that's the endgame” in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
  11. We were all desperately waiting for the 'Avengers 4' trailer and then when it came out, after watching it, someone basically thought, “hmm, it's good but it needs Deadpool to make it better” and I think that's beautiful. Just to clarify, no that someone wasn't Ryan Reynolds as we would expect (but I mean I am sure Ryan definitely did think that but we're talking about someone else right now). The original 'Avengers: Endgame' trailer was brutal, to say the least; Tony Stark is slowly dying in space, almost everyone is dead, Thor looks defeated, Captain America is crying. There's just too many bad things happening but this parody trailer kind of takes some of the pain away because it's Deadpool and you know it's going to be hilarious. Starting off, it's not Tony sending a message to Pepper, but Deadpool talking to a Wolverine mask, so basically already off the best start. “Part of journey is the end, and I'm mad at Fox we couldn't do a film together.” Then it goes on to giving the best description of Thanos ever - “purple Homer Simpson.” I mean, it's better than my purple grape. Then, back at Avengers HQ, we have Deadpool looking at the Deadpool or actually Wade Wilson being dead. Such a sad moment. © YouTube You know what was one of the best parts of the original trailer? Hawkeye's entry but Deadpool improved it. Forget Peggy Carter, we have Deadpool looking at Hugh Jackman, obviously. And then, Deadpool was blonde. “I hope this doesn't work.” “Let's hope it does because I don't want to see a fifth Avengers movie.” In the end, we get another name for Thanos - “That Bruce Willis looking asshole.” Here's the weirdest and best Avengers-Deadpool crossover you'll ever see:
  12. The Avengers don't need to be worried about Thanos at all because they have a much bigger rival who is there to prank them at every moment possible. I'm talking about a certain Red and Black superhero we all love. Deadpool and Ryan Reynolds are the biggest trolls ever and they use their trolling powers to good use to prank our favourite surviving Avengers and it's a great thing to see. Right after the biggest trailer for every Marvel fan came out - 'Avengers: Endgame' - Deadpool kind of stole the show a little bit, thanks to one of his fans. When the trailer came out, a bunch of people went to the website AvengersEndgame.com to know more, of course, but were greeted by something unexpected. Yep, it led to the official website of 'Once Upon A Deadpool'. Pretty neat prank, if you ask me, and it seems like Ryan himself could have been behind it, but nope, that wasn't the case. A Twitter user named @AGuyinChair took ownership of the hilarious prank and he also said that he owned both AvengersEndgame.com and AvengersEndgameMovie.com but will swap ownership of the domain for tickets to the film's premiere in Los Angeles. This is so cool that I'm mad I didn't think of it before, I wish I had the presence of mind to take all the domains so I could trade them for something cool from Marvel. While Marvel still seems to have some negotiations they have to do, Ryan Reynolds was quick to send a personal thank you gift to the guy in the chair because, well, who would appreciate a good trolling more than him? Package from @VancityReynolds just arrived! Wow! This thing is beautiful!!! ... And I will trade it immediately for 2 tickets to the #AvengersEndgame premiere! Any takers? pic.twitter.com/RPoEjBOJbl — Guy Inchair (@AGuyInChair) December 14, 2018 The guy in the chair just wants a chair at the 'Avengers: Endgame' premier and doesn't care about anything else. Wait, there's more stuff inside! Holy crap! There's stuff inside too! (These have got to be worth two tickets, right?) They're from Canada! Or a Canadian at the very least!! pic.twitter.com/3l1RXGMmF1 — Guy Inchair (@AGuyInChair) December 14, 2018 Even Ryan was happy to see that the guy in the chair received his gift and replied to his tweets saying something we would all love to hear from him. This isn't to say I'm proud of what you did. Just that I happen to love you. — Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) December 14, 2018 I know that wasn't for me but I love you too Ryan <3 The tweet was so powerful that the guy in the chair fell off his chair! pic.twitter.com/bzWirGNWrd — Guy Inchair (@AGuyInChair) December 14, 2018
  13. We all knew Captain Marvel was the last resort and also the last saving grace for the Avengers, when a disintegrating Nick Fury 'paged' her in the end credits of 'Infinity War'. Her importance in the upcoming 'Avengers: Endgame' shot by leaps and bounds following the incredible trailer of 'Captain Marvel', where we got a fair sense of what she is capable of – which is basically mind-blowing, boundless power. Even though I have been following Captain Marvel for a long time through comic books, and am fully aware of her powers, I can't help but confess that I was a wee bit doubtful if she would be of any help at all. Especially with Thanos now in possession of all the Infinity Gems- Soul Stone, Reality Stone, Mind Stone, Space Stone, Time Stone and Power Stone. However, Brie Larson, who is playing Captain Marvel just said something insanely awesome to put my doubts to rest and also confirmed that she is definitely going to bring the pain right to Thanos' doorstep. In an interview to TNT Brasil, when asked that even though Captain Marvel was among the strongest superheroes in the Marvel Universe, Thanos could probably give her a run for her money, Larson simply shrugged and said with a nonchalant expression, “he looks kinda shrimpy to me.” OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! MIC DROP!!!! Look at that face! Look at the confidence! That's the face of someone who KNOWS she is gonna kick some purple ass! Look at the choice of her words. 'Shrimpy'! I mean, come on. This is Thanos we are talking about. The dude who single-handedly wiped off like half of the MCU. Even Thor's Stormbreaker had zero effect on Thanos when the axe was embedded in his freaking chest (why didn't you go for the head? Goddamnit Thor!) So, given Larson's statement, I have no trouble believing she has something seriously terrible planned for the Mad Titan and is probably just counting the days for her encounter with 'shrimpy'. What do you guys think? Captain Marvel can take on Thanos? Or, is she also going to turn to crumbs? Let us know in the comment section.
  14. Here's something equally hilarious and sad for all the Avengers fans out there. The Avengers have a new enemy and this time it's not Thanos, it's Deadpool! Yes, you read that right. In what seems to be a disappointing yet funny account of hacking done right, the 'Avengers: Endgame' URL redirects the users to the 20th Century Fox's website for 'Once Upon A Deadpool', the upcoming re-release of 'Deadpool 2'. (c)Twitter Just hours after Marvel announced the first trailer of 'Avengers: Endgame', fans rushed to the website to check out more information on the movie, only be taken to Fox's 'Once Upon A Deadpool' website. The entire development is clearly a daredevil prank played by someone to mess around with the fans who were waiting for months in anticipation for the trailer of Endgame to come out. (c)Walt Disney Studios Needless to say, fans are still going helter-skelter trying to make the best of a bad situation by watching the newly released trailer a gazillion times just to figure out what is the most probable thing to happen in the movie. Currently, though it's unclear who is behind the URL redirect but shortly after the trailer came out, a Twitter account with the handle @AGuyintChair tweeted that he owned the domain and he was asking for a pair of tickets in exchange for giving up on the prank! Talk about a fair barter, eh? I own https://t.co/sQcc4R3sCq and https://t.co/spo7Bift9L. But I don't want them. I want to trade them for tickets to the #AvengersEndgame premiere in LA. A guy can dream, can't he? — Guy Inchair (@AGuyInChair) 7 December 2018 According to the records, the domain name was registered on Aril 27, the same day 'Avengers: Infinity War' released in theatres. Seems like this man has really thought this through to mess with the promotion of the film and earn himself some fame instead. We're still sceptical about why this URL was created in the first place since the Avengers and Deadpool belong to two separate entities. One is part of the MCU while the other is from Fox's X: Men Universe. So, is there really a connection for the prankster to try and connect the dots on purpose here? Or is he just baiting for free tickets? Maybe the two studios are trying to enhance some sort of cross-promotion for both the releases and they really don't want to say it out loud. Who knows, right? (c)Walt Disney Studios We all know that Disney is in the process of acquiring 21st Century Fox, which obviously has the rights to Deadpool and other X-Men characters. To probably make the transition smoother, it looks like the promotion for Deadpool has started out with a bang and how. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds made a bunch of jokes on the same and said "Time to uncork that explosive sexual tension between Deadpool and Mickey Mouse." to a popular publication. (c)20th Century Fox Who is to know why this redirection came through. For now, we can just try and connect the dots and find different variables describing the so-called 'prank' better. All we know is 'Once Upon A Deadpool' releases on December 12, 2018, while 'Avengers: Endgame' releases April 26, 2019.
