  1. It was an important day yesterday. Well, to be precise, the best Chris in Hollywood's birthday. Captain America is an integral part of Avengers and Chris Evans is an integral part of his MCU costars' life. Birthday wishes were pouring in from everywhere - even from us - and it was great to see everyone come together to celebrate this human golden retriever. Mark Ruffalo being cute like always. Happiest of birthdays to the fantastic @ChrisEvans ð¥³ð Love you, Bro. Always there when you need him. Wishing you all the best today! pic.twitter.com/WJT2kbudN5 — Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) June 13, 2019 Even Chris is happy and cute while replying. Awwww, buddy. You're a gem ð — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) June 13, 2019 And, Mark wasn't done. Glad you are here, man. — Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) June 13, 2019 Okay, that sounds a little serious, I hope everything's fine. Then comes another Chris wishing him, actually singing 'happy birthday' for him on air with Tessa Thompson. Since both Evans and Hemsworth are like BFFs, the school kids who had to be separated during interviews, I'm disappointed Hemsworth didn't post a goofy BTS picture for him. But now let's look at the birthday wish we were waiting for. Yes, Robert Downey Jr HAD to top every birthday wish Chris got yesterday. One of the best parts of 'Avengers: Endgame' was the whole Cap vs Cap scene, but do you remember how it ended? Yes, with Cap admiring his own ass. Well, even RDJ remembers and wished 'America's ass' a happy birthday. Happy birthday to America's ass. The world's a better place, and I owe you a kiss on the cheek! @ChrisEvans pic.twitter.com/iCFRSu0DIH — Robert Downey Jr (@RobertDowneyJr) June 13, 2019 Take the kiss, Chris! ðð — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) June 13, 2019 Like that. They are so cute together I'm really gonna miss them so muchðð pic.twitter.com/2yQMNH2QIb — Team Downey (@TeamDowney1965) June 13, 2019
  2. It's the best Chris in Hollywood's birthday, yay! What can I say about Chris Evans? He's a great actor, he's a great person, he's literally a golden retriever in human form. This near-perfect human being turned 38 today and we obviously need to celebrate him, and what better way than to look back at all of his best scenes from the MCU? Let's be real, he can do whatever role he wants, but he will always be Captain America (sorry, Anthony Mackie but that's what you get for a boring Black Mirror episode). As Cap, he's given us many incredible movies with unforgettable dialogues and scenes. While every scene with him is great, of course, I have listed out the best, most memorable scenes. Enjoy! Also, happy birthday, Cap! 1. The best Cap scene ever/ Hammer Time This scene, this freaking scene, is hands down the best MCU moment for me. I can watch it a hundred times and still be as excited as the first time. Such a crucial moment, Thanos is overpowering Thor and will probably kill him, but wait, in comes Cap to show he's worthy. Nothing can top this. 2. Cap vs Cap Another great 'Endgame' scene that we didn't know he needed until it actually happened. From “I can do this all day” “yeah, I know, I know” to “Bucky is alive” to “this IS America's ass”, the whole Cap vs Cap fight scene was perfect, nothing can make it better. 3. “There's only one God” What a dialogue, what a way to introduce Thor in 'The Avengers', and Steve being Steve and jumping out of planes. Also, him calling Natasha 'ma'am' proving he really is from the 40s. 4. When he blocks Thor's hammer Well, now we know how and why he could do this. He's also so worthy! Also, the moment Thor realizes they're not some random people. 5. Lift scene(s) A great scene from an overall great movie. The 'lift scene' is so memorable, it's so well done. Anyone should be afraid of getting into a lift with Chris Evans - or make fun of it - but either way, it's still one of the best MCU scenes till date and that's why there was a callback to that in 'Endgame' as well. Cap saying 'Hail Hydra' will never not be funny to me. 6. Cap is strong, like very very strong If you were not even a little turned on by Chris Evans' muscles and strength in this scene, then you're not human and you're also lying. The guy is so freaking strong, he literally could stop a fucking helicopter from flying. Strongest Avenger right here, people. Hulk who? 7. Nomad Cap! You cannot tell me that Cap's entry in 'Infinity War' wasn't one of the best scenes in a movie filled with incredible scenes. To be honest, it was the perfect way to introduce the newest Avenger - Captain America's cool new beard (and no I'm not talking about Peggy or Sharon). 8. AVENGERS…assemble Well, we started with 'Endgame' and we'll end with 'Endgame', obviously. This might not be a long scene but it's a damn powerful one. Everyone who got dusted is back - which again was a visual treat in itself - but when Cap comes in front and does what he does best - lead - it was just great to watch. Also, it was the last time these Avengers will ever assemble and the added emotional aspect makes it an unforgettable scene from the entire MCU.
  3. The lengths Marvel and the Russo Brothers had to go to not spoil the 'Endgame' is honestly unbelievable. From not telling the actors who their character is actually fighting to just lying them about what's happening in the scene, they've done everything to stop everyone - especially Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland - from accidentally spoiling the major, most crucial parts of the movie. We've heard so many things about 'Avengers: Endgame' in that one entire year between 'Endgame' and 'Infinity War' and one of those things was that literally everyone would be together to shoot one scene. People thought it was going to be a wedding, probably Tony's wedding since he talked about it in 'Infinity War', but we were so so wrong. Well, at least we weren't the only ones who were kept in the dark and even all the actors were told they are filming a wedding scene and not Tony Stark's freaking funeral. Mark Ruffalo finally can share his thoughts about this. We're filming a wedding, they said. #TBT #AvengersEndgame pic.twitter.com/6u7PX0WZO4 — Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) June 6, 2019 In Marvel's defence, I guess weddings and funerals are almost the same, just slightly different, right? Even Chris Evans joined in with all the behind-the-scenes posting and gave us more hilarious videos. Here's part one. https://t.co/GsVI3hoB7x pic.twitter.com/CfNXwNPbH6 — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) June 6, 2019 And, part two. So organized. Part 2 https://t.co/GsVI3hoB7x pic.twitter.com/yHwsrWRljr — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) June 6, 2019 Was just everyone on their phones? And is Chris Hemsworth being the sincere kid saying phones aren't allowed? Even Mark has something to say about Chris' videos. Yes, sorry Barry. Sorry Barry ðpic.twitter.com/FtT2WbitAD — Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) June 7, 2019 Yes, everyone's taking the rule so seriously. We took the "no camera" rule VERY seriously. pic.twitter.com/6pGIcoD2Xd — Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) June 7, 2019 But, the best, most hilarious comments were in the replies. Oh look, the wedding happened. Yeah pic.twitter.com/nIRupJqzo7 — Celeste (@cleveteen98) June 6, 2019 Where is her funeral, Marvel? pic.twitter.com/k3qGRLdti1 — Ally ‎⧠︽âµï¸½ (@marvelxtina) June 6, 2019 Everyone looks at him like that. pic.twitter.com/9duRJYhKuE — ailsa (@comeonperry) June 6, 2019 The best reaction picture. 4. Spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk. In the final scene of 'Avengers: Endgame', Captain America, who is now old and grey after returning the Infinity Stones to their respective timelines, hands over his iconic Vibranium shield away to Sam. But, here's the thing: this scene might not be the end of the first Avenger. In a recent interview, 'Endgame' directors Joe and Anthony Russo have hinted towards the return of Chris Evans as Captain America. This may not come as a surprise considering the number of Easter eggs in the movie. © Marvel While speaking to a leading publication about Captain America, the Russo brothers spoke about Captain's solo trip back in time to return the Infinity Stones to their original places. But, in the present, he arrives as an old man, who used his second chance to finally live his life with the love of his life, Peggy Carter for their happy ever after. So, the obvious question here is was Captain America living in the past this whole time? Turns out, in his time travels, he found another dimension to live in with Agent Carter. “If Cap were to go back into the past and live there, he would create a branched reality,” Joe Russo said. “The question then becomes, how is he back in this reality to give the shield away?” he added. © Getty Images Which is what we wondered too. But here's how they responded to that. “Maybe there's a story there," he said, a big hint that his journey is not over yet. "There's a lot of layers built into this movie," he continued, "and we spent three years thinking through it, so it's fun to talk about it and hopefully fill in holes for people so they understand what we're thinking.” Obviously, we did not get any confirmations. But the answers clearly leave a big room for the possibility of a 'Captain America 4' someday, maybe. How else do we join the dots? And to tell this story and fill the gaps, Evans could possibly return to the franchise, hopefully. His best friend, Bucky Barnes could possibly know the behind story, considering the way he bid goodbye to Cap. Is it possible that they met in the past? What do you guys think?
  5. Who is a BFF? The one who's grown up taking all our crap, negating all the bad stuff around us, making life awesome and keeping secrets like no one else could, right? Yes, but in the adult and the rich world of Hollywood, BFF goals are all of these and besides staying through each other's thick and thin, our favourite Hollywood stars also shower their best friends with some insane gifts. For instance, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans are not just 'Avengers' colleagues but very thick bros in real life as well. Get ready to witness the madness of the 'Avengers' journey next weekend, because the wait is just getting crazier.
  6. Marvel has given us a lot of friendship goals, and not just on-screen. The entire cast, especially the OG Avengers, love each other and are always very wholesome and pure on social media. They never shy away from showing how close they are to each other. While most of the time, we're focussed on Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr and their Twitter bromance, there's someone else out there taking over RDJ's spot as the best BFF for Chris. Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans have always had such a cute friendship and it's so underrated, to be honest. But, we have to thank Mark Ruffalo for bringing it up again and getting this friendship the recognition it deserves. Recently, Mark shared this behind the scenes picture from the sets of 'Avengers: Endgame'. #FBF to our long days on the #AvengersEndgame set ð¾ @ChrisEvans Only 2ï¸â£ more weeks to go! pic.twitter.com/yNYSUhHi6v — Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) April 12, 2019 It obviously got a lot of people excited in the replies but the best reply came from Chris himself. 7. Chris Evans is really out there playing with everyone's emotions and if he keeps it up, he'll be demoted to the second best Chris is Hollywood for me. But, for real, the biggest question and the scariest thing about 'Avengers: Endgame' is the fate of the OG Avengers especially Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. Everyone is 90% sure that this movie would be the last Marvel movie for both of them but this is still not confirmed. Everyone is already dreading and crying about Captain America's possible death in 'Endgame' and Chris himself is not making things better for the fans. First, it was his emotional tribute to Cap on the last day of filming and now he's basically joking about Cap dying in interviews. ICYMI, he opened up about a lot of different things in his interview with The Hollywood Reporter recently, talking about everything from Avengers to hating Trump to his retirement rumours. The main part any Marvel fanboy could focus on was his jokes about death, of course. When the interviewer jokingly asked him about the ending of 'Avengers: Endgame', he said, “Yeah, I wish I could. Uh, it's — I mean — it's a good one. It's a real good one. I saw, like, the first hour of it.” The joke continues and he's asked whether it was till Cap's death, and he said, “Right, exactly. After I die by Tony's hand, I just said, You know what? I can't watch this.” Chris, you're on thin fucking ice, don't even joke about it like that. But, also I guess he's the only one allowed to joke about it. Towards the end, he's back with this Cap's death bullshit, and I personally want to go fight him for playing with our emotions this much. He revealed that even he choked up three times while watching the movie because it's that good. Well, looks like we're all going to be bawling our eyes out in the theatre now. The interviewer kept up the joke and asked him if he cried because Cap dies, he said, “Right, it's hard. Seeing my own death. It's going to be a long movie, that's for sure. The first edit clocked in over three hours. My funeral's like an hour.” Chris, this is for you- Well, at least he can't get fired now.
  8. Robert Downey Jr does what he wants, obviously, and what he wanted to do this time was find the ultimate Marvel 'stache. Yep, the science bros are going up against their technologically backward friend and the once upon a time owner of the best pornstache. Ok this time it's real—Who wore it best, @ChrisEvans @MarkRuffalo? pic.twitter.com/EyrKGKVfem — Robert Downey Jr (@RobertDowneyJr) March 20, 2019 I'm sure Chris Evans is not happy about his pornstache making the rounds again. Remember this? This is clearly an act of aggression. There are literally hundreds of photos to choose from. What did I ever do to you, Canada? https://t.co/3sAEARiTq4 — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) February 12, 2019 Mark Ruffalo was already ready with a collage of his pictures. 9. I believe that Chris Evans is the most superior Chris in Hollywood - sorry Hemsworth, not so sorry Pratt - and I'm not the only one. Even Iron Man himself seems to agree. Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans have one of the best bromance I have ever seen and they both never shy away from a little PDA. From sharing memes of each other to some old-fashioned trolling, the two OG Avengers know how to keep themselves and their fans entertained, even when they're not on the big screen. While 'Avengers: Endgame' may be the last Marvel movie these both superheroes appear in, we can at least take some comfort in the fact that they will always be BFFs and will always give us quality Twitter content. Case in point, RDJ's latest tweet, which is about, any guess? The best Chris, of course. BFFs let you share their umbrellas, right @ChrisEvans ? pic.twitter.com/1nJoJrFkZr — Robert Downey Jr (@RobertDowneyJr) March 13, 2019 Look, he's also saying BFFs. 10. Chris Evans is the most superior Chris in Hollywood, no one can fight me on that. Sorry, Hemsworth, not so sorry, Pratt. Basically, we all know he's the best Chris but he's still always so adamant on proving that. Or maybe, the more plausible reason is that he's just that great of a person and he's just doing what's right. I mean, after all, he didn't become for Captain America for no reason. During the Oscar ceremony last night, actually this morning for us, Chris showed everyone once again what a gentleman he is and him just being him, obviously won everyone over. What happened was that, Chris was seated right next to Regina King and her mother. Regina was nominated - and then won - the Academy Award for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role for 'If Beale Street Could Talk'. As she was getting up, it was followed by a standing ovation which was led by Chris of course, and it looked like she stumbled a little bit because of her dress. Then, Chris being Chris was already there to help her. Aww, look at that. What a guy! It's also not the first time he has been this sweet and literally won everyone's hearts. People have been just talking about this moment and what a gentleman he really is and he knows it. That means a lot coming from my on-screen mom :) https://t.co/XnyHTj8nY0 — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) February 25, 2019 Tell me also, please. 11. All the accolades Captain America has, it's not only because he's the first Avenger. He's quite the looker, and anyone who disagrees is jealous or need to get their eyes checked. He can easily give even the glorious God of Thunder a run for his money in terms of the 'looks' department, and in real life, he's perhaps the ultimate fashion superhero who owns all the other Avengers. 12. It looks like Chris Evans is having some trouble distinguishing himself from his character of Steve Rogers and he's like a 1940s guy stuck in this decade. I mean, that's the only explanation for his mini-rant about technology. Actually, he's trying to make it more current by saying 'remember the 90s', but you get the point. Dear All Technology, Remember the 90's when you just WORKED??? I don't need a 'smart' feature on my TV, thermostat, lights, music, refrigerator, security cameras, and f-ing car. You're a major pain in all of our asses. You're not worth it. Signed, Everyone — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) January 7, 2019 Hey Cap, language! Also, he's spoken truly like a guy who was frozen for 70 years and then woke up in the 21st century. Old man Cap is done with all this modern technology and is becoming the biggest cliché by the whole 'only 90s kids remember' kind of tweet. Chris, it's kind of worth it, don't dismiss all the modern technology around you to become a grumpy grandpa just yet. But the best thing to come out of this tweet was the reunion of Science Bros, aka Robert Downey Jr and Mark Ruffalo, who are here to rescue Cap, or at least teach him some things. hey @MarkRuffalo looks like Cap needs a little tutoring from the science bros. — Robert Downey Jr (@RobertDowneyJr) January 8, 2019 See Chris, don't go against Tony Stark when it comes to technology, you don't want to start another 'Civil War', do you? Along with RDJ, a lot of people decided to troll Cap and we got some hilarious replies: Even Elon Musk enjoyed Chris' rant. 13. There are only two things Chris Evans does on Twitter - make fun of or call out US President Donald Trump and his incompetency and the other thing is talking about his adorable dog, sharing pictures of his dog and just making everyone fall more in love with him and his dog. It really is the most wholesome account on the website and it's great to see how much Chris loves his doggo. Captain America himself is almost like a dog and no wonder there's an entire account dedicated to comparing Chris and several golden retrievers, proving he's also a good pupper. Coming back to Chris' account, he's shared many pictures and videos of Dodger; so we compiled everything we could find to make everyone's day better. Enjoy because Chris and Dodger deserve all the love! Who will? Dodger has a lion that he loves dearly. He brings it to bed every single night. Yesterday, my buddy Josh bought him a new lion for Xmas. 14. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman love each other, like really really love each other. Sorry Blake, seems like your husband is into another man. When it comes to the fans, everyone loves them separately as superheroes but everyone loves them even more together and Ryan is also a huge Deadpool-Wolverine fan, because he's always trying his best to make that crossover happen. 16. While we're still lucky to get to see Chris Evans as Captain America on the big screen one more time, the actor has officially retired from playing this iconic character. It was a sad day for all of us when he tweeted an emotional tribute to Cap. Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful. — Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) October 4, 2018 Now, Chris has also opened up about what his last day on set was like, so yeah, it's final, he really will be gone after 'Avengers 4'. Talking about his last day on set, he said, “That last day of filming really was a very emotional day. It was the culmination of almost 10 years of filming and 22 movies — this unbelievable tapestry — and you feel a lot more emotions than I think even I thought I'd feel, and I felt it was appropriate to share the gratitude. I know it had a ripple effect, but I am neither confirming nor denying anything.” He has played this amazing character for years but turns out, his final scene as Cap was nothing special. It was a reshoot, some minor scene that needed fixing. That's a little disappointing but it's okay; I'm sure he has so many more memories playing the character that will stay with him always. He even went on to say his last line was not that proud of a moment. He said, “It was something really stupid, it was something really dumb. Which I also probably can't give away. Well, you know, it was reshoots, so you're doing these little picks and pops, and it's just little things that they need. It might have been a line to Paul Rudd. He wasn't there, but it was a stupid line. The line wasn't memorable to me [laughs]. The day was more memorable than the line.” Well, it still sounds exciting to me! We should all try to figure out which line it was when the movie is finally out next year. Also, I'm just going to leave this here. chris evans on his first day on set and on his last shoot ð pic.twitter.com/KMEkztvcI8 — captain* (@iamgeekingout) October 13, 2018 Coming back to Chris' tweet, he promised everyone he did not, in any way, give away any spoilers. Yes people, he's not Mark Ruffalo or Tom Holland, he's a part of the small group of actors who get the entire script beforehand. Let's all begin preparing for Captain America making his last appearance in MCU now. Goodbye Cap, we'll miss you!
  17. Have you ever wondered why Chris Evans loves dogs so much? I know, I know, it's a stupid question, everyone loves dogs, well almost everyone, but still. The reason is that he is almost a dog himself. No, I'm not saying it in any disrespectful way or anything. The most important Twitter account on the website – Chris Evans as Golden Retrievers – has been going viral recently, and for all the right reasons. It's an account we didn't know we wanted but turns out, we desperately needed. The person behind the account is doing a brilliant job finding golden retrievers doing the exact same pose as our beloved Cap over here and it's just so heartwarming to see. Also, shoutout to this account for two things – one is the perfect handle, @retrievans and for doing God's work and giving us quality content. 18. All good things come to an end, that's the rule of life, even if we don't want it that way. Excuse us for getting all sentimental, but we have good enough reason. Chris Evans, who has been an integral part of Marvel, has announced his departure from the franchise. It's beyond difficult to imagine the Marvel Cinematic Universe without Captain America, but his exit from the world of superhero movies was inevitable. We had expected Steve Rogers to die in 'Avengers: Infinity War' and were kind of prepared for it (not really), but Marvel pulled one on us and killed everyone except for the OG Avengers. But now that 'Avengers 4' has wrapped up shooting, it's finally getting real that this will be the last movie with a lot of our favourite characters. Fans can't help but get a lump in their throats. Chris Evans' heartfelt tweet isn't helping with all the feels right now either. Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least.
