  1. The first renders of the upcoming Galaxy S21 have now surfaced online and it looks like the phone we’ve been speculating about. The leak comes from Twitter user Ice Universe who is known for accurate Samsung leaks way before it becomes official by the South Korean giant. This is the first time we’ve seen the Galaxy S21 in detail which shows off a few of the features that weren’t leaked before. © Twitter_Ice Universe The most controversial design choice has been the camera module that wraps around the body of the smartphone and blends in with the device. Since this is a leak based on the CAD drawings of the Galaxy S21+, it is safe to assume the smaller Galaxy S21 might also use the same design albeit smaller in size. The renders also show that the smartphone will come with a triple-camera setup at the back, however no other detail about the sensors were revealed. View the full article
  2. Apple has finally revealed the launch date of the next iPhone at its upcoming event on October 13, however it will not be the only thing the company will be launching. While the main focus will be the new iPhone, Apple is gearing to launch several accessories alongside the phones as well. While many of the products have been rumoured to launch, Apple did something last week that made it even more plausible. © Twitter_ Jon Prosser In the case of Ultimate Ears, there were rumours of Apple launching a smaller HomePod that would be a direct competitor to what Ultimate Ears offers. The smaller HomePod will look similar to its bigger variant, however the fact that Apple removed Bluetooth speakers that somewhat resembles Apple’s own offering, shows that Apple is gearing up to sell their own audio products. It was not only Ultimate Ears that took the fall as Apple also removed popular smart speaker brand ‘Sonos’ from their portfolio as well. “The Cupertino, California-based technology giant has long sold third-party hardware on its website, one of the largest e-commerce operations in the world. All headphones and speakers from Bose, speakers from Logitech’s Ultimate Ears brand, and Sonos’s latest smart speaker disappeared from Apple’s online store at the end of last month..” Apple said in a statement. This is not the first time Apple has removed competing products from their stores as the Cupertino giant did something similar with fitness trackers. All fitness trackers were removed from Apple Stores ahead of the launch of the first Apple Watch. These moves can only prove one thing, Apple will be launching these accessories alongside the new iPhone next week at its annual event. Apple has already announced a new lineup of iPads and Apple Watch which means the company has a lot more in store for customers next week. If you want to know more in detail about what Apple could launch at this event, check out our full prediction here. View the full article
  3. Moviegoers can rejoice now as the central government has given its nod to the reopening of cinema halls in the country from October 15 onwards. © BCCL It looks like our lives are slowly inching towards normalcy after months and months of tumultuous times owing to the COVID-19 global health scare. On Tuesday, the Central Government issued guidelines for the reopening of cinema halls and multiplexes from October 15. As per the new Unlock 5 guidelines, cinemas and multiplexes have been allowed to reopen with 50 per cent seating capacity. © BCCL Besides, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) also released Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which need to be followed by all cinema halls and multiplexes. What To Expect Regarding The New Guidelines In Place According to the latest guidelines, cinemas, theatres and multiplexes will be allowed to reopen from October 15, almost seven months since nationwide lockdown was imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, auditoriums will be allowed to operate with only 50 per cent seating capacity. © BCCL Also, the new guidelines give much importance to social distancing. Under the SOPs, adequate physical distancing is mandatory while seating – this in effect means every alternate seat will have to be kept vacant and clearly marked. Despite all these measures in place by the government, there is no denying the fact that it is equally our responsibility as well to ensure we take adequate precautions to keep us and our fellow human beings totally safe. © Reuters Moreover, theatres will also have to provide provisions for sanitisers and handwashing facilities. And the use of the Aarogya Setu app is encouraged and all cinema-goers will have to go through thermal screening before entry. Only asymptomatic individuals will be allowed to enter, as per the guidelines. Will We Get Tickets At The Box Office? Even though the box office counters will continue to remain open, the ministry has encouraged online bookings, as far as possible. Box office counters, the guidelines state, will remain open throughout the day and advance booking will be allowed so as to avoid crowding. Further, floor markers will be placed to guide physical distancing as well as for queue management. And it is important we adhere to these measures strictly. What About Food And Beverages Inside The Theatre? © pexels The government has advised movie-goers to avoid moving during intermission and, as per the guidelines, no delivery of food and beverages will be allowed inside the auditorium. Only packaged food and beverages will be sold and also the number of food counters will be increased so as to prevent long queues. Now you would not have to wait in long queues forever to get your favourite popcorn tub. Yay! Here Are Some More Changes © Reuters As far as the show timings are concerned, cinema halls will now have staggered show timings so as to prevent a large gathering outside the auditoriums before a film begins. © picxy The box office and other areas will also need to be regularly sanitised. Inside the halls, the temperature setting of all air conditioners will be between 24-30 degrees Celsius. Besides, public service announcements on wearing masks, physical distancing and hand hygiene will also be made before and after the screening as well as during the intermission. You may also be required to provide your phone number at the cinema hall in order to aid in contact tracing should the need arise. Here, we reiterate that despite all these necessary preventive measures in place, the onus of safety not just lies with the government but also with us as we all should stand in solidarity in this battle against the COVID-19 pandemic. So, which movie are you planning on catching first on the big screen? View the full article
  4. The ongoing coronavirus outbreak outbreak may have stalled things worldwide, it's safe to say that 2020 has seen kickass smartphones. We've already seen a ton of new phones that have come out so far this year, and the new OnePlus phones are next in line. While we don't exactly know when these new OnePlus phones will come out amidst all the chaos, we do have the specification details of the phones. Thanks to a tipster, we now have the complete specs of both the OnePlus 8 as well as the OnePlus 8 Pro. That's not the final design of the upcoming OnePlus phones. View the full article
  5. Explainer: What to expect at Harvey Weinstein's New York rape trialNEW YORK: Jury selection begins on Tuesday in the rape trial in New York of Harvey Weinstein, once one of Hollywood’s most powerful producers. He has pleaded not guilty to charges of rape and criminal sexual assault. Here is what to expect from the trial:WHO ARE THE ACCUSERS?More than 80 women have publicly accused Weinstein, 67, of sexual misconduct, helping to fuel the #MeToo movement over the last two years. The criminal charges against him refer to just three accusers. Mimi Haleyi, a former production assistant on a Weinstein Company television show, has said that Weinstein forcibly performed oral *** on her in his Manhattan home in July 2006. Actress Annabella Sciorra, best known for her role on HBO’s The Sopranos, has said Weinstein raped her in her Manhattan apartment in 1993. Prosecutors have accused Weinstein of raping another woman in March 2013 in Manhattan. She has not been publicly identified. Weinstein has said that any sexual encounters he had were consensual. WHAT ARE THE CHARGES?Weinstein is charged with a criminal sexual act in the first degree against Haleyi, and with rape for the 2013 allegation. He is charged with predatory sexual assault over both allegations. Sciorra’s allegation is too old to be the basis of a separate charge, but is a crucial part of the predatory sexual assault charges, which require prosecutors to establish a pattern of serious *** crimes against multiple women. Predatory sexual assault is the most serious charge against Weinstein, carrying a maximum sentence of life in prison. WHO WILL TESTIFY AGAINST WEINSTEIN?Haleyi, Sciorra and the 2013 accuser are almost certain to testify in a trial that is expected to last up to eight weeks. Prosecutors may also call three other women to testify about encounters with Weinstein, even though he is not formally charged with crimes against them. Their testimony is intended to bolster the charges by showing that Weinstein had a consistent pattern of behavior. Prosecutors have also said that they expect to call Barbara Ziv, a professor at Temple University in Pennsylvania, to testify as an expert on the trauma resulting from sexual assault. WHAT IS WEINSTEIN’S DEFENSE?While criminal defendants and their lawyers typically avoid revealing their strategy before trial, Weinstein has dropped some hints. Weinstein’s lead lawyer, Donna Rotunno, told Reuters that Weinstein had a “slew of witnesses ready to go.” She has said the defense would be introducing emails and text messages to prove that Weinstein’s accusers maintained relationships with him after his alleged assaults. His lawyers have also said they plan to call psychologist Deborah Davis, of the University of Nevada, Reno, to testify as an expert on memory, suggesting that Weinstein may try to call his accusers’ recollections into question. WHAT OTHER LEGAL RISKS DOES WEINSTEIN FACE?Even if he is acquitted in Manhattan, Weinstein faces separate criminal charges announced on Monday by prosecutors in Los Angeles. Lawyer Rotunno declined immediate comment on those charges. Weinstein was charged with sexually assaulting two unidentified women in 2013, said Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey. He was charged with raping one woman and sexually assaulting the other.
  6. In a whirlwind turn of events at Tottenham Hotspur in the last 12 hours, Mauricio Pochettino's five-and-a-half-year tenure came to a shocking and, to some, discomforting end, late on 19th November. The London-based club, early on Wednesday, announced in a statement that they will be parting ways with the Argentine to make way for Jose Mourinho on a three-and-a-half-year deal as his replacement. Pochettino's shocking dismissal comes less than six months after leading Spurs to world football's biggest club match - the UEFA Champions League final - which they eventually lost 2-0 to Liverpool last season. It was the same match whose result had instigated Mourinho, who watched the game as an analyst on a sports panel after losing the Manchester United job, to claim that Pochettino lacked that winning mentality when it truly counted. But, there is no dearth of Pochettiono's contributions to Spurs during his tenure as their manager. The 47-year-old was at the helm for 293 games and delivered four successive top-four Premier League finishes, challenging for the title in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 season. And, needless to mention, he took the club to its first Champions League final last term. © Reuters However, despite the team's heroics in their best ever Champions League last season, Spurs endured a dismal start to their Premier League season, winning just three out of their 12 games so far. With just 14 points to their name, the club, that was expected to be in the top four, now finds itself languishing at the lowly 14th spot in the EPL points table - something that forced Spurs to take the unexpected decision. “We were extremely reluctant to make this change. It is not a decision the board has taken lightly, nor in haste. Regrettably, domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing,” Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy. “It falls on the board to make the difficult decisions – this one made more so given the many memorable moments we have had with Mauricio and his coaching staff – but we do so in the club's best interests,” he added. For a manager whose influence allowed the club to punch above their weight, Pochettino's surprise sacking was quite understandably met with immediate and immense criticism. But, while football pundits and fans rued the Argentine's axing, it was Spurs' decision to appoint the Portuguese which left many bemused. © Reuters "In Jose, we have one of the most successful managers in football. He has a wealth of experience, can inspire teams and is a great tactician. He has won honours at every club he has coached. We believe he will bring energy and belief to the dressing room,” Levy claimed. Labelled as "one of the world's most accomplished managers", Mourinho has won 25 senior trophies, including a domestic title in a record four different countries. He has also won the Champions League title twice with two clubs. He now adds Spurs to a long list of previous clubs he has managed including FC Porto, Internazionale, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United. While there is no doubt over the illustrious managerial career of the Portuguese, it is Mourinho's knack for being controversial that has often scared football clubs in approaching him. His career has witnessed numerous fall-outs with players and coaching staff of his former clubs, most recent being United who eventually axed him in December last year. So, he's surely not the right man for the job at Spurs, right? Well, not really. If anyone has followed Mourinho in the capacity of a manager over the years, they wouldn't have to think twice before saying he has a tendency of creating problems, often for the club that has hired him, than the opposition. There is little doubt over his egoistic, and often selfish, approach to press conferences where he doesn't seem to shy away from blaming the players. He is definitely not the nice guy and his idea of playing football is often deemed boring. © Reuters But, despite all the frailties, no one can literally argue his capabilities as a manager. The Portuguese might not be the nicest guy around as a manager, but he surely gets the job done. There is also adequate strength of character one needs to cope in management. Apart from that, if one was to look at his appointment purely on the basis of stats, they wouldn't be disappointed either. For starters, Mourinho has won the league title in every country where he has managed, ranging from Portugal, England, Italy and Spain - something that thoroughly highlights he's a proven winner. Mourinho has won more competitive matches (13) against Spurs during his managerial career than any other side on the opposing end. When compared with the outgoing Pochettino, Mourinho's points per game ratio at United (1.89) was exactly the same as the Argentine at Spurs in the Premier League - something that doesn't make him better, but surely not worse either. The head-to-head stats also work in the Portuguese favour. In the 16 matches (in all competitions) against each other, Pochettino managed to win a mere four games and lost 11 clashes versus Mourinho. In fact, the Argentine has lost most matches in his managerial career against Mourinho than any other coach. If the stats are anything to go by, Mourinho clearly emerges as the more decorated manager between the two. But, past achievements surely can't dictate or even predict the future. There is no certainty that the Portuguese will take Spurs to the promised land which has eluded them over the years. But, it also doesn't mean that Spurs must persist with Pochettino who seems to have lost his Midas touch, both on the touchline and in press conferences. © Reuters For so long, Spurs under Pochettino appeared to be a team on the rise, with everyone marching in unison towards the same goal of delivering tangible long-term success to the club. But the cracks in the facade started to show earlier this season and Pochettino did as much as anybody to inflict the damage. Following their Carabao Cup defeat to Colchester United earlier this year, Pochettino spoke of "different agendas" within his squad and the need to "build togetherness" among "unsettled" players. Since the Spurs' Champions League final loss, Pochettino has admitted he would have quit had his team won the title in Madrid. He has complained about the club's transfer policy and has been heavy-handed in his dealings with midfielder Christian Eriksen. Turn the clock back just over 12 months and you can find similarities between Pochettino's approach this season and Mourinho's during what turned out to be his final six months at Old Trafford. Harmony went out of the window and Pochettino became increasingly outspoken, both against his bosses in the boardroom and the players in the dressing room - something Mourinho has drawn ire for over the years. © Reuters As reflected in Mourinho's stint at both Chelsea and United previously, the path of confrontation and criticism often leads to players switching off from the instructions of their manager and the only way to solve that problem is by changing one or the other. And, Spurs' management seems to have opted for the latter. While many have offered their criticism on the latest turn of events at Spurs, the move to sack Pochettino, as claimed by chairman Levy, does appear to be in the "club's best interests". The club could have probably waited for the season to get through to take the call, but with the transfer window approaching, they probably wanted to give Mourinho enough time to build his own team - one that can help him and the club in reclaiming their reputation. So, despite all his drawbacks (including his condescending remarks), we can all argue about the appointment of Man Utd's failed boss (only in opinion) as the new Spurs manager, but the fact is, Mourinho still remains the wild card you'd want to pick in hopes of bringing in a positive change, rather than continuing with Pochettino and watch the dressing room turn into a toxic environment before a bitter fallout. 7. After rocking the industry with his smash-hit movie, Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is set to make a comeback soon as he will be seen stepping into the shoes of a cricketer in the Hindi remake of the hit Telugu film Jersey. The film will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who was also the director of the Telugu version of the film. The original film starred noted actor Nani. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the first look and wrote, “Shahid Kapoor begins prep for the role of a cricketer in the #Hindi remake of #Telugu film #Jersey... The #Hindi version will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who also helmed the original #Telugu version, starring Nani... 28 Aug 2020 release.” Check out the tweet here: In the picture, you can see Shahid in flannels and a headband as he holds a cricket bat. As the first picture of the actor as a cricketer is out now, fans are excited to see him nail this character as well and are confident that he will do justice to the role. Check out the reactions: What a movie Jersey was, too many emotions in one movie, a complete film, #Nani Salute to your natural acting, I wish Shahid will be at par. #Jersey All the best #ShahidKapoor — ravindra verma (@ricky2great) November 1, 2019 Another blockbuster loading for @shahidkapoor — Saiteja Akinapelly (@I_saiteja_) November 1, 2019 BLOCKBUSTER. — Shahid's SuperFan© (@ShahidsSuperFan) November 1, 2019 BLOCKBUSTER. — Shahid's SuperFan© (@ShahidsSuperFan) November 1, 2019 Man, He looks promising. — Syed imran (@syedrocko) November 1, 2019 Talking about the film, Shahid told IANS, “It took me some time to decide what to do next after Kabir Singh. 8. Fans still aren't over their Kabir Singh hangover, and now, we're being told that Shahid Kapoor is all set to star in a Bollywood remake of yet another Telugu blockbuster titled Jersey. Set against the backdrop of a man's passion to make it to the National Cricket Team, Jersey traces the journey of an aspiring cricketer Arjun, as he faces multiple challenges and failures along the way. © Instagram/Shahid Kapoor One of 2019's greatest hits down South, the film starred popular Telugu actor Nani in the lead role, and Shahid is all set to take over from him in the Hindi remake, and perhaps deliver yet another box office hit with this one. While fans are all excited about the Nani-Shahid faceoff, here are 5 things definitely worth cheering about Shahid's next Jersey: 1. The Director © Twitter/ Film Companion The Bollywood remake of Jersey is being helmed by the same director who created the Telugu blockbuster - Gowtam Tinnanuri. This is his second time delivering a box office hit as a director. Tinnanuri's directorial debut Malli Raava (2017) was very well-received and was followed by the massive success of Jersey earlier this year. However, it will be interesting to see how Tinnanuri appropriates the film for a Hindi audience, or if he will make some definitive changes to the script, now that Shahid has been cast in the lead role. 2. Shahid's First Mainstream Sports-Oriented Film © yash raj films Jersey is out-and-out a sports drama, and we are extremely excited to see how Shahid pulls off the role of an aspiring cricketer in this film. We already got a glimpse of Shahid as a passionate sportsman in Kabir Singh, and we are expecting to witness the same level of passion for cricket in this film. Also, this will be the first time Shahid will be starring in a mainstream sports-oriented film (and that too cricket), so cricket fans shall surely be expecting a lot out of him. 3. Shahid Playing A Dad On-Screen For The First Time © Instagram/Shahid Kapoor While Kabir Singh left us with the news that Kabir is a soon-to-be father, Jersey will see Shahid play a reel-life father for the very first time. The plot of the movie follows the endearing tale of a father and son's relationship which is based purely on love and trust, sans any form of judgement and expectations. Now, while we have all gotten multiple glimpses of Shahid as a real-life father, it will be interesting to see how he delivers the emotions on-screen. 4. The Female Lead © Instagram/RashmikaMandanna While no formal announcement has been made about the casting for the female lead in the Hindi remake of Jersey, it is being reported that 'Karnataka Crush' Rashmika Mandanna might be roped in opposite Shahid. If reports are true, this will be Rashmika Mandanna's Bollywood debut, and she will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film as Shahid's girlfriend and wife. 5. Playing An Arrhythmia Patient © Sithara Entertainments Essaying a character suffering from heart arrhythmia should be an interesting challenge for Shahid to present in front of the camera. Often bordering on serious fatalities, we are excited to see how Shahid pulls off the part of presenting obvious symptoms of the ailment and yet, veiling them successfully from the world, like the plot of the film demands.

We can expect some sort of revelation of games these studios have been working on in the past year. 3. Marvel's Avengers Game & Final Fantasy Remake VII Remake © Sqaure Enix Square Enix is attending E3 this year and thanks to a tweet posted by the company, we know that Marvel's 'Avengers' will be shown off at the conference this year. We can also expect to see more of 'Final Fantasy VII Remake' as it was showcased in Sony's latest State of Play Event. The game is being developed by Crystal Dynamic 4. Watch Dogs 3: Legion & Beyond Good And Evil 2 © Ubisoft Ubisoft has been cracking-out some great games in the past year and we can expect to see some never before seen games. The company already announced a new Ghost Recon game via a teaser trailer, however, there are other games that will be showcased. Ubisoft has now confirmed that it will be showing 'Watch Dogs 3: Legion' that takes place in London, United Kingdom. We can also expect to see some gameplay for 'Beyond Good' and 'Evil 2' as the company has been teasing that game for a while. As of now, there is no word whether Ubisoft will show a new Splinter Cell game as it looks highly unlikely. Beyond the two new games, Ubisoft is rumoured to showcase three to four AAA titles but we can't be entirely sure about that for now. 5. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Dragon Age 4 And FIFA 20 © Respawn Entertainment EA kicks off the E3 conference with their EA Play tomorrow at 9:45 PM IST and we can expect to see some gameplay footage for the new Star Wars game. The game was revealed at 'Star Wars Celebration' earlier this year and we are bound to see more than just a trailer. EA will also announce FIFA 20 and what all it brings to the table in terms of new features and gameplay. We can also expect to see more about Madden, NHL and NBA Live franchises. EA also debuted a teaser trailer for 'Dragon Age 4' at last years The Game Awards and even though it seems unlikely, we can expect some more information about the game that is currently in development.
  10. Google is all set to host its annual developer conference Google I/O tomorrow and the keynote is special for many reasons to Android and Google users. The keynote will be hosted and headlined by CEO Sundar Pichai and we can expect to see new announcements of features, Android Q, hardware across all of the company's products. There is also a good chance that we get an update on other Alphabet (Google's parent company) compares such as Waymo and Nest. Here's what all we can expect from Google's event that is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 10:30 PM IST: Android Q © YouTube Every year, Google announces new features that will come as a part of the annual Android update and we are certain that the company has something in store this year as well. In the Pixel Beta Program, Google has already introduced improved location privacy controls, chat bubbles, pop-up settings menus and a few other new features. Google is expected to announce new features such as native support for screen recording, a new sharing menu and a desktop mode like Samsung's DeX. Google is also expected to add support for foldable devices natively this year just like Google added support for the notch last year. There's a good chance that a new beta will arrive right after I/O keynote concludes and a final release is expected to launch sometime in October 2019. A New Pixel Phone © Facebook There have been numerous leaks in the past that have hinted towards Google launching a cheaper Pixel smartphone. There's a good chance that Google is gearing up to launch the new Pixel smartphone that has been dubbed as Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. The smartphone is said to have similar features as Google's flagship Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL which we will know more about once Google officially unveils the device. An Update On Duplex © YouTube Last year, Google shocked the world with an AI voice that could answer spam calls for you and even make calls to restaurants and make reservations. The life-like voice basically removed the need for a user to deal with annoying calls or rudimentary tasks such as making reservations. "Duplex" was only available in select areas and there is a chance that Google may roll out this feature to new locations or even worldwide. Stadia © YouTube Google announced its new gaming service “Stadia” at the Game Developers Conference earlier this year. There will be some sort of update on the gaming service and how it would work with Google's products such as Pixel Devices, Chromebook, and Android devices. According to Google, data centres will enable Google to provide game streams up to 4K at 60 frames per second. Google is also making a custom Stadia controller that has dedicated buttons for capturing gameplay and sharing footage on YouTube directly. A small army of data centres will enable streams in up to 4K at 60 frames per second (with support for 8K and 120 frames per second on the way), and customers will have the option of purchasing a custom-designed Stadia controller with a capture button that shares in-game experiences directly to YouTube. 11. It's the time of the year again when you see celebrities wear the most bizarre of outfits including the Kardashians, Priyanka Chopra (remember how her love story with Nick Jonas started at the Met Gala?), Zayn Malik, Donald Glover, Chadwick Boseman among others. The Met Gala is organized by Anne Wintour each year. The themes for Met Galas have an amusing taste of their own. For 2019, the theme is "Camp: Notes on Fashion," which will be held at the Costume Institute's upcoming spring exhibition. The exhibit is inspired by Susan Sontag's 1964 essay "Notes on Camp," and will examine "how the elements of irony, humour, parody, pastiche, artifice, theatricality, and exaggeration are expressed in fashion." The Met Gala will take place on May 6, and will be chaired by Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele (Gucci is sponsoring the Met). This year, from the looks of it, people will be ditching gowns and three pieces to embrace a unique absurd reality translated into the form of costume. Given how crazy the looks have been in the past, expect something equally out of the world this year. Here's how celebrities interpreted the past year's theme which was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” 1. Kendall Jenner and Virgil Abloh in Louis Vuitton © Getty Images 2. 12. The third episode in the final season of 'Game Of Thrones' is coming in less than 48 hours and while we gear up for the insane Battle of Winterfell to begin, let's just have a quick look at what all are we expecting to witness: 1. A lot of deaths, obviously. The mental preparation to see some of our favourites going down will be tough but catharsis is a rule for all major plot lines, and hence on the radar for this week are the Brienne of Tarth, Ser Jorah, Greyworm, Gendry and well, Theon. © HBO 2. A tiny scene from the promo showed us Jon Snow shouting the "Night King is coming" followed by a hysterical Arya Stark running from the crypts. Now, you sure as hell are aware of the theory that the crypts might not be the safest place since the dead Starks are kind of buried there. So prepare for some spook maybe? 3. Now, the teaser showed nothing about where the mighty Night King maybe, so this episode will (hopefully) answer that if not lay out his evil plans for us. There's a very interesting theory that this battle is a façade and probably the King is flying down South to madam Cersei to conquer hell himself. That will be crazy, if true. 4. The moment when Khaleesi says "the dead are here" could either mean the creepy crypt theory coming to life (pun intended) or the White Walkers breaking down the walls of Winterfell. 5. This episode may or may not show us how exactly Bran will use himself as bait to lure out the Night King. The boy is loved and hated in equal measures for his love of sarcasm and dropping one-liners but him mostly just keeping secrets to himself! © HBO This Monday morning, prepare for no blues but only gory red and also for your mind to be blown away.
  13. **SPOILER ALERT** With less than four days to go for probably the biggest movie of the decade, speculations and wild theories have been making headlines day in and out. While some ideas have a realistic feel to them, others are straight out bizarre and make no sense whatsoever. And some of the restless Marvel Cinematic Universe fans could not resist the temptation to watch the three-minute long movie footage that was leaked by one of the Marvel Studios employees last week. But not us. Not us. So, while keeping in mind our loyalty towards the Marvel Comics and the Cinematic Universe, here are five things that you must expect when you watch 'Avengers: Endgame'. Two Fights Against Thanos Based on the millions of trailers put out by the YouTube channel of Marvel Studios, it is pretty much evident that in the 3 hour 2 minute of screen time, the audience will get to watch two wars being carried out Captain America and the rest of the earth's mightiest heroes. While the first one will be unplanned, emotional and hurried, the second would clearly follow a well structured plan. Someone Gets Badly Injured In The First Half Of The Movie Taking an educated guess here but we believe with the wounds of losing one half of the universe with Thanos quick snap, the Avengers try to take him down with the help of Captain Marvel who believe she can take him on, especially when her powers basically come from one of the Infinity Stones. But underestimating the Mad Titan leads the team to lose an integral part of themselves, someone who gets thrashed and absolutely dominated by Thanos just like Hulk was in the initial moments of Infinity War. Unable to carry on fighting, they must be taken back to the Avengers headquarters. Time Lapse Based on the length and colour of Natasha Romanoff's hair, it is pretty much obvious that the events of Endgame will span between two to ten months during which a lot of new developments take place, previously misplaced characters return home and new plans to eliminate Thanos are thought about. Somebody Dies (For Good) As the title suggests, 'Endgame' refers to a Chess move in which the player must sacrifice one of his most crucial Chess pieces in order to get an upper hand over his opponent. Maybe during the final fight against the Mad Titan, one of the leading characters like maybe Hawkeye will get into a bit of trouble and someone will jump in the middle of the attack and help his partner out of trouble while giving up his own life. Big New Character At The End Endgame can not finish without the introduction of at least one Marvel character to continue with the franchise and the universe along with. There are a lot of talk about the introduction of someone really powerful and not a habitant of the earth, who has had some sort of a rivalry with Thanos due to his previous profession of visiting planets and eliminating half their population. Someone like Adam Warlock. Other characters who people think and hope to see in the end of the movie include Professor X, Rest of the X-Men, and these guys.
  14. Donald Trump has said a lot of questionable things in the past. Like, seriously hilarious things. It's no surprise that he's referred to by those closest to him as an 'idiot', 'moron' among other things. But now the social media is trolling the President left and right for saying what we believe is one of the most hilarious things we've heard in quite some time now. While attending the National Republican Congressional Committee's spring fundraising dinner in Washington DC, he said, “If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations your house just went down 75% in value.” © Pexels He then continued to make a weird waving gesture with his arm in the air and said, “And they say the noise causes cancer, you tell me that one, OK.” Here, watch the hilarious video here - ICYMI: Trump at the NRCC dinner last night: "If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value. And they say the noise causes cancer. You tell me that one, okay?" Then he makes a windmill noise. ð³ pic.twitter.com/2q1GIj0we9 — Amee Vanderpool (@girlsreallyrule) April 3, 2019 Just to be clear, windmills do not cause cancer. We repeat, windmills do not cause cancer. Yes, there are other health problems that are blamed on wind turbines, but cancer certainly isn't one of them. In addition to the social media, even GOP Senator Chuck Grassley called his comments completely “Idiotic“.
  15. Apple has officially sent out invites for its first event of the year that is scheduled to take place on March 25th. There's been a lot of speculation as to what Apple may be launching, however, the tagline on the invite may give us some clues. The artwork has the tagline "It's show time" followed by a 1940s style countdown. So, here's what we think Apple may be launching based on previous rumours and speculations: 1. Streaming Service © Reuters According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple is expected to announce a new video streaming service that will rival Netflix and other services. The report says that Apple will have a library of at least 25 original shows that will cover various genres such as docuseries, dramas, comedy and family entertainment. 2. News Service Apple is also expected to launch a premium subscription plan for its “News” app. The app will let readers access content from different publishers including some of the top publication like Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, New York Times and others. There is no word whether this service will make its way to India, as the “News” app is currently not available to download via the Indian app store. 3. New iPads © Reuters Around the same time last year, Apple announced new iPads that were cheaper than the Pro model and had support for Apple Pencil. There's a good chance that Apple may announce new iPads to compliment the launch of its new streaming service. Previous leaks have suggested that Apple has already registered seven new iPad models with the Eurasian Economic Commission and some were even mentioned in the public beta code of iOS 12.2. A new 10-inch iPad is said to replace last year's 9.7-inch model and a new iPad mini. The iPad mini has not been updated in the last four years and seems like a good opportunity for Apple to introduce a smaller iPad for its news service platform. 4. AirPods 2 It's highly unlikely that Apple will launch new AirPods at the March event but there is a good chance that Apple will launch a wireless charging case. Leaks have suggested that the wireless charging case is expected to launch in the first half of 2019 while AirPods 2 is expected to launch alongside new iPhones later this year. 5. AirPower © Apple AirPower has been expected to launch for a while and Apple's charging mat has reportedly gone into mass production earlier this year. There's a good chance that Apple may launch the charging mat along with the new wireless charging case for the AirPods.
  16. Samsung launched the company's latest flagship devices for India, however, many users were also interested to know more about the Galaxy Fold. The foldable smartphone is expected to go on sale in April and it seems like there will only be limited units available for purchase. The foldable smartphone's India availability remained a mystery, however, the company has now confirmed that the 'Galaxy Fold' will come to India. © YouTube/Samsung Speaking to select journalists, Dj Koh, President and CEO of Samsung's IT and Mobile Communications Division said that the Galaxy Fold will launch in India, without revealing any more details. “Indian market is, I clearly said, most important market — not only investment and everything, my long-term commitment is towards the market. In this market, why will I not deliver my newest technology innovation? Yes, I will do,” Koh said to Gagets360 in an interview. Samsung has not revealed the exact launch date of the smartphone, however, reports suggest that it could launch sometime in May. There's a good chance that the Galaxy Fold will be more expensive in India as it may not be manufactured here. Koh confirmed that Samsung would like to manufacture the phone in India, to keep the costs low. "Because of taxes, we must make it in India, to sell in India," he added Samsung is also working with Indian telecom companies for a smooth roll-out of 5G smartphones. There's a good chance that Samsung may launch the 5G version of the Galaxy S10 when it deems fit. India is already a very important market for Samsung as the company has already set up the world's biggest manufacturing plant in India. Some of Galaxy S10's camera features were also developed in India thanks to the company's R&D team in Bengaluru. © YouTube/Samsung It's awesome to see Samsung launch the Galaxy Fold in India, however, it would be prudent for the company to keep a realistic price. Having said that, the Galaxy Fold is going to be the company's most premium device and will demand a hefty price tag. It already carries a price tag of $1980 (approx Rs. 1,40,000) and is expected to cost even more in India. Source: Gadgets360
  17. Sujoy Ghosh is dishing out a brilliant revenge thriller called 'Badla', which releases tomorrow. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles, the solid drama movie has already impressed everyone in its trailer. If you're planning on catching this gripping flick, here are 5 things you can expect from 'Badla': 1. Big B & Taapsee's Strong Performances- There is no doubt that these two stellar actors will not stand up to our expectations in the movie. We have already witnessed their fantastic chemistry in the courtroom drama 'Pink'. They are essaying the same role of a lawyer-client in 'Badla' and we're assuming the performance is going to be seamless this time as well. © Red Chillies Entertainment 2. Gripping Storyline- Trust Sujoy Ghosh to not disappoint you with what you can expect from a well-crafted movie. The trailer is already gripping and has left us intrigued. 3. It Is A Balanced Adaptation Of A Spanish Movie- If you didn't know this, 'Badla' is actually an adaptation of the famous Spanish movie 'Contratiempo' (The Invisible Guest), so comparisons are natural. However, the makers have done a fine job in spinning their own tale borrowed from the original. 4. A Good Bollywood Murder Mystery- After a very long time, Bollywood has shifted focus from biopics and other genres to explore something which boggles and keeps the audience engaged till the end. There is a dearth of good murder, revenge thrillers in Bollywood and hopefully, this movie will bridge the gap. The movie releases tomorrow, so make sure your plans are set in place for the weekend!
  18. Sunburn Festival 2018 is almost upon us. While some of us can't get over the fact that 2018 is almost over, for many others, December couldn't have come fast enough. Yes, we get multiple opportunities to listen to music throughout the year but Sunburn isn't just music, it's an experience. One that you'll never forget! © Facebook/Salvatore Ganacci They've made a habit of bringing some of the biggest names in music down to India every December and this year is no different. With heavyweights like DJ Snake, Axwell ^ Ingrosso and Alan Walker confirmed for 2018, it's going to be one hell of a show for sure. But, the one man we're most excited to watch is Salvatore Ganacci. No, he's not as famous as the gentlemen mentioned above but that doesn't mean he isn't just as talented. But, for Salvatore, it's not just about the music. It's about a lot more than that. He's not just a DJ, he's a performer. Are we not making sense? Check this out... Yes, he's not your typical DJ. His performances are so over the top that he's gained notoriety from others in the industry. But, who wants to see a guy just standing there turning some knobs right? We want to see a performance and that's something Salvatore is excellent at. © Facebook/Sunburn Festival So, without further ado, here are 3 things you can expect from Salvatore Ganacci at Sunburn Festival 2018: Eccentricity - There may come a point in the middle of the festival when you start getting bored of DJs doing the same thing over and over again (yes, it happens to everyone). But, that's where Salvatore is going to save you. He doesn't just offer a treat for the ears but one for the eyes as well. © Facebook/Sunburn Festival B2B - Salvatore Ganacci is performing, Sebastian Ingrosso is performing. Is it hoping for too much that there comes a point when one of them crashes the others set? Yes, they've performed together in the past, so why not? Even if not Sebastian, what are the chances Salvatore will crash someone's set? Pretty high, eh? We can hope can't we? © Facebook/Salvatore Ganacci New Mixes - While we'd love to hear some of his hits like Dive, Ride It and Motorspeed 300 km/h, there's nothing that compares to hearing an epic track for the first time. Salvatore is perfectly capable of introducing us to some new sounds at the Sunburn Festival 2018. There's only one way to find out if he does, though. Head to Pune in December 2018. Don't forget to buy tickets! Or you could stand outside the festival grounds guessing who's on stage and what they're doing.
  19. Last month Apple announced the launch of iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and the iPhone XS Max. But that's just one vertical of gadgets that Apple makes, we're still left to wait for the updates or refreshments of the lineups. Apple has sent out invites for a second event scheduled for today, October 30. Even though the iPhone brings in almost a majority of the giant's revenues, other segments like the MacBook and iPad contribute the other half. It seems fairly safe to speculate that the emphasis will be on creative tools that Apple's Macs and iPads are known for. A whole bunch of Apple products are due for a refresh and here's what we expect the company to announce. 1. New iPad Pro © 9to5Mac This will probably be the highlight of the event, as it's expected to get a complete overhaul in terms of design. It was last updated in June 2017 and still, run on the A10X chipset. The recently announced A12 Bionic chipset of the new iPhone's is extremely fast, in fact, faster than anything out there. We're sure Apple will leverage its abilities to market the capabilities of the new iPad Pro. When it was first announced, Apple aggressively showed off its multitasking and processing capabilities. It was clearly an attempt to place the tablet as a competitor of the Surface lineup. And with the portable keyboard, it becomes a near perfect convertible. Apple wants to target the creative demographics as well as ones who are looking for an ultralight machine that can get work done on the go. © TechRadar For starters, the new iPad Pro is expected to get a new edge-to-edge display and the Home Button will be gone for good. Face ID is sure to come in and there is a good chance that the lightning port will also be out. Since the "MacBook" launch, Apple has increased its focus on USB-C and Apple is known to have a streamlined ecosystem of products. 2. MacBook Air Refresh © BCCL It's been nearly four years since Apple last updated the MacBook Air lineup. The light and easy to carry machine has been asking for attention since the company has updated the lighter 12-inch MacBook and MacBook Pro series only. Even though the price has been the same, its performance is very basic and even the display hasn't reached "Retina" standards yet. Multiple reports over the last few months have suggested that the new version will have a Retina display, thinner bezels, and even Touch ID support. We expect the new laptops to get a processor bump as well, and it will either be an 8th Generation "Coffee Lake" chip or an even newer "Whiskey Lake" CPU. 3. Mac Mini Comeback © WikiMedia The chances of an updated Mac Mini are low since the company has been silent about it since its last update of 2014. Clearly, though, the demand for a new upgraded one is unprecedented. A new updated version is sure to get a huge hardware bump and hopefully support for USB-C as well. The Apple Event invites state "There's more in the making." and we sure hope they mean a new Mac Mini. This one gadget that people immensely love and is a creators low-cost paradise. Even the iMac could get a specification bump and given Intel's chip releases over the last quarter, an upgraded processor is very much a possibility. 4. AirPower And AirPods 2 © BCCL Apple has avoided the AirPower discussion for more than a year now. It was first unveiled alongside the iPhone 8 launch but hasn't been released yet. We expected Apple to launch it again, or provide an update at the September launch, but no official update. While all phones starting with the iPhone 8 support wireless charging in their ecosystem, there is no accessory to charge them yet. Lastly, the AirPods. We've been hearing rumours and reports about the new AirPods '2' for months now and really hope this becomes official this week. Going by online chatter, it's expected to sport better battery life, music output, as well as new sensors.
  20. When most of us were cribbing about our respective jobs, there were some people who were enjoying a long drive in their brand new car which they got from their boss as a Diwali gift. If you are one of those people, congratulations, you have the best boss in the world and the boss in question is none other than the Surat-based diamond merchant, Savji Dholakia. Facebook Just like every other year, Dholakia has decided to make this Diwali the happiest one for his employees, by doing something that will make every other person hate their boss. Earlier this year, Dholakia gifted three of his senior employees Mercedes cars worth Rs. 1 crore each. On Thursday, he distributed 600 cars to his employees, at an event that was attended by PM Modi. Facebook In fact, some employees even received car keys from PM Modi. Apart from cars, the employees also received flats and FDs as Diwali gifts. Facebook The billionaire businessman posted his picture with PM Modi on social media and wrote, "As a part of the company's loyalty bonus program, the #HKGroup gave incentives to approximately 1,700 diamond artists and diamond engineers in the form of cars and fixed deposits." Reportedly, the employees got Renault KWID and Maruti Suzuki Celerio cars as gifts. In 2016, Savji Dholakia, who owns Hari Krishna Exports, gifted his employees 400 flats and 1260 cars. Dholakia is gifting his employees such lavish gifts for the fourth year in a row, while we are waiting here to receive a box of Soan Papdi and microwave-safe bowls.
  21. It's a good day for the makers, actors, fans and basically, everyone who was anxiously awaiting to know the fate of the second season of the explosive show 'Sacred Games'. The fate of the next season was in a pendulum state after certain individuals associated with the show, were involved in a case of sexual misconduct and harassment. In a recent statement issued by Netflix, it was mentioned that the second season was on and that it would continue to work with directors Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and lead writer Varun Grover. Now that the shoot for the second season will resume, here are five things we are expecting to unravel when the show hits the air again: 1. Trivedi's Fate- Probably one of the most important questions. Is he dead or will he survive after what happened to him? Basically what is that bunker where he was found and why was it there in the first place? 2. The story behind 'Guruji'- Pankaj Tripathi will play a pivotal role in this season and we can't wait to see how he fits into this puzzle of being Gaitonde's 'third father'. © Netflix 3. Gaitonde's Story- His narration is clearly not over, nor is his part of the story. Can't wait to see what more the kingpin has to show us! © Netflix 4. Sartaj's Newfound Confidence- Saif Ali Khan surprised us all with his brilliant performance and now that Sartaj has found the confidence to lead the show, his role will get stronger by the minute, which will be very interesting to witness. © Netflix 5. Bunty's Presence- Jatin Sarna is reprising his role of 'Bunty' which means there is still a storyline attached to his name. We were sad when he died on the show, but we trust the brilliance of the directors to sew his story in a flashback. While you might think reading the book will give you an insight for what to expect, but you forget that Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane know exactly how to keep their viewers hooked. Although we wish we could witness more of 'Kukkoo ka jadoo' as well.
  22. Almost four years ago, 14-year-old Prithvi Shaw sent shockwaves across the cricket fraternity after scoring 546 runs off 330 balls - an innings that contained 85 fours and five sixes - for his school Rizvi Springfield in Mumbai's famed Harris Shield tournament. Playing as an opener, his strokeplay and footwork had many calling him a prodigy and then his mammoth innings in 2013 - highest score in school cricket back then - proved that there was something special about this kid. His rapid strides in the sport saw him earning a spot in India's U-19 side. And, in November 2016, Shaw had his first taste of glory in Indian colours as part of the India U-19 team that won the youth Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. But, despite some impressive performances, not many were convinced about the youngster owing to his inexperience and tender age. And, that's exactly why Mumbai chief selector Milind Rege consulted Rahul Dravid - the India U-19 and India A coach - before drafting Shaw into the Mumbai squad for the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy semifinal against Tamil Nadu. Handed a debut in Ranji Trophy, Shaw, playing as an opener, repaid the faith of Rege and Dravid by slamming a second-innings that paved way for Mumbai's emphatic victory in the crucial tie. © BCCL If his Ranji performance established him in the domestic circuit, Shaw's sensational debut in the 2017-18 Duleep Trophy earned him comparisons with great Sachin Tendulkar. Playing in his maiden Duleep Trophy game, the right-hander, at the age of 17, smashed a brilliant hundred for 'India Red' in the final to become the youngest player to score a debut ton in the tournament. The record was previously held by Tendulkar who scored 159 runs against East Zone on debut in the 1990-91 Duleep Trophy season. For a cricketer his age, Shaw didn't just capitalise on the opportunities he got, but his performances were so convincing that it opened new doors for his rise in the sport. Good domestic performances bore fruit as Shaw was named the captain of India U-19 squad for the 2018 World Cup - a tournament that would further enhance his reputation as one of cricket's most exciting young prospect internationally. Leading from the front, Shaw gave his young team crucial starts with consistent performances at the top. He continued to pile on runs as an opener and gave almost all the opposition bowlers a hard time. His cheap dismissal (29 runs) in the final against Australia might not do justice to his brilliant campaign, but the fact that he amassed 261 runs at 65.25 in the tournament - most by an Indian captain in the history of U-19 World Cup, proves his consistency with the willow. © BCCL If his artistry with the bat made everyone take notice of him, Shaw's leadership skills further bolstered his resume as Team India material. Under his tutelage, India romped to the ICC U-19 World Cup title for the fourth time in tournament's history. The young Indian team was so dominant that they remained unbeaten in the tourney and their smallest margin of victory was the eight-wicket win over Australia in the final. Turning heads with his majestic strokes and sharp decisions as captain, this was the time when cricket experts across the globe got a first-hand experience of young Shaw on the international stage. Seeing him in action, many were awed by his cricketing abilities and Ian Bishop, who was commentating, even went on to say: "That is Tendulkar". After joining the likes of Mohammad Kaif, Virat Kohli and Unmukt Chand as India's U19 World Cup-winning captains, there was no surprise to see to Shaw attracting huge interests from the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises. After a closely-fought battle at the 2018 IPL auctions, Shaw was eventually roped in by Delhi Daredevils (DD) who shelled out a staggering Rs 1.2 crore - six times his base price - to secure his services. © BCCL Despite getting limited opportunities, Shaw didn't disappoint Delhi in the IPL. In the nine games he played, the right-hander scored 245 runs at an average of 27.22 and an impressive strike-rate of 153.12 to live up to his price tag. While Delhi endured yet another embarrassing IPL season, Shaw continued to rise through the ranks. He was roped in for the India A squad that travelled to England earlier in July. Despite his batting prowess, many doubted Shaw's ability to deliver the goods in the tough English conditions. But, contrary to popular perception, Shaw's performances - despite being overshadowed by the FIFA World Cup - was hard to overlook. He slammed a gritty 62 against England A in the first unofficial Test at Worcester and then followed it up with a brilliant second-innings 188 against West Indies A at Beckenham. In the match against West Indies A at Northampton, Shaw hammered his way to another hundred in India A's 203-run win. And, earlier this month, he slammed 136 against England A where he added 277 for the first wicket with Mayank Agarwal. © AP His dominant display in hostile conditions instigated the national selection panel - led by MSK Prasad - to consult Dravid before drafting his pupil in India's squad for the remaining two Tests against England. The rapid rise of Shaw eventually came down to the point where the youngster's dream of representing the senior Indian team was finally going to come true. And, it couldn't have come at a better time. The Indian cricket team, for long, has been seen using the likes of Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul as openers in the longest format. But, their inability to find opening options other than the famous trio became a noticeable flaw in the first two Tests. While Dhawan and Rahul showcased better application and intent at Trent Bridge, India will still fancy the cushion of an extra opening option - a cover that could very convincingly be filled by Shaw. The inclusion of Shaw in the Test side will not only aid Indian cricket in the long run, but it will also give the youngster a well-deserved opportunity to learn and grow as a cricketer. Though it'll be really great to see him in the playing XI, but even if he doesn't get the game time, the time spent with Indian cricket bigwigs will surely do good for the growth of a young and rising cricketer like Shaw. For a 14-year-old kid who was shy talking to the media after his historic Harris Shield outing, Shaw has capitalised on every opportunity, learned with every mistake and worked hard to rise through the ranks to eventually share the Indian dressing room with the country's most-beloved cricketer and world's best batsman Virat Kohli.
  23. The Pixel 3 has been rumoured to launch this fall, however, we have not seen a proper leak about the smartphone until today. The picture was taken by a Ukrainian Telegram user, which has now been floating all over the internet. © Amazon India Android Police reports that the Telegram user @LuchkovCH posted detailed pictures of the upcoming smartphone and an unboxing video of the apparent Pixel 3 XL. He claims that it is the final production unit, which cannot be confirmed of now. So, we will have to just take his word until Google officially unveils the phone in October this year. © Twitter The leaked photos show that the Pixel 3 XL will come in a white variant that will also have an iPhone X-style notch on the display. Previous leaks of the display panel corroborated this leak and today, we can finally see it on a full production unit. Other details we could pick up from the leaked images show a wired power adapter and a separate charging cable. However, the most surprising thing to see in the leak was an inclusion of a USB C headphone. Google removed the headphone jack on the Pixel 2 and provided a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter. That remains the same according to this new leak, however, it is surprising to see a USB-C headphone included in the retail box. © Twitter The leaker also showed off the operating system and specs under the hood of the Pixel 3 XL. The phone is powered by Android 9 and has an octa-core Qualcomm processor. The SoC is coupled with an Adreno 630 GPU and has a display with a resolution of 2,960x1,440-pixel. © Twitter Even though this leak is in line with previous rumours, the information has to be taken with a pinch of salt, as Google has neither confirmed or denied these leaks. Google is expected to launch the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in October later this year and we will only know for sure if these rumours are true, once the smartphone is unveiled.
  24. People had some high hopes for Race 3 when it hit theaters. It may not be the best movie in the world but made 100 cr. in just 3 days. Here's what you can expect from it.
