  1. While we're used to reading all sorts of bizarre happenstances from across the world, we have amidst us one more from the continent of Africa. A politician from Nigeria claims that people from his country are ordering pizzas from London and having them flown to Nigeria, which is about 4,000 miles, via British Airways. Which means they get over their pizza fetish by placing orders internationally, and here we're still waiting for our lunch we ordered almost 45 minutes ago! © Pinterest The Agriculture minister Audu Ogbeh has made a statement saying Nigeria is too dependent on foreign imports, which are primarily seen as a status symbol by most families in the country. So according to him, people in Nigeria, well most of them, consume imported products like rice, wheat, tomato paste, just to procure a status symbol they can live up to. 'They buy (pizza) in London, they bring it on British Airways in the morning to pick up at the airport,' the Agriculture minister mentioned in an interview with a foreign publication. © Pinterest He further criticised the locals for ordering anything from overseas as he claims it's an ostentatious display of status and class and the fact that only they can afford to import certain products from outside the country. 'It is a very annoying situation and we have to move a lot faster in cutting down some of these things,' he added. Of course foreign exports are harming the Nigerian economy in general and the government is trying to cut down on foreign imports as much as possible. Nigeria is primarily becoming a nation of importers and most imports go to the rich folk, who knowingly treat it as a novelty. © Twitter "The farmers are losing money because the processors do not have enough funds to set up factories." Ogbeh added in his interview. Well, that explains why Nigeria strongly needs to import. But come on, pizzas? How much money does pizza dough require anyway? And wouldn't fuel charges be a lot higher than making pizzas in the country itself? Something to think about, I think. The locals think the Agriculture Minister's claim is absolute rubbish though: Do you blame them? When our politicians are tired of the bread and stew many of our local pizzerias are serving nko.ð¤£ð¤£ð¤£ -#Repost Some Nigerians use their phones to import pizza from London - Minister for Agriculture, #AuduOgbeh credit: @instablog9ja pic.twitter.com/T1jmCi7dGf — Daddy Freeze (@DaddyFRZ) 27 March 2019 I still can't believe Audu Ogbeh, like we don't have pressing nutrition and food security problems — Adesuwa (@TobyDonut) 28 March 2019 Hear the Honorable Minister for Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, state that Nigerians use their CELLPHONES to order pizza from London. We must resist any attempt or group of attempts to order int'l pizza. QED! This madness must stop . â¦@DoubleEphâ© â¦@Gidi_Trafficâ© pic.twitter.com/NKRIM0glgF — Charles Emuze (@coemuze) 27 March 2019 Just ordered a pizza from Domino's Pizza, London, and I was assured I'll get it in the next 10hrs via British Airways. I just hope the Minister for Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, wasn't lying. I've always wanted to have pizza from London. — No Trace (@DemGoTyre) 28 March 2019 While, we're not sure what is happening in Nigeria and how many hungry Nigerians are ordering pizza from halfway across the world, we surely do see the humour in this and we hope they get a Dominos soon enough.
  2. A good beard is an asset, and every man wants one (well, almost). But the trouble is, it's not something you can buy. You have to grow it and the situation isn't exactly even like growing muscles, which you can manage by working out and following a proper diet. Growing a beard can be a challenge if you're not gifted, and most people try to avoid being hit by this truth-bomb. Plus, some personal habits coupled with an intense disregard for patience result in super slow beard growth for some unfortunate souls. Keeping that in mind, we have compiled a list of 7 things one should strictly avoid doing while growing a beard: 1. Excessive Trimming © Birchbox There is a beard myth that says the more you cut/trim your beard, the faster it grows. Please don't pay heed to such myths. If you don't let your beard grow out physically, it just won't. It's that simple. 2. Using Hair Shampoo On The Beard © Beard Style The composition of hair shampoo is not suitable for your beard. It will strip your beard of its natural oils, and give rise to dry, scraggly strands of hair, which will definitely hamper healthy growth. 3. Not Washing It Altogether Or Washing It Too Often © Scotchporter The beard is a tricky territory, because it's a patch of hair that's located on your face. Your face needs to be kept clean (duh!) but it must be done without causing damage to your beard. How do you do it? By coming up with a beard cleaning cycle and sticking to it. Use a good beard wash/beard shampoo to wash your beard instead of soaps/hair shampoos, but don't do it too often. Depending on the growth and density, washing your beard every alternate day or once in three days should be fine (provided you don't let food get stuck in it or roll around in the mud, face-first.) 4. Ignoring The Existence Of Beard Oils/Softeners © Fatherly As Indian men, more often than not, we attach minimal importance to grooming. Please don't let your beard suffer because of that. Use beard oils and softeners to facilitate a healthy growth. They do work, if you use them religiously. 5. Not Brushing Your Beard © Balding Beards Brushing your beard, irrespective of its size will make it grow with a proper shape. Plus, brushing improves blood circulation at the beard base, thereby resulting in much faster growth.
  3. Folks, director Karan Johar has created history. Looks like he has roped in John Cena for his upcoming movie, 'Drive', because you legit can't see anything. For those who got the joke, let's move ahead and read the story and for those who didn't, GOOGLE it. Karan Johar just shared the first teaser of his upcoming film, 'Drive' starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez. By the looks of the teaser, the movie will have four cars in a lead role and the two that zoomed past the screen might have Jacqueline and Sushant in it, unless they are the new-age self-driven cars. © Dharma Productions There's legit nothing in the teaser, except for a black screen with the cars' headlights on. So, without further ado, let's take a look at how awesome Sushant and Jacqueline look (hypothetically) in this 23 seconds video. The teaser of 'Drive' is already driving us crazy, but it's the comment section on YouTube that is making us fall off our chairs laughing. From calling it 'Gareebo ka Fast and Furious' to demanding Salman Khan to be a part of it, people have some really hilarious reactions to the teaser. 'Drive', which is said to be an official remake of the 2011 American film of the same, is expected to release on June 28 and also stars Sapna Pabbi, Boman Irani, Pankaj Tripathi and Vikramjeet Virk in key roles.
  4. While the recent trend is towards Battle Royale games like PUBG and Fortnite, racing games have improved drastically as well in the last few years. The gap between the iOS and Android games has narrowed down and thanks to top-notch hardware, the games have improved massively in terms of graphics as well as controls. Much like fighting games, racers can be played with the greatest nonchalance and the utmost skill and expertise. Whether its a lap race, time trial or multiplayer real-time racing, we've got you covered. Here are the top racing games one can play on their Android / iOS mobile! 1. Need For Speed: No Limits © Electronic Arts Need For Speed: No Limits is a free racing game that delivers short but intense races as you blast through an underground street racing circuit. You can build the ride that shows your style with an unbelievable range of cars and customizations. The graphics are cutting edge and the game is well optimised for every type of hardware out there. Being free to play, NFS: No Limits features a variety of in-game and premium currency systems, as well as a fuel system. You can also earn the premium currency by participating in daily challenges. Download from Play Store 2. Hill Climb Racing 2 © Gamezebo The first iteration of the game was a blockbuster hit and players were glued to the game like no other. It features a simple premise, colorful graphics, and simple controls. You'll be racing up and down hills against opponents. Unlike the other games listed here, this one is the least resource intensive and even though the graphics are basic, it definitely does not look outdated. The game includes a campaign, an online multiplayer mode, achievements, daily tasks, and challenges. It also follows the freemium model, wherein, the game is free to play, but you may have to buy a few high-end customizations and boosters. Download from Play Store 3. Riptide GP Renegade © Vector Unit This game features a single-player career mode as well as online and local multiplayer races. As a disgraced racer, you must make a name for yourself in the illicit racing circuit while slowly climbing your way back up to the top. The other two games in the series, Riptide GP and Riptide GP 2 are also really good. Renegade is the best among them, though, and runs for $2.99 with no in-app purchases. Download from Play Store 4. Traffic Rider © Soner Kara It's a first-person motorcycle game that has you bobbing and weaving through congested traffic. Traffic Rider is all about hair-raising near-misses, with players scoring extra points or bonus time for dodging past cars and trucks.
