Fardeen Khan was last seen on-screen in the 2010 dud Dulha Mil Gaya. Post that, he took a sabbatical from films and now after 11 years, the actor is making a comeback with Sanjay Gupta’s Visfot co-starring Riteish Deshmukh. The shooting of the film was recently wrapped and there are also reports of the actor returning to the No Entry franchise with its sequel alongside Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor. Amidst all the exciting films that he is going to be a part of, Fardeen, for the first time, opened up about the “tough times” that he went through in the last 11 years and why decided to take a break from films. © Twitter/Fardeen Khan In between, Fardeen had also gained a bit of weight and his pictures had gone viral on social media. When pointed out that many on social media believed that he must be going through some tough times, Fardeen told Bollywood Hungama that he indeed went through a dark time in his life. He said, “After my father passed I needed some time off. I went through a tough time, I had a little bit of a health scare myself in 2009, just a few months after my father passed. And then we were very keen to have a family, Natasha and me. And we had challenges having children, so we had to go down the IVF route.” He further talked about how they faced bad experiences with doctors in Mumbai and his wife suffered because of that. In 2011, they decided to move to London and revealed, “With Natasha’s one of her initial pregnancies, we had twins and we lost them at six months. So that was very very hard for us. It was a tough time. You know, she had to…she did a live birth and we lost the babies. It was very very tough.” He then talked about how his daughter was eventually born and “she gave us a lot of joy.” © Twitter/Fardeen Khan The actor further revealed that he had decided to make a comeback to films in 2013 and even planned a campaign but when he saw his daughter, he dropped the plan and decided to become a full-time dad to her.
