  1. Junaid Khan dishes on his thoughts regarding the double standards around breakups and infidelity
  2. Shareholder Michael Drieu claimed in a court filing that a string of recent media reports highlighting the privacy flaws in Zoom?s application have led to the company?s stock, which had rallied for several days in the beginning of the year, to plummet.
  3. If you are to name the best fictional womaniser of all the time, Joey 'Casanova' Tribbiani would be among the top three, to say the least. Just a “how you doin?” from his side and there was a sure shot “yes” from the other side. It (almost) never failed. Let's try to decode the character of Joey and see some of his qualities and flaws. • Great Friend Joey was probably the best when it came to maintaining a selfless friendship. He tried to tolerate Janice for the sake of Chandler, the woman he absolutely despised. He offered Rachel a place to stay, knowing that her baby would turn his dating life upside down. He let Chandler keep the foosball table when he moved out. How he kept Monica and Chandler's relationship a secret and often took the blame for their misdeeds (the *** tape). He was a true friend, the best one can have! • Dumb If Joey completely lacked something, it was intellect. Who can forget when he got Chandler and himself robbed? Or the time when he bought an encyclopaedia so he could also be a part of the intellectual discussions which his friends had. He had his fair share of dumb moments, which he always accepted unapologetically. • Womaniser Call it quality or a flaw, but Joey sure was one heck of a womaniser. Every woman he met, he saw as a potential conquest. He picked women with such ease that could put even Ranbir Kapoor to shame. Scoring dates is an art, and Joey sure was the master of it. Though he took it too far and ended up without a stable relationship, nevertheless, he was the man! • Wouldn't Share Food Have a drinking game with this dialogue and you would be hammered for the night. Joey never believed in sharing food. Regardless of who wanted it or how much hungry the other person might be, he wouldn't budge. Not just this, but he wouldn't mind eating off other people's plate (the one with the date and the dessert). Not just food, Joey didn't even share his soft toy with Emma, the girl he loved very dearly. Clearly, he wasn't the sharing kind. • Unapologetically Secure Joey was always himself, and we never saw him changing for anyone or trying to be someone who he wasn't. Whether it was about trying a ladies' bag or admitting that Tribbianis aren't the smartest, he did it without any insecurity. He accepted the fact that he loved food and won't mind if he becomes fat. Whatever he did in his life, he was unapologetically secure about it. Joey Tribbiani is someone every guy wishes to be. It has been more than two decades since the show aired but he still is one of our favourite characters.
  4. Much as we'd like to deny, we're not perfect beings. Far from it, being flawed is what makes us human. No matter how much we strive towards being the best versions of ourselves, there are certain traits that come so naturally to us we can't run away from them. You may be super talented but you could be lazy as a sloth, you may be a caring lover but you could be too distrustful of your partner. More often than not, these traits, like Achilles' heels, become our undoing. There is a tragic flaw in each one of us and most of the time, we know what it is. The users of Reddit answered this seemingly easy but painfully uncomfortable question and the answers are surely a great exercise in self-introspection. After all, the first step towards change is acknowledgement of the problem. You Procrastinate This has to be the most universal problem of mankind. Most of us have, at some point of time in life, been afflicted with the procrastination monster. Be it asking your crush out, or writing that long-overdue paper, you can never somehow muster the willpower or the conviction to actually do things. Well, if it's any consolation, you are not alone. You Listen To Talk, Not To Hear That's one trait the modern generation is guilty of. We listen to reply, not to understand. We're so concerned about what we have to say and how the world is going to perceive us that we often do not pay attention to what the other is saying. A conversation is often just a series of monologues between two people. Quick To Get Angry, Slow To Forgive Karni Sena would agree on this one. Our first reaction to something is usually not an informed one, albeit an emotional one. But we often make the mistake of letting our baser emotions take the better of us without putting ourselves in the other person's shoes or without understanding the whole truth. The Constant Need To Say Sorry, Even When It's Not Your Fault The last time I said sorry to someone was when they stepped on my toe. It was their fault but the instinctive reply that came out of my mouth after years of clumsily dropping things and bumping into people, was 'sorry'. It's great to admit to a mistake when there is one, but if you find yourself constantly apologizing for someone else's mistake, there's a problem. You're A Nervous Wreck In Social Situations This is something very common today, in a world where first impressions are usually the last. Self-esteem in the time of glossy fashion magazines and photoshopped pictures, is a fragile entity. When you spend a substantial part of your life behind the comfort of a computer screen, social situations in the real world can feel a bit overwhelming. Too Lazy You've cursed yourself so much over your lazy habits, you're not even sorry about it anymore. You could be Milind Soman, but you're too lazy to get up in the morning. You could be the next Elon Musk, but you are too lazy to be that enterprising. You could be the best dancer in the world, but you are too lazy to sweat it out for hours practising. Angry Driver If you drive on Indian roads, either you're a victim of road rage or you're part of the problem – either way you are an angry driver. Unlike other bad habits, this one can prove fatal. What's your biggest flaw? If you're brave enough to confess it, type it away in the comments section below! We'll start: We love reading troll comments.
  5. Apple has confirmed that all Macs, iPhones, iPads and other devices (except Apple Watch) are vulnerable to the newly revealed Spectre and Meltdown Intel, ARM and AMD processor vulnerabilities. Taking advantage of a vulnerability that has been around for 20 years, Meltdown and Spectre exploit a CPU performance feature called “speculative execution.” Speculative execution exists to improve computer speed by enabling the processor to work on multiple instructions at once, sometimes in non-sequential order. The Meltdown and Spectre bugs allow hackers to read and access this information in the OS kernel memory by taking advantage of the delay in its rollback. (c) Reuters Who is affected? All modern Macs and iOS devices are affected. While Meltdown mainly affects Intel-based Macs and PCs, in Apple's case it also affects iOS devices. Spectre affects all iOS, macOS, and tvOS. WatchOS is unaffected by the Meltdown and Spectre flaws. How can you stay protected? Apple revealed that it had already released 'mitigations' for Meltdown in iOS 11.2, so make sure you keep an eye out for any new updates made available for iOS on your iPhone or iPad and go into 'Settings' to check what version of iOS you are running. Ensure your Mac is up to date by hitting the apple in the top left of your menu, selecting About This Mac, and checking if your version number reads macOS 10.13.2 or greater. Apple says the patches don't measurably affect performance, and it'll continue to develop more mitigations for future updates. (c) Reuters Don't jailbreak your iPhones. Those who jailbreak their devices are potentially more vulnerable to malware, particularly when vulnerabilities exist at a processor level. When it comes to Spectre, Apple explains that it is possible (though extremely difficult) to exploit the weakness in JavaScript running in a web browser. Apple will release an update for Safari for Macs and iOS devices in the next few days. That update will mitigate such exploit techniques. Even third-party browsers like FireFox and Chrome are still infected. Look out for an app update from the App Store in the coming few days. Don't download apps from untrusted sources. It's good practice to be vigilant about what applications you run on your computer (Mac or iOS). Both of these newly revealed exploits need to be running on your system, so it makes sense to avoid installing or using any applications you don't trust.
