  1. Our beloved 'Game of Thrones' is about to come to an end. As we gear up for the finale, braving a disappointing plot and lacklustre storyline, a bittersweet ending awaits us. Irrespective of our disdain for the final season, we still are just as interested in finding out what is going to happen in the finale, thanks to the emotional attachment we have developed over the years. We might just have a clue of what's going to happen, because of a clip we chanced upon. © HBO The clip we are referring to is a part of the trailer of 'Game of Thrones: The Last Watch', the official documentary on the show by Director Jeanie Finlay, described as 'a farewell to Westeros with the people who built the realm'. It's two hours long and will premiere on HBO, on May 26th. The trailer features an emotional cast and crew. Kit Harrington is captured in a tearful moment, as the directors address everyone. © HBO However, what caught our attention is Emilia Clarke's final shot. She is walking on snow, and there is also a bit of green screen behind (probably Drogon). Even though according to the story, she should be in King's Landing (where there is no snow), she seems to be somewhere in Winterfell. After it gets over, someone yells, "This was Emilia's last shot on Game of Thrones", post which she embraces the director and someone is shown drying their eyes. © HBO We don't know whether she shot the Winterfell scenes last, but we surely are hoping for a solid ending. You can see the trailer for the documentary here.
  2. The wait for everyone's favourite (yeah, its already assumed that you enjoy it) 'Game Of Thrones' is about to end soon, because Winter, which may be coming to an end in our world, is yet to come in April. So many teasers, leaked pictures, millions of BTS shots later, fans are desperately waiting for just one thing, ie.- the final trailer to drop on our heads! However, seems like that's not happening just yet. HBO has dropped a video montage of what we should expect this year and there was a tiny footage from 'GOT' as well. My heart stopped when seeing this new Euphoria and The Righteous Gemstones footage and started again at Watchmen. 2019 is my new favorite year. #HBO2019 pic.twitter.com/ybbE1i1Ffb — HBO (@HBO) February 24, 2019 You saw that, right? When Arya Stark finally gets to behold the magnificence of Khaleesi's dragons (we're assuming it's Drogon here) you can't help but long to see more, but unfortunately, the shot brutally cuts then and there. Obviously, GOT fans are now officially pissed with HBO and want the makers to stop trying everyone's patience and just drop the final trailer already. a dream come true for little Arya Stark #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/FauoVIALGf — arwen ðï¸ kh3 spoilers (@drogonsdaughter) February 24, 2019 HBO when we ask for a trailer for season 8 or game of thrones pic.twitter.com/8cJQAdsJXn — Zuhaila (@Zuuzuux) February 20, 2019 me banging on hbo's door and begging for the goddamn game of thrones trailer pic.twitter.com/XTk3aoXsee — âµ chi âµ (@starksdany) February 18, 2019 We're like really tired and upset and when will HBO get a clue about our desperation? Me looking for #GameOfThrones season 8 trailer pic.twitter.com/kg53gKFeaP — Akar Mohamad (@AkarMohamad2) February 18, 2019 Where's the Game of Thrones trailer?! pic.twitter.com/HNKUrjXyhj — G L O R I A (@aciroxo) February 24, 2019 Clearly, a girl has seen the dragons, but we still have not seen any sign of the trailer! Can it happen soon enough?
  3. Winter is finally here! Just in case you've been living under a rock, HBO has released a 5-second clip of from the upcoming Season 8 of 'Game Of Thrones', and fans are shook (quite literally). In case you missed it, take a look: #GameofThrones returns to @HBO this April. pic.twitter.com/1muHcwJIFJ — Game Of Thrones (@GameOfThrones) January 7, 2019 The small, barely 5-second clip shows Sansa Stark throwing shade at Daenerys Targaryen when she almost rolls her eyes and snarkily says “Winterfell is yours, Your Grace.” Okay, first things first, there is a lot of tension that you can feel between these two powerful women. The two characters have clearly a lot at stake in the cutthroat plotline that they're a part of, as they've survived a lot of gruesome realities to reach where they are right now. At this point, Winterfell is important to both of them in equally valid ways, which makes this 5-second clip even more interesting. Obviously, Twitter had their own thoughts on this super frosty interaction and began a war of memes on this ultimate face-off: Sansa is eyeing Danny up and down like she is a piece of shit tramp her brother brought home. Brienne is looking at Sansa like whew chile, you don't know who you fucking with. @WiCnet #taketheblack pic.twitter.com/sPN2PpFaTB — I. A. Melton ðð½ (@ijamelton) January 7, 2019 And we're also clenching our fists in anticipation because they're both strong, independent women that we love and would like to see alive for as long as possible. SANSA IS SO PISSED OFF, WHAT A MOOD #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/w71PpnutUY — ella (@sanserya) January 7, 2019 Brienne is all of us. pic.twitter.com/fDptvaAAaJ — Dany's whoreð¨ð´ (@asongofdany) January 7, 2019 Sansa's tone is clearly reluctant while she welcomes Dany to Winterfell (ahem ahem). sansa: winterfell is yours also sansa: pic.twitter.com/Z817kcICEN — hallie (@baerhodey) January 7, 2019 Succession might not be the only thing that creates tension between Jon and Dany. pic.twitter.com/QSbOYw0CeM — Alisha (@totesnotalice) January 7, 2019 This is how Sansa handed over Winterfell to Danaerys in that new lil commercial ð#GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/MPhtAGNF8g — Jazmine McCree (@j_jeanette14) January 7, 2019 ...and our dear Jon is clearly aloof, as usual. Sigh. sansa: winterfell is yours also sansa: pic.twitter.com/Z817kcICEN — hallie (@baerhodey) January 7, 2019 Danny already knows Sansa is going to be a problem. Jon is, of course, completely oblivious. Boat *** with Danny has him hypnotized. #JonSnowStillKnowsNothing @WiCnet #taketheblack pic.twitter.com/bJNxSa3ggg — I. A. Melton ðð½ (@ijamelton) January 7, 2019 The internet is also taking sides, (or not) me watching the Dany and Sansa stans go at it pic.twitter.com/S5aWlpslto — bri ð± (@flashnezra) January 7, 2019 So the Starks spent years fighting to get winterfell back, then Jon just handed it over to Dany (mother of dragons) in one scene. Wow. I can see why sansa is not happy here. This is a mess, no matter how much we like Dany.#gameofthrones pic.twitter.com/KgZ7Rq25AP — BLJacksonð·âðð¤ (@JacksonBrittsny) January 7, 2019 Sansa went and graduated from Margaery/Olenna Tyrell school, majored in Cersei's and got a Littefinger PhD. No one is gonna take her home away from her. ð¸#GameOfThrones #JonSnow #SansaStark #Jonsa pic.twitter.com/tyKBiXaDXs — It's Ok (@merciasilver55) January 7, 2019 This footage was clearly a treat for fans, but we can't wait for a full-fledged trailer soon and then April, when GOT will finally air. The final six episodes will grace our screens in April and are likely to have been filmed with multiple endings to avoid spoilers.
  4. In case you didn't know, the Golden Globes awards happened this morning. But who cares about anyone winning anything when 'Game of Thrones' fans ended up winning the entire thing. HBO released a 5-second video each of all the upcoming shows they have, and obviously GOT season 8 was a part of it. Just 5 seconds of Sansa Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, and Jon Snow at Winterfell was all it took for the fans, who have been desperately waiting for the new season since the last one ended, to get even more excited for April and for the release of season 8. #GameofThrones returns to @HBO this April. pic.twitter.com/1muHcwJIFJ — Game Of Thrones (@GameOfThrones) January 7, 2019 The tiny sneak peek shows a pissed off Sansa Stark giving Dany major side-eye while saying “Winterfell is yours, Your Grace.” Honestly, I'm not even exaggerating when I say everyone is overwhelmed over this bare minimum footage that HBO has so graciously given to the fans. Everyone's screaming! I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING I'M SCREAMING #GameOfThrones #GoldenGlobes pic.twitter.com/J4aJQsDxmX — Maximoff (@katnissenpanem) January 7, 2019 How to outshine an awards show. Whenever #GameofThrones gives me the bare minimum in new footage. pic.twitter.com/4kG25bKdms — Quwn ð«â¨ (@Q_Corleone) January 7, 2019 That gif, tho. “Winterfell is yours, Your Grace.” — Sansa with the greatest side eye EVER. #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/X7GaMSlpNB — Joreen Belocura (@AgeofIrony) January 7, 2019 Justice for Sansa. So the Starks spent years fighting to get winterfell back, then Jon just handed it over to Dany (mother of dragons) in one scene. Wow. I can see why sansa is not happy here. This is a mess, no matter how much we like Dany.#gameofthrones pic.twitter.com/KgZ7Rq25AP — BLJacksonð·âðð¤ (@JacksonBrittsny) January 7, 2019 Honestly, a mood. SANSA IS SO PISSED OFF, WHAT A MOOD #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/w71PpnutUY — ella (@sanserya) January 7, 2019 It's the exact same thing. 5. After narrating the notorious tale of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar in the first two seasons, and then following it up with an even stronger Season 3 that revolved around his rival Cali cartel, Netflix's popular series 'Narcos' is back with a brand new instalment, 'Narcos: Mexico'. Exclusive footage released by Netflix, ahead of the show's premiere on November 16, identifies the protagonist DEA Agent Camarena and his counterpart Miguel Felix Gallardo, the convicted druglord commonly referred to by his alias as El Padrino ("The Godfather"). The Mexican drug mafia formed the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s and was at the helm of all drug trafficking in the country and the corridors along the Mexico–United States border. “I'm more powerful than any other trafficker in the history of Mexico,” he says in the clip. © Netflix The date-announcement trailer told the story of another merciless cartel as the original 'Narcos' seasons. Michael Pena plays the undercover DEA agent while Rogue One's Diego Luna dons Gallardo's shoes. © Netflix It's understood that the streaming service refuses to call it a sequel to the previous seasons. This comes in the wake of the tragic murder of Carlos Munoz Portal, the location scout for the show, and then a lawsuit which was filed by Escobar's family. © Netflix Will they use the same theme song? Will they show agents Javier Peña and Stephen Murphy again? Gotta wait till November 16 it seems.
  6. For starters, rumours have it that the final season premiere has been pushed further from April to October or November of 2019, so we pray it is not true because for years, our brains have been designed to function in a way that come April, and all we can do is talk about GOT on Mondays, right? © HBO Moving on from this crisis situation, the first footage from the next season is here and while it is not a teaser but it is like two drops of blood on a vampire's tongue, you watch it and you are like 'Where's the rest, bro?' HBO released a long video where snippets from all its shows are presented in a montage and you can spot Jon Snow and Khaleesi chatting, there's Cersei in her angry mode and her brother Jaime sitting and brooding. The season might be months away but the plethora of theories that are doing the rounds have given us plenty of time to just think about what will happen and what not. Have you heard of the connection between Jon Snow and the Night King ? And then there is this interesting theory about Khal Drogo being resurrected. Well, this tiny teaser has left a lot of thoughts in our brain and April seems too far already!
