  1. Since we live in more tolerant times where relationships are concerned (or so I'd like to believe), a lot of people are choosing to make peace with their past. That's mostly because the world is shrinking and social media's unprecedented outpour of information really never lets you forget things. So, in order to keep your mind more sane and calm, it's only relevant to make peace with your past and by past, I mean your 'ex'. © Pintrest Most of you would want to loosen up the knotted ties between you and your ex and the reasons could be many. You could either want to shed away all the malice you hold for one another, or you still want them in your life because inherently they are good people or you still may have feelings for them, in which case, it's better to let go than figure out ways of having them in your life. But if the first two reasons are keeping your thoroughly confused then we have ways to make sure you have a healthy relationship with an ex. Here are 5 ways to keep in mind if you're looking at refreshing ties with an ex: (1) Are They In The Same Place As You? Yes, I know this is an obvious point to ponder over, but we seldom think what the other person wants in order to satiate what we want. So, the first step is to ensure your ex wants to be friends too. Because if she doesn't, then you really can't force free will can you? You can just wish them luck and hope they're happy. © Pintrest (2) Can You Trust Them Again? If you guys ended on bad terms then you have to think about how you want to go about this. If she did something to break your trust, can you accommodate trust in your equation, again? Of course, it wouldn't be in the same capacity as before, because you're not trying to get back together, you're trying to be in a good space as friends. So, if you trust your ex enough to not engage in any negativity or turn around and start a fight, then you should go ahead with it. © Twitter (3) Do Either Of You Have Feelings For Each Other? This one's a tricky one only because you may think you're over her, but you're really not and that can be a bit blurry while you're making a decision to keep in touch with her. Maybe sit down and give it a thought about your feelings for her. If you think they haven't changed since you started seeing her then maybe give it some time. © Pintrest (4) Do You Hold A Grudge? You can hold a grudge against your ex for a number of things, that is why she's your ex, to begin with! But if the grudge is minor and not too vicious then perhaps you can work on letting it go, if you think friendship with her is absolutely worth it. If it's a major grudge and cannot be reversed, then there isn't a point in looking out for any association, because you'll never be able to let the grudge really go. © Eros International (5) Have You Had Enough Time Apart? It's practically impossible to extend an arm of friendship when you've just broken up. Ideally, it takes about more than half the time you've spent with your ex, to maybe be friends with them, after you two break up. If you've never been friends before then it's a tad tough and only time apart can make that possible. So, take some time away from each other. If the break up is mutual and amicable, then definitely take time away and start a new association as friends. If it wasn't an amicable break-up, maybe take a lot more time away, get rid of the negativity you hold against them and try again. © Pintrest Break-ups are fairly hard but if two people are ready and willing for a resolution and want to take the dynamic from a negative to a positive by starting a brand new friendship, there are ways you can work things around and move away from the bad things that have happened and be good friends with your ex.
  2. One of the first prerequisites to date someone successfully is seeing how you're first date ever went with them to give them a second chance! That's how dating life get's a lifeline if you don't screw up on the first date or avoid a 'red flag' situation; then there is a bright chance for you to be a part of the second date. (c)Thinkstock/Getty Images So, in order to have the 'perfect' first date, here are 5 prominent red flags you can and should avoid and get to see the girl you really like for the second date! (1) Don't Act Miserly It's a date for heaven's sake, not a night out with the boys! So, if you do get the bill and you're splitting it, don't become a miser for the last rupee she may have left! What I mean is stop splitting the bill to the T and making sure she pays every penny of the split. Offer to pay and if she wants to go dutch just let her decide how she would like to. Either by paying cash or splitting the amount on the debit card is her call and you don't have to do severe math and waste time on the bill! (c)Pintrest (2) Do Not Treat The Wait Staff Like Shit If you're out and about and don't show any decency to the support staff at restaurants and hotels then you're in for trouble my friend. Let me tell you, the biggest red flag is unkindness and if you act like an entitled man where you shouldn't be acting like one, she's definitely going to strike you out. Women determine a man's character by the way he holds a conversation with other people as well. So, if you treat someone poorly, she's going to show you the door! (c)Pintrest (3) Don't Force Anything Women have a mind of their own and they like to speak it whenever necessary. So, there isn't a point in you telling her what to do or how to do it really. In fact that's a big turn off. Of course decide the evening unanimously, I am not saying let her take charge of the evening but steer clear of the things she rather not like you do. Understand consent and what it really means before taking any steps forward. If she doesn't want to come back home with you or invite you to hers, don't force her to do the same, it'll really not go down well. Have fun on your first date, don't dictate terms or be forceful. (c)Thinkstock/Getty Images (4) Keep A Check On Your Alcohol Intake First dates are markers for the second date. It's a good time to realise for both you and her whether or not you'd like a second date. So, it's best to keep your inhibitions in check and maybe not splurge on alcohol and get absolutely wasted. I mean if that's the plan to have some unadulterated fun, then go ahead but if you really want to get to know her and remember it the next day, it's wise to hold your drink. If both of you decide to get wasted then I guess that makes for a successful good first date too! (c)Pintrest (5) Misogyny Is Never Welcomed Misogyny could come under any form. You describing your ex in bad taste, you generalising other women, showing off about your work and putting others down, it takes all forms and shapes and more often than not we don't realise when we're being misogynists because of our conditioning. So it will be good if you're mindful of how you structure your words during a conversation with her. Even saying something as simple as ' you're not like the other women' can be termed as misogynistic. You may not realise it and you may think you're praising her but in reality you're insulting all the other women. Honestly, it's offensive to say the least. Give her more prominent compliments and keep the misogynistic comments in check! (c)Pintrest There are other red flags such as bad grooming and table manners, lack of confidence etc. but these 5 are very prominent because they tell a woman a lot about your conditioning as a man and talk more about your basic inherent mannerisms. A girl does judge a man by the most basic and fundamental manners he may possess and if you have these all sorted, you're definitely a liable candidate for the second date!
  3. Most people, specifically men, don't pay much heed to the kind of clothes that they invest in, let alone the quality of its fabric. Not that we are trying to undermine men, OR their knowledge of fabrics, but if there's something that we can say without any hums and haws it's that not many men harbour the proper knowledge of fabrics beyond the more commonly used cotton and wool. While wool is the fabric for winters, summers are all about cool and breathable cotton garms. But did you have any idea that these fabrics have their own variants too? Given the spine-chilling winters that the country experienced this year, we are pretty much anticipating that the summers, which are around the corner, are gonna be equally harsh on us, and so it becomes requisite that we start gearing up, or rather, “garming” up! While we are all no stranger to the fact that cotton is the ultimate go-to fabric for the scorching summer days, we often end up not paying enough attention to all the different types of cotton that are being used to curate men's wear. This is where Supima cotton becomes a godsend. An underrated variety of cotton, which not many people are aware of, it happens to be one of the BEST forms of cotton available out there. As such, it's high time that we bestow it with the stardom that it legit deserves! There are very few brands in the market which craft Supima cotton shirts, or Supima cotton t shirts, which, once again, is chiefly owed to the fact that not many are even aware of its nonpareil quality. That needs to change. So, to help you get acquainted (and fall in love!) with this variant of cotton, and its exceptional qualities, we at MensXP have curated this guide, which is the only Supima cotton guide you need. What Is Supima Cotton? © Shutterstock Most men tend to have a relatively limited collection of clothes in their wardrobe, and often end up re-using the same piece of garm over and over. But before you know it, that t-shirt that you absolutely swear by has worn out to the point where the only purpose it can serve involves turning it into a kitchen cloth (Haven't we all been there?) To combat just that, Supima cotton makes for an investment that you wouldn't ever regret. Supima cotton is a premium variety of cotton which is cultivated exclusively in the countries of west and southwest America and represents only 1% of all the cotton that is grown across the globe. Featuring extra long staples, Supima cotton is way softer, stronger, and more durable than regular cotton fabric, which when used in garment or handloom production ensures prime quality and unmatched resilience. Where Does It Come From? © Shutterstock While cotton is cultivated extensively around the world, Supima cotton, in particular, is a high-quality American product which is exclusively cultivated in the south and southwest regions of the United States, particularly in California, Arizona, Texas and New Mexico. The origin of Supima cotton goes back to the 1790s when the producers developed an exceptionally good American extra-long staple cotton, which was incredibly soft, as well as strong. However, it was actually in the 1900s that this cotton acquired its name, and since then, there has been a significant advancement in its seed and crop quality. The cultivators across the American state use cutting-edge and environment-friendly technologies and methods to farm this crop, which in turn results in a healthy harvest, an excellent Supima fabric, and ultimately the finest quality of products. What Are The Benefits Of Supima Cotton? © March Tee Saying that Supima cotton is good would be an understatement, for it is packed with properties which in a number of ways are unparalleled. Since the cotton fabric is often considered synonymous with comfort, which makes it so popular in the scorching summer months, it is also important that you fork out your money on the right type of cotton. To fulfil just that, Supima cotton becomes a godsend, and steals the show with its outstanding properties, some of which are: 1. It is an incredibly soft fabric Summers call for comfort, and since garments are your second skin, there's nothing more comforting than sporting something that allow your skin to breathe. To prevent your skin from gasping for air, it is time that you invest in clothes which feature a Supima cotton make. This type of cotton feels exceptionally soft on your skin, owing to its extra long fibres. 2. It doesn't compromise on durability Hate having to get rid of your favourite garms? Fret not! Not only does Supima cotton feel softer on the skin, but it is also stronger in its composition than other commonly used types of cotton. The strength of the fabric too is credited to its extra-long fibres, which makes this cotton (as well as its products!) more resilient, all the while preventing easy breakage and wearing out of the fabric. 3. Better colour absorption We are pretty much certain that no one likes sinking money into garments which lose their colour after the very first wash, especially those who are all about solid colours. Supima cotton earns one more brownie point in this department for it works wonderfully in absorbing colours and also prevents them from fading away. Is Supima Cotton Better Than Regular Cotton? © March Tee Cotton comes in a variety of different shapes, sizes, and fibre strengths, something that not many mortals are aware of. Most of the garments, or handloom products which we use on a regular basis are crafted out of what we call “regular cotton” or other widely cultivated variants of cotton, which are often less expensive, as compared to Supima cotton. Regular cotton, which also makes up for the most commonly utilized variety of cotton may be friendly to most pockets, but it can not rival the excellent quality that is extended by Supima cotton, which is TWICE as stronger and FOUR TIMES as softer than regular cotton. Supima cotton features a longer staple length of up to 2 inches, as compared to regular cotton which has a shorter staple length of 1.125 inches. This is what contributes to the superior quality that Supima products are packed with. The garments crafted out of Supima cotton come out way softer and more durable than those featuring a regular cotton make, which makes for the prime reason for why one should invest in Supima cotton. Is It Expensive? © Unsplash Splurging a fortune on clothing isn't everybody's cup of tea, so it becomes essential that we address the cost which comes attached with this premium quality cotton and its products. The talk around town is that products crafted out of Supima cotton often come with a hefty price tag, and we don't completely disagree! However, the superlative strength and durability of Supima cotton make it worth its weight in gold! For instance, you spend a minuscule amount of money on a t-shirt and don it everywhere you go. But, as soon as you begin to fall in love with it, you see strings of thread popping out from numerous places, the colour starts fading after just a few washes, and the fabric begins to die away. Supima cotton products may be a tad bit costlier when compared to products which are fabricated out of regular cotton, but you won't have to worry about those clothes getting worn out and depreciating so soon. So you'll actually be saving a lot of money in the long run, especially since you won't have to buy new Supima cotton t-shirts or trousers every couple of months to replace the old ones. What All Can You Get In Supima Cotton? © Unsplash Most men would be happy to learn that a fine Supima cotton make is not just limited to t shirts, and that there are a plethora of other things which are made out of top quality Supima. From shirts and trousers, to briefs and even socks, an array of brands today are slowly, but masterfully making the shift to this premium quality cotton and crafting high-quality products for your luxury and comfort. There are a number of official websites which sell an elaborate range of Supima products, and since they are reputed enough, you can rest assured about the quality and authenticity of their products. How To Identify Supima Cotton Products? © March Tee If you are willing to invest in products which are crafted out of A-grade Supima cotton fabric, then you would also want to be sure that the products feature a pure Supima make. In simpler words, distinguishing between Supima cotton and other types of cotton, solely on the basis of the texture of fabric may not be as easy and as helpful as it may sound. However, there are some ways in which you can make certain that you are spending your bucks on the right stuff. Most brands selling Supima cotton products make sure that they advertise it on the product label itself. For we live in a world which is far from being perfect, we would not recommend you to blindly trust what's given on the label, for a plethora of sellers forge the consumers by selling inferior quality products, wrongly claiming that they are made out of Supima. As such, in order to ensure that t shirt that you are buying is crafted out of authentic Supima cotton, it is also essential that you only shop from the official websites which hold a reputation for curating pure Supima cotton products.

  6. 2019 has begun and nerds are even more excited to see what the future holds. We've already compiled a list of top smartphone moments of 2018 and now, we'll talk about the trends that shall take-off soon in the coming year. Technology has been advancing at a rapid pace, and there's no stopping it. Not only are features getting more complicated and intense, but also cheaper. A flagship feature trickles down to the midrange as well as the budget segment in no time. And with the plethora of options available, brands are working harder every day to differentiate themselves. These are the top features we expect to see in 2019 smartphones: 1. Foldable Phones: © YouTube This is by far the most interesting concept, it's something we've been waiting for years. Samsung has periodically teased that they're working on the technology and shall be ready for scaled consumer manufacturing soon. In November of 2018, they finally showed off a concept phone for just a few seconds. Flexible OLED technology will allow the actual screen itself to bend and fold without the use of hinges or the extra bulk associated with implementing two separate screens, meaning a foldable thinner smartphone. Samsung did not detail whether the smartphone will go on sale anytime soon or how much it will cost, but it's expected to come out soon, and cost a bomb. Even though it'll take some more time to make it cheaper, multiple companies like Huawei and LG are researching too. 2. Punch-Hole Camera: © Samsung Samsung Galaxy A8s, the Nova 4 as well as the Honor View 20 are among the few to already sport a punch-hole camera. Samsung completely skipped the notch and went ahead with this design addition. On the A8s, a little camera hole in the display houses a 24-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. That is a major step up from some of the smaller notches we've seen in other devices that have opted to go for teardrop display cutout rather than this hole-punch method. The implementation is still at a very nascent stage though. A black ring around the camera is the result of the camera protruding through every layer of the display except for the very surface level. Thanks to multiple layers, light has a greater chance of leaking through and affects image quality as well as display durability. While punch-hole displays are expected to be limited to the higher-midrange or flagships, the notch isn't going anywhere soon. The water-drop notch has been a hit and more and more companies are expected to house it. 3. Time Of Flight Camera: © Vivo Time of Flight (ToF) is an optical radar system and is able to identify faces even from comparatively long distances. It's said to function perfectly even in different lighting conditions. The recently launched OPPO R17 Pro is the first phone to feature this sensor. ToF 3D Sensing Technology offers an advanced experience by enabling 3D mapping at up to three metres from the phone while having a smaller baseline than traditional technology that is called "structured light". It has exponentially more sensors points than iPhone's current 3D array setup and has even more applications. Apart from authentication, it can also be used to identify hand gestures and upgrade the existing AR sticker experience. 4. In-Display Fingerprint Scanner: © BCCL This is no longer a "new" feature, but we expect it to get better and cheaper in the coming months. After the launch of the iPhone 5S, every brand was trying to incorporate a fingerprint scanner on their phone. In a couple of years, an external scanner has become a bare minimum necessity. In the same way, an in-display fingerprint scanner is slightly slower than the external one, but companies are constantly improving the mechanism. Synaptics has already released multiple improved variants in one year itself, hence you'll notice a lot of difference between the Vivo X21 and OnePlus 6T's unlocking speed. 5. Faster Charging And Bigger Batteries: © OPPO There are several such technologies available, including Qualcomm Quick Charge, OnePlus Dash Charge, among others. Brands are now involved in a race, who has the fastest solution? The Huawei Mate 20 Pro houses a 4200mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge and also supports 15W wireless charging support. According to PhoneArena, you can charge 1.5 per cent of the battery in just a minute while 22W charging on the P20 Pro restores 1.1 per cent every minute. In comparison, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 takes 30 minutes or less to charge 50 per cent and OnePlus' Dash Charging can get to 60 per cent charge in just 30 minutes. Battery sizes too have shot up and it's not just for the flagships. Even a budget phone like the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 4000mAh battery. Companies are also working on improving the life cycle of batteries, and this is something Apple really needs to start considering.

  9. There's nothing like some good music to end the year on a high. That's exactly what you can expect at the Sunburn Festival 2018. With some of the best DJ's in the world in attendance, it's a show like you've never seen before. Unless you've been to a Sunburn Festival in the past, that is. For some of you who still have no idea who's performing at the Sunburn Festival 2018 we've put together a list of 5 artists we're stoked to see. Why? They're absolutely amazing that's why… Alan Walker Who better to start off this list than the great Alan Walker. If you don't remember his name, you'll certainly remember one of his biggest hits, Faded. But, apart from loving him for creating some of the best music we've ever heard, we can't help but hate him a little. Simply because he's just 21. Damnit! 21 and number 36 on the list of the best DJ's in the world. What were you doing at 21? Still figuring stuff out, right? Nucleya As far as Indian DJ's go, there aren't many who can match up to the man! From the time “Akkad Bakkad” started him on the path of success to the time “Bass Rani” shot him to superstardom, Nucleya has come a long way. Tota Myna, his latest album, is another great production by this artist. Apart from this, he's performed with some of the biggest names in the music business. So, whatever he has planned for Sunburn, we're sure it's going to be spectacular. DJ Snake “Turn Down For What.” Yeah, that was the song that turned DJ Snake into a global sensation. Today, his trademark sounds stand out from the rest. For example, Taki Taki is ruling the airwaves right now. Enjoy... You can expect this and a lot more from DJ Snake at the Sunburn Festival 2018. He is the headliner after all. Axwell ^ Ingrosso Axwell ^ Ingrosso are among the top DJ performers in the world right now. They are one of the most seasoned performers at the Sunburn Festival 2018. They are also 2/3rd's of the Swedish House Mafia. My first tryst with Axwell was when he remixed “Teenage Crime.” An already spectacular song, made only better by the great man himself. As for the duo, I just can't get over 'Sun Is Shining.' Here's hoping we get to hear all this and much more at the Sunburn Festival 2018. Divine Lastly, we have the Indian rapper Divine. He's one of the newest names in this list but has the distinction of being one of the few Indian musicians with a movie being made about their life. These are just 5 performers we can't wait to see at the Sunburn Festival 2018. There are sure to be lots of surprises over the 3 days at the end of December (29th to 31st December). We wouldn't miss it for the world.

Talk about upping the game every year. © Sunburn Festival/Facebook The Lineup - We couldn't write this article without talking about the biggest and most hyped aspect of the festival which is of course - the lineup. This year's edition hosts the biggest and best (as per usual) in the EDM scene including DJ Snake, Axwell Ingroso, Armin Van Buuren, Krewella, Salvatore Ganacci and many many more. © Sunburn Festival/Facebook The Best Indian DJ's on the Biggest Stage - No matter how big Sunburn gets, they never forget homegrown talents. Indian DJ's are celebrated and given the biggest platforms to showcase their skills and go toe to toe with the biggest international acts. Your favourite international DJ's might be on the lineup this year but you never know when somebody from your hometown might take that top spot. Sunburn 2018 is shaping up to be yet another memorable edition for the festival and from the looks of it the festival just keeps getting bigger and badder with every passing year. See you there!
  11. For a really long time, the worlds of men's and women's cricket shared a wide gap in pay structure, popularity and facilities. But, while things are getting better, they, thankfully, aren't the same anymore for women's cricket. Today, women cricketers have not only managed to carve their own niche, but their exploits on the field have made the game more popular among fans, who were earlier glued to men's events. Adding to its rise over the years, women's cricket is now set to witness a historic event - one that clearly highlights how far it has come. Breaking away from the shadows of their male counterparts, women's cricket now boasts of a standalone 2018 World T20, which is slated to begin from 9th November in the Caribbean. For the first time in history, women's cricket will have a showpiece ICC event that will not be a precursor or filler for the men's tournament. While the upcoming event surely marks the new age of women's cricket, it's journey over the years has been worth talking. Reflecting on the evolution of women's game, Indian women's star Jhulan Goswami gave an insight into how far they've come. © BCCL Jhulan, the only bowler in the women's game with over 200 ODI wickets, reflected on her time in international cricket and also looked ahead to the upcoming World T20 in West Indies. “I remember staying in an accommodation with bunk beds for my first World Cup, in 2005. For domestic matches, we often travelled unreserved in trains, and played on grounds where getting injured would have been very easy,” the 35-year-old wrote in her column for the ICC. “There were countless junior tournaments where we stayed in dormitories and slept on mattresses on the floor. There's been such a massive change to women's cricket since I started playing,” she said. The World Cup's league matches will be played in Guyana and St Lucia from 9-18 November with the two semifinals and the final in Antigua on 22nd and 24th November, respectively. This being the first ever standalone Women's World T20, Jhulan feels it will generate more publicity. “I was a part of all the previous ICC Women's World T20s right from the first one in 2009…Those were tournaments held alongside the men; yes, people were watching, and there was good publicity for the women's games, but what I found was that by having it simultaneously with the men, the women would be in the shadows,” she added. © BCCL On the previous world events being held simultaneously with the men's tournaments, she said: “Before the semifinals, people would not be aware about the women's games, as only the semifinals and the final were televised. So, we didn't get the publicity that we should have received”. Recalling the 2017 World Cup as the best in terms of organisation, Jhulan said things started to change with the 2009 edition in Australia. “I recall so many funny memories when I think about multiple teams sharing one bathroom. Back then, the IWCC (International Women's Cricket Council) and the WCAI (Women's Cricket Association of India) did a very creditable job with the resources they had," she said. © Twitter “But we could really see the difference in the 2009 World Cup in Australia, which was the first one organised by the ICC. All of a sudden, we had the best hotels, great grounds, a daily allowance. “Even for domestic tournaments, the BCCI's entry meant that flights replaced trains. Instead of fighting other passengers for a place to sit, we fought with each other for window seats!,” she concluded. The last few years have been transformational for the women's game and there is much greater interest and curiosity among spectators across the globe. Ever since its inception in 2004, International Women's T20 cricket has also come a long way as it no longer needs to feed of the men's version to grab limelight or fanfare. The women's game, now, thrives on the popularity of its own games and heroes who will be eager to prove their mettle once again in the historic event in the Caribbean.
  12. Imagine waking up to 40 unread messages and all of them happen to be 'Good Morning' forwards and jokes sent by your parents, on various Whatsapp groups you share with them. I won't be surprised if your mother sends you a 'Good Morning' message while sitting next to you (because my mom does that). The point is, our parents love to forward the same thing to every group and individual possible. But, when Lady Gaga did something similar, she got trolled on social media. She definitely didn't send anyone a 'Good Morning' message, but she did sound like a record player stuck on a single line. From asking about movie characters, story plot to chemistry with the co-actor and working with them on the sets, celebrities get bombarded with tons of questions on promotional tours. And things were no different for Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga, who is currently busy doing press tours for her movie 'A Star Is Born', was also asked about her experience of working with Bradley Cooper. She said, "There can be 100 people in a room and 99 of them don't believe in you but all it takes is one and it just changes your whole life." And that one is Bradley Cooper. Sounds familiar? Well, it's because we've heard it before, then she said it again and again and AGAIN. At least, now Bradley knows that she is really grateful towards him. But, Twitter being Twitter didn't leave this golden opportunity to make golden memes. Me lying to all my exes. pic.twitter.com/snPdLfrQK9 — Complex (@Complex) October 17, 2018 Mom forwarding the same message in different Whatsapp Groups pic.twitter.com/EvbJYmkDx4 — Bollywood Gandu (@BollywoodGandu) October 26, 2018 “And the Oscar goes to... 13. The year 2018 has given us some really good movies so far, with most of them crossing the 100-crore mark (let's keep 'Race 3' out of this discussion) within a few weeks of its release. While we thought things can't get any better that this, looks like Bollywood isn't done for the year yet. Thanks to Bollywood and this impressive line-up of movies, October just got a whole lot better. From 'Baazaar', 'Badhaai Ho' to 'Andhadhun', October will come packed with some really interesting movies and only time will tell if they manage to capture viewers' attention or not. So without further ado, let's take a look at these movies. 1. AndhaDhun Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Radhika Apte, 'AndhaDhun' is a romantic thriller that has the potential to leave us clueless, confused and hooked to it till the last minute of the movie. Ayushmann plays a blind talented pianist who finds himself stuck in the middle of a murder mystery as a prime witness. But is he really blind though? Directed by Sriram Raghavan, 'AndhaDhun' is releasing on 5th October. 2. Badhaai Ho With two back to back movies in the same month, Ayushmann Khurrana is on a roll this year. And not just any movie, both these movies have the chance to become blockbusters at the box-office. Ayushmann Khurrana gets the shock of his life when he fnds out his mother is pregnant. What unfolds next is a series of hilarious situations which brings out the best of each character in the movie. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, 'Badhaai Ho' is releasing on October 19. 3. Baazaar Directed by Gauravv K. Chawla, 'Baazaar' is a movie based on stock market. Saif Ali Khan plays a Gujarati businessman called Shakun Kothari, a ruthless businessman who puts money above everything else and wants to make it big in the world. Looks like Saif Ali Khan has decided that he will rule the box-office this year with his kick-ass performances. The movie is releasing on October 26. 4. Helicopter Eela Starring Kajol and Riddhi Sen, 'Helicopter Eela' is the story of a single mother, who decides to pursue her education after 22 years and joins the same college where her son studies. This modern age drama is a humourous, quirky, emotional and never seen before take on a mother-son relationship. The movie is releasing on October 12. 5. Namaste England Starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, the movie has huge responsibilities on its shoulders, given it's a sequel to the 2007 blockbuster hit 'Namaste London'. Although the trailer failed to impress a lot of people, let's not give out the judgement already. We guess we can still give this movie a chance for its amazing music. 'Namaste England' is releasing on October 19. 6. Jalebi How can we miss this movie that gave us some of the most hilarious memes, when the internet was officially done with 'Sui Dhaaga' memes. Featuring Rhea Chakraborty, debutante Varun Mitra and Digangana Suryavanshi in lead roles, 'Jalebi' is a movie about love, its complexities and how sometimes one has to let go of things that are important to you. It's a remake of the Bengali movie 'Praktan'. 'Jalebi' is releasing on October 12. 7. Loveyatri Even before its release, the movie has been making headlines for the controversies surrounding it. Starring Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and newcomer Warina Hussain, the movie is a romantic-comedy with major garba and dandiya vibes in every frame. Directed by Abhiraj Maniwala, 'Loveyatri' will hit the theatres on October 5. 8. 5 Weddings Directed by Namrata Singh Gujral, '5 Weddings' is a film set in the United States and India and stars Rajkummar Rao and Nargis Fakhri in leading roles. This movie is about an American journalist, who travels to India to cover the multiple Indian wedding ceremonies. '5 Weddings' is expected to release on October 26.
  14. If you're one of those serial WhatsApp message forwarders, we have some bad news for you. In a recent blog post by WhatsApp, the company said it will soon be limiting users from forwarding messages to only five people at a time. This decision was taken to curtail the rapidly spreading menace of fake news, especially in India, which has led to misunderstood mob lynching and deaths of several civilians. © Reuters WhatsApp said in the blog post, “Today, we're launching a test to limit forwarding that will apply to everyone using WhatsApp. In India - where people forward more messages, photos, and videos than any other country in the world - we'll also test a lower limit of 5 chats at once and we'll remove the quick forward button next to media messages.” The Indian Government recently issued a notice to WhatsApp to bring more effective solutions to curb this problem. Recently, WhatsApp added a feature that would let users identify forwarded messages with a label. The company also took out full-page advertisements in Indian newspapers to highlight “easy tips” for spotting fake news. © WhatsApp The Centre said in a statement “When rumours and fake news get propagated by mischief mongers, the medium used for such propagation cannot evade responsibility and accountability. If they remain, mute spectators, they are liable to be treated as abettors and thereafter face consequent legal action. It has been conveyed to them in unmistakable terms that it is a very serious issue which deserves a more sensitive response,” © Reuters WhatsApp currently has over 200 million active users in India, where forwarding messages is a common practice. Forwarded messages include simple 'Good Morning' messages and sometimes even fake news, which has led to angry mobs targeting innocent people. Most of these forwarded messages include texts, photos, and videos. Fake messages about children kidnappers on WhatsApp has led to at least 12 people being harassed or physically assaulted. 15. The Christmas lights are twinkling, the mince pies baked and the egg nog has been poured. With Christmas just around the corner, we turn our thoughts to what 2018 may bring. Marc Stridgen (Tech support and kettlebell enthusiast) I'm just looking forward to 2018 being less of a mixed year, as 2017 has been a bit of a bad one on the side of family, yet good with regards work and personal achievements. So here goes for my 2018: Looking forward to 4.3 and beyond. 4.2 I feel has been a great release for people, and will be nice to expand on the 4.x platform over the next year. Getting my wife and daughter to a happier place in life. Various things this year have meant they really haven't been. I have 3 events so far this year that I'm attending. 1 x 5k obstacle course, 1 x 10k obstacle course, and a 60 mile ride from Manchester to Blackpool. I always look forward to these, as its always a good sense of achievement when they are done, and a good excuse to get that little more in shape. Dev, dev, dev!! Whilst I am currently tier 1 support here at IPS, I'm actually a developer by trade. Currently I write .NET windows applications/services, and vast experience with TSQL. My aim this year is to update my own skillsets to web based development, and mysql. Something I have already started to do, but I'm going to be pushing myself more on over the coming year. It's fun to learn new things! (Editor: Marc is a highly skilled SQL specialist. Even Wade has been known to ask Marc for advice) Ryan Ashbrook (Developer, T3 specialist and guitar collector) My life is actually pretty boring (Editor: nope, it's not) - I don't have a whole lot planned going into 2018, though I am looking forward to my 30th birthday in March. People think I'm weird for that. I plan on getting back into music, though, as I've actually stopped playing throughout all of 2017 (aside from a few rare instances here and there), so it'll be nice to pick that up again as a healthy hobby. I also wouldn't mind traveling more, and make a return trip to New Hampshire with my friends, which I haven't done in four-ish years now. For IPS, I'm looking forward to seeing how 4.3 evolves and matures, as well as the new Community in the Cloud infrastructure. Mark Wade (Senior Developer and praise withholder) Obviously 4.3 and onwards 😜 I have some cool stuff (at least by my standards) planned, including weekends in Edinburgh and Berlin at the beginning of the year, and Country To Country Festival at the O2 in March 🤠 and, best of all... Shania Twain at the O2 in October 😂 Prides! 🏳️‍🌈 This year I only did Manchester... a terrible effort. I need to get at least 2 in in 2018 New TV seasons, especially Black Mirror and GBBO. (Editor: That's Great British Bake Off, the most British television show on the planet. People make cakes and then discuss cakes while drinking tea) Brandon Farber (Developer) For 2018 I'm most looking forward to: Watching my beautiful baby daughter grow. Even with 6 kids, the baby phase is always such a special and enjoyable time. Wrapping up some various challenges in real life that are finally coming to an end. Watching my eldest son start college in the fall (UNC most likely) Taking one big family vacation. We're hoping Disney World but we'll wait and see what's in store as the year gets going. Probably the cutest pictures you'll see today. Stuart Silvester (Developer and property mogul) I'm looking forward to 2018 being a better all around year for my close family, 2017 wasn't the best. I'm definitely looking forward to taking some more trips abroad, most like back to Italy and Madeira (Where my Wife and I spent Christmas 2016). I'm also looking forward to hopefully finding some spare time to work on other things such as renovating my home and putting my classic car back on the road. Learning new things is always useful, I've been wanting to start working on something such as an App or Node.JS (I've used it a little in the past, but not a lot), the issue however is the lack of spare time this year. Mark Higgins (Tech Support and part-time Phil) For 2018, I am hoping for an early warm Spring, then a mild Summer. Also hopeful that I can get my pop-up camper fixed so I can have a relaxing vacation in the Fall somewhere "up north" in one of our fantastic State Parks. That, and good health for me and my relatives. (Editor's Tip: if you hear banjo music, get in your car and get out of there) Jennifer Merriman (Designer and owner of the only pink avatar in chat) What do I have to look forward to in 2018? Well this one was difficult because I prefer to live pretty spontaneously. However, I thought about the things in my life that I know will transpire this year. My youngest child will turn 10 and my eldest 13... I'm terrified but excited to see them as they grow more independent. Loosening up the mom reigns by letting my kids start to do things a little more out of my control more regularly. A few million new movies like Aquaman, Jurassic World, Deadpool 2 and Incredibles 2. Otherwise just improved situations for myself and those around me. Both health and whatever else needs improved upon. Daniel Fatkic (Developer and owner of a store with sauna) 2018 is going to be a very busy year with my 3 jobs ( IPS, Dad and Handyman renovating a lot in the house) where I look forward in getting better in all 3 of them. Right now I'm working on my new home-office which will hopefully be finished soon, in spring I want to start the work on the outdoor area and create a patio and a rooftop terrace and the next winter project is the gym/spa area which won't leave much spare time or money for anything else. So what I really really look forward to is 2019 where I can then finally relax and enjoy the stuff which was built in 2018. (Editor: If you're wondering where your spare money went, look at your two LG 27" 5K monitors) Rhett Buck (Hosting expert who needs a ladder to get into his car) I'm looking forward to some time off and a trip to Texas with just the wife and I, top down, no phones, and a few days on the road to get there via Las Vegas, Arizona and a few other stops along the way. Spending a few days with friends relaxing watching MotoGP in Austin Texas, then a few days of relaxing on the open road on the way home. We had planned to go last year, but due to nasty weather, torrential rains, and flooding locally, we were displaced for a couple weeks which ruined our plans. Andy Millne (Developer and international man of mystery) Continued learning mostly. I’m looking forward to further improving my basic Italian language knowledge that I started taking a lot more seriously (It’s not just about waving your arms around). I would also like to fit in some more travel and to visit some old friends I haven’t seen in a while. There’s still so much of the world left to see though! Where to start? On an IPS related theme, I’m of course looking forward to 4.3 and seeing new features we’ve been working on released into the wild, and the stuff that hasn’t even been dreamt of yet. Matt Mecham (Senior Developer, social media stuff and object of ridicule) I'm really looking forward to 2018, personally and professionally. I'm really excited about launching Invision Community 4.3 which is shaping up to build on the great foundation that 4.2 built and add some cool functionality. (Editor: yes, that's enough of the sales pitch, people want to read about the team). As a dad of two, I enjoy watching my kids grow. My nine year old is becoming more independent and my two year old is getting more confident with speech. I love watching them grow up. We've also booked to take them to Disneyland in Paris in April which we're all looking forward to. Disneyland Paris. Like the ones in America but colder and nearer to the UK. We would love to hear what you're looking forward to in 2018. Let us know in the comments below!
