  7. Not all movies are meant to entertain us and be watched with friends or family. Sometimes, on days when our hearts are full of doubts and the weight of the world is upon our shoulders, one needs to just have a good cry. Mark this list for the days when you need to watch a tearjerker and cry in peace: 1. Masoom Please prepare to go on a roller coaster of emotions with this absolutely beautiful movie about a little boy craving the love of a family and a father who is too embarrassed to have him. 100% guarantee that it will clean your eye ducts. 2. Sadma Catharsis is a beautiful literary device and this wonderfully sad (if I may call it) movie ensures that the end will leave you wiping your tears. 3. One Day A gorgeously written unconventional romantic movie which explores the various aspects of a relationship which finds its roots in a friendship. Anne Hathaway gave us all the feels and our hearts bled towards the end. 4. Hachi Probably the only 'dog' movie I have ever been able to watch in my life because it is easy for me to watch humans die in a story but the pain of a dog is unfathomable for my soul. However, no dog deaths are involved in this but it explores the pious relationship your canine love shares with you. Please watch it when you need a hearty cry. 5. Room A young mother and her son are kept captive for years, and the mother fights hard for survival. A small movie that can leave a big impact on your heart and make you love things in life harder as you appreciate them. 6. Taare Zameen Par If the song 'Maa' was not enough, this movie can melt the strongest of hearts. There is something about the little protagonist trying to fit in the adult world which makes you want to hug yourself for all the times you felt alone. View the full article

Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) 2h 14min | Action,Thriller, Sci-Fi | Writers: James Cameron (story by), Charles H. Eglee (story by) | directed by Tim Miller, with a screenplay by David S. Goyer, Justin Rhodes and Billy Ray from a story by James Cameron, Charles Eglee, Josh Friedman, Goyer and Rhodes. Cameron and David Ellison are the film’s producers. It is the sixth installment in the Terminator franchise and the first since Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) to have franchise creator James Cameron involved. Terminator: Dark Fate 2019 – Movie Review: Terminator: Dark Fate Hindi : This sequel had so much promise from the trailers and James Cameron’s endorsement. However, it did not feel right from the beginning. The main actors did not seem invested in their characters and the emotional cues seem misplaced at times i.e. the actors seemed lost and they looked like they were trying hard to act/stay in character. Terminator: Dark Fate 2019 – Storyline : Terminator.Dark.Fate.2019 In 1998, three years after defeating the T-1000 and averting the rise of the malevolent artificial intelligence (AI) Skynet, Sarah Connor and her teenage son John are relaxing on a beach. A T-800 Terminator, sent from the future by Skynet, arrives and shoots John, killing him. In 2020, a cybernetically-enhanced young woman named Grace, and a more advanced Terminator model, the Rev-9, are separately transported from the future to Mexico City. The Rev-9 infiltrates a factory where Daniella “Dani” Ramos works alongside her brother Diego. It attempts to kill Dani, but is thwarted by Grace, who escapes with Dani and Diego in a car. The Rev-9 pursues them in a truck, and reveals its ability to split into two separate entities: a powerful endoskeleton, and a liquid-like metallic exterior.
  10. It's been a phenomenal year for smartphone buyers in the budget segment. Among options from makers like Realme, Samsung, Vivo, and Xiaomi, we now have a ton of great budget phones on the market. And Xiaomi has already been heating things up by launching two different budget phones in just the past couple of weeks. Today, we'll be talking about the Redmi 8. The Redmi series, as you probably already know, sits between Xiaomi's Redmi A series and the Redmi Note series. The Redmi 8 is no exception, and it sits right between the Redmi 8A and the new Redmi Note 8. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer There's a lot to like about the Redmi 8, but it's hard to forget that there are a ton of other options out there, some from Xiaomi itself, that are equally good or even better. So is the Redmi 8 worth buying? Let's find out! Design & Build Quality Xiaomi has been making some really good-looking phones lately and the Redmi 8 can also be added to that particular list. It sports a seamless finish with a single piece of a plastic panel covering the back and the frame. It's slightly thicker and heavier, but I don't mind using such a device if I am going to get an impressive battery life. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer Both color variants of the phone have a glossy, mirror-like finish, so it's kind of hard to keep them clean, but I must say that I really love the way this phone looks. It's also not too big and rests nicely in the palm, and the curved design makes it easy to get a good grip as well. Overall, I really like the design and the build quality of the Redmi 8. In fact, there's hardly anything to hate here because the phone also has a USB Type-C at the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack too. Xiaomi has now got a good grip on the design and almost all of their phones, irrespective of the budget, look very elegant. Good job, Xiaomi! Display © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer The Redmi 8 sports a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS display with a waterdrop-style notch at the top. Not only does it look similar to the Redmi 8A, but I'd also say it looks like any other budget phone that's out there. This one also has a chin on the bottom with 'Redmi' branding, and that's something which I'm not a big fan of. The display itself is good and I am happy to say that it's protected by Gorilla Glass 5. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer I'd say it gets decently bright so you can comfortably use it outdoors, but the colors are a bit off out of the box. You might want to tune the colors of the display from the settings to make it look good. I must point out that this isn't a high-resolution display, so you'll definitely notice the pixels if you go looking for them. Performance & Software The Redmi 8 is an entry-level phone that's powered by the Snapdragon 439 SoC and comes with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. I was kind of surprised to learn that the Redmi 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 439 SoC since it's essentially a step down from the Snapdragon 632 used by the Redmi 7. But this one does have more RAM and storage than the predecessor. So, how's the performance? Well, obviously numbers will show you different results, but I think it's just as good as the Redmi 7 if not better. These are entry-level smartphones that aren't meant to keep up with heavy lifting. The Redmi 8 will do just fine in day-to-day usage, juggling between apps, etc. Unless you're trying to stress-test by opening a bunch of apps together, you'll be happy with the Redmi 8. © MensXP Similarly, gaming isn't going to be very enjoyable on an entry-level phone. That said, you can play games on this phone if you really want to. Basic games will do just fine, but I won't recommend running Asphalt 9 and PUBG Mobile and expect a solid performance. Just keep that in mind. As for the software, the Redmi 8 is running MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. I am not a huge fan of MIUI, but there's definitely a lot to like. Bloatware aside, it does come with a ton of features and I am sure you'll like a couple of them like gestures, theme support, etc. Camera The Redmi 8, just like the Redmi 8A, sports a dual-camera setup which includes a 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. I'd like to take a moment to point out that this is the same 12MP sensor that's used in the Pixel 3a as well. Yes, the Google Pixel 3a, the phone which has been my first choice for photography. That said, images taken on the Redmi 8 look nothing like the ones taken from a Pixel 3a. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer Honestly, I'd say the images are just okay-ish at best. The dynamic range in limited and it tends to blow up the highlights. It's also worth pointing out that the phone struggles to lock focus, resulting in blurry images for the most part. Even low-light shots suffer for the most part. Don't get me wrong, the Redmi 8 can take good images provided that there's good lighting and you have steady hands. But I'd say it's still a challenge to take very good-looking images out of this phone which I'd like to share online. That is definitely a deal-breaker for me, and I am sure you'll find better camera phones out there if you're willing to spend slightly more. Anyway, here are some camera samples that I managed to take during my testing - Battery Life The Redmi 8 sports a 5,000mAh battery, and let me tell you that it's very hard to kill this phone. The huge size, coupled with not-so-powerful internals and just HD+ display makes the Redmi 8 a long-lasting phone. Even with moderate usage which includes watching videos online and browsing social media apps, I struggled to exhaust the phone's battery for almost two days. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer It's also worth pointing out that the Redmi 8 supports 18W fast charging and even the included 10W charger inside charges the phone fairly quickly. The Final Say So, is the Redmi 8 worth the asking price of Rs 7,999? Well, in all fairness, the Redmi 8 is an entry-level phone that has a lot going for it. The look and feel of the phone is pretty solid, and I really like how Xiaomi has improved the things that matter the most like battery life. Although you can't really push the Redmi 8 to get a solid performance or use it to get mind-blowing pictures, I'd still say it has plenty to offer if you're looking for a new phone in this price segment. That said, if you don't mind spending a little more, I'd suggest you check out the Redmi Note 8 which is way more impressive for the price.
  11. The newest team that will have the honour of playing against some of the greatest names in the world of cricket such as Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, Eoin Morgan and others, Afghanistan could take the ICC World Cup 2019 by storm this June. For a squad that recorded their first Test win in just their second game, albeit against Ireland, the Afghan side is full of surprises and can not be overlooked by any of the favourites, if they wish to bring home that title with them. The Afghanistan Cricket Board did create shockwaves internationally by sacking captain Asghar Afghan a month before the World Cup, with Gulbadin Naib taking the high chair. Prior to becoming the leader of the team, Naib struggled to find himself a spot in the roster. What makes his appointment a lot more interesting is the kind of comparisons that were made between Naib and Karim Janat, the younger brother of the former skipper, and he is now no more than a reserve for the final Afghan squad. A few logical reasons that come out of giving Naib the highly prestigious spot in the team are the bowling conditions of the English pitches that are in favour of the 28-year-old medium-fast bowler and his fatal off-cutters. His ability to bat on almost any position down the batting order also adds to his resume. © Reuters A negative byproduct of appointing Naib as the skipper is the weak leadership quality at the top. Inexperienced in leading a senior team, the bowler is bound to face a little bit of turbulence, at least in the beginning, just like the 21-year-old Rashid Khan did, during Afghanistan's World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe. Even though Naib will lead the team to England and Wales, the World Cup journey of Afghanistan will major depend on Khan, who is currently the world No 1 ranked one-day allrounder according to ICC Player rankings. © Facebook/Rashid Khan 21-year-old Hazratullah Zazai aka “the Afghan Chris Gayle”, has also made a name for himself for hitting big shots in his short ODI career with the national team. A fine example of his explosiveness was witnessed by the cricketing fraternity in February when he smashed the second highest T20I total, hitting 16 sixes in a 162* run innings against Ireland. Having said that, the team's batting lineup is still a bit raw and highly volatile and in dire need of some balance. This is where Rahmat Shah steps in. A consistent batsman with the highest average in the roster in both ODI and Test formats of the game. While not a lot of people are expecting Team Afghanistan to win the World Cup championship this year, they are still more than capable of ruining the chances of winning for favourites like Virat Kohli's India or Eoin Morgan's England, especially in the 10-team format that quadrennial tournament is following this time over. Squad: Gulbadin Naib(c), Mohammad Shahzad(wk), Noor Ali Zadran, Hazratullah Zazai, Rahmat Shah, Asghar Afghan, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Najibullah Zadran, Samiullah Shinwari, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Dawlat Zadran, Aftab Alam, Hamid Hassan and Mujeeb ur Rahman.
  12. India has been investing a lot of time and money into the country's space programme and India's mission for a manned trip to the moon is clinching closer than ever. In fact, India is three years ahead to send a manned crew to space. In a report by Bloomberg, the second Indian mission to the moon will have a lander, a rover and an orbiter that will be launched sometime between July 9 and July 16. The report goes to point out that all the modules are currently prepping for the mission and the moon landing is scheduled for September 6th. © Space Prime Minister Modi announced a $1.4 billion manned mission to the moon with a deadline of 2022. The Indian Space and Research Organisation or ISRO plans to launch 32 space missions in 2019 alone. © ISRO The second moon mission is being launched with the purpose of seeking and researching a source of waste-free nuclear energy. This new met jig is said to be worth trillions of dollars. India launched its first moon mission in October 2008 and ejected a probe that discovered water molecules on the surface of the moon. The 2008 mission also successfully completed 3,40 orbits. Previously, the ISRO has broken records by launching over 100 satellites in a single launch and specialises in cost-effective space missions. 18. Ever since his arrival at the Emirates stadium, Mesut Ozil has proved to be a vital cog in the Arsenal setup. A versatile midfielder, Ozil thrives in advanced playmaking roles - as a winger on either flank or as an attacking midfielder through the centre. His creative ability and offensive prowess have also earned him the tag of 'assist-king' in the world of football. While he might have struggled to get adequate starts under new manager Unai Emery, there is little doubt over his popularity as a football icon. Cherished by football fans across the globe, Ozil seems to have found a new fanbase in India. Ozil and Ranveer share a special bond ever since the latter visited the Wembley stadium during Arsenal's 2-1 FA Cup win over Chelsea in 2017. A few months back, Ozil had also expressed his desire to visit India and meet Ranveer during his trip. To which, Ranveer had replied: "India awaits you with open arms and a whole lotta warmth, Mesut Bhai! promise you some sweet memories! Soon... Insha Allah!". The bromance between Ozil and Ranveer was once again in full display on the social media as the Indian fans showered praise on the duo. Ppl here in India Love you... 19. Losing a loved one is the most painful thing I can think of, and unfortunately, all of us have to go through it at some point in our lives. But, no one can understand the extremities of that loss like the people who work in the Defence, and their families do. Yesterday, the last rites of Squadron leader Siddharth Vashisht, who died in a Mi-17 chopper crash in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district, were performed with full military honours in Chandigarh. His family, including his wife Squadron Leader Aarti Singh and other fellow officers, were present to bid farewell and mourn the loss. His wife stood in full uniform as his father lit the funeral pyre. The Air Force personnel present gave a gun salute in the presence of officials from the IAF, the civil administration and all the people who turned up to pay their last respects. People couldn't help but salute Squadron Leader Aarti Singh's bravery at this difficult time while mourning for him. Her head was held high, as she clutched the tricolour to her chest, and the internet hailed her stoic spirit. 20. The wait for everyone's favourite (yeah, its already assumed that you enjoy it) 'Game Of Thrones' is about to end soon, because Winter, which may be coming to an end in our world, is yet to come in April. So many teasers, leaked pictures, millions of BTS shots later, fans are desperately waiting for just one thing, ie.- the final trailer to drop on our heads! However, seems like that's not happening just yet. HBO has dropped a video montage of what we should expect this year and there was a tiny footage from 'GOT' as well. My heart stopped when seeing this new Euphoria and The Righteous Gemstones footage and started again at Watchmen. 2019 is my new favorite year. #HBO2019 pic.twitter.com/ybbE1i1Ffb — HBO (@HBO) February 24, 2019 You saw that, right? A rocking performance which included them singing the classic 'We Will Rock You' from 'Bohemian Rhapsody' saw the crowd engage immensely with the aura of their music. The so called 'hostless' Oscars' stage was then taken over by Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Maya Rudolph. The trio's 'Not Your Oscar Hosts' opening was received with a huge roar of laughter from the crowd. Moving on, just like every year, this year's 'Biggest Night Of Hollywood' was another memorable affair. From winners to reunions to special moments, here are some highlights from 91st Academy Awards. 1) Making India Proud © BCCL Oscars 2019 proved to be a historic night for India as Guneet Monga's 'Period. End Of Sentence' won 'Best Documentary Short Subject' at the awards. The film based on menstruation was competing with the likes of 'Black Sheep', 'End Game', 'Lifeboat' and 'A Night at the Garden'. 2) Real Life Captain © Twitter/9gag Chris Evans had a real life 'Captain America' moment because of his chivalrous act towards 'Best Supporting Actress' winner Regina King. Evans helped King up the stairs proving him to be the leading candidate for 'Best At Supporting Actors' award. 3) Wayne's World Reunion © Entertainment tonight Mike Myers and Dana Carvey had a reunion (which we're not worthy of) at the Oscars. The duo's coming together reminded people of the iconic friends headbanging violently while singing along a Queen song in the car scene. Mike and Dana came together to introduce 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. 4) 'Wa-kanda' Awards © Bustle After the amazing year that Marvel has had, many people questioned, “Wa-kan-da awards Marvel hasn't won?” It turns out it was the Oscars. Marvel ended its barren run of the prestigious awards by winning not one, not two, but three trophies as 'Black Panther' won awards for 'Best Costume Design', 'Best Production Design' and 'Best Original Score'. 5) Cooper And Gaga's Show What stole the show was Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's intimate performance of their song 'Shallow' from the movie 'A Star Is Born'. We cannot be thankful enough for a performance like that. Shallow also led Lady Gaga to her first ever Oscar in the 'Best Song' category. 6) Brian And Melissa's Parody Brian Tyree Henry and Melissa McCarthy performed a subtle parody by putting on a fashion show when they came out to announce the category for 'Best Costume Design'. McCarthy stepped out in a mash-up of 'The Favourite' and 'Mary Queen of Scots' in bunny rabbit couture, completed with a bunny hand puppet, while Henry rocked a 'Mary Poppins Returns' look with lots of lace and a dress to match. Below is the list of all the winners of the coveted trophy. 22. The official websites of Pakistan's Foreign Ministry and the Army were hacked on Saturday night, making them inaccessible for users outside the country. Later, several other websites were hacked and defaced. The hackers left behind a message stating "We will never forget #14/02/2019". © Reuters According to the report in Pakistan's Dawn, the government websites were working fine within the country, but users from other countries were unable to access them. Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Faisal said, "The website is functioning without any issues in Pakistan. However, visitors to the website from Holland, Australia, Britain, and Saudi Arabia are facing difficulty opening it." © Reuters Several media reports say a list of the hacked websites is being circulated on WhatsApp and other social media platforms claiming that "Pakistan has faced it's worst cyber attack in history, in last 72 hours". A lot of these websites have been brought back to normal now. "The IT team is currently occupied in thwarting the hackers onslaught," Faisal added. These cyber attacks by Indian ethical hackers come after over 40 CRPF personnel were killed on 14th February 2019 in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. Previously, fingers were pointed to India-based hackers when the official website of PPP was found defaced in June 2017. © BCCL Jaish-e-Mohammad claimed responsibility for the attack, and the group is known to be shielded by the Pakistani administration. The Indian government has slammed Pakistan over its terror links, but the neighbouring country has denied charges. Over 50 countries have condemned the barbaric attack and expressed support to India in its fight against terrorism. Immediately after the attack, India withdrew the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status, which was accorded to Pakistan in 1996.
  23. 2019 in Bollywood, seems to be the year of love stories which do not follow the clichéd route of a generic, normal routine of boy-meets-girl. The upcoming movie 'Luka Chuppi' explores the complicated concept of a live-in relationship in India, 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' was about queer romance and now, 'Photogragh' is coming our way and it looks like an unusual love story as well. The movie follows the story of a struggling street photographer played by Nawaz who convinces a Gujarati girl called 'Noorie' to pose as his fiancée for his ailing grandmother. He clicks a picture of Noorie which intrigues her and thus, they form a bond which is unusual yet special in its own way. © Amazon studios The trailer doesn't give out much and leaves us intrigued until the end. However, we totally trust the duo to give us a fabulous movie given their track record of stellar acting. Their story will unfold on 15th March 2019.

  25. While everyone is sharing their #10YearChallenge pictures, Ranveer Singh posted a video that marks the first anniversary of 'Padmaavat'. While it was already established that despite his raw savagery, Allauddin Khilji is the most fashionable and charming anti-hero ever, this throwback just put the cherry on the cake. (c) YouTube When Allauddin danced to 'Khalibali', we already were shook, but when he did an epic lip-sync to the super-famous party track 'Makeba' in full make-up, accessories, and outfit, it showed that a true-blue fashionable rockstar resides inside the actor, who'll perhaps will take over in the super anticipated 'Gully Boy'. (c) Instagram/Ranveersingh We were blown over by the huge rings and the necklace, along with the kohl-laden eyes doing this sick AF rendition of Makeba, but the reckless abandonment with which he did it just nails it. We could watch it all day! Watch the video here.
