FILE photo. QUETTA: At least two people were injured in a grenade blast in Turbat, Balochistan on Sunday, police said. The blast took place after unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade in Turbat's main market, officials said. Police and rescue members rushed to the spot soon after the explosion and cordoned off the site. The explosion also partially damaged three motorbikes. The injured were shifted to a hospital.

KARACHI: A case was registered Thursday night over the hand grenade attack earlier in the day in the metropolis' Kharadar area that claimed one life, police sources said. The case was filed in Kharadar police station, against two unidentified persons ? who, according to the police, were riding a motorcycle ? under the name of Muhammad Ismail, one of the six people who was wounded in the attack. The job of a journalist is tougher than one would imagine it to be. It’s not just about reporting news from the comfort of an air-conditioned office. Journalists, who work in the field, braving the weather, the conditions and everything just to fulfil the demands of their job, sometimes pay a heavy price for it. Hana Mahameed, a journalist with TV Mayadeen, was recently hit by a projectile that was fired when she was reporting the ongoing clash between the Israeli police and the East Jerusalem protestors. She had a hole in her neck and face; however that did not stop her from showing up for work like the true professional that she is. Very soon, she was back on the field, spotted on TV, doing her job while being covered in bandages.
