  1. The Beyerdynamic Beat Byrd wired in-ear earphones showed up for review at a time when the 3.5mm headphone jack is becoming obsolete. Seriously, I didn't think I'd be reviewing wired in-ear earphones in 2019. But you know what? It's earphones like these that make me want to use smartphones and other audio equipment that have an audio jack. Trust me, I've been using the Beyerdynamic Beat Byrd earphones for the last couple of weeks to listen to all my music, both when I am just chilling at home and on the go, and I've been loving it. Let me tell you all about it - Design & Build Quality In terms of the looks, these look like very basic. You see, Beyerdynamic has been making audio equipment for a long time now. Their products are best known for audio quality, not much for the design aesthetics. It's one of those brands that focus on performance over looks. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer So when you look at the Beat Byrd and give it a listen, you'll quickly realize that the company's objective was to make a piece of hardware that's more functional. The earpiece housing is made out of plastic and you get silicon ear tips. There are no fancy rugged braided cables to be seen here and all you get is a cable made out of rubber. These also happen to be one of the most affordable products from the company, which explains why it doesn't look all that fancy. They're certainly not going to grab any attention like, say, the AirPods do, but the audiophiles around you will definitely appreciate your choice. Also, they're supremely comfortable. I literally had them on for multiple hours the other day without experiencing fatigue. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer And since we're talking about the build quality, I think it's a good time to point out that these earphones lack a remote or mic. So yes, you won't be able to take calls or switch/ play/ pause music. It'll obviously come as a surprise for most people, but that shouldn't really bother you if you're picking these earphones strictly for listening to music. Beyerdynamic Beat Byrd Audio Quality Before I talk about the audio quality, I'd like to point out that it's extremely important to pick the right size of ear tips for a snug fit. That's how you'll be able to enjoy the music and get the most out of this pair of earphones. In fact, that holds true for all the earphones, because if they don't fit well enough, then you're not going to experience bass. The Beat Byrd comes with a couple of ear tips inside the box, so be sure you play around with the fit before jumping into music. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer That's the first thing I did before listening to any music and boy was I surprised by the audio quality. Alright, I am not going to say that these are best sounding earphones or headphones that I've ever used. The 1More Quad Driver earphones and the Sennheiser HE 1 still take the cake for that, but the Beat Byrd is certainly one of the best wired in-ear earphones I've used in my recent memory. I started listening to my usual Spotify playlist to get an idea of how good they are. But as soon as I connected it to my Pixel 3a XL and popped them in, I was quite surprised by the audio quality. And that's when I started exploring more music, going back to my old playlist to find some classic funk and hip-hop music. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer The Beyerdynamic Beat Byrd is a pair of bass heavy earphones. If you're not into them, then these aren't for you. But one of the things that I really liked is that the bass had more depth than I had expected. The way they're tuned is extremely warm and friendly, and the bass is clearly given more supremacy. If you primarily listen to hip-hop music Tupac's 'Until the End of Time' Album. Or try listening to something like Fat Larry's 'Band - Act Like You Know', you'll love it. The Final Say You can pick up the Beyerdynamic Beat Byrd for just Rs. 2,199, which, as mentioned earlier, makes it the company's one of the most affordable products. At that price, it's really hard to criticize it. Yes, the design could have been a little better, but it's important to understand that it's not always about the design. If you like bass-heavy earphones, then you find it an absolute pleasure to use these earphones. The audio quality is simply addictive. Overall, I'll say that Beyerdynamic Beat Byrd's bass-heavy sound is something that you'll absolutely fall in love with. Even without any discounts, these are simply awesome for the price. So, just go ahead and pick one up.
  2. Viral internet challenges can be rather funny. The Tide pod challenge was essentially people popping tide pods like candy, which was a major health challenge ad the kiki challenge clearly caused more harm than good. But then there are also interesting challenges that make you discover something about yourself that you never knew before. A Twitter user recently discovered similar looking freckles on both her wrists and made a post about it asking fellow Twitter users if they have them too. This led to thousands of replies confirming the existence of similar looking freckles for these users. Here's how it started: ladies..... u got a freckle on the middle of ur wrist or is this a myth lmao pic.twitter.com/VpwkkeWKTj — aaryn â° (@aarynwhitley) May 22, 2019 and here are some responses that might shock you: ladies..... u got a freckle on the middle of ur wrist or is this a myth lmao pic.twitter.com/VpwkkeWKTj — aaryn â° (@aarynwhitley) May 22, 2019 While this internet challenge doesn't involve doing something freakish, it certainly led people into discovering freckles on their wrists that they had no clue about which in fact was very freakish. People were amused to see other people with similar looking freckles on their wrists. But like all internet challenges, this challenge too does not have a solid ground. You might discover freckles at the back of your wrists or you might not. Personally, I did not have freckles at the back of my wrists, however, fellow writer Kartik Iyer had a freckle each on both his hands. © Karthik Iyer © Karthik Iyer This only goes on to show that for some people, this challenge, in fact, holds true.
  3. Yesterday's swearing-in ceremony was quite eventful, but one of the biggest things everyone realized was Sushma Swaraj won't be a part of the Modi Government 2.0. The much loved former Minister of External Affairs of India did not take part in the Lok Sabha elections this year but people still had hopes that she would get a nomination for Rajya Sabha and become a part of the Cabinet. But, looks like following some health troubles, she won't be a part of the new government. Thanking PM Narendra Modi in a tweet for giving her the opportunity to serve the people of the country for five years, she said - पà¥à¤°à¤§à¤¾à¤¨ मà¤à¤¤à¥à¤°à¥ à¤à¥ - à¤à¤ªà¤¨à¥ 5 वरà¥à¤·à¥à¤ तठमà¥à¤à¥ विदà¥à¤¶ मà¤à¤¤à¥à¤°à¥ à¤à¥ तà¥à¤° पर दà¥à¤¶à¤µà¤¾à¤¸à¤¿à¤¯à¥à¤ à¤à¤° पà¥à¤°à¤µà¤¾à¤¸à¥ भारतà¥à¤¯à¥à¤ à¤à¥ सà¥à¤µà¤¾ à¤à¤°à¤¨à¥ à¤à¤¾ मà¥à¤à¤¾ दिया à¤à¤° पà¥à¤°à¥ à¤à¤¾à¤°à¥à¤¯à¤à¤¾à¤² मà¥à¤ वà¥à¤¯à¤à¥à¤¤à¤¿à¤à¤¤ तà¥à¤° पर भॠबहà¥à¤¤ समà¥à¤®à¤¾à¤¨ दिया. मà¥à¤ à¤à¤ªà¤à¥ पà¥à¤°à¤¤à¤¿ बहà¥à¤¤ à¤à¤à¤¾à¤°à¥ हà¥à¤. हमारॠसरà¤à¤¾à¤° बहà¥à¤¤ यशसà¥à¤µà¤¿à¤¤à¤¾ सॠà¤à¤²à¥, पà¥à¤°à¤à¥ सॠमà¥à¤°à¥ यहॠपà¥à¤°à¤¾à¤°à¥à¤¥à¤¨à¤¾ हà¥. — Sushma Swaraj (@SushmaSwaraj) May 30, 2019 This was followed by a lot of heartfelt messages, thanking her for all that she's done these past few years. H.E. @SushmaSwaraj leaves a lasting legacy as External Affairs Minister. Thank you Madam for being a true friend, and a partner to the Maldives. Your commitment to your people, your dedication to serve, and your passion has inspired several including me. Sincere best wishes. pic.twitter.com/wVMZlJLNiE — Abdulla Shahid ð (@abdulla_shahid) May 30, 2019 Obama, tho. With the big guys & little guys. Ab passpost ka matter hua toh kisko tag karna? — Sagar (@sagarcasm) May 30, 2019 People loved her a lot. The country will miss you in the cabinet . You brought in emotions and values to a ministry which always seemed so clinical! — Priyanka Chaturvedi (@priyankac19) May 30, 2019 Exactly. Govts may change, the cabinet may change, but Sushma Swaraj will go down as the most likeable cabinet ministers India has ever had. Hamid Ansari came back from a Pakistani Jail, he & his mother met Sushma ji on his return. Watch. I choked. pic.twitter.com/TVwqUC2Rxe — Gabbbar (@GabbbarSingh) May 30, 2019 So many 'miss you' messages. Miss u madam Because of her v all came to know the real meaning of external ministry #Sushmaswaraj #modisarkar2 pic.twitter.com/FpowADVjGw — RAJSELVAN Dr Thangam (@RajselvanT) May 30, 2019 Yep. Congratulations @SushmaSwaraj ji on a wonderful tenure! One the best EAMs India could ever have. India is truly indebted for your exemplary service to the country and its citizens. Wish you the best of health and happiness :) #SushmaSwaraj https://t.co/QfCqv9ncTg — Sukanya Iyer (@sukanyasiyer) May 30, 2019 Totally agree. Look whats trending... A person who is not even in cabinet these time. India is surely gonna miss you mam @SushmaSwaraj you were one of the best foreign minister India has ever witnessed, it would be too tough for the new person to follow your legacy..#ModiReturns #sushmaswaraj pic.twitter.com/7Pxcavzw9y — Manthan Shah (@ShahManthan89) May 30, 2019 She should've been. Why isn't #SushmaSwaraj part of the cabinet? She was by far one of the most effective and efficient ministers in the #ModiSarkar!#SwearinginCeremony — Aniket Pargaonkar ð®ð³ (@aniketsp) May 30, 2019 Yep. I did not realize (until 2 mins back) that #SushmaSwaraj @SushmaSwaraj is not swearing in, which means she will not be a part of #ModiSarkar2 I'm so disappointed because she was one of the best MEA India had. A shining jewel of the #ModiCabinet #ModiSwearingIn — Shantala Shenoy Nayak (@shanayatales) May 30, 2019
  4. 'Not a perfect soldier, but a good man.' This is exactly the reason why Steve Rogers, a skinny guy with asthma, was chosen to become a super soldier. The serum was supposed to enhance his capabilities and yes, he wasn't the tallest or the strongest, but he was just an incredible person worthy of getting that serum and enhancing all his good qualities. It took him almost a decade and a bunch of movies to finally wield Mjolnir, but he had always been worthy and everyone knew that, even Thor himself. That expression says it all, he knew it then and there that this is the only person, other than himself, who possibly has the ability to hold the hammer and harness the power of Thor. Over the years, Steve Rogers has proved time and again that he will always do what's best for the greater good, making him the only other person worthy of wielding Mjolnir: 1. Taking On Bullies Yes, he 'can do this all day', and pre-serum, he did actually do it all day. A tiny, skinny dude who is so desperate to fight for his country, knows that bullies are the problem, and he himself made sure to do something about. He's always fought for what he thought was right, never backed down, much to Bucky's dismay, probably, since he always had to rescue his tiny friend. But, his willingness to take on anyone, even if he was skinny or ripped, makes it one of his best qualities, tbh. 2. Jumping On The Grenade Steve and Tony are just two self-sacrificing people and Steve has been actually proving that since the 1940s. Remember that scene which finally made everyone see he should get the serum? He finally joined the army, something he had wanted more than anything, but he was still willing to sacrifice himself even before he left to fight the real war if it meant saving everyone else. 3. Saving Bucky And Everyone Else Back in 'Captain America: The First Avenger', he was not allowed to actually fight the real fight but just act as a 'circus monkey'. Obviously, he didn't follow the orders, especially when it meant that hundreds of soldiers, including Bucky, were just gone. He straight up went to the enemy territory to save everyone, without even knowing if they were alive. He went alone, not knowing what was waiting for him and still managed to get everyone out. 4. Basically Saving Everyone Again, in the first Captain America movie, towards the end, he had no option but to land the jet in water - and killing himself while doing it - in order to save millions of people. He did not even hesitate to make that decision, obviously, even though he knew he would die and never have that dance with Peggy Carter. 5. Never Giving Up On Bucky Bucky has always been Steve's biggest weakness, and he for sure knows it. He even used that to his advantage in 'Avengers: Endgame' as well in the Cap vs Cap scene. Yes, Bucky was a brainwashed assassin and did truly terrible things, including killing Tony's parents, but Steve never ever gave up on his best friend, just like Bucky never did while saving pre-serum Steve from bullies. At the end of 'Winter Soldier', he just knew that he would be able to get his friend to remember him and was willing to die for it because he was that sure. Then again in 'Civil War', he went against everyone, even Tony, to defend Bucky and prove his innocence. They're honestly bff goals. 6. “We Don't Trade Lives” Yes, his righteous attitude did get annoying in 'Infinity War' but we don't expect anything else from him. Everyone watching the movie was getting frustrated about them willing to kill everyone to save Vision. If Wanda has destroyed the Mind Stone in the beginning, they would've saved the world. Since it wasn't himself that Steve had to sacrifice, there was no way in hell that he was going to let anyone else die. 7. Mjolnir Comes To Him And finally, I'm assuming that Mjolnir itself came to Steve in the final battle in 'Endgame' when Thanos is almost about to kill Thor. I mean, why would Steve randomly be extending his arm to call the hammer instead of, I don't know, jumping on Thanos' back and trying to get him off of Thor? Also, this is the best moment of the entire movie, and I'm willing to fight anyone who disagrees. I can't even explain how excited Steve holding the Mjolnir made me feel. I would also like to acknowledge Thor's reaction; it was so pure, no jealousy, no nothing, just excitement because he always knew Cap was worthy. In conclusion, Steve Rogers is the best person ever, even if he radiates dumb bitch energy sometimes.
  5. Ajay Barot from Himmatnagar in Gujarat grew up dreaming of an elaborate wedding for himself, that would be the most memorable celebration that people around him would ever be a part of. So, when his cousin got married recently, the 27-year-old's desire to get hitched only got stronger. (c) ANI Ajay's parents took it upon themselves to fulfil their son's dream and organised a lavish wedding which was attended by 200 guests, complete with all the traditional Gujarati rituals and ceremonies for the groom. But the only twist in this tale is that there was no bride for our groom, Ajay. (c) ANI If you are wondering how that is possible and why anyone would spend lakhs on such a wedding, read what Ajay's father Vishnu Barot had to say. Talking to ANI, Vishnu said, "My son was diagnosed with a learning disability and lost his mother at an early age. He used to enjoy the wedding procession of other people and asked us about his marriage. We were unable to answer his question as it was not possible to find a match for him. Thus, after talking to all my family members, I decided to arrange a wedding procession for him so he feels like his wedding is being held and his dream is getting accomplished. I am very happy that I fulfilled my son's dream without thinking about what society would say." (c) ANI Thus, dressed in a shiny sherwani, and pink headgear, Ajay rode on a decked-up 'ghodi' and made merry as the wedding procession danced to Gujarati music and dhol. The family had invited close to 800 people for the celebrations, and even a priest was called to officiate the wedding as per traditional Gujarati customs. Ajay's entire family was more than happy to fulfil his dream, and behold the unadulterated joy the celebration brought to his face.
  6. 'Avengers: Endgame' was incredible, yes, but we were still robbed of a very important scene that would have made it even better, IMHO. Apparently, a Thor vs Thor sequence was being planned, but it ultimately never saw the light of the day. Not cool, Marvel, we deserved to see Thor kicking his own ass. Now that the spoiler ban is lifted, the Russo Brothers are openly talking about everything 'Endgame'-related and the topic of an almost fight scene also came up. During an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the directors talked about a fight scene they had originally planned between Thor and well, Thor, but it would have been “Lebowski Thor facing off against Buff Thor”. Joe Russo said, “We did have a sequence where they finally confront each other in Asgard. I can't remember exactly why we moved off it,” with Anthony Russo adding, “I think it got overly complicated and we liked Cap vs Cap better.” Well, considering how much they had to perfectly execute in one movie and how the Cap vs Cap scene was one of the best things about the movie, it's okay to let this one slide. As much as I would've loved to see the showdown between the Thors, Cap's very self-aware fight with the 2012 version of him was great. Joe said, “Once you start developing it, you can see how crowded it gets. We wanted to make sure we had story space to create real conflict for the Avengers that were going back [in time].” Moreover, we maybe got a better storyline with present-day Thor going back in time to collect the Reality Stone from Asgard. The conversation he had with his mother was extremely important for him and you could really see it during the rest of the movie. A Thor who had lost everyone, and also lost the chance to kill Thanos in time had just given up, he was down in the dumps and Frigga really did help him out, and honestly, no one other than his own mother could've helped him at that point. And, that's exactly what the Russos also intended. Anthony said, “I think there we also deferred to the storyline of Thor and his mother, which was more resonate. That was more part of Thor's journey and repair than confronting his former self.”
  7. Last week, Game Of Thrones' 'The Long Night' episode had abysmal ratings all over the internet and we pointed out some key issues that were obviously very evident. Just to make it clear, I love the “Song of Ice and Fire" series; however, the last season has been disappointing for various reasons. I mean I don't want to be known as the “GOT Hater” but it is getting hard to defend the latest season. In fact, 'The Last Of The Starks' episode had its own share of issues that basically points to one thing: the showrunners are rushing the plot and have no clue what they are doing. © Rotten Tomatoes Just to give you a perspective, the first Season GOT has a 100% rating on every episode while the latest season is getting worse with every episode. “The Long Night” was second lowest episode on GOT's history as it had a rating of 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. 'The Last Of The Starks' has now dethroned the previous episode to become the second lowest rated episode with a rating of 61% at the time of writing this. The lowest rated episode in GOT's history is Season 5 Episode 6 with a rating of 54%. Many scenes and plot lines defy logic and storytelling that is the primary cause for low ratings even on Metacritic. The episode is plagued with lapses in logic that were too irritating to ignore. It seems like many decisions are made to serve as it conveniently fits the plot but isn't really demanded by it. Needless to say that if you haven't seen the episode yet, we recommend you skip this story right now; because you have been warned. Jon's True Heritage © HBO We finally got to the point where Jon shared the secret of his true ancestral heritage with Arya and Sansa. It was a key moment we've all been waiting for to see how his family would react to the news. Just before Bran tells Arya and Sansa Jon's secret, the scene is set up with Arya telling Jon that she doesn't consider him as a half-brother but in fact her real brother. They set up a scene full of emotion but it all got screwed up as we didn't get to see any reactions from the two sisters as Bran told them Jon's secret. It was probably the most important scene of this season that would set up the entire season's plot, but instead we got to see nothing. Arya simply left Winterfell and we see Sansa crying while staring at Daenerys' dragons. Where is the conflict we were supposed to see? Where are all the emotions the scene built up right before? Why would they leave such a huge moment off camera? It's not that Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner are bad actors, we've seen them give outstanding performances in previous seasons so why turn away now? The Weapon That Killed Rhaegal © HBO One of the shocking deaths was of Rhaegal as he was shot down by Scorpions used by Euron Greyjoy's fleet. Sure, that was a cool way to kill one of the dragons. However, my issue is with how he was killed. Rhaegal dies with three very precise shots that pierces through his body and ends up killing him. We've seen this weapon before as the Scorpion's bolt was first used to attack Drogon by Bronn in season 7. Here's my issue with this scene: all the three bolts right on target with utmost accuracy; however, when the same weapon is used against Drogon and Daenerys, each one of them misses. Just moments ago Euron's fleet hit every shot on Rhaegal but missed when Danny was charging them in a straight line of fire? © Hotstar Drogon is a much larger target and they still missed? Like the entire fleet targetted Drogon and not a single one hit. Sure, you could say that Rhaegal's injuries made him slower and weaker but it still doesn't justify that the entire fleet missed a larger target that was flying in a straight line towards them. This a classic case where decisions are taken for the convenience of the plot without putting any real effort or thought to them. The logic is missing because it seems like the show-runners have run out of ideas and are now just taking rushed decisions without taking logic into consideration. © HBO My other issue is with the bolt itself. Just last season we saw Drogon get injured by Bronn when he used the Scorpion to deter the attack. Drogon was visibly injured but was forced to land and Dany easily took it out. Now all of a sudden the bolt is powerful enough to destroy ships and pierce a dragon's skin. Have the bolts suddenly gotten stronger? Who will tell us that? Do the showrunners just expect us to assume that certain advances were made off-screen? C'mon guys, you can do better than that. Why Didn't Daenerys See The Fleet? © HBO Dany and her two dragons were literally 200 feet above sea level and neither of them spotted a massive fleet? I mean they could see them very clearly but both the dragons and Daenerys were flying around without having any sense of awareness? It's not like some lone-wolf was attacking them from behind a bush or something, it was an entire fleet! Given her vantage point up in the sky, Daenerys should have seen the Greyjoy fleet approaching. Ghost's Departure © HBO As a pet owner, I can't wait to get home from work and play with my dogs every day. I feel sad leaving them behind every day when coming to my workplace in the morning. It's sort of hard to believe that Ghost's departure was handled in the most unrealistic manner. Ghost has been with Jon ever since he was a pup and has saved his life many times. Ghost also battled the White Walkers and lost his ear in the 'Battle For Winterfell'. The least Jon could do was hug his direwolf before he sends him off with the free-folk. I mean, it was the saddest moment in the entire episode and we don't even see Jon interact with his pet wolf? I'm not the only one who felt this way, in fact, there were many Twitter reactions to this scene and you can read more about it here.
  8. 'Game Of Thrones' has a cult following for a lot of reasons. One of which is the fact that the show has stellar costumes that look authentic to the timeline they shoot in. However, wearing such context-heavy costumes comes at a heavy price. Sometimes, the fabric or the design was so uncomfortable that the actors could do nothing but sit through long and tiresome shooting hours. Maisie Williams, in a recent interview with a leading publication revealed that the prep for 'Game Of Thrones', aside from the strenuous shooting in extremely cold locations, also had to deal with uncomfortable straps and bellies. For Maisie Williams, as Arya Stark in the initial few seasons, had to wear a strap across her chest to hide her breasts. At 15, while normal teenage girls had crushes and an awkward teenage life, Maisie Williams had to wear a strap and hide her breasts for long shoot hours as her character Arya, was pretending to be a boy in the series. And after the strap stopped working, Maisie Williams had to wear a "chubby belly" to "even out the playing field" so no one( other characters) would suspect her a girl on the show. © HBO It was only in the sixth season that the costume designers decided to let Arya grow on the show so they gave a bra to Maisie Williams as a part of the costume. This made the costume in general so much more comfortable for Maisie Williams.
  9. Unlike us normal folks, celebrities don't get the privacy they need when they're going through a divorce or even an annulment. Before they know it, their entire sob story is splashed all across social media platforms and tabloids. While I am not sure why their marriages hit the rocks sooner than anticipated, I do know it's a rather difficult time for them to maintain a certain amount of discretion they desire. Commitments take time and effort to work and if either is lacking, the marriage is bound to slip up and head towards an undesirable end. And when you're a celebrity, time and effort are two things that really need to be worked upon and sometimes that doesn't happen the way it should. (c)Twitter Just recently Nicolas Cage annulled his fourth marriage to girlfriend Erika Koike and we're not sure what brought about the formidable difference between their equation, but this was a very short-lived marriage. So, here are 5 celebrity couples, both in Hollywood and Bollywood, whose marriages fell apart faster than their dreams did: (1) Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries (c)Pintrest The two had differences they couldn't figure and their marriage was no fairytale, just like how their wedding was. Their marriage lasted for 72 days to be precise before they parted ways. (2) Pulkit Samrat & Shweta Rohira (c)Twitter The two had been dating a while and the 'Fukrey' actor finally married his long term girlfriend Shweta, only to divorce her 1 months after. it is rumoured their differences began with Pulkit's rumoured closeness with Yami Gautam. (3) Katy Perry & Russel Brand (c)Twitter The couple tied the knot in India but unfortunately, their marriage couldn't last for more than 14 months. The reason isn't clear but it was mostly because of Katy's busy routine that left little or no time to make this marriage work. (4) Karan Singh Gill & Mallika Sherawat (c)Twitter While Mallika refuses that she was ever married, there are pictures of her sitting at a mandap. The guy in the picture happens to be a pilot named Karan Gill Singh and they were just married for 12 months. Mostly because Mallika wanted to concentrate on her career. (5) Britney Spears & Jason Alexander (c)Pintrest Back in 2004, the pop artist tied the knot with her childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas. The marriage definitely made headlines all over the world but unfortunately, last only for 55 hours! We're not sure why it happened in the first place! While it's sad the marriage lasted for such a little while, I am sure the couple made peace with it and were happy with their decision. Here's hoping for longer lasting and happier marriages!
  10. There is something to be said about the charms that are so quintessentially 'Will Smith'. The man is capable of putting you at ease and getting the party started all at once. Will Smith has this upbeatness about him that makes you want to tag along and just enjoy the company. Bollywood had the chance of revelling in Smith's awesome company last year, while the 'Pursuit Of Happyness' star was in India to shoot a dance sequence for Karan Johar's upcoming production 'Student Of The Year 2'. © Facebook While the internet was abuzz with Will Smith's last visit to India, he is yet again trending with the teaser of his upcoming episode on 'Will Smith's Bucket List'. The teaser shows Will Smith arriving for the rehearsal of his dance performance on 'Radha Teri Chunari' to be featured on SOTY 2. We can see Will really struggling with the desi moves the choreographer suggests, and what's more, at one point he even confesses to having elbowed another dancer accidently while practising, “I don't know who it was, but I elbowed someone very hard while getting the flute up.” © Twitter The practise sesh looks funny when you consider Smith's struggles trying to get the bansuri step right, but he eventually gets it. And honestly, we can't wait to take a look at the final music video, which also stars Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey, for no other reason than to watch Will Smith shaking a leg to full-on desi Bollywood song. Watch the entire episode of 'Bollywood Dancing' from 'Will Smith's Buck List' here:
  11. Just when I thought Facebook was done screwing up its user's privacy, a new report just popped up saying that Facebook's employees had access to hundreds of millions of user passwords. Good job, Facebook! Yesterday, when an independent security journalist named Brian Krebs reported about this mistake, Facebook issued a press release to confirm the same and said it discovered the mishap during a “routine security review in January.” Here's the best part - The press release was titled “Keeping Passwords Secure”. LOL! © Reuters Krebs' report noted that anywhere between 200 to 600 million people are affected due to this mistake, which shouldn't have happened in the first place. In fact, it looks like some passwords were found in archives dating back to 2012. The social media site estimates that hundreds of millions of Facebook Lite users, tens of millions of other Facebook users, and tens of thousands of Instagram users. Looks like the issue has been fixed and it will notify everyone affected. © Pexels According to Facebook, there's no evidence that plain text passwords were exposed outside of the company, neither were they abused internally. So, it says even the affected users don't necessarily need to change their passwords, but I'd still change it if I were you. I am sure you know that this isn't the first security breach that Facebook and its users are dealing with. All we've been hearing about is Facebook and it's privacy issues. It all started with the Cambridge Analytica scandal, and it's just been a string of bad security issues. People even started dumping Facebook, which I once wondered was the right thing to do. But now, I have some serious trust issues and I wonder if it's time to dump the platform for real.
  12. Whether it's the Big Bash League (BBL) or their domestic competitions, the Australian cricket has produced some of the most memorable moments in cricket in recent times. From spectacular catches to bizarre dismissals, the cricket fans continue to be treated to the never-before-seen moments on the field. Last month, Australia's Heather Graham claimed one of the most bizarre wickets when New Zealand's Katie Perkins played a shot which ballooned off the bat of her teammate Katey Martin at the non-striker's end and went straight into the hands of the Oz bowler. But, if that wasn't bizarre enough, Australian batsman Steve O'Keefe became the latest victim of a chaotic cricket moment. During a Sheffield Shield clash between Victoria and New South Wales, O'Keefe came out to bat with a runner on Day 2 of the match at Drummoyne Oval after tweaking his hamstring. But, unfortunately, the former New South Wales captain forgot that he had his buddy running for him wide off the pitch. Steve O'Keefe came out to bat with a runner... Then he forgot he had a runner ð#SheffieldShield | #NSWvVIC pic.twitter.com/Uz6BQAki7o — #7Cricket (@7Cricket) March 13, 2019 After taking guard, the 34-year-old punched the ball towards mid-on for a quick single. But, rather than staying put at the crease and allowing his runner - Nick Larkin - to sneak a single for him, O'Keefe suffered a 'brainfade' as he began sprinting down the pitch. As Jon Holland made a diving stop, both O'Keefe and his runner were at the non-striker's end. And, finally realising his blunder, O'Keefe turned and tried to run all the way back to the striker's end before Holland's throw caught him short at the crease. While the commentators repeatedly called it a "calamity", it was arguably one of the most comical dismissals you'd see on the cricket field. Was most likely drunk again. 13. If you're someone like me who is simply, obstinately and irrevocably stuck in the past, well, then it's moments like these that just make you feel alive! So, last night, when my fever-addled mind was trying to decide between going to bed ridiculously early or just binge something Korean on Netflix till I pass out, a notification literally had me screaming my already hoarse throat off. Mother of God, the trailer for the live-action remake of Disney's classic 'Aladdin' was finally gracing my laptop screen! I will not lie. I think I cried a little. Well, how can one not, when those opening bars with the scintillating Arabic music, take you right back to 1st grade? And that aerial market shot of the bustling Agrabah market? Perfection. So, without further ado, let's jump into the 10 moments from the trailer that almost cured my fever and then left me for dead within minutes: 1. Aladdin's Freaking Parkour Skills Yea, we all knew from the original movie that he could jump across rooftops with ease, but when you throw in those angles right in the opening shot with our boy literally flying through the air, well, excuse me while I pick up my jaw off the floor. 2. Aladdin & Jasmine's Oh-So-Filmy Yet Perfect Eye Contact Could it get any more Bollywood than this, people? Not that I'm complaining. I love me some slow-motion, frozen-in-place, googly eyes, rose-petals-floating-in-the-background, action. Just look at Al, he is a complete goner. And Jasmine...daymmmm! 3. Jafar Tempting Aladdin To Enter The Cave Of Wonders Kudos to this scene for looking legit Xeroxed from the original movie. And might I add that that giant tiger/panther/jaguar cave sounds 10 times scarier now, even though I am a fully grown adult female? 4. Aladdin Rubbing The Golden Lamp & Letting The Genie Out The cave of wonders filled with riches looks freaking brilliant, almost giving competition to Smaug's hoard in the Lonely Mountain. And yes, Aladdin's expression of pure horror and bewilderment upon letting the Genie out is on point. 5. Will 'Genie' Smith In All His Blue Glory Recreating 'Friend Like Me' Okay. Hold on. Don't even think of coming at me with your “he is so lame” comments. I will hear nothing, absolutely nothing against my man Will. He is going to nail this role so hard, all you naysayers gonna wish you had a magic carpet to fly away on. Just look and listen to this clip of 'Friend like me' and tell me it's not perfect? 6. A Glimpse Of The Awesome Song 'Prince Ali' “Prince Ali - fabulous he - Ali Ababwa”. Remember this? Genie singing as Aladdin makes his way through Agrabah to meet Princess Jasmine, decked as a Prince, in a glittering, extravagant procession along with his “seventy-five golden camels” and “ninety-five white Persian monkeys”? 7. Aladdin & Genie's Sassy Yet Hysterical Chemistry Can't stress enough but the entire movie rests on this particular element. The bromance between these two. Sure, like any purist concerned with the sanctity of the original work, I had my worries too. But the trailer assured me that I had nothing to worry. Plus, it's Will. The man has never disappointed me before! 8. A Whole New Woorrrrlllllldddddddd! Sigh. This is literally one of my all-time favourite Disney tracks and music videos. Aladdin and Jasmine starting something new as they soar about on that magic carpet...slowly falling in love...while singing...okay. Earth to Marina! Anyway, I'm gonna be belting this so hard in the movie hall, pretty sure they will have to fling me out. 9. Abu & Rajah While Rajah definitely looks super ferocious here, and not as cute as in the original, given that this is a live-action movie, Abu has managed to look mischievously adorable and still play a pivotal role in getting that lamp to Aladdin. 10. Jafar Becoming A Genie/Sorcerer This was literally a blink-and-miss shot. But what I could deduce from that second of a shot, is that this is when Jafar orders Genie to either change him into a genie himself or the greatest sorcerer in the world. Will have to wait for the movie to confirm that. So, there you have it. Now that we have broken down the trailer all the way, how about you let me know in the comment section as to which scene from the trailer was your favourite moment?
  14. You can finally play your PlayStation 4 (PS4) games on your iPad or your iPhone via Sony's Remote Play App. The application was already available on Android, considering it was first launched on the Xperia Z3 way back in October 2013. It has taken Sony 4.5 years to get the same feature for iOS devices. © SONY In order to use this feature, you will need to update your PS4, download the RemotePlay app on your iOS device and pair the two. The controller layout is overlaid on the screen and if you want to play on your iOS device, it will work best when paired with a third party controller. You cannot pair the PS4 controller with an iPhone or an iPad unless your device is jailbroken. iOS is a huge platform and bringing the functionally will be a massive expansion for streaming games. There are plenty of MFi gamepads you can use in order to play PlayStation games on your iPad. You can use the SteelSeries Nimbus as a gamepad and map the controls exactly like on the PlayStation 4 controller. © Sony Having said that, you will not be able to play PS4 games remotely such as via a mobile network. You will need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi in order for the function to work. You will also need an iPhone 7 or sixth-generation iPad or later to make the application work with your PS4. The new update has been rolled out for the PS4 and in the 6.5 version of the update, users can also remap the 'X' and 'O' buttons on the controller. Japanese consoles have to use the 'O' button for the “Enter” command, however, you can now remap it to 'X' or the other way around.
  15. Ever since its global launch at the World Cup, VAR still divides opinions. Most of it is because of the time it takes to arrive at a decision and a fear of machinery failure. Wednesday's Champions League tie between Schalke and Manchester City had both. It took VAR three minutes and a technical failure before coming to a decision. According to some, VAR marks the 'Americanization' of the sport. Whereas some claim that it slows the game down thus killing the atmosphere. This 'killing the atmosphere' thing can be considered when thinking about lower leagues or some grounds where huge TV screens are not available. Old Trafford to name one. Also, football is all about uncertainty. Every single element of football is hard, stressful and miserable. The only release you have is the pure unadulterated joy of seeing your team score which VAR takes away. © Digital Trends But looking at the other side, what VAR gives is a fair result which is 'probably' the most important thing. The question at this point of time is not 'if VAR should be used or not?' It is 'how VAR should be used?' Since four of Europe's top five leagues are already using it with English Premier League in contention to introduce it from next season, it's quite certain that VAR is here to stay. This seems to be a tricky question whose answer we'll get only in future. What we can't stop thinking about is what major footballing errors could've been avoided had VAR been introduced earlier. Here are five of dubious mistakes where VAR could've come in handy: Three Cards Too Much © Sporting News Whether you're a player or a referee it is always a big thing when you're called up for the World Cup. Some handle it like a walk in the park while for others it turns out to be a mammoth task. For English Referee, Graham Poll it proved to be the latter. It was Croatia vs Australia, Poll booked Croatia's Josip Simunic in the second half and then again in the 90th minute, but for some strange reason failed to brand out a red card. He booked him again for the third time and finally handed over him marching orders. Though Australia went on to qualify but FIFA admitted that they could've asked for a replay if the result would've been different. Poll meanwhile was sent home and retired from the game a year later. You had one job, Graham. 2. Stephen Kiessling's Ghost Goal © ESPN Stephen Kiessling has had a decent if not spectacular career in the German topflight. Scoring 146 goals for Nurenberg and Bayer Leverkusen. But his name came into the headlines when he scored a truly remarkable goal against Hoffenheim back in 2013. 1-0 up, Leverkusen won a corner and ball found the big German, who could only direct his header into the side netting. Disappointed, the former Germany international put his head in his hands, but unfortunately for Hoffenheim, there was a hole in the net and ball went through it into the goal. Referee Felix Brych, simply seeing the keeper picking the ball out of the onion bag assumed it had gone in and Leverkusen led 2-0. After the match, Leverkusen's sporting director, Rudi Voller said,” Hoffenheim's owner has spent so much money on such a beautiful stadium, you think he would be able to spend a few more Euro's on a decent net.” Ouch! 3. German Tragedy vs English Karma © Vimeo If there is one word to describe England's major tournament performances since the World Cup 1966 it has to be 'tragic' (exclude 2018). It was the final of that World Cup that started it all. With the score locked at 2-2 after 90 minutes, the match went into extra time. A pass from Alan Ball set up Geoff Hurst. His fierce strike struck the bar and bounced on the line. The English celebrated and Germans protested. But after consulting his linesman, Swiss Referee Gottfried Dienst gave the goal. Germany pressed up in search of an equaliser and skipper Bobby Moore sprang Hurst once again, who netted England's fourth. This time putting the result beyond doubt. © The National It was World Cup 2010 and England and Germany met again, this time in the second round. Germans with their young but immensely talented squad were 2-0 up when England grabbed one back through Matthew Upson. With the halftime fast approaching, Frank Lampard struck a dipping volley from the edge of the box which left Manuel Neuer rooted to his spot. The ball struck the bar and bounced down into the goal before spinning and coming back onto the field. Uruguayan referee, Jorge Larrionda waved play on and Germany went on to dominate the second half, winning the game 4-1. Karma proved to be a b**ch even after 44 years. 4. Ram - Shayam Syndrome © Sky Sports Arsene Wenger's 1000th game as Arsenal boss came against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Unfortunately for the Frenchman, it ended in a 6-0 defeat after his side was reduced to 10 men in the first 20 minutes. After going 2-0 up and having Arsenal on ropes, there was no stopping Chelsea and Eden Hazard. When the Belgian curled a shot around Wojciech SzczÄsny, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain was covering before he turned the ball wide using his hands. Clear red card offense. Cut to referee Andre Mariner, who sent off Kieran Gibbs. Bizzare scenes followed in which the Ox tried to get himself sent off but Mariner stuck to his guns. To add insult to injury, replay showed that Hazard's shot was going wide. 5. Hand Of Fraud © AS No list of 'football's biggest blunders' will ever be complete without this. Again it was England, again it was World Cup, with Diego Maradona being the beneficiary of some dodgy refereeing. At 0-0 an English defender spooned the ball into his own box and the world's greatest player ran through on goal. Realising his 5′2″ frame was not enough to beat keeper Peter Shilton, Maradona leapt into the air, lifting his head to nudge the ball past English keeper, and into the net. England went mad as the referee gave the goal. Four minutes later, Maradona went on to score one of the greatest solo goals the game has ever seen and Argentina went through. After the game, the little man claimed that his first goal had been scored a little with the head of Maradona and a little with the 'Hand Of God'.
  16. The world seems to be moving ahead on a ridiculously fast pace. Just last month, the world was going crazy over the 10 Year Challenge in which people used to compare their present self to what they used to be or how they used to look ten years ago. Eventually, the trend took over the Indian cricket team and made for an extremely loveable throwback comparing some of the greatest players like Virat Kohli, Prithvi Shaw, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma to what they used to be 10 years ago. It was simple, interesting and brought a smile to your face, but sadly the internet has forgotten all about it and moved on as if it never existed. However, there is a new sheriff in town that has taken over the social media. The all-new '90s Kid Rumor' challenge expects the people on Twitter to write about all the rumours they heard and used to believe in when they were little kids. While some of the tweets are extremely nostalgic and bring back fond memories of the golden years, others are straight out random, weird and at times even unsettling speculations we had towards literally everything, which now make us realise what idiots we used to be back in the day! From the myths about collecting metal caps of the coke bottles in hopes of winning a reward to the risk of a watermelon plant growing in one tummy after swallowing watermelon seeds, the internet is bringing back the paranoia back. Nothing, not even the sporting world is being spared with the raging trend making its way to the top. 17. Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer 'Simmba' turned out to be a bigger hit than anyone could have anticipated. The typical Rohit Shetty drama-action movie had a good storyline, a stellar star cast and of course, great music with 'Aankh Maarey' being a chartbuster now. Now, of course, the two actors are great performers and dancers but if Sunny Leone chooses to dance on your number then well, there is no competition at all. Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber did their own rendition of 'Aankh Maarey' and well, let's just say, they killed any competition they could have had from Ranveer's dance moves. Finch's wicket came after Bhuvneshwar sent vice captain Alex Carey back to the dressing room in the third over with a Virat Kohli catch at second slip. The third match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground is the most crucial as it decided the winner of the series after Australia won the first in Sydney and India won the second in a wonderful fashion behind Virat Kohli's 39th ODI century and Dhoni's gaming-winning play in the final over. Kumar has been one the most economical bowlers for the team and has a very good chance of getting selected for the 2019 ICC World Cup squad.

NVIDIA launched a brand new GPU for users who are budget conscious but still want to get the best experience for that price, and AMD, just days after, announced its new chip that will compete directly with the RTX 2080. © AMD In a roundtable attended by Gizmodo, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang laughed off the competition and described AMD's announcement as “underwhelming”. He claimed that the RTX 2080 will “crush” AMD's Radeon VII in benchmarks. “The performance is lousy,” said Huang, referring to AMD's latest GPU, Radeon 7. © AMD NVIDIA introduced a ray-tracing to their new GPUs and you can read all about it here. AMD's latest GPU does not support this technology at the moment and the company claims it is 25 per cent more powerful than the previous generations. When asked, AMD CEO Lisa Su about Jensen's comments, Su responded, "What I would say is that we're very excited about Radeon VII, and I would probably suggest that he hasn't seen it yet." So, I guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks to see how things shake out with final hardware and drivers, and independent performance testing.
  22. There have been numerous games that have proven to be extremely addictive. CS: GO and Dota were known to be among the most addictive multiplayer games out there and the gaming craze has now made its way to mobile phones. Mobile phones themselves have a record of being very addictive, whether it's for social networking or just killing time, these portable gadgets are a core part of our lives today. Since the launch of PUBG on Android and iOS, users have been known to get exceedingly attached to the game. Playing a multiplayer game with your friends takes this a level further. From Rahul replying to girls on behalf of Pandya to Pandya playing the perfect wingman for Rahul; the bromance between these two cricketers seemed to be stronger than the coffee they sipped from their mugs.

If Bunty Had A Desk Job

Can you imagine what would happen in Bunty from Sacred Games had to work in an office? Here is a hilarious take on how it would go.
  25. Bollywood's 'Dabangg' Salman Khan, who turned 53 today, threw a kickass birthday party last night to celebrate the moment with his close friends and family members. But, it was our former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, who stole the show with her fun dance-off with the birthday boy. The first thing that comes to our minds (or maybe some of us) when we think of Salman and Sushmita dancing together, is 'Chunari Chunari' from 'Biwi No. 1' or 'Just Chill' from 'Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya'. Yes, that's how old it is and only a 90s kid will vividly remember those movies. © Instagram Sushmita even posted the video on social media, of them dancing together like nobody's watching. She wrote, "Whenever life gives us a choice to sit it out or dance...WE DANCE” The journey from falling in love with #Prem on screen in Maine Pyar kiya #1989 to sharing the screen with him in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya #2005 what a destined journey indeed!!!Happy Birthday to a man who never stopped celebrating 'Being Human' Have a blessed year @beingsalmankhan Know that I will ALWAYS love you!!" In fact, if you play the video on mute you will actually feel that they are dancing on 'Chunari Chunari'. From Katrina Kaif, Mouni Roy, Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandes, to Sohail Khan, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol; Bollywood's who's who was seen attending the party.
