  1. Some people continue doing the good work and donât expect any recognition in return. A group of men from Kerala has been delivering medicines free of cost amid the Coronavirus pandemic, is a testament to the fact that humanity is alive. This volunteer group was formed in the year 2018 when severe floods hit Kerela. These men started delivering medicines and essentials at that time. Now, two years later, they regrouped and are now helping people amid the Coronavirus lockdown. The group is now delivering food kits, masks, and water to people who are needy and cannot either afford to buy it or canât go out of their houses. Not only this, they have also been delivering personal protective equipment to police officials and the health workers whose lives are in line while fighting the disease. The Flood Volunteers Family consists of over 250 members and a few of them deliver medicines in parts of Ernakulam, Kollam, and Kottayam as well. They donât charge any delivery fees for delivering the medicines and in some cases, the cost of the meds is also not taken from people who canât afford it. © Facebook/FVF This group has helped over 119 patients in over 90 spots in Kerala so far and all this while maintaining social distancing and keeping themselves safe. Recently, Kartik Aaryan also decided to share the much needed positive news stories during the lockdown. Kartik has decided upon spreading the good news just like memes and took to his Instagram recently and posted a video as a shoutout to this volunteer group. © Facebok/FVF In the video, he elaborated on how these men were doing a great job at the time of such a crisis. Checkout the video here- View this post on InstagramKoki Good News dene vaala hai ð¤«A post shared by (@kartikaaryan) His 'Good News Series' is called âKoki Poochegaâ and will be uploaded on his YouTube channel as well. The work these men are doing deserves a lot more attention but this video by Kartik Aaryan will definitely help them reach more and more people. We hope more people get inspired by such stories and step up. View the full article
  2. Early this Sunday, Mumbaiâs Nair hospital experienced nothing short of a Mother's Day miracle. After being turned down by seven hospitals, an expectant mother was taken in by Dr Ganesh Shinde of Nairâs Gynaecology department, where despite having tested positive for COVID-19, she delivered a set of healthy triplets - each of whom tested negative for the deadly virus. Itâs not too much of a stretch to say that sheâs been through one of the most dire 24-hours of her life this weekend, but if thereâs a Motherâs Day message to take home from here, itâs this: There is nothing more difficult on this Earth than being a mother. Being A Mother Is A Full-Time Job via GIPHY I think we all deserve some slack for not realising this as children. After being asked countless times about our ambitions and plans for the future, many of us wanted to grow up as soon as possible - no more rules to follow? That sure sounded great back then. And so, as we grew older into our teenage years, we threw ourselves into friendships, relationships and personal interests that came and went - all with the hope that we wouldnât grow old with regrets. All while our mothers stood by our sides and dealt with our mood swings, our avoidant behaviour and tendency to jump the nest. © Trimurti Films While we make progress on the front of women's rights inch by inch every day, itâs only been just over seventy years since the first womenâs rights movement marched onward in the western world - just a blink in the eye of human history. When our mothers were growing up in the late 20th century, many of them had to fight against social pressures the likes of which we take for granted today - especially as men. Having a child as an Indian woman came with many expectations that remain invisible to us today, especially if weâre not actively looking for them. Our mothers have sacrificed so much in the name of raising us - everything from career opportunities as working women to late nights and early mornings spent on household chores and family expectations. Not Just A Mom, But A Friend Too © Hope Productions Thatâs why, perhaps this Motherâs Day, when weâre socially distanced and donât have the means to produce grand gestures or expensive gifts, perhaps the most important thing we can give our mothers is the chance to open up. To have a tougher, but more honest conversation about the realities theyâve faced and the sacrifices theyâve had to make. One that they could not have with a young child by their side, but can definitely have with an older, matured one who also isnât just a son or daughter - but a friend to lean on as well. 3. Kim Jong-Un is alive, guys! After weeks of speculation about his health and even rumours about his death, it turns out the dictator of North Korea is happy and healthy and back to work. People were already convinced that he's gone after news of him being hospitalized broke but apparently, it's not that easy to kill evil. He made his first public appearance after weeks yesterday as he attended the opening of a fertilizer factory. Or actually, it's also comparable to Jon Snow as well and I wouldn't be surprised if he has his own Melisandre who brought him back. © HBO There were so many jokes about how Kim Jong Un seems like the person to fake his own death to see how people would react and then take revenge on everyone who were even slightly happy about it. 4. Before I go any further, let me give you a quick premise of where Iâm coming from. Has it ever happened to you that you went up to your fridge, opened it, stared inside for a couple of seconds before realising you donât even know why youâre there? If your response to that was a yes, you now know the exact reason (or rather reaction) that has prompted me to pen this down. © Pexels We have often witnessed Kangana go all out in her patriotic fervour. Which is totally fine. Patriotism is something we all advocate, right? Only, she usually doesnât stop there. She will go ahead and give a verbal bashing to anyone and everyone who holds an opposing view. Like for instance, all those times Kangana publicly voiced her anti-Pakistan sentiments, even calling for âPakistanâs destructionâ at one point. But it recently came to our attention that after being so vocal about her anti-Pak stand, she was spotted happily sporting a salwar-suit set by a Pakistani clothing brand named âBaroqueâ, with no qualms. But are you telling me I am supposed to be âcoolâ with it, after being witness to the numerous times she has made her anti-Pakistan stand crystal clear for the world to see? Alright, letâs give her the benefit of the doubt here. The poster girl of Indian nationalism wears Pakistani brands and also makes fiery comments on how Pakistan should be destroyed and boycotted. Aise kaise chalega madam! pic.twitter.com/T2fsNpXrtI â Zoya Rasul (@zoyarasul) April 14, 2020 I mean, by all means, itâs a free country, itâs her hard-earned money, her clothes, her choice and her life - oh and it's her sister's democracy too perhaps, but, where does all of that fit in the larger narrative of saying no to all things âPakistanâ that you swear by? © Instagram But again, it shouldnât come as a surprise because while perhaps you and I hate living in contradictions, Kangana has done that before too. Right from calling her âPakistanâs destructionâ comment an emotional outburst to not pulling down her own movie Manikarnika from Pakistani theatres, we have seen her make many a concessions for anti-nationalism every now and then. 5. The trailer of Vicky Kaushal's Bhoot: The Haunted Ship dropped today and it has already inspired a line of memes on the internet. However, people arenât finding it scary enough and looks like they are already having a lot of fun turning some of the dialogues from the movie into hilarious memes that are way too relatable. The movie stars Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles and is set to hit the theatres on February 21, 2020. 6. Amidst the massive outbreak of coronavirus and the fear of how far and fast it's spreading, India is actively evacuating its citizens who are stuck in various parts of China and mainly Wuhan, which is considered to be the epicenter of coronavirus. Not just India, other countries too are evacuating their citizens from the virus-infected area, except one whose citizens are now begging their government to do something for them. The country we're talking about is Pakistan. Reportedly, Pakistan has said that they will not evacuate their citizens from Wuhan to show their "solidarity" with China. © Reuters But, that's not even the weird part. According to a video featuring a group of Pakistani students, when they called the Embassy crying out for help, they were told "Zindagi aur maut allah ke haath me hai, yahan aaye chahe wahan aaye." (Life and death is in the hands of Allah. Whether it happens here or there.) Further, Pakistani students are also panicking because other countries' governments are evacuating their citizens but their government is not doing anything for them. In one such video, a Pakistani student shows how the Indian students are being evacuated in a bus. The student can be heard saying, "Bangladeshis will also be evacuated later. Then it is us Pakistanis who are stranded here and our government says we won't evacuate you even if you die, get infected or are still alive. It means that a person affected with the virus can also become a source for the transfer of the virus. Being a responsible nation, Pakistan wants to take steps that ensure the safety of maximum people." 7. Looks like giving expensive gifts to each other is the latest trend in Bollywood. Either that or our Bollywood celebs are low-key increasing the sale of BMW. Recently, Bollywood's 'Dabangg' Khan, Salman Khan, gifted a Rs 1.55 crore BMW M5 to his co-star Kichcha Sudeep. Now, actor John Abraham has surprised his friend, fellow bike enthusiast and Pagalpanti co-star Arshad Warsi, with a BMW F750GS. Everyone knows that actor John Abraham loves bikes. What people may not know is that he loves his friends equally or more than he loves bikes. And Arshad Warsi can vouch for the same. Reportedly, John had earlier sent a picture of BMW F750GS that is worth Rs. 12 lakh to Arshad and asked him whether he liked it. He thought John wanted his suggestion on the bike. Sunday morning ride in the best city in the world, my city #Mumbai pic.twitter.com/b3IbxYtrCm — Arshad Warsi (@ArshadWarsi) January 12, 2020 Obviously, you don't expect your friends to randomly send you a picture of a bike because they want to give it to you! Apparently, John Abraham did exactly that. Although Arshad said not to give him the bike, he sent it over anyway. Arshad, who is a proud owner of a Ducati and an Indian scout, took to Twitter to thank John and wrote "Thank you @TheJohnAbraham for the Beamer. I bless you every time I take it for a ride. Love you buddy..." Thank you â¦@TheJohnAbrahamâ© for the Beamer. I bless you every time I take it for a ride. On the work front, John Abraham is now gearin up for his upcoming film Mumbai Saga, the first look of which was dropped on social media today. Director Sanjay Gupta shared its first look and wrote, "One of my favourite moments from Mumbai Saga. And of course Mr. Abraham like never before." Mumbai Saga is said to be a gangster drama set in the 80s and also stars Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar and Kajal Aggarwal. One of my favourite moments from MUMBAI SAGA. 8. If there's one thing that we can't stop admiring of late, it is Varun Dhawan's badass looks that he is sporting for every Street Dancer 3D promotion. He is experimenting with super playful ensembles and every time he wears something OTT, he instantly has our attention. © Viral Bhayani Since his upcoming movie is based on the multifarious colours of dance, even his recent appearance resembled the same. He is truly unrecognisable with the Roman hairstyle and electric blue ensemble. Even though the look instantly took us back to the 80s, his boots, however, are so Dhinchak that it made our jaws drop! © Viral Bhayani Varun is wearing boots by Nomenklatura Studio. This style is from runway Spring/Summer 2020 which was inspired by the films Scarface and Penelope Spheeris' The Decline Of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years. © Hypebeast The collection showcases an array of pieces in both traditional and daring silhouettes. The Gangster aesthetics have been interpreted on this pair and has been inspired by 80's Glam Rock. © Viral Bhayani Speaking of Varun's outfit, he turned heads with his electric blue leather jacket with a printed shirt and black pants. The combination with its contemporary colours, extravagant fabric and silhouette makes it quite unconventional and totally a worthy look for Varun's upcoming movie, Street Dancer 3D. © Viral Bhayani All in all, we love his attempt to bring back the disco days and this is what we call, Dhinchak. 9. For some reason, a lot of Indians seem to simply love to hate things - no justifications required. We're coming dangerously close to being like the couple that breaks up every night only to get back together the next morning. We don't need logical explanations as to why we must collectively hate or even boycott something or someone anymore. It's almost as if an overload of too much and too little has messed up our sense of judgement. © Fox Star Studios Perhaps that's the reason why a certain section of our society has taken it very personally and decided to call for a mass boycott of Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone's upcoming movies, Chhapaak and Toofan. Within hours of Deepika's appearance at the on-going protests at JNU protests and Farhan's recent participation in an anti-CAA-NRC protest, #boycottchhapaak and #boycotttoofan began trending on Twitter. © Excel Entertainment However, given Bollywood's past history with boycotts, here are 6 Hindi movies that went on to become hits at the box office despite being boycotted: 1. Padmaavat © SLB Films One of the most controversial Bollywood movies of recent times, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat faced strong protests. Bhansali was assaulted on the set, death threats were given out and what's more, a bounty was even announced on Deepika Padukone's head. The Rajputs called for a boycott, but when the movie was released it was a stellar hit. 2. PK © Vinod Chopra Films This 2014 blockbuster went on to woo a large number of viewers despite earning a lot of backlash ahead of its release. From the Shiv Sena's claim that it hurt religious sentiments of Hindus, to others detesting the Love Jihad sub-plot in the film, PK saw it all. However, regardless of all the controversies, PK won a lot of critical acclaim. 3. My Name Is Khan © Dharma-Production Just ahead of its release in 2010, the Karan Johar directorial, My Name Is Khan drew the ire of the Shiv Sena, who protested against SRK's remarks on how he felt humiliated because Pakistani players weren't being selected for the IPL. Shah Rukh's posters were defaced, his effigies burnt, and his patriotism was questioned. Yet, despite it all, it went on to become one of SRK's biggest opening films across the globe! 4. Dangal © Aamir Khan Productions The excitement was high when the trailer for Dangal hit the screens. The film came with multiple elements to entice Indians. Starring Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan, the film was based on India's wrestling stars, the Phogat sisters and came with much sporting fanfare and national pride. However, a section of the society called for the movie's ban owing to Aamir's comment on “rising intolerance” in the country. People called him anti-national and #LetsBoycottDangal became a Twitter trend. But in no way did that stop the film from becoming a blockbuster. 5. Lipstick Under My Burkha © Prakash Jha Productions Another star contender on the 'controversial Hindi films' category, Lipstick Under My Burkha had a very rocky start when it came to the film's screening in India. Beginning with the CBFC's refusal to certify the film owing to its sexual content and use of strong language, the Board also claimed that the film was “too lady-oriented”. Whatever that means. Additionally, Muslim leaders from Bhopal called for the movie's boycott because it hurt religious sentiments of the community. Yet, upon finally receiving the certification, Lipstick Under My Burkha was well received and won numerous national and international awards. 6. Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela © SLB Films Yet another Sanjay Leela Bhansali creation, Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela, faced multiple protests across the country ahead of its release. Cities like Indore, Rajkot, and Jalandhar protested against the film's title and content. A petition was also filed against the film in the Delhi HC because the film's content involving ***, violence and vulgarity 'deeply hurt Hindu religious sentiments'. View the full article
  10. Probably one of the best and the only shows to put the Indian entertainment scene on the international map with such a profound impact, Sacred Games has been enjoying the top position for over a year now. The New York Times curated a list of the '30 best international series of the decade' produced and made outside of the USA and without any iota of surprise, Sacred Games has made it to the prestigious list. Directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, the series takes you inside the underbelly of Mumbai where Sartaj Singh, an honest cop struggling with his personal and professional life, is caught trying to unravel the mystery of gangster Gaitonde. The show is on the 28th spot on the list and two other Indian shows, Delhi Crime and Stories Of Rabindranath Tagore have got honourable mention in the list as well. An Israeli show titled Prisoner Of War which is a take on the American show Homeland is on the number one position, followed by Sherlock on number 2. View the full article

  12. Do you recall the days when crime shows were a thing on TV and we'd sit through the entire episode just because it soothed our souls immensely when the culprit was brought to justice? Well, those were the days, but they are in the past. Now is the time for sanskari criminals who carry out crimes, but with consideration. Take this one incident of robbery in Brazil for instance. A video of a robbery at a pharmacy store in Brazil has gone viral because of this 'sweet' criminal who refused to take money from an elderly customer present in the store and kissed her on the forehead instead before leaving. Watch the video here. The CCTV footage shows how the two robbers enter the store and threaten the man at the cash counter before one of them starts to gather all the money. In the meantime, the other robber can be seen talking to an old lady who is offering her money to the dude. This man, however, refuses her offer and kisses her on the forehead as a sign of respect and affection. © Twitter While the robbers took off with almost $240 and are still at large, the store owner Samuel Almeida in an interview said that the female customer had approached one of the robbers and offered her money. Instead, he kissed her and said, “No, ma'am, you can be quiet, I don't want your money.” After witnessing all this sweetness, now we need a dose of “chain se sona hai toh jaag jao...” just so that we don't make it a habit to expect such sweet gestures from every criminal out there. People too have found this footage endearing...besides other things.
  13. Before we start, solve this riddle. What's the thing you first set your eyes on every morning and before calling it a night? It always remains within an arm's reach and blinks animatedly a number of times throughout the day. You can eat, shop and discover the unknown with its help, and for most humans, life depends on this complexly easy parallelogram that is reborn every time it dies. (Answer at the end of this article) © Twitter/Yogi Adityanath Now, while you rake your brains for an answer to that one, let us tell you that all the UPwallah students are in for some sorry days ahead, because the Yogi Adityanath government just announced a blanket ban on the use of mobile phones inside all the colleges and universities across Uttar Pradesh. Hours ago, the Directorate of Higher Education in Uttar Pradesh issued a circular to make the announcement which states that no student or teacher will be allowed to carry or use mobile phones inside college and university premises. © Facebook The reason being cited, for this move, by the UP Directorate of Higher Education, is that the decision has been taken to ensure "better teaching environment for students across all colleges and universities in the state." Apparently, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his ministers noticed a lot of teachers and students 'wasting time' on mobile phones, and thus, this move has been taken. If you remember, a few months ago Yogi Adityanath had also banned the use of phones during his official meetings, for similar reasons. © Facebook People, young and old are pissed at this new development and are voicing their reservations online. 14. Nothing sparked greater joy than the time when we first set our eyes on Rahul and Anjali giving us major #FriendshipGoals. No Tina or Aman stood a chance when it came to a bond such as theirs. © Yash Raj films Despite Rahul winning over his lady love, many sullen faces made it known that a whole bunch of people were rooting for Rahul and Anjali's union, regardless of the lost time, and the many changes their lives may have undergone. However, talking about changes, here's a rundown of all the things that have changed (or not) in the 21 years of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: 1. Little Anjali Turned Into A Bombshell © Instagram/Sana Saeed-Navin Dhyani We're looking at you Sana Saeed, and we love what we see! 2. The Neelam Show Has Gone Off-Air As fun as it seemed, The Neelam Show has ceased to exist outside the film. 3. The 'Friendship Band' Craze Has Died Down Millennials will vouch for the 'craze' that were friendship bands and the first Sunday of August. 4. Anjali Sharma Turned Into A Hot Mommy © Instagram/Kajol Kajol is legit one of the hottest moms in town! 5. Anjali's Thick, Lacklustre Headbands Have Become Fancy The evolution is pretty obvious, though the headband 'trend' resurfaced full-force earlier this year. 6. Ms Briganza Is So Over Mr Malhotra The pretty, short-skirt loving Ms Briganza is happy playing house with husband Parmeet Sethi, though she has shed her silly giggles for roaring guffaws on reality shows now. 7. Parzaan Dastur Outgrew His Silent Sardarji Image © Instagram/Parzaan Dastur The star counting sardarji has turned into a talented young chap. In 2017, Parzaan wrote and produced a short film titled Pocket Mummy starring actress Madhoo in a pivotal role. 8. Savita Dadi Has Happily Turned Old & Grey Having Found Rahul's Anjali The frequency of her bhajan sabha has increased manifold now that her life purpose has been served. 9. College Fests Have Moved Out Of Auditoriums & Into The Open DU Fests. Need we say more? With celeb performances and what now, fests are no longer just a 'fun-day' it's a funda. 10. Girls No Longer Have To Prove They Can Play Basketball © BCCL Let's get this straight - girls can play basketball. Hojaye match? 11. Boys And Girls Can Be Just Friends Not every girl and boy-friends have to fall for each other, and this myth has been broken enough times already. 12. Rahul's 'COOL' Necklace Is No Longer Cool Well, we already said it. 13. And For That Matter, Neither Are Those Skin-Tight Polo T-Shirts © Yash Raj Films Let's not even think about bringing those spandex-y tees back, please. 14. Friendzone Is No Longer As Subtle Yeh hota aaya hai, aur hota rahega but people have ditched Rahul's subtle ways of friendzoning for in-your-face rejections. 15. Anjali's Short Bob Has Turned Into Trendy Long-Bob Now Most of us know at least one girl who is currently sporting this 'lewk'. 16. Exchanging Friendship Bands Has Changed Into 'Mujhse Fraandship Karogi' DMs © Yash Raj Films This evolution is real (pain in the ass). 17. Aman Has Finally Moved On From Anjali & Dated A Few Women Pssst...Iulia Vantur. 18. Tina's Popularity Has Dipped Once the talk of the town (read: college), Tina AKA Rani hasn't been very active in Bollywood in recent years. 19. Rahul Is A Father Of Three Now © Instagram/SRK Anjali finally has more siblings to chill with, because Shah Rukh Khan sure makes for an adorable father of three. 20. Rahul: “Ek Mard Ka Sir….” Sirf teen aurton ke saamne nahi, har teesri aurat ke saamne jhukne laga hai. 21. Principals Like Mr Malhotra Might Find Himself On The #MeToo List Today © Yash Raj films Mr Malhotra, all the Ms Briganza(s) are watching. Think we missed something? Let us know right away!
  15. We were probably in third or fourth grade when Archie comics got its Indian avatar in the form of KJO drama Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Anjali and Rahul instantly became friendship goals for us and Tina became everyone's crush. Also, wearing that 'cool' around our neck was a 'thing' . Believe it or not, it's been 21 years since it happened to us and naturally everyone has been talking about KKHH today on social media. View this post on Instagram Firsts are always special! The cast, crew, music & the heart & soul of this film was all in the right placeâ¤ï¸ Thank you for making this journey a timeless one even after 21yrs! #21YearsOfClassicKKHH @iamsrk @kajol #RaniMukerji @beingsalmankhan @apoorva1972 @DharmaMovies A post shared by Karan Johar (@karanjohar) on Oct 15, 2019 at 8:45pm PDT So, while I was casually listening to KKHH album in the morning ever since I spotted the trend online, I also stumbled across a few BTS videos from the time it was shot and boy, it is pure gold to watch them now! Also, last year KJO threw light on how certain scenes were shot and where were they shot. Besides, there were a few deleted scenes as well that was like a child finding a hidden toy. Pure joy watching the parts which didn't make it to the final cut. Not many people know but Salman's role was in fact first offered to Saif Ali Khan and Rani's role was rejected by many actresses including Raveena Tandon and Twinkle Khanna. We're glad the movie turned out the way it did because it wouldn't have been the iconic movie of love and friendship without any of these ingredients.
  16. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is on a roll and is all set to conquer the digital space completely. Nawaz gives life to all his characters on the big screen. He is one stellar actor and his performances are so realistic that you would be completely engrossed in his character. After 'Sacred Games', Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be a part of another Netflix project which is the film adaptation of Manu Joseph's 2010 novel 'Serious Men'. This is my second stint with Netflix after Sacred Games and I hope that people give Ayyan Mani (from Serious Men) the same love that they extended to Ganesh Gaitonde (from Sacred Games). For now, I am eagerly awaiting the release of Sacred Games 2 and can't wait to see the audience's reaction.” The film is about a wily slum dweller, who cons the country into believing his dim-witted 10-year-old son is a genius, to realize that the only victim of his dangerous game is his son. 17. It is Varun Dhawan's birthday today. Instagram However, it was actor Arjun Kapoor's birthday wish, who also happens to be Varun's 'chaddi buddy', which caught our attention. Arjun wished him in the most savage way and let's be honest that's what best friends do: they embarass you and make fun of you. But, you still love them and can't live without them. Although everyone thinks Arjun and Ranveer are best bros, here are some moments that prove Arjun and Varun are 'best friend goals' and have been constantly redefining brocode under our nose. 1. Their Mutual Hatred And Now Love For Katrina Kaif If you are someone who has never heard of 'I Hate Katrina Kaif' fan club, then chances are you were living under a rock all this time. And since you didn't know about the club, you wouldn't know that Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor were the proud founders or admins of this club. When Arjun And Varun Trolled Each Other On Koffee With Karan 'Koffee With Karan 6' was undoubtedly the most happening season of all time. While Arjun and Varun came seperately this year, they once appeared together and rocked the episode like no one else. For instance, when Arjun threw shade on Varun. Varun: "I was consistent in my performance." Arjun: You were consistently bad." Or when Varun revealed, "You have no idea what roles we've played in acting school. I've played a dog and he's played my master. I've played a waiter and he's played a coconut seller." Twitter 3. Their Bromance On Twitter This one time they walked the ramp ahead of the release of 'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya' and Arjun wrote on Twitter, "How can anyone stay angry with Badri? Walking like a baausss badristyle!!!" To which Varun replied "Arjun bhaiya tum hamara bahut good friend ho." Twitter 4. They Always Have Each Other's Back In one of the interviews, Varun said "I am very open to criticism. Usually, I take criticism from my friends, family, Karan Johar. When you act with a lot of people, there are very few who would like to criticise you but I have got a few, like Arjun (Kapoor) would criticise me when he gets a chance, which is very often." No matter how much they troll each other or their acting, Varun and Arjun always have each other's back. Twitter 5. His Savage Birthday Wish Since we are talking about his birthday, how can we not talk about his birthday post. From calling him a coolie, marketer to the child who refuses to grow up, Arjun's birthday wish looks like our regular conversation with our bros. We're talking about his Twitter account and his over 6 million followers can vouch for the same. Recently, Mahindra proved once again that he is not only one of the richest businessmen, but also the coolest and possibly the funniest amongst his counterparts. In case you missed it, Mahindra-owned Italian carmaker Automobili Pininfarina unveiled its luxury electric 'hypercar' Battista at the Geneva Motor Show, on Tuesday. For those of you who asked for a better view of the car. This white #Battista is on display at the @PininfarinaSpA site. The blue was my favourite but I now think the white is even more stunning.. According to Pininfarina, only 150 Battistas will be made, each with a 1,900 horsepower engine that can go from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in less than two seconds.

  20. The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is making a lot of effort to involve the Indian culture within its huge family. In the recent days, the organisation is trying to reach out to the big chunk of their worldwide audience which comes from India by both direct and indirect means, but you've got to agree, they know how to make an impact. In their latest attempt, the company's Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon can be seen donning a red chunni with colourful and shiny embellishment all around as she moves to 1997's Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn starrer Ishq's song, Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai. Enters Stephanie, with all her charisma and confidence, ready to show to the world what Bollywood songs are all about and as soon as the song began, it was McMahon's show as she did the Bhangra with the two Indian wrestlers. The skit comes just shortly after WWE's stunt to reach out to the cricket fans, especially the followers of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, as they put on vote Dhoni's 2019 Royal Rumble appearance. A couple of weeks ago, Brock Lesnar's manager and spokesperson, Paul Heyman too roasted the Cricket World Cup whilst praising the cricketer, for basically stealing his catchphrase to describe his client. Why is WWE suddenly showing so much interest in their Indian audience, you ask? 21. Zayn Malik once drove each and every one of his desi fans crazy when he sang 'Allah ke bande' and how can we forget those few lines in Urdu that he sang for his solo debut album? So basically, Zayn knows how to please his desi fanbase and this probably came in handy recently after he kind of alienated some of his Muslim fanbase after saying that he doesn't consider himself a Muslim during an interview, but it seems like he's done some sort of damage control after covering another Hindi song, because some fans were pissed. zayn malik left Islam? feel like i'm going through a break up, my chest is hurting must be my heart ðððª — Aliya (@_baaali12) November 8, 2018 Like really pissed. zayn malik: leaving islam. fully understand why so many things are haraam in islam, the music industry and alcohol being an example. they just distance you from your religion till you've lost all faith. zayn's a prime example of letting fame get to his head. cancelled. pic.twitter.com/qhghOfw2XK — ⨠(@bismah_x) November 9, 2018 But, Zayn probably has found a way to get back in their good graces by covering the song 'Allah Duhai Hai', yep he covered a song from 'Race' for his fans. 22. When it comes to iconic movies, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' will definitely secure a spot in the top 10 list in Bollywood. This KJo potboiler had everything a Bollywood movie should have- drama, good music, trendsetting style statements, and tearjerker moments. We all grew up with the distinctive memories of Rahul, Anjali, and Tina. Clearly, Bollywood star kids are no different when it comes to their appetite for entertainment. The best example probably is Varun Dhawan, who proved it last night. He attended the 20th anniversary bash of 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', wearing a super fun custom-made T-shirt dedicated to the movie. Take a look: © Viral Bhayani Now, you must be thinking why does the T-shirt say 'uncool' and what can it possibly have to do with the movie? Take a look at the next picture. © Viral Bhayani Ta-Da! 23. The iconic movie from everyone's childhood, which taught us a lot about love, friendship and life, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' has completed a glorious 20 years of its existence. The cast came together to celebrate the milestone and relive the good times that went by. © Instagram During the press conference and the interaction, the superstars dished out interesting details about the filming of 'KKHH' and Shah Rukh Khan had some pretty funny things to say. He revealed how he once thought that the script of the movie made no sense, and that he still has no sense of what it actually was! “I never listen to scripts, I listen to the heartbeats of the people I work with at times millennial chat with me and say things like why you let go of that script that was such a great script. Till date, I never understood a script. And I can say this with confidence that I never understood the script but the script maker or the filmmaker,” he explained. “Karan came and narrated an utterly nonsense crap story to me; which is certainly not the one that finally you people saw in the film. In his strange way Karan, the man with many words tried to impress me with his crap story. So yes, I really did not understand the story when I signed in. and I am glad that I did not get into the story and just went ahead with the conviction of Karan, otherwise the film would have not been the way it came out,” he further added. When asked as to what he thought the characters of Rahul and Anjali would be two decades later, Khan said, "Rahul was a bit of a fraud anyway. He used to say 'we love once, marry once' but did it twice. In my head, I hope the marriage works, but it must have been a tough marriage." However, aren't we glad that he went ahead with it and became a permanent part of our memories?
  24. If you tell me that you haven't watched 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' even once, or secretly relate to one of the characters, probably sang 'Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayi' for someone and have not danced to 'Saajan Ji Ghar Aaye' as a kid, I simply refuse to believe you. The movie gave wings to a lot of teenage dreams of love, romance and friendship. It's kind of hard to believe that the movie is celebrating its 20th anniversary today and social media is abuzz with nostalgia. I can't believe it's been #20YearsOfKKHH ! Salman Khan's role was offered to Saif Ali Khan who turned it down. 3. Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan were the only choices for playing Rahul and Anjali when Karan Johar planned 'KKHH'. They had promised him that they'd work in his movie while the trio was working on 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge'. © Twitter 4. The movie was inspired by Archie Comics. SRK's character was based on Archie, Rani was Veronica and Betty was essayed by Kajol of course. Anupam Kher's character was based on principal Weatherbee. © Twitter 5. The list of celebs who made an appearance in the movie include Manish Malhotra, Farah Khan, Geeta Kapoor, Nikhil Advani (who directed 'Kal Ho Na Ho' ) and Neelam Kothari. © Dharma productions 6. KJo initially wanted to dub Rani's voice since he thought it was too husky but went ahead with it (a good decision we say!). Besides making me feel very old right now, the only thing running in my mind, as I type this, is the title song. The movie might remind you of a lost love, first crush or your best friend, so make sure you watch it today on its glorious anniversary!
  25. Seems like the entertaining 'jodi' of Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu in the 'Bigg Boss' house has hit a rocky patch. After Jasleen refused to give up her clothes, makeup and even cut her hair to save her partner from elimination, things started going sour between the lovebirds. Trouble started with Romil igniting the fire between the two, by ranting on how she could have given up on those things to save her Anup ji. Kya @anupjalota ka #JasleenMatharu ke liye pyaar jhootha pad gaya? Catch all the hungama tonight at 9 PM! #BB12 #BiggBoss12 pic.twitter.com/O518fHRKf5 — COLORS (@ColorsTV) October 2, 2018 While Jasleen felt bad about how the matter was blown out of proportion, things went from bad to worse after Anup openly called it off with her, which left her shook, obviously. #JasleenMatharu ka kapdon ke taraf pyaar dekh kar @anupjalota ne tod diya unka anokha rishta! Aage kya hoga, janne ke liye dekhiye #BB12 aaj raat 9 baje. #BiggBoss12 pic.twitter.com/JH40oJiSws — COLORS (@ColorsTV) October 2, 2018 The other contestants obviously tried to intervene and explain to the couple that it was too petty an issue for breaking up, but the new wild card entry, Surbhi Rana apparently fuelled the fire when she irked Anup by telling him how one's self-respect cannot be traded for love on national television. People on social media are already joking about this first major development from the 'Bigg Boss' house. #AnupJalota right now. #BB12 pic.twitter.com/AlYGgDuc9m — Bigg Boss Critic (@Critic_BB12) October 1, 2018 Today's episode in a single picture!ð#AnupJalota #JasleenMatharu #SurbhiRana #bb12 #BiggBuzz #BB12onVoot pic.twitter.com/H930hbCMag — ð»ð (@Leonotcaprio) October 2, 2018 Also, people are asking some hilarious, yet legit questions. #AnupJalota ... u still think she loves you more than her Makeup ? ð .#BiggBoss12 #BB12 pic.twitter.com/5uQX2nN7cL — Pewdendra pie (@halfpsych) October 1, 2018 Isnt it weird #JasleenMatharu gets "saasu maa" wali feeling from #DipikaKakarIbrahim but she doesn't get "dadaji" wali feeling from her bf #AnupJalota — Satyajit Ulka Kotwal (@HRHSatyajit) October 1, 2018 Well, pyaar ek dhoka hai, but we thought this couple was trying to prove to the world what true love meant to them, and that they were ready to fight against all odds. Will they get back together or not? Only time will tell.
