  1. Britney Spears takes to social media to pen an appreciation post celebrating her post-conservatorship freedom
  2. Tiffany Haddish hails Will Smith for his heroism in protecting Jada Pinkett?s name after Chris Rock?s mockery
  3. Before the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kangana Ranaut had slammed Alia Bhatt and stated that 'Rs 200 crore will be burnt to ashes' once the film releases. However, when the film collected well at the box office post-release and turned out to be a hit, Kangana raised doubts about the film's box office collection. Recently, she took to Instagram and praised the unprecedented box office run of Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files starring Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher. She further slammed 'Bullydawood' accusing them of not supporting or praising the film despite its huge box office. © Kangana Ranaut Instagram Now, she has again taken to Instagram and called The Kashmir Files the “first successful and profitable Hindi film in theatres post-pandemic” and ignored previous Hindi hits like Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi. She wrote, “#TheKashmirFiles is the first successful and profitable Hindi film in theatres post pandemic…. I am telling you all this because movie mafia their chatukar and their bikau media won’t tell you … no one from the industry will applaud or appreciate it so I am doing my bit.” Check out her post below: © Kangana Ranaut Instagram Well, The Kashmir Files has turned out to be a huge hit and is probably the most profitable film of the year but it is definitely not the first successful Hindi film post-pandemic. Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif was the first successful Hindi film followed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt. Kangana had also shared a graphic of The Kashmir Files’ worldwide box office collection and wrote, “First successful film post pandemic, Isko kehte hain sachchi wali blockbuster”. Check out her story below: © Kangana Ranaut Instagram The Kashmir Files released alongside Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam and outperformed the period romantic drama by a margin. 4. While Kangana Ranaut is vocal about nepotism in Bollywood and doesn’t hold back from naming and shaming people of the industry, she is also quite supportive and appreciative of actors and films that she thinks did a good job. Her praising KJo’s Shershaah and Sidharth Malhotra as Captain Vikram Batra is proof that she does call spade a spade. © Instagram/Kangana Ranaut Although there are not many people in the film industry who impress her, there is one who recently got heaps of praises from the actress. Yami Gautam's latest thriller, A Thursday, just released last week and her performance is being praised across the country. Kangana, too, is one of the people who are hailing the film and applauding Yami. © RSVP Movies The film is currently enjoying an 8.3 rating on IMDb which is a great deal, especially for a woman-centric thriller film. Yami shared a picture of the same and captioned it, “No words to describe how this makes me feel Thanks to your constant love and support, that has helped me at every step in my journey!” © Instagram/Yami Gautam Kangana took to her social media and shared the picture on her Instagram stories, congratulating the entire team of A Thursday and the lead actress Yami Gautam. Yami reposted this on her story and thanked the actress. She wrote, “Thank you Kangana. Means a lot, especially when it comes from one self-made actor to another.” © Instagram/Yami Gautam This isn’t the first time Kangana has showered praises and love on Yami. Not just for the film, but at her wedding to director Aditya Dhar, Yami got praises from Kangana for being a “raw mountain girl” as she posed as a Himachali bride. She wrote in her stories, “Older than tradition and time. Nothing more divine than a raw mountain girl turned bride #himachalpradesh." © Instagram/Yami Gautam Both Yami and Kangana belong to Himachal Pradesh and both were considered ‘outsiders’ when they came to Bollywood. 5. It may have started with fashion trends and moved up to health and fitness, but in today’s time, Bollywood does more than just normalize and promote a flashy lifestyle anymore. Yes, there was a time when all people would pick from celebrities were dialogues or their wardrobe choices, but things have changed now. And for the better, too. © Anushka Sharma Celebrities have now begun to normalize taboo subjects like men taking paternity leave to tend to their newborn child and the ones who kickstarted the trend here were celebrity couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. © Parag Agarwal Turns out, they’re not alone in it either, for following their lead is Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal who has also recently announced that he will be taking 'weeks long' paternal leave to welcome his second child. A decision that was fully supported by actress Anushka Sharma, who herself along with husband Virat Kohli, has faced the brunt of society stereotyping men into not taking paternity leaves. Anushka urged the importance of normalising men having emotions and doing what they feel is right, without the fear of being judged and going against the norms of society. © Anushka Sharma Taking to her Instagram handle, Anushka Sharma posted a snippet of Parag Agrawal’s news only to write in the caption, ‘About time this is normalised!" And boy do we agree! Thank you @paraga for leading by example and taking paternity leave. I wish leaders did this when I was early in my career and becoming a father. We have 7500 people @twitter who have your back! https://t.co/MzDEtwCxOL — Ned Segal (@nedsegal) February 16, 2022 And not just Anushka Sharma, a lot of other fellow dads too jumped on the bandwagon to hail Parag’s decision. Ned Segal, Twitter’s chief financial officer wrote, “Thank you @paraga for leading by example and taking paternity leave. I wish leaders did this when I was early in my career and becoming a father. We have 7500 people @twitter who have your back!” Brenden Lee of Twitter’s corporate communications department also wrote, “Proud that Twitter and our CEO Parag Agrawal are leading the way here, ensuring ALL parents are able to take advantage of this most special time for their families.” Even though Virat Kohli, at the time of taking his paternity leave, received a lot of flak from trolls. , it is heartening to see so many people support Parag’s choice of taking a few weeks off. 14. From making his debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year and not getting accepted by the audience to finally changing the mindset of his haters with his best performance so far as Vikram Batra in Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra has come far in his cinematic journey. He's being hugely appreciated for picking up all the mannerisms of Vikram Batra in his latest outing and rightly so. View this post on InstagramInterestingly, Kangana Ranaut who had bashed Karan for being the flag-bearer of nepotism, took to Instagram stories to appreciate Dharma Production’s Shershaah . She even appreciated Sidharth for his acting skills in the movie. In the first story, she wrote, “National hero Vikram Batra was a Himachali boy from Palampur, very popular and loved soldier. When the tragedy happened, news spread like wildfire in Himachal, it slid through our hearts. As a kid, I remember being tormented for days.” In the second post, she added, “What a glorious tribute @sidmalhotra. Congratulations to the entire team. It was a big responsibility and you all excelled." © Instagram/Kangana Ranaut Kangana and Karan have shared a rather cold past. In one of the interviews, Johar had told Mumbai Mirror, “So much has been said about Kangana, me, and some kind of rivalry or simmering tension. But at every public event, we’ve met, we’ve greeted each other graciously. Whatever may have been said or insinuated in print, I think I’m too old and wise to hold any kind of malice in my heart for anybody. As a filmmaker, I respect Kangana’s talent, craft, and what she brings to the table. She is an actor who has proved her mettle and is deserving of the honour. Besides Ekta (Kapoor) and Adnan Sami, I am honoured to receive the Padma Shri alongside Kangana.” View this post on Instagram On the professional front, Kangana will next be seen in director Vijay’s Thalaivi. The film is a biopic of actor and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa. In the film, while Kangana Ranaut will be playing the character of Jayalalithaa, Arvind Swami will be essaying the role of late Chief Minister M G Ramachandran. She will also be seen in Dhaakad following that. View the full article
