Allu Arjun’s last release Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was a record-breaking hit in Telugu states and fans were waiting for his next release, the ambitious Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 with bated breath. However, it seems like the movie has failed to live up to the expectations. Made on a grand scale, Pushpa is presented as Allu Arjun’s first pan-India film and was supposed to be his official introduction to the north Indian audiences as well. © Mythri Movie Makers But, the early fan reactions that are coming in on social media suggest that the movie is a major disappointment. A lot of people have taken to Twitter and have expressed their disappointment with the film. The general consensus is that the first half of the film is good and Allu Arjun’s performance throughout is outstanding and the action sequences are brilliant. But it is the second half, particularly the climax and the background score that is poor. The movie was also in news for roping in Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil in the role of an antagonist.
