However, 10 years on, HBO has made sure that we get a taste of what things were like when the Harry Potter movies were around. That's right! After witnessing the release of the Friends: The Reunion, which was aired not so long ago, HBO Max has now decided to bring together the cast members of the original Harry Potter movies for a TV reunion special. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint & Emma Watson, who played the roles of Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Hermione Granger will lead the rest of the cast members in coming back for the reunion. HBO even released the teaser for it, making us go like, 'Where did that come from?' This event will be the first time that all the lead actors will be seen together on TV since the culmination of the original Harry Potter movie series. Titled Return To Hogwarts, the TV special will see the trio joined by cast members Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, and Tom Felton. We'd like to think he has all it takes to be the first live-action Black Superman. Now, while HBO has declined to comment or share any details about the potential project, here are five things you should know. 1. Different Earth, Different Universe © DC Comics First thing's first. It might come out to be a shock to you but there are around 52 Universes in the DC Universe, meaning there are 52 Earths as well. Now, the Superman that we are used to seeing is Earth One's Superman, Clark Kent AKA Kal-El. The new Black Superman TV Series will, however, focus on Earth-Two and its Superman, Val-Zod. 2. Val-Zod Is The Second Superman © CBR There are many Supermans across the entire DC Universe. However, Val-Zod, being one of the last Kryptonians just like Kal-El, is the second to use the mantle of Superman after Clark Kent. © DC Comics Unlike Kal-El's history of Krypton before destruction, Val's parents are actually executed by the planet's court and he somehow manages to escape the planet and reach Earth-Two. So, just in case you're tired of watching the same old Superman origin story in the cinema halls, the TV show is going to be something very different. 3. He Too Has Really Cool Superpowers © DC Comics Clark Kent's Superman is said to be one of the most powerful superheroes in the DC Universe, and well, Val-Zod is certainly no different. The Black Superman really possesses an awesome set of powers that range from Heat Vision, Super-Hearing, Enhanced Vision, the ability to fly, Superhuman Strength, stamina, speed, invulnerability, Solar Energy Radiation as well as a Genius Level Intellect. After what Marvel has been doing with its Disney Plus TV series, it's really exciting to imagine what DC and HBO Max may be up to in terms of showing the Black Superman's full range of powers on the small screen. 4. Script Already In The Works © Twitter/Collider While not much is known about the limited series, it has been reported that an unnamed writer has been working on a script, with Michael B. Jordan producing the series on his own. With the 34-year-old actor already swamped with projects this year including producing, directing, and starring in Creed 3, the chances of him actually playing the part of Val-Zod look slim. However, they are certainly not zero! 5. An All-Black Cast © Marvel Studios Back in June of 2020, Michael had urged studios and agencies to invest in black staff, especially after the success of his Black Panther film. And there are now calls from fans of the show to follow in the lead of the Marvel film, with many even suggesting that the actual show could incorporate some parallels from the actual scenes in America, where Val-Zod could actually fight racism and inequality in the country.
