  6. Mental health issues are often brushed under the carpet in Indian society. There is no discussion about mental disorders like anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorders and PTSD. Even telling your desi parents that you want to see a therapist could invite raised eyebrows, gasps and tears. © Red Chillies Entertainment People in India are highly influenced by cinema but sadly, even Bollywood hasn’t done its job in this particular area. There are only a handful of films that tap into mental health issues. However, these movies did manage to highlight the impact of poor mental health and mental disorders and opened a dialogue around the same. © Excel Entertainment However only a few, this could be a start. Here are some movies that deal with the sensitive and very important topic of mental health issues in India: 1. Tamasha © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment One of the finest movies in the untapped genre, Tamasha shows how someone’s daily life can be affected and they begin to change when they suffer from borderline personality disorder. Ved is trying to discover his true personality and his girlfriend Tara tried to help him in discovering himself. 2. Dear Zindagi © Red Chillies Entertainment The film shows what it is like to seek professional help and come clean about it in a desi household. Alia’s character deals with anxiety and she can’t sleep most nights. She accidentally meets a psychologist and starts seeing him which helps her mend her relationship with her parents and her attitude towards love and lige. 3. Anjana Anjaani © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Both characters in the film are dealing with depression and are suicidal. While Ranbir’s character is bankrupt and has acute stress disorder, Priyanka Chopra’s character is cheated on by her fiance and falls into depression due to adjustment disorder. The movie touches upon depression and suicidal thoughts and how the characters tackle it. 4. Karthik Calling Karthik © Excel Entertainment The film talks about dissociative identity disorder and schizophrenia that Farhan Akhtar’s character Karthik is suffering from. He is an introverted, underconfident corporate guy who has blamed himself for his brother’s death for years and sees a therapist. The best thing about the film is it shows mental disorder in the most sensible light. 5. Heroine © Bhandarkar Entertainment Kareena Kapoor’s character in Heroine has bipolar disorder which stemmed from childhood trauma but is branded as ‘damaged’ and ‘unstable’ because she is an actress. 10. From small stores going online, to finding medication on apps - many found a reason to switch over almost completely to an online market universe in the last year. But as part of this digital progression, there has also been a spike in white-collar thefts and cybercrime, with hacking rackets affecting many of us directly or indirectly. We tend to stereotype the masterminds behind such activities as evil-minded geeks whose only real friends are their computers. And not surprisingly, our fascination with hacker personas, and the world of geniuses who hack for money and live glamorous lives is now the makings of intriguing content across OTT, TV and films - forming or enriching the plot lines of these narratives. Here are 5 some great creations that do more than scratch the surface of the hacker mystique while serving up some good entertainment. 1. Chakravyuh – An Inspector Virkar Crime Thriller © MX PLayer Headlined by Prateik Babbar who plays the role of Inspector Virkar, Crime Branch - he is in a race against time to solve a ghastly murder mystery. 12. Wouldn't it be great to know if a staff member had replied to a topic before you clicked to open it? When you're scanning a list of topics, knowing which have had a reply by a member of the community team can help decide which to read. Currently, you need to open the topic and scan the posts to see if there's a reply from the team. Happily, in our next release, we've made it clear which have had a reply by a member of a specific group. You can specify which groups to show as having replied via the Groups form in the Admin CP. The per-group setting in the Admin CP You can select to detect the group based on the member's primary group, secondary group or both. When viewing a list of topics, you will see a badge showing that a member of that group has replied. This simple feature will make it easier to highlight when important replies have been made to topics, which is a great addition for forums using the new 'solved' feature. Let me know below if you'll use this new feature and what you'd like to see in the future.
  13. When it comes to limited-overs cricket, such has been the dominance of India's top three - Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli - that we have barely noticed the team's unsettled middle order - a problem that can surely dent their chances at the upcoming ICC World Cup in England. The likes of Dhawan, Rohit and Kohli have been so convincingly consistent that the gaps in Indian middle order have rarely come to the fore. But, the ongoing ODI series between India and Australia seems to have presented a solution - MS Dhoni 2.0. India might have lost the first ODI in Sydney, but Dhoni's resilient knock and ability to handle pressure while steering the run-chase for his side was undoubtedly a silver lining that could potentially help the selectors in sleeping well at night. The second clash at the Adelaide Oval saw Dhoni perfecting his role and eventually carrying the responsibilities of building the innings after the loss of prominent Indian batsmen. © BCCL For a man who once smashed sixes at will, the new avatar of Dhoni is more inclined towards pacing the innings to keep India in contention before exploding at the right time to finish the game - something that was in full display during India's six-wicket triumph in Adelaide. While many had questioned his hunger to score runs and be of value for his side, the sight of new-age Dhoni is surely a blessing in disguise for the Indian cricket team and a testament of that came through numerous memes that thronged the social media after his outing in the 2nd ODI. If you're not convinced about Dhoni being pivotal for India's chances at the ICC spectacle in England, maybe the following memes can convince you: Hamara Dhoni Koi Guzra Hua Waqt Nehi Hain Ki Joh Lot Kar Wapas Nahi Aa sakta!!#AUSvIND #Dhoni #MSDhoni #Adelaide pic.twitter.com/7kSlm8s753 — devotee_of_msd (@Sharukh_Msd) January 15, 2019 #AUSvIND How is Helicopter flying? pic.twitter.com/BjBbdVpdPy — Rishabh Jain (@skinny__boi) January 15, 2019 #Dhoni haters right now...#AUSvIND pic.twitter.com/VSekkHbT1n — Shivamð¯ (@itsShivam18) January 15, 2019 Dhoni fans right now. pic.twitter.com/A7mxR15ntc — Akshay (@AkshayKatariyaa) January 15, 2019 Dhoni to his haters. â¤ï¸ #INDvAUS pic.twitter.com/EX9hc6cxS1 — Mask Ishan (@Mr_LoLwa) January 15, 2019 Gandhi ji searching for Dhoni haters on twitter. pic.twitter.com/YqWZbBTOpH — Krishna (@Atheist_Krishna) January 15, 2019 #MSDhoni #Dhoni #AUSvIND Reaction of Dhoni supporter to all his haters right now.. pic.twitter.com/sZo4NCJyNN — नादान परिà¤à¤¦à¥ð®ð³ (@Gauri_doonite) January 15, 2019 Dhoni Haters at the moment ð¹ð¹ð¹#AUSvIND#Dhoni pic.twitter.com/VvNv1FR8RA — Biduuu! 14. Prince Harry was 19-years-old and Mutsu Potsane was just four, when they first met in 2004 in Africa. Harry, now the Duke of Sussex, was volunteering at the Mants'ase Children's home during his gap-year stay in Lesotho, when he met the orphan child. The duo immediately struck a bond and Prince Harry liked Mutsu and his company so much, that together the two built fences, planted trees and shared many memorable moments in the process. © Twitter Wondering why I am telling you all this now? Well, fast forward 14 years and the two had one of the most beautiful reunions at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle. Honestly, in an age where we can barely stay in touch with people whom we probably met two years ago, it's great to see that Prince Harry not only stayed in touched with Mutsu, but also made sure to fly him down to Windsor Castle, as one of the 600 special guests at the wedding. © Twitter © Twitter 18-year-old Mutsu was reportedly one of the 10 representatives from Prince Harry's charity Sentebale. Harry went to the children's home to help the African children stricken by HIV and AIDS and it was there that he met Mutsu, whose first name now is Relebohile. In fact, it was this trip that laid the base for his charity, Sentebale. © Twitter Over the years, Prince Harry's friendship with Mutsu has grown stronger and both share priceless reactions each time they meet. In fact, Harry even bought a pair of blue wellington boots for Mutsu, which he has treasured all these years. A few years ago, a documentary was made showing an overjoyed Harry, meeting Mutsu after a long time. “Look how big you are now, how old are you? 15? Good man!" After his meeting, Harry said, “It was great to see that he is so happy.” © Twitter Such friendships are hard to find and the close bond between the two was evident at the wedding. There's a video which shows Prince Harry dressed as a groom walking towards the Windsor Castle. It took him no time for him to recognise Mutsu in the crowd, and while he was cheering and waving at him, Harry too waved towards him with a thumbs-up. © Twitter Well, Harry may not be able to lift Mutsu up in his arms anymore to give him a tight hug like he did when he was a toddler, but we hope their friendship only grows stays this strong forever. Congratulations to the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex, from everyone at @Sentebale ð We were delighted that some of our Lesotho team were able to join in the very special celebrations in Windsor today! #SentebaleCelebrates #RoyalWedding pic.twitter.com/DQ6Gwsl1ri — @Sentebale (@Sentebale) May 19, 2018 © Twitter No matter how many memes or jokes we crack, the wedding and stories like these are making us feel proud of the royal couple. Earlier, they urged the wedding guests to not give them any gifts and instead donate to charity. In fact, Meghan Markle even invited 23-year-old Suhani Jalota, founder of MynaMahila foundation from Mumbai at the wedding. Maybe it is gestures like these that sets them apart from us.
  15. Sony has announced their plans for E3 next month and we are in store for four action-packed games that we've all been excited for. Shawn Layden, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America and Chairman of SIE Worldwide Studios, said: “PlayStation's Worldwide Studios will focus on four major upcoming titles: Death Stranding from Kojima Productions, Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Part II and Spider-Man from Marvel.” Now that we know Sony's going to show off the Last Of Us 2, we will probably see some form of gameplay for the game. Not much is known about the upcoming game; however, we will not see a release date for the game in 2018. Ever since the first trailer was released, fans have been wondering where Joel is and how Ellie has progressed as a character. Apart from the four first party titles, Layden said that the showcase will also feature third-party publishers and indie developers. There's a high chance we may see Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Sony stage as they are expected to follow through some kind of marketing partnership. (c) Youtube What we won't see is any new hardware being unveiled as there were rumours of a PlayStation 5 being announced sometime this E3. However, from a recent blogcast on Playstation's official website, Sony will instead be focusing on games at this year's event. We will have to wait a bit longer to hear about Sony's plans for PlayStation 5 or a new PlayStation VR headset. Sony's E3 2018 showcase is scheduled for Monday, June 12, at 6:30 a.m. Indian time. You'll be able to watch the press conference live via Twitch, YouTube, Facebook and on the PlayStation website.

  17. Cricket is not a sport in India, it is a religion. And the religious followers (Cricket fans) of this cult are all set to celebrate one of the biggest festivals or should we say sports events of this year – IPL (Indian Premiere League). Although we are a few weeks away from witnessing the thrill and excitement that the Indian Premiere League brings with it, the auctions and bidding for the players which started over the weekend were equally exciting and gave us fodder for entertainment and humour for the rest of the week. Twitter But, the credit does not entirely go to the players who were being auctioned, it was actually Preity Zinta and Virender Sehwag who turned this into an exciting event, thanks to Viru Paji's wit and humour and Zinta's invisible shopping cart. The former swashbuckling Indian batsman, Virender Sehwag is hands down one of the best things that happened to Twitter and social media as a whole. His hilarious digs at anything and everything have always amused and this time too during IPL auctions, Sehwag did not disappoint us at all. In fact, before the beginning of the bidding, Sehwag commented on the strategy of buying players. Bachpan mein sabji bhi khareedne jaate thhey, toh maa bolti theen theek daam me laana , aur aaj hum aadmi khareed rahe hain ! Farak yeh hai, ab owner bolte hain sahi daam mein khareedna :) #IPLAuction live — Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) 27 January 2018 Sehwag is now a part of Kings XI Punjab and while sitting with the team's co-owner Preity Zinta, Sehwag couldn't contain himself and took to Twitter to comment about how Zinta was out to buy any and every player who was being auctioned there. KXIP was on fire as they raced to grab as many players as they could. Reportedly, KXIP had an amount of 67.5 crores with them for the auction and 3 RTM (Right To Match) cards. Sehwag was at his wittiest best as he commented that Preity was on shopping spree. He wrote, “Ladkiyon Ko shopping ka shock hota hai. Preity full on shopping ke mood mein hain. Har cheez khareedni hai.” Ladkiyon ko shopping ka shock hota hai. Preity full on shopping ke mood mein hain. Har cheez khareedni hai — Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) 27 January 2018 However, Sehwag was not the only one to notice that. Cricket fans seemed to be on the same page as Sehwag and flooded the internet with their own hilarious memes.
